Under a large tree...

First topic message reminder :

Natalie sat alone under a large tree, poring over a book (Quidditch through the ages) that she'd borrowed fro the library. Every now and then, she would look up at and see people cooling down by the black lake, or people trying to tickle the giant squid. This made her giggle, knowing that something that big still get the tickles. She wanted to make the most of this warm burst of weather (it was the middle of October)

Emmalynn whipped out her wand and pointed it at her father.

"What are you doing here, Father?" she hissed, glaring at him.

(I have no idea how he should act...)

Shadow stood by Emmalynn, unsure of what to do.

"I knew you wouldn't come home of your own free will, Girl, so I'm taking you home early," he sneered, trying to push Shadow off of him.

"Suprise visit then? I should just Stupefy you now and get you thrown in Azkaban! I don't want the mark, father! I never have!" Emmalynn's wand hand started shaking and her father smirked at her.

"You couldn't curse me. You fear me..."

Shadow snarled at the man, showing her canines.

Zelda watched.

Emmalynn's glare intensified. "You wanna bet on that. daddy-dearest?" she sneered, her grip on her wand unwavering. She looked at the hate in her father's eyes and shouted, "Stupefy!" stunning Arcturus Malfoy. She turned to Alice.

"Will you go get the Headmaster?" she asked, her bravery ebbing away as she realized what she had done.

Shadow sensed Emmlaynn's worry and pushed her nose into the girl's hand again.
I'll help you if you need me." She said telepathically.

Shadow smiled wolfishly at Emmalynn.

Natalie got up from the tree with a yelp. She looked down to see a Bowtruckle where she had been sitting. It waved its time fist at her, and disappeared into a hole near the base of the tree.

"For such cute creatures, they are rather foul, but I can appreciate them, because without them, all are wand trees would be gone," sighed Natalie

Shadow wagged her tail slightly as Dorothy arrived, but then it went limp again at the headmaster's tone of voice.

"Um..." said Natalie, walking over to Emmalynn, "what just happened," she asked her causiously, for she did not want to upset her.

Emmalynn looked at Dorothy, "He's a Death Eater. They have their ways..." she said sadly. Her attention was turned to the girl who had just arrived.

"It doesn't matter anymore, but if you truly want to know, my father just tried to kidnap me in a sense..."

Ishida arrived at the scene, looking at the headmaster dragging a man away, and he noticed other students saying about death eater. "A death eater in the here.... OMG" he said and fainted...

Shadow raised a wolfish eyebrow as Ishida fainted.
"Some people have no idea..." She thought to herself.

After drinking the yellowlish thin liquid that Dorothy give him, he wake up and said "Sorry too scared of Death Eaters"

Shadow bit back a laugh,
If death eaters scare him... She quickly controlled her emotions, seeing his point of view.

Emmalynn sensed their fear and scoffed.

"You guys are scared? I live with two Death Eaters, my uncle is Voldemort's host, and I'm probably going to be kidnapped with the Dark Mark forced on me in the near future," she said, getting angry at her family.

Shadow flinched, knowing what that was like, but kept her mouth shut. She morphed quickly back to human form, drawing her hood over her face.

Shadow bit her lip, knowing that she had walked right into that one.
"Er... do you really want to know?"

Zelda walked away.

"Well, I need to read two more chapters as revision for exams, so I better get started again," said Natalie looking grim.

Shadow sighed.
"I suppose you know what my past was like in that respect..."

Shadow bowed her head,
"Sorry."

Natalie looked up.

"Are you two ok?" she asked, but realising it was probably personal, she looked back to her book, mortified.

Shadow glanced over at Natalie, biting her lip.

Natalie looked at Shadow, but didn't look her in the eye, and saw a certain sadness etched across her face.

Shadow quickly drew her hood over her face, realising that she was showing her emotions.

"I'm sorry," said Natalie quietly, so that only Shadow could here her, "do you want to come for a walk with me?"

Shadow shrugged.
"If you want." She said in a monotone.

"Ok," said Natalie, getting up from her spot and shaking the dirt off her skirt, "lets go."

Shadow stood next to Natalie, unsure of where the other girl wanted to go.

"Um, shall we go walk by the black lake..." said Natalie hopefully.

"OK." Shadow said, walking towards the lake.

Natalie followed.

"So, what subjects are you doing for N.E.W.T then?" asked Natalie, "I can't wait tell O.W.L year!"

"I don't really know." Shadow said.

"Bye Dorothy," Natalie said to her....she seemed to be saying it rather alot to Dorothy a late.

"A good place to study." S.master sat down under the tree. He pulled out some books. Behind the book,"..zZ "
