Snape love??

Ok I love snapes character and I thin he is GOOD! but i was thinking - I really can not ever see him loving. I think he may have had something with Lily (though Lily probably was repulsed by the thought), but love for Snape in the future? I dont think so - although it would be nice to see!

JK has also said that this thought repulses her, but I think i like snapey more than she does lol

what are your views on this?

I also think Snape is incapable of loving....though he may have had a slight crush on Lily.

I hate hate hate the thought that there was a relationship between Lily and Snape, it's horrible. As a Lily/James person, if JKR reveals that Lily and Snape had a thing in book 7, I will be utterly repulsed...

I think Snape is going to die in the next book, and therefore will have no time to love anybody.

I think that there was perhaps something on Snapes part with Lily, but no return from lily of course - she was james' all the way!

i would just like to say that i think snape was in love with lily but she never returned the feeling an therefor is now imcapable of love by way of broken heart :drunken:

I think Snape had a slight crush on Lily. I say slight because he really couldn't have abandoned all of his believes just because she was rather lovely. I think that

Snape had a crush on Lily, but tried to fight it by being so mean towards her, trying to convince himself of her impurity and all that so that he wouldn't feel the way he did. I think maybe Lily suspected something, and was a bit fascinated by him. He might even have been nice to her - secretly, of course - and that's why she defended him when James was bullying him. Although, her being nice to him wasn't something he wanted his friends to see.
He hated James because he knew he was stubborn and would be the one to get her in the end. I think he still had some sick crush on her after her death, like, saving a lock of her hair and having it under his pillow when he slept. Or trying to create someone just like her with a potion! Ew..


But that's a twisted image of him. It's fun to coming up with these theories, even though I quite like snape, really.

Maybe in his younger years Snape could have found love. I mean certainly he had a thing for Lily hehe. But as he is now, he is too bitter and cold and I don't see him getting a girl with that attitude :evil:

Yeah. The bitterness might have something to do with Lily?

I think snape loved lily as much as he could love somebody seeing who he is and how he acts.

I can't see Snape loving at all. The thought is just... weird. lol

I just read a fic that sounds really believable.

Snape had a love some time ago but she was killed by Death Eaters along with his sister and unborn daughter. Snape becomes a spy to get back at his love's killers.

It could happen...you never know...but he seems to cold and unfriendly to really fall head over heels in love like H/G.

Snape sooo loved Lily. I think that that's the only person he has ever loved. Maybe his mum. I'm reading this really cool fic where Snape stalks Lily and sends her random notes signed HBP. It'soooo funny.

Erm...I can't see him loving anyone except for maybe Lily but that's like waaaaay back in the Marauder times. All I can say about Snape loving is erm... :lol: :lol!:

Of course snape can love, and i believe he probably has tasted some type of love in the past. to be such a complex character means that there must be complexities in his past and what subject more complex than love

Perhaps he didnt have love for lily though there was something there - what i cant quite place my finger on, though i think whatever he felt left a dent in his soul

Ok, maybe it's just me but I think a lot of the coldess we see in Snape is an act. I think he has to act like he hates Harry and the other students that are friends of Harry's because he can't blow his cover as a deatheater. He is OK to Draco, so he is not all bad.
I think he is capable of loving. I could picture him with Narcissa or Bellatrix if something happens to one of their husbands or maybe even McGonagall.

Hmm, i'm with skully on this one... Maybe he had a tiny little crush on Narcissa, i dunno... but after reading some good stories, it always seems to look like he's attracted to Lily. I dunno, Narcissa or Lily.... blaah.

Snape can love! I agree with snapes girl - I think the coldness is just and act. I also would have loved to have seen snape and lily together for even a short amount of time

Maybe we will get a glimpse of Snape love in the last book. And I am always available if he needs someone! LOL

aww poor old snape deserves some love its so obvious he had a thing for lilly.

I thought Snape could love. I knida always inferred that there was somthing going on that he was hiding fdrom everyone. And know I kno. He was a good guy.

OMG!!! When i read about him and lilly i was soooo sad.... i was crying.

I did think it was sad that he used to like her and ruined their relationship due to his mudblood comment. That was completley wrong and unnecisary though so I have to say it's his fault that he ended up without her.

It was sad that he was doomed to a sad, solitary life.
