i lurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrved this movie.... it was really funny, had cry parts where u actually cry (i did) and william mosely is Hot. with a capital H.

i would give this a 10/10. the extras on the dvd were great, too. the bloopers and the "childrens magical journey" were sooooooooooooo funny.

I don't think they ripped off LOTR. I've read The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, and this adaptation stayed very faithful to the original text. CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien were good friends, and I believe they helped each other in their writing. Narnia was published first, IIRC, and yes there are similarities, but I think this stems from the fact that Lewis and Tolkien were friends.

Undeniably, there were some similarities between the two films - the location for one. But a film like Narnia needed a spectacular location, and NZ was perfect for it. The battle in Narnia did have LOTR overtones, but I can't see a way of them having done it in Narnia without people saying "they copied LOTR". Any fantasy film that comes out in the next few years will have the inevitable comparisons made to LOTR, simply because LOTR broke the mould, and was completely different to anything we'd seen before.

Having said all that, I really enjoyed the film, I thought it was great. And, I don't know about anyone else, but I thought the saddest part of the film was when they were at the train station at the beginning saying goodbye to their Mother. I don't know why, that just made me feel very sad lol.

I noticed some similarities between the two films as well, although it wasn't enough to detract from the greatness of the film. There is only so much films can do so I guess we should expect to see similarities.

lol i love narnia ive got it on dvd and the family is sick on me askin weather we can watch it on movie night.

Yes, Narina was a great movie! I went with my brother and my grandparents and they DID NOT FALL ASLEEP which is a miracle because they always do!!!

I would love to see a play of the lion witch and wardrobe - I can imagine the special effects on stage to be really spectacular. It would have to be to match up with the greatness of the film

I adore this film, its a classic. When I saw the previews I knew it was going to be good! I read the book and it was awesome.

I liked this movie alot...it was exactly how I imagined it when I read the book, which is quite rare..and Peter's character grew on me alot! lol

The first thing i do when i notice a movie forum is hunt down the thread for Narnia. I would have been very surprised if there hadn't been one. It is an absolute amazing movie and so sweet and magical, though the dvd extras are a bit weak. This movie has to be one of my all time favourite at the moment at least lol

I read this book when I was in fourth grade and I was soooo excited when the movie came out! I was like "Duude, I sooo wanna see that!" I dragged my friends to see it and they all loved it that we watched it again the next day!
