Welcome to the second creative writing class of the Hogwarts Experience

For this class you will need to write a short poem. It can cover anything you want to, though it must be no more than 4 verses, and must be of 12+ rating

Ooh, I like the topic, Elfie.

Here's a poem:

I see her,
Standing there,
Alone.
She reaches up,
And pulls her ashen hair into her face.

I watch her;
She who is already dead,
She who has already been
Marred and humiliated by the vicious doings
Of this cruel world.
She closes herself off from the world
Afraid to let anyone know of her internal pain,
And of her eternal suffering.

Silently,
She bears the mockings
Of the Indifferent.
Without question,
She plods on,
Never raising her own voice
To save herself,
Never thinking that maybe
Life doesn’t have to be this way,
Life doesn’t have to be so cruel,
Life doesn’t have to be so unbearably anguished.

Yet, still, she is blind and deaf,
Still, she remains trapped in the eternal grips
Of a life she never wanted
And still, she doesn’t know the way out.

Just so you know, I can't write poetry. Here it is anyway:

Werewolves

The majestic sky, so blue,
The wind rustling in the trees
Scares me, I don't know why.

The stars giving off the only light,
The moon so bright,
So round, so full...

And then! Like a deer caught in headlights,
A Werewolf, leering over me,
It lunges, it bites, I scream!

My scream rips through the night.
And now, that I'm a werewolf too,
I do not fear them like I used to.

Can't seem to find any way out
No doors or windows
Not even a single wall to stop me.

Darkness is all I see
And yet I can still roam free
No depth or light
Not even any direction

How can I find my way?
Where am I in this space?
All alone in the cold.
No one out there to help me find my way.

I feel like I'm falling
But I'm not going anywhere.
Will there ever be light?
Will I ever find my way?

I'm stranded
In never ending time.
I'm crying out for help
And there's no one that can hear me.

I am here but I am nowhere
I am far but I am near
No sense.
Nothing.

Okay heres the poem I wrote in Algebra instread of doing my work XD

Choices:

Lately I've had to pick
between what I've been given and what I had
and really its making me sick
choosing between the old and the new
it makes me feel blue.

Trying to decide
who to hang with and trust
asking only one part of me to reside
but who am I to choose
either way I lose.

It makes me wonder
why all this has to happen
why my head is full of this blunder
so I'll just do the right thing
and see how many I can bring.

Still the question stays
going through my head continuously
filling up my days
Yet, I ask one person, me
can i choose between who I was and who I can be?

There's a girl in the mirror, smiling back at me!
Hiding the tears I know she has in her eyes,
Telling stories of lullabies and good-byes.
And the closer I look, the more I can see;
The innocent little girl she used to be.
And her fake smiles are all little white lies,
Because I know when she is alone, she cries,
Just praying for the day when she'll be free.

Sometimes - - I will wonder who she really is - -
And other times I think I already know.
As she stands there and stares at me, face inert.
Wondering, if anyone knows she exists.
With eyes bloodshot red, and her face of snow;
She whispers back at me, that these smiles hurt.

ok itsd short... it dosnt really rhyme.. it probably wont make sense to you and yeah heres my poem...

I sit and stare at the empty walls
wondering where everyone has gone
I sit and stare
wondering where my life went

Wondering when our love was spent

wondering how the days will go by
I sit and stare
wondering why I cry

thinking about my life
I sit and stare at the walls around me

Silence a whisper, a halting voice
A chance to renew and make a choice,
They stand apart the rest all as one,
A magical journey has barely begun,

They start out as heros, but will meet their fate
their life is guarded by a gate.
the roses are dead thorns in their place
No happiness or joy is seen on their face.

Saddness is found, Gayness fades,
A red changes to many blue shades,
It's over it's done
Nothing is left, all is gone,

In the darkness his cry reaches out to me
I can feel his pain
See his tears
Feel his warm soft breath on the back of my neck.

And in the darkness i can sense him near to me
Longing to speak
Urging me to hear his words
Waiting for me to listen.

And then the light comes
And he is gone from my side
And my thoughts
Any words he has spoken to me, forgotten as the sun rises

I know in the light he is waiting
For the Darkness to engulf me in its depths
For his chance to be with me
Another chance to communicate with me, from beyond the grave.

An Angel

And an angel will fly,
There’s no need to cry,
We’ll see her again someday

She’ll put on her wings,
And the whole world will sing,
“We’ll see her again someday!”

We’ll remember our happy times,
Cut off her earthly binds,
We’ll see her again someday

No one will frown,
There will be smiles all around,
Because we’ll see her again someday

And she’ll finally fly away,
But she’ll always be in our hearts to stay,
We’ll see her again someday

(I made this when I heard of a girl in our school that had cancer. She died a couple weeks ago.. I never sent her this poem though, because she was still battling cancer, and it was too depressing, you know?)

I Don't Know

I dont know why you look at me.
When we pass in the halls, you wink
my way. If I'm by myself, you come near,
but when my friends come you disappear.

I dont know why your friends look at me.
They mention your name about 5,000 times
and I find myself wondering why.

I dont know why I actually look forward to
your awkward stares or great bear hugs.
When we're alone together, my heart races
and my stomach flip flops

I dont why you always seach me out
when there are other girls ten times
better looking. Yet, you don't seem
to care and still come talk to me

I don't' know if this is chemistry brewing
or just a really strong friendship

I don't know if there is more meaning behind
your smiles

I don't why there are strong connections
between me and you

I don't know why we pass notes, talk on the
phone or message eachother everyday

But I do know I sure as hell don't want you to stop

most people would give anything not to feel
i would give anything to feel again
i feel no happiness or no sadness
i feel no pleasure no pride
i feel emptyness and plain
i feel numb

numb to the bone through the skin
numb to the eyes that always stay dry
numb to my parents who fought me to this place
numb to the world i could have had if
i wasnt so numb to begin with

some people would give anything to not to cry
i would give anything to cry
i have no tears left for them
the people that i once loved
i have no tears for peoples death
i have no tears for myself
I have no tears left to cry
when i should

i have my fake smile
i paint it on everyday
i dont want to people to know the pain of me
i dont want love cause it can fall
i dont want happiness cause it doesnt last long
i dont want people cause they can be rude
and lastly i dont want you to know how numb i am

Through the Veil:

Amazed she stood,
Not Bearing to see,
What was now lost,
could never truely be,

Unable to admit,
she was in love,
but now he's gone not to return,
He's all alone up and above,
safly in heven,
Where angels dwell,
Her heart still goes with him,
But she's living in hell,

With out his shoulder without his voice,
how will she choose?
Make a Choice?
She can't stand it no more,
She's going to die,
but no one around her,
will tear or cry,

Cast ago when none were around,
A witch cast a spell,
Now her heart and mind,
Go up through the Veil.

It's sad At least I think so. I also loved everyones poems too.

Reasoning with love
Can it be done

For is love wild?

Anticipation of falling
Is it real?
No simple ending to pain
All comes with a price.

Longivity, a simple word?
Or longer than the letters
Forgotten in time?
Time is only a state of mind.

Eternity, a carefully crafted plan?
Life is born and dies away.
There's nothing easy about it
So, is it really eternity?

We see many disenheartened muggles
Witches and wizards are fortunate indeed

The muggles are lost
They don't know the way

Here goes! Creative Writing: Poetry 436937

I saw him for the last time today
Saw him smile, then turn away
And all that's left is an aching pain
In my heart--my soul is slain

I say I'll forgive, but then again
Why should I? I didn't run away
From my duties, no, nor ever will
He's gone forever, oh love, be still!

I heard he passed last week at home
The wandering menace ne'er more to roam
I can't be happy, nor yet be sad
He was the first love I ever had.
