*Stephy rushes into Polly's office* Hey Polly.... did you see that we both are in charge of the Movie Reviews and Recommend a Movie... So first things first... We will have to agree on a movie that we will write about for each of them... So what movie would you like to do... I was thinking of recommending the movie Robin Hood: Men in Tights... I love that movie...lol

Of course okay after school I shall go and rent that movie as I have never seen it before, but yeah sure I think we could recommend that and maybe another one. So perhaps like This one is the one for laughs: and give them that one. And then perhaps Fred Claus as its near Christmas and it would be a good idea to recommend a christmas movie. *shrugs* I'm down for whatever.
Though I do think the movie review should be on one that has come out recently. I see pretty much every new movie so if theres a new movie that you want to watch and/or have watched that has just come out let me know and I will go see it.

I think that Fred Claus sounds good but I dont think Ill be able to go to the theater or even be able to rent a movie before its all due...Ill have to go through all of my dvds and see what movies I have there... Ill get back to you on it

EDIT: Hey polly I was thinking that maybe we should do Deck the Halls instead of Fred Claus because I wont be able to go to the movies to see it in time... what do you think?

Okay so I'm just going to go ahead and write a movie review, and stephums could you just do the reccomend a movie because it was supposed to be in yesterday. Let me know if you have done it because if not then I will just write a reccomendation of it.
Movie Review:
The Goldan Compass
For starters whats with the name? Anyway overall it was a quite good adaptation of the book. I feel that the actoress ( Dakota Blue Richards)did justice to the character of Lyra. From the hair to and the face expresions to the way she pronounced the words.
At first when I saw the boy playing Rodger I really did wonder what on earth was going on as he looked nothing like I imagined but his acting progressed throughout the movie. I feel that Freddie Highmore (charlie and the chocolate factory) could have done a better job yet he took the part of 'Pan'.
Many things could have been done differently in the movie and they could have stuck more to the book. They also missed out the last three chapters, which will most likley be put in at the start of the next movie, if there is one.
Overall an excellent movie, if you have not read the books. If you have be prepaired for a movie of moaning.

I will do the rest later and send them on to amy.

The Nightmare Before Christmas, is an wonderful Christmas movie about a skeleton named Jack.
Bored and unhappy with the life of being "The Pumpkin King" Jack
Skellington of Halloween Town, Jack sets out to find something
exciting. Jack discovers "Christmas Town" and takes it upon himself to
take over the duties of Santa to deliver toys across the world to
children.
This is a great movie one that the whole family can enjoy and Christmas is just not the same without watching it. So pull it out of your cupboard or go down to your local store and rent it, because Christmas won't be the same without watching this movie.

Sorry I know its bad I'm just hoping that stephy will come in with one for us.

Its been an exciting year for the Bally Castle Bats and the Quidditch season is not over yet. Can out former champions, Falmouth Falcons, bring it back up and when yet another season?
This year the bats have been unbeatable! But all can change in the game of Quidditch.

The last Match between the Holyhead Harpies and Pudlemere United proved that when Ginny Potter (Husband to the famous Harry Potter) went tunbling of her broom breaking her leg and arms. Ginny Potter who was know for her excellent flight skills fell of through to the bad wind. Hopefully we will have no more accidents like this one.

Currently Hufflepuff are in the lead, is it possible that out two time chapions, Ravenclaw could be beaten. With lilyflower now gone its up to out new team to bring back the Ravenclaw glory. With each of the teams putting in the whole it is a tense season with anyones game. But now it looks like Hufflepuff can over take the cup this time!

Spiderwick Chronicles
This movie was an adaptation of 5 books placed into one movie. Considering the amount of work they had to place inside it I feel it was excellent well done. The ever famous actor Freddie Highmore took on the part of both Jared and Simon Grace. Portraying both characters excellently. New star Sarah Bolger took on the part of Mallory Grace and I feel this new star protrayed this fiesty women quite well.
Although the acting for the movie was done well most of the plot was changed, including them missing out the fourth book in the series and just going straight to the fifth. In some parts of the movie the graphics were not up to standards but overall a good adaptation of the books. Aimed for to the younger audience some scenes may frighten them. A movie full of magic action and adventure and one that the whole family will enjoy.
