The Free Rice Game

This is a game that's fun and also for a good cause!

To play we'll use this site:

www.freerice.com

This site aims to send free rice to the starving people of the world through the UN. They donate twenty grains of rice for every vocab word you define correctly. Basically, you play the vocab game and donate free rice.

So why not turn it into a game here, and try and donate as much free rice as possible by working together?

Here's how the game will go:

-Go to the site (www.freerice.com)
-Answer however many vocab words you want to
-Come back to this thread, and take the previous person's total and add your grains of rice to it. Make sure you indicate the new total (bold it, or make it larger).

Let's see how much rice HE can donate!

Word I repeatedly got wrong--homily = sermon
Word I should start using to confuse people: praenomen = first name and dulcinea = sweetheart

I was curious what would happen when they ran out of room on the side....so I decided to go up to 10,000. Took me about a half hour, and apparently they have a sense of humor:
