Filch was sitting at his desk. Mrs. Norris was at his feet. He didn't know that some students were about to pull a prank on him.

"Im hungry too," she said thoughtfully, and conjured a slushie out of thin air with her wand.
"Slushie?" she offered to the crowd.

"Once you meditate." Raven muttered to Shadow under her breath.
"I have other things to do." Shadow replied in the same tone.
"Yes, but your mind looks worse than a pigsty."

Holly glanced from one to the other, sipping away at her slushie.
"Did you send a message to Jamie?" she asked Shadow, "Did he know you were in danger?"

"I couldn't. The barrier stopped me sending messages to other minds. Because of Raven and I being sisters, and the fact that we live in each other's minds as much as we do in our own, she could see what was going on." Shadow explained.
