Should we have a poetry part in Creative Corner?

Hello,
I was exploring the site, and got to Creativity Corner. I was interested in this part, and noticed that there were threads for Fan Fiction, Photography, Graphics and Drawing, but not poetry.

What are your views on having a thread for poetry?

i might use a poetry thread, though it sort of already fits in with the Art, Drama, and Creative Writing section for classes..

Thats a good idea. I love to write myself and I also like songs to. but poetry is soething I would rather read and do then songs.

maybe we should give it a trail and then see how it goes? I don't mind writing poetry if i have to. so its not really for me... but other people are into that sort of thing i see no reason for a poetry thread not to be opened

I'm not that keen on adding another forum, but what we could do is add a poetry category to our fanfiction site - The Hogwarts Quill - where people could submit their poems.

We could then have a thread in the HQ forum on here where people can link to their poems.

I have to aree with Amy - I think that as poetry is part of writing we can arrange for the forum of the fanfiction and the efiction : Hogwarts Quill to have this on it

I've gone ahead and added a poetry category to HQ, read the announcement here.

I've also opened two threads for poetry discussion and promotion in the HQ forum.
