| Since Christmas is around the corner I thought it would be a good idea to talk about the history of the Christmas tree.
Part One:
1. Why do we decorate Christmas Trees?
2. Explain the legend of the triangular shape of the Fir Tree?
3. When officially was the first decorated tree?
4. Christmas markets were set up in German towns, to provide 3 things. List each of the three.
5. When was tinsel invented?
6. The first Christmas Tree came to england. List three decorations that they used.
7. In 1850's what were garlands made of?
8. The late 1990's tree was taken the Victorian idea with new themes. What were these themes; list at least two.
9. Why are larger trees placed in public places?
10. When did people start to use the fake trees, instead of chopping live ones?
