(Team Three Seeker)

Pamela woke up early in the morning. She threw on some clothes and grabbed her firebolt. Putting on a cute reindeer headband, she made her way down to the locker room. She put on all her gear, then pulled out her wand and did a basic charm to change her broom handle green and her tail red. Once she was satisfied, she walked out to the pitch. Seeing that no one was yet out there, she mounted her broom and began some warm-up flying.

It was rather cold out, but she thought she should be fine. She practiced some barrel rolls. Then she moved on to working on the sloth grip roll for awhile. Suddenly she went into a steep and rapid dive. The ground came rushing toward her, right at the last instant she pulled back out. From there she just flew around for a bit while waiting for everyone else to show up.

(Team Three Beater)

June raced onto the Quidditch pitch, her hands holding her bat and her broom. She grinned in excitement. This was the first game of Holiday Quidditch! She mounted her broom and kicked with her legs. She instantly flew into the air and June took in a deep breath of crisp air. She looked around and smiled. Her team's seeker was already here! June flew towards Pamela and waved. "Hey!" she said, "Ready to win this game?"

(Team Four Chaser)

Cris arrived onto the Quidditch pitch, twirling and dancing with her broom in her hand, then froze in place as she saw there were only 2 persons - June and Pamela - there. None of her team! Her mouth went into O-shape and her eyes were opened up wide in shock. Another shocking fact was having to play against her sister, for the first time in her life. "Ohhh, bwahaha!", Cris shouted pointing a toy-soap-bubble-gun at her sister, "prepare to... uhhh... nevermind. .... Anyway, Team Four is gonna win!". She broke out into laughter and at that moment, colourful flowers started blooming out of her mouth, so quickly that they were soon at her elbows.

"Ooo, thith muth' be the af'ereffect of thome kind of candy from Thonko'th.. th'upid Fred an' Shorshe," she muttered, not able to speak properly. I guess I must eat them, she thought. Or try to fly with the things growing out of my mouth.... Shrugging, she mounted her broom, reasoning that the flowers might come in handy at some point. Or at least be a healthy (however non-digestible) source of vitamins.

(Team Three Beater)

June stared as she saw Cris fly into the air. She'd completely forgotten that her sister was on the opposing team, and that instead of playing Seeker, Cris would be playing Chaser! June winced inwardly at the realization. She waved and smiled. Her smile quickly turned into outright laughter as she saw Cris point a toy-soap-bubble-gun at her and drew her own. June raised her eyebrows at the sight of flowers sprouting from Cris's mouth. From what she could hear, it sounded as if her sister had eaten something she shouldn't have... "Let me guess, Fred and George?" she said, smiling knowingly.

It seemed just like something you could get from them. June looked down at her bubble gun and squeezed the trigger, wondering what would happen. She hadn't really ever experimented with it before. June yelped as, with a stretched-out popping sound, a giant bubble flew out of the bubble gun. June poked it, expecting it to pop. It didn't. Huh.... The beater poked it harder, but the bubble merely floated there, not breaking. June smirked mischievously. Just a little fun before the game started... June raised her bat and lightly hit the bubble with it, sending it floating towards Cris.

Team 3 Chaser

Katie strolle donto the pitch ready for a fun game to keep her enthused about playing Quidditch. She hopped onto her broom and soared into the air throughly releived to see she wasn't the first - or last one there. As she turned around Katie noticed that June had just ssent a huge bubble flying towards Cris on the other team.

With a sudden rush of giddy-nish and curiousity Katie changed her direction and flew towards the giant pink blob. She flew towards it and then didn't bother to brake as she approached sending her right through it. But wait.. she wasn't rhough it at all... she was merely stuck in it.

(Team four beater)

Becca was excited. Today was a match for the Holiday Quidditch. She ran down to the locker rooms as fast as she could and got ready. Grabbing her broom, she pulled her hair back and headed out. As Becca mounted her broom, she saw Katie, Tina, and Juney. She kicked off and blew into the cold, winter wind. "Hey!" she called out happily. Today was going to be a good day.

Becca looked down in her hand and remembered she was supposed to be beater that day. The beater bat in her hand looked foreign. Becca had only ever played beater as a sub before. Oh well, this would be good practice in case she ever played beater in the future! Becca then noticed Katie trapped in a pink-looking bubble that was extremely close to Tina. "...Do i even want to know?" She giggled as she flew closer.

(Racing Reindeer Beater)

June smiled and waved at Katie. Huh... had she just been swallowed by the bubble? Giggling at the sheer insanity of it, June flew closer and poked the bubble. Now... how could Katie play like that? "Can you get out?" June asked, a little worried, but mostly interested at the surprising turn of events. Suddenly, she heard a very familiar voice and June turned. "Becca!!!" she said happily and waved her friend over. Reality check: Becca was now on the opposing team... strange... And she was a Beater. June hoped she wouldn't hurt her friend during the game, but all's fair in love and war, after all. "...Do i even want to know?" June laughed and said, "Somehow, Katie got stuck in the bubble that I shot at Cris."

( Team 4 Keeper)

Kaitlyn walked onto the pitch and put on her goggles and mounted her broom and raced towards her potions... She did a couple of minuets of warm ups and she was ready.

(Racing Reindeer Beater)

June waved to Polly as the Keeper flew into the air. It looked as if her friend was taking this game very seriously. June smiled at that, but her smile quickly turned into a frown as she saw a bludger speeding right towards her! When had the balls been released? Huh?! But.... oh well... June shrugged to herself and decided to just go with it... it was Holiday Quidditch, after all. June raised her bat and concentrated. She slammed her bat into the bludger, sending it spinning into the air, away from her. June looked around. She knew she should go and hit it at the opposing team.... but they were her friends! They usually played together!

June sighed and mentally *headdesk*ed. She spurred herself on, told herself to forget her sentimentalities, and raced after the bludger. June shivered in the chilly wind and breathed on her hands, trying to warm them up. Her gloves weren't exactly doing the best job...

June was nearing the bludger now, and leaned down on her broom, trying to go faster. A one-track mentality had now taken over her, as it often did while she was in pursuit of evasive balls. Get the bludger, get the bludger, nothing else mattered... June raised her bat and smirked a little as the black ball seemed to hesitant for a second. A second too long. June hit her bat at the black ball. The cracking sound reverberated through the air as the bludger was send hurtling towards Cris. June hoped her sister would understand...

(Team 4 Chaser)

Cris was just playing with the flowers growing out of her mouth - they had now grown to knee-length - when she suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, saw something moving fastly towards her... "Whoa, wha' ...?!", she exclaimed, realising it was a bludger.

There seemed to be little time to flee, so she did a breathtaking move (that would porbably qualify her as insane but ... it wasn't like there was no truth in that... ) by staying in place, leaning back to avoid the bludger and throwing the string [no better word found ^^"] of flowers in front of her and somehow managing to wrap the bludger into the chaotically-flowing-out-of-her-mouth flowers. This, erm, method kept the bludger in place for about a quarter of a second before Cris was threatened again by being punched in the eye or pulled off her broom, not mentioning the pain in her mouth, as it was only now that Cris felt how deeply rooted those flowers were.

"Oh well... no pain, no gain," Cris thought clenching her teeth. Then, with a rash movement, she released the pressure in her jaw and boxed the bludger away with both fists.

"OWWW!", she yelled at the pain in her mouth and fists. Her whole body felt tired and heavy, after wrestling the bludger, so she slowly flew to the ground and sat down to have a rest. At least the flowers are more or less gone, she reasoned while thoughtfully munching on the last remainders of a daisy. "Oi, these flowers are yummy snacks once you get used to them!", she shouted over to one of the players who had stopped to wonder about Cris' little pause.

The word "snack" had rung a bell in Cris' mind .. and tummy. She pulled out a magical teapot and a bag of her favourite green tea, charmed some some water out of the nowhere and dug out an extra big pack of Christmas cookies, handmade by her neighbour, the famous "lady upstairs". She then stuck a sign, "The Tea and Cookies Corner - come one, come all!" into the earth, pointed her wand at the teapot and waited for the water to boil.

(Racing Reindeer Beater)

June stared and then broke out into laughter. She couldn't believe that Cris had just ... just gotten hold of the bludger... with her flowers!!! Suddenly, a thought entered June's mind and she winced as she realized that a bludger pulling on something in your mouth would... hurt . When the bludger escaped from Cris, she... hit it away?! With her bare hands?! Was she sure she didn't need to go see Madam Pomfrey?

June shouted to Cris, "Are you okay?" Hoping the answer would be 'yes', June turned her broom in the direction that the bludger had been hit away. It hadn't gone that far; the greenery clinging onto it seemed to be slowing its speed. June tried to make herself as small as possible on her broom, hoping to fly faster. She was so close...

June reached out with her bat and hit. Swish... nothing but vines. Crap. June pulled her bat back and gasped in disbelief as she realized that it was tangled in all the greenery. How could she hit a bludger this way?? June rolled her eyes and pulled harder. The bludger and the flowers and vines were now attached to her bat! June sighed. What should she do? A thought came to her... What if...?

June grinned at the idea that formed in her mind. She decided to act upon it. June slowly began to pull her bat closer to her, determined to keep the bludger within her - or rather, her bat's - grasp. When the bludger was closer to her, June began to swing her bat in loop, trying to keep the vines and flowers from tangling her bat even more. June looped her bat three more times before suddenly reaching up with her free hand, pulling the vines to the side, and breaking them.

The bludger was now flying off towards Becca, some flowers still attached to it, but the vines that had been attaching it to June's bat were now torn. June smiled at the flower-covered bludger, but grimaced as she realized that her bat now had grass stains marring its wonderful woody complexion.

(Racing Reindeer Seeker)

Pamela snapped out of her too long daydream with a start. Many of the team members had gotten onto the pitch and the balls had been released. She did notice, though, that there was no other seeker in sight. Breathing a sigh of relief she began a search for the snitch. Her first match had officially begun!

There were some interesting plays being made, and Pamela was tempted to sit and watch, but she was already falling behind in her task. Suddenly she saw a bit of glitter off to her right. She turned, and sure enough, it was the snitch. "Thank heavens!" She said. Pamela leaned forward on the broom and the chase was on. Before long she was within inches of it. Her hand was outstretched. "Just a little farther," she said. Then it happened. She was so unaccustomed to the position and having to fly one-handed for extended periods of time, that she nearly lost her balance. In the time she regained it, the snitch had already disappeared. Cursing her clumsiness, she resumed the hunt.

(Team 4 Chaser)

"Are you okay?", Cris heard June ask. "Coulda've been better, but I'll survive.. especially with tea and cookies...", she answered and turned her head to grin at her sister. Uh-oh, June also seemed to be having some problems with the .. erm.. green bludger. Nothing serious though, Cris thought relieved as June managed to dis-entangle her bat and shoot the bludger away .... towards Becca?! "NOOOO!", Cris shouted, "Beccaaaaaaaaaa!".

Desperately thinking how to help her teammate and still not feeling fit enough to mount her broom, her body movements slightly uncoordinated by her brain, she grabbed the teapot, hurriedly poured the boiling water out and .... threw it with all her force into the direction of the bludger, hoping to kick it off track.

However, the amazing flying teapot didn't seem like such a good idea anymore, when Cris realized it wouldn't in ten thousand years fly into the direction she had wanted it to. Burying her face in her hands, she remembered all those times she'd been told to stay away from ball sports, as she had absolutely no target whatsoever and would be a danger to herself and those around her. Nothing else remained to do except shouting at the top of her lungs, "Becca, take care, bludger! Everybody - teapot!!"

Not one of my best days for Quidditch, Cris thought nibbling on a butter cookie and worriedly observing what would happen next.

(Racing Reindeer Beater)

June searched the skies for a bludger and she spotted Pamela flying, a focused look in her eyes. June looked a bit ahead of her teammate and grinned. Pamela had spotted the snitch! June flew downwards to guard her teammate in Pamela's pursuit and she gasped as she saw her friend almost fall off her broom! June flew closer to make sure that she was alright. It seemed that she was, thank heavens. June smiled, relieved, and was about to fly higher when she heard Cris scream, "Teapot!!!!"

June turned her head around, wondering what was going on. Teapot?? What did that have to do with anything? June's eyes widened as she saw a bloody teapot hurtling through the air. It wasn't heading towards her or any of her teammates, thankfully, and it gave June an idea. She smiled and a michievous glint appeared in her eye. June took her bubble gun out of her pocket and closed one eye.

Ready... Aim... Fire!!! June shot a bubble straight at the projected path of the teapot and grinned as she saw that, as expected, the bubble seemed to expand and swallow up the teapot. June flew after it and giggled as she saw the teapot rebounding off the edges of the bubble, trying to escape. She drew back her bat, slowly keeping in line with the bubble, and hit the bubble, sending it, and its teapot, towards Cris who was sitting there, calmly eating a cookie.

(Team Four Chaser)

Mmmm, crunchy, yum! But this cookie could well use some tea with it.. oh, there's my teapot, how friendly! ... Oh no, why is it coming so rapidly? Help!

These were Cris' thoughts while noticing her beloved teapot return from its journey.. in a soap bubble. She hadn't payed attention earlier on, because of her concentration towards her most delicious cookie, but she had a feeling this was Juney-humor. However, her lack of attention cost her... "AW!", she screamed as the teapot hit her left thigh - she had luckily had time to at least roll around on the ground - and all of a sudden, she saw herself inside the bubble, which grew to fit her in.

She didn't know what to think of it, as she of course hated being trapped - but then again, she loved the comfort of having a bubble all to herself. She sat had been strong, but a week in the mountains, snowboarding, had once taught her not too be too fussy about that type of pain. However, the feeling was more like something was trying to cut through her trousers. "Hummm? Oh, this!", she exclaimed, finding her teapot under her leg, split into five or so pieces. She wondered about it having broken so eeasily, after all her leg wasn't that hard.. maybe it had cracked up and broken when she had sat down... was she really as unfeeling as it seemed?

Sighing, she took out her wand to perform the handy "Reparo" spell on her teapot, then finally made her much longed for green tea. When she had finished it, she deemed it high time to return to the game... rolling the bubble on her knees toward the place she had left her broom in, she sat on it, forcing the bubble to let her broom inside. One more little pull and the broom was inside. Cris hopped onto it, and kicked herself up, sadly noticing that flying inside a bubble slowed her down enormously and made it almost impossible to steer. However, she decide to make do for the moment and just ask a teammate to pierce the bubble later.

June loved how Cris could adapt almost immediately to any situation. Faced getting sucked in with a teapot in a bubble, her sister had rolled over, gotten her broom, made new tea, and was flying in the air. June noticed with glee that the bubble now slowed Cris down considerably, a fact that June would store away for use in other Quidditch games. June began to fly in large circles through the air, searching for bludgers. Below her, she realized that Katie was still caught in her bubble. June clamped a hand over her mouth. She hadn't realized that those bubbles lasted so long! June flew down to her friend and fished in her robes.

There! A safety pin! June pulled it out and winced as she realized that there would now be a hole in her pocket. Oh well... June gestured for Katie to move to the other side of the bubble. Biting her tongue in concentration, June slowly neared the bubble with the pin and poked. POP! The bubble popped and June backed up rapidly, not wanting to get sprayed by its soapy-ness. She smiled at Katie and said, "Are you okay?"
