Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

When I first saw this movie, I only saw the part where the kids first get to the factory and are watching Wonko's weird show. I got so freaked out by the melting dolls that I turned it off but then my curiosity got the better of me and I watched the whole thing...and I loved it! ^^ It's so unique! I've never seen any movie like it before. I think Johnny Depp played Willy Wonka very well.

Who else has seen this movie?

Yeah, I'm talking about the new one. I think the old one's called Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and the new one's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I've seen the old one so many times and I love it. But this one's better, I think. The special effects are much better, obviously and I think Depp played Wonka better than that other dude. He was too old. Anyway, you should watch it. You'll love it...I hope.

this is on my top 10 movies list. FUNNY AS POO. johnny depp was so creepy and weird and michael-jackson-ish, he was soooooooooooooo good. hes really funny. elfie, its really awesome, and if not better, just as good as the original. go see it. buy it. its a really great movie.

But I loved the story and the songs, and all the actors are amazing. Johnny Depp is really good, and so is Freddie Highmore

I saw this when i was stying at a friends house. I thught it was great. Johnny Depp is great at playing Willy Wonka and the songs were amazing. My friends had all seen it before and fell asleep. I was the only one still awake when it finished. :D

Where did you read that people said Tim Burton wasn't s good as he usually is, I read a lot of critic of this film and it was all good, It was about Corpse Bride that he add this critic...

Well most of the comments I got were disappointed over this movie, not only because of the Tim Burton thing, but also because they prefered the original one.

It was funny. Depp was pretty good at playing Willy. But I really could not picture a blond haired Violet in my head. She looks weird, and it was a pretty bad acting job Anna did, so Violet seemed scary to me. I liked Veruca, Mike, and Charlie. The people who play them are very talented. THe movie was ok, it could of been better though.

i really love it when he goes "everything in this room is eatable, even i am eatable but that, children, is called cannibalism and is highly frowned upon in most societys"(sp?) that always cracks me up.

there's on thing about this film which i dont like and its his not being able to say parents - it makes no sense to me

He couldn't say parents was because his own dad was not much of a parent in his opinion... or something like that! :D His dad was a dentist and he never had the same childhood as the other kids cuz of his..... braces, and he wasn't supoortive and all that stuff, blahh blahh blaaaahh... and as he said at the end, when he told Charlie that he can't bring his family with him, his family would only be in his way and stuff.... i say he suffers of the PPS (Peter Pan Syndrome)... :D

This was funny and the type of movie that Depp should stick to playing. Keep him in this type of character and he's actually good.

Actually, in this movie Depp SCARED me. Because...well...you see...*shudders* he was like Michael Jackson!! O.O

But Depp is supposed to be scary! He's that way and so that's why he should be in movies like this and Edward Scissorhands. These roles are better.

In this movie he is scary but I like that they remade this movie. Hahaha Anyone want to go dive in the chocolate? I get hungry watching this movie. I like chocolate and you just want to have a bunch of it after you watch this movie.

I just saw the original, and I must say, I liked the original Charlie better than the new one... the original had cool hair :D

Another great movie, however Johnny Depp scares me in this movie.
