The posts can begin on Monday 21st April - not before!
and will end on Friday 25th April - 5 days of rpg posting!

When you post - please put your position and team (eg. Gryffindor Beater) in brackets before you begin the RPG post - otherwise your post will be void of any points!

Weather: The skies are cloudy, and there's a possibility of rain. It might brighten up later, though.

Remember to observe the new Quidditch rules: day one is for arriving to the pitch, after which the referee will post and the game can properly begin and chasers can no longer immediately state that they have scored. They must wait for the Keeper to post. See this post for more info.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Gemma sat on the window sill of her Slytherin dorm, her thoughts running free as she listened to the small noises coming from her sleeping dormmates Kay and Cat. She hadn't slept all night, unable to get over the tension that had slowly emerged inside of her lately. It didn't have any connections to school in general or the particular Quidditch match she had to face soon, yet she was anxious about messing up due to a lack of sleep and concentration. However, it was too late now to return to sleep, and the weather she had observed quietly worried her: There were just way too many clouds out there, and it was impossible to judge whether or not it would rain soon. Sighing, Gemma got up and decided to wake up Cat, the Captain of the team, first. She would be able to decide if they would better train in the unpleasant setting a little more than they usually did.

Well, I hope I can at least take advantage of my restless night when it comes to moves, I did after all have numerous hours to come up with some! And now I shall lighten up my mood, seeing as I won't lighten up the weather anytime soon...

Having fun with waking people up wasn't so easy, though, seeing as she wanted to give Kay the possibility to stay asleep, no need to make the Banana rise earlier than necessary. Finally Gemma came up with the - admittedly not too creative - idea of tickling her Little Nut until she couldn't help but come to life or fall out of her bed. Giggling slightly she foremost decided to raid her sugar stock, pouring the content of several pixie stix down as she always did when serious tasks where ahead [and yes, that does make sense!], next resolving to bouncing towards Kitty's bed and to jumping onto it, her fingers poking and tickling all over the sleepy figure beneath her.

Ooops, seems the carbohydrates have come home alreadyyyy!, she laughed to herself and continued on her waking-up mission, already half-planning the warmimg up she would subject herself to once on the pitch.

(Ravenclaw Keeper)

Polly bade her way towards the changing rooms the familiar view sending a smile across her face. As she was walking she gazed up at the sky the clouds ahead taunted her with the possability of rain. "Please don't rain." she begged the skys before stepping into the changing rooms.

Inside the changing rooms the damp smell of before wafted up into her nose wrinkling it in disgust she began to undress herself pulling on her Ravenclaw quidditch uniform. She had finally gotten round to washing it only to find that it had a small whole under the armpit how that had happened she had little clue. With her clothes on Polly walked up to the mirror grimcing at her reflection. She looked tired and gaunt her eye bags permently prominent. Perhaps she should not have stayed up so late the night before. Stifling a yawn she moved on to doing her hair. Normally Polly wore her hair in a pony as to keep it of her face but this time she had backcombed it all so it stuck out in a wild mass of hair about her head. Grinning at it she grabbed the hair spray from her bag spraying it over and fluffing it in the process. The end result was a back combed sticky hair style. But that was not the reason she had back combed her hair. Pulling from her bag Polly produced a small crown and attached it into her hair using hair crips. Smiling at that Polly began to apply her make-up. Her usually eye-liner, lip gloss and mascara added with the large face patterns she was now drawing across her face. Long silver lines ran down each cheek, her eye-liner over extended making swirling patterns around her eyes.

Turning towards the mirror she smiled at the words written on the back instead of her last name and player number it now read QUEEN POLLY in pink sparkles shinning brightly. Every five minutes her robe would flash brightly and the words would appear to pop of her robe. Grinning at the effect of it all Polly grabbed her broom and headed for the pitch.

Stepping out onto the grounds Polly braced herself for the embarressment, quidditch was all about fun and by doing this Polly had tried to make it fun but some people might start laughing at her eccentric out look. Waving up at the Ravenclaw stands she smiled at the people who had already gathered around to watch the game. Although it was at the very beginning there were many people gathered around and Polly saw a few of them squinting to see what was written on her robe.

Placing her broom in between her legs Polly kicked of from her ground and felt her crown shift out of place her stiff hair lessen. The familar feeling sweot through her as she breathed in the cool hair around her. Soaring over to her position she took her usual place in the middle of the scoring area. She felt comfotable her like it was a second home to her. Waving at the crowd she noticed that most of their attention was still drawn towards her, pulling out her wand she held it up high and watched as the pink fire works erupted from her wand saying Her Majesty QUEEN POLLY Queen of all Queens. and with the second burst of fire works came the words RA..RA..RAVENCLAW Polly felt extremly proud of the out come. The reasons he was so tired was due to the fact she had spent most of the prevous night perfecting this out look and unfortunatly had not had time to tell her team mates about the idea. She was hoping they would pick up on it and she would not be the only one acting foolish throughout the game.

Looking around to see if any of her friends were here she noticed that only gemma from the slytherins were here. Smiling lightly at the opposing chaser she began the wait until her team mates and opponents arrived so the real quidditch could begin. Not that waiting was a problem as she had her wand and a few more tricks prepaired.

(Slytherin Chaser/Acting Captain for the Time Being [aka ACftTB])

Jessie tied up her hair as she ran, her new broom she recieved for her birthday almost two months ago squeezed in the inside of her elbow. Once the brown curls were tied securely on top of her head, she pulled the green chaser gloves out of her back pocket (almost dropping the broom) and pulled them onto her hands. Stretching her fingers as she ran, she grasped the broom out of the pit of her elbow and made a mad dash the rest of the way to the pitch. She had gotten so used to oversleeping and appearing at games late, it was almost second nature to run all the way to the pitch without looking at a clock.

She emerged in the open air, the skies predicting rain, and bent over with her hands on her knees, trying to catch her breath. When her breathing returned to normal she finally looked up and saw the stands were strangely… empty. She scrunched up half of her face as if mentally saying “Huh?” (which she did) before looking down at her watch and seeing that the game hadn’t even officially started yet. Smooth move.

She took a deep breath, almost deciding to turn back and get some sleep but figured with her luck by the time she got to the dorms she would just have to turn back. Jessie noticed the only other person around was Ravenclaw keeper, Polly. She wasn’t too familiar with her, they had chatted briefly before but as far as Jessie could remember they had never played each other.

Jessie straddled her broom, and pushed up off the ground. As she did the first warm-up lap, she leaned forward and crossed her ankles, bringing them so they were parallel with the broom. She completed three full laps before she pulled over to the side, catching her balance and waiting for my teammates to arrive.

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

With the cloudy skies threatening rain above her, Elana quickly ducked into the Ravenclaw locker room to change into her gear. Hoping that the rain wouldn't fall, she got into her Quidditch robes and guards, and took her beloved Regina from her locker. She kissed her gloved fingertips and patted her also beloved Phoebe, who was sadly sitting out for the season. Having switched to Chaser, it was only rarely during practice that she got her Beater's Bat out, just when they needed an extra hand. She lightly shut her locker and pulled her hair up into a ponytail before propping her broom up on her shoulder and heading out onto the pitch.

At her first glance about the pitch, one thing struck her as peculiar - but not bad! There was now an even amount of players in the air, but that's not what she had noticed. Grinning, Elana swung a leg over her broom and kicked off, heading immediately towards the Ravenclaw goals. "Nice work, Polly," she called to their Keeper, nodding to the fireworks. Noting the sparkles on Polly's back, she added, "That looks great, too! Hey...d'you think you could quick change mine to say 'Lady Elana' in a light blue color? I didn't think to bring my wand out," she said, chuckling. As her fellow Ravenclaw did, Elana looked around the stands to see a fair turnout of Ravenclaw blue from their supporters. She took a look upwards, biting her bottom lip. The clouds had darkened since she had stumbled into the locker room, now a dark grey. She sighed and looked over her shoulder to see if Polly had finished, and her lips broke out into a grin again. "Thanks, hon!" she said. "Should probably get into position...see you soon!" She flew over to hover at the center of the pitch, anxiously waiting for the referee to arrive and release the balls.

(Slytherin Chaser)

As was usual for her, Gemma quickly got impatient when Cat didn't react to her waking-up craziness at once, so she got up from the bed of her friend and bounced over to her wardrobe, swiftly checking the possibilities of dressing she had. Picking some casual, Slytherin-colored things and putting them on she checked her watch. It had gotten slightly later now, and it seemed they should really get to practicing judged by the deep grey colour of the skies outside the window. Checking again on Cat and noticing she did look kind of sick, Gemma went over to Kay's bed instead, pondering as she walked which surprise would have the best effects. She came to the conclusion of going with the classic style, whipped out her wand and conjured a splash of water from its tip, using the Aguamenti Charm. She tried getting the water all over her friend and in her face especially, hoping it was cold enough to make her jerk up and get her butt to the pitch quickly. After all, she herself needed warming up and didn't feel like waiting any longer.

"Kay you lazy bum! Get up now and come to the pitch!"

She added this as she additionally jumped onto Banana's bed before picking up her Quidditch robes and broom and skidding towards the Great Hall for a quick grab of random food, which ended up being toast. Munching on it, she continued over to the pitch praying for the clouds to disappear and the sun to blaze. And hoping that there would be a good amount of Slytherins in the stands to motivate her flying. There needed to be Slytherins, that was, since she had come up with too nice chants the previous night, that couldn't have been a useless waste of time!

She hummed as she quickened her pace, jogging towards the pitch now that her nimble breakfast had found its end. However as soon as she entered the locker room she tensed up again sensing the smell of sweat and victory. She couldn't be unprepared for this game, she couldn't do bad. She sat down and took a deep breath. Staying calm and alert was the deal for today, and she would pull it of with ease. She put on her robes and gear, put her hair into the standard messy bun with any loose strands secured by bobbypins. Then she imagined the trickling feeling that always ran throughout her body once a goal had been scored by her team. She would make sure this feeling would be there often today!

Now somewhat more optimistic Gemma stepped out of the locker rooms and onto the pitch, gazing at those who were already there. She saw a Chaser and a Keeper of the opposing team as well as Jessie, on of her fellow Chasers. Ignoring the attention-grabbing Ravenclaws with all their know-it-all attitude about charmed robes she mounted her broom, clinging to the handle and flying up into the air. The rather cold, slightly damp air hit her square in the face and she enjoyed the soothing feeling coming with it. A small smile appeared on her face and she stretched it into a grin as she closed the distance between her and the other Slytherin.

"Hey Jessie, nice to see somebody around already. Looking forward to an adventurous game? I mean you know what craziness you are subjected to with me and Ban- erm, Kay as your Chaser mates, don't you? Surely Kitty told you about our very special mind works? Speaking of Kay, it seems she is rather sick, so would you mind being our Captain in case she won't show up? After all I take it you have the most experience of all our team, or isn't that right?"

Her quick-fire questions slowly subsided and she sucked in another deep breath that was now well needed. Next thing she knew her hand was wandering to the candy pocket she had sewn into the robe, but that one was for emergency so she slapped her own eager hand and set it back onto the handle of her broom.
"Now you stay where you are!", she mumbled before glancing around to see whether anybody had witnessed her little mad encounter with her own limb.

(slytherin Seeker)

Katherine nervously pulled on her robes in the locker room. It was her first game of they term, and she was subbing for Cat as seeker. She hoped she did okay. Although, she could never be as good as Cat. But she ould try. Katherine grabbed her broom, a Nimbus 2000, and walked out onto the pitch.

(Slytherin Keeper)
Violet rolled over in her bed, her alarm clock going off. ‘Thank God I remember to set this thing.’ Violet thought. Getting up, she walked over to the window to see the weather out side. ‘Urgh, it looks like it’s going to rain. Oh well’
Violet got dresses in her uniform and put her hair up. Grabbing a pony tail and firebolt, she walked down stairs to the great hall to get some food before the game. Walking in there, she grabbed a piece of toast and walked outside, eating her toast on the way. Violet looked around and saw Gemma.

“Hello Gemma, looks like its you and me for now. I wonder if ALL of Ravenclaw will come this time?” Violet asked. . Violet rocked back and forth on her heels as more people started to come in. “I’m bored, when is this game going to start?” Violet asked. Violet put her hair up her pony tail, out of boredness.

[Slytherin Chaser]

The breeze was blowing her sun dress around as she skipped through a meadow of wild flowers. Giggling happily Kaylee looked behind her to see the most beautiful boy she'd ever seen chasing after her, with a smile plastered from ear to ear. Once he reached her he playfully tackled her to the ground and they began rolling around giggling and kissing. Then that beautiful smile spread across his face and he began to speak, "Kaylee you are the most...." Before he even finished suddenly the meadow suddenly was submerged in water and she was fighting to breathe.

Sitting straight up coughing from all the water she inhaled she realized that she was soaked, and looked around just in time to see Muf-er-Gemma running out the door with her quidditch gear in tow. "Man thats the second game that I've gotten woken up in a crappy way. And this time she messed up the best dream ever!" Scratching her head she then proceeded to yawn, stretch and then sit up.

"I wonder what he was going to say? Probably that I'm the craziest person he's ever known, that's what most boys seem to say to me anyways." At this she began giggling to herself until she noticed how wet she really was, "Man she really got me good, next game it's my turn. I'll stay up all night if I have to, speaking of I need my morning pick me up."

Leaning over to her night stand Kaylee opened up the top drawer and ripped open a handful of pixie sticks and downed them all in one swallow. She then threw away the wrappers in the trash bin beside her stand and then proceeded to take out her candy rations for the game. "Last time Gemma needed quite a bit of pick me ups, perhaps I should bring extra just in case. Maybe I'll bring triple rations since Jessie is playing with us this match, she might need some sugar as well." Kaylee mumbled as she pulled out three rations of sugar for the game.

Now a normal person would only need maybe one or two pixie sticks - chocolate bars - Taffy bars to wake them up, but Gemma and Kaylee are a species of sugar high freaks. They can't live with out their hourly sugar rations. And since Kaylee didn't know any better, she could only assume that Jessie may be close to the same.

Standing up and walking over to her dresser she noticed a note from Cat, "I'm not feeling well - please don't try to wake me up. I've already made all of the proper arrangements, Katherine will be stepping in to play seeker this match. And Jessie will be my stand in as Captain." Once Kay finished reading she made a soft 'awe' sound and proceeded to get ready as quietly as possible.

Sliding on her now lucky batman pajamas Kaylee smiled as she smelled the just cleaned aroma that was coming from the pj's. Pulling her long black and blond hair into two long pigtails, and cast the spell to keep her hair into place. She had left her broom and uniform down in the locker rooms after the last practice so she didn't have to worry to much about forgetting anything other than the sugar supply.

Giggling softly Kaylee tip-toed over to Cats bed and gave her a soft peck on the cheek. "I hope you feel better, get lots of rest. And here's some sugar just in case you wake up and need some." Kaylee whispered as she laid Cats sugar supply for the game on the bed next to her and made her way out of the dorm room.

Skipping as she made her way from the dungeons and into the great hall. She smiled at the giggles about her pajamas as she grabbed some toast and a quick glass of pumpkin juice. Still smiling she jumped up on top of the dining table and did a quick bow and a spin to make sure that everyone got a good look and then ran out of the Great Hall and out the front doors.

As she ran to the locker room she began to whole heartily laugh at the spectacle she had just made of herself. Once she was in she pulled on all of her pads, gloves and robes. Then she pulled out her trusty nimbus 2001, kissed it on the handle and said, "Ready Gadget? Lets have a good match you hear?" Then she took the final step and shoved all of the sugar rations minus one laffy-taffy bar into her pockets.

With a smile now plastered from ear to ear Kaylee made her way out onto the pitch with Gadget in one hand and a cherry flavored laffy-taffy in the other. In a sudden move she shoved what was left of the taffy in her mouth and mounted her broom. Doing her best not to drool with her mouth full of candy she did a double take at the opposing teams keeper."What in the bloody-hell does she think she's doing? She can't be serious?" She mumbled to herself as she flew over and hovered next to Gemma.

Swallowing what was left of her taffy she leaned over side ways tilting her head to the side and continued to look at the Ravenclaw keeper like she'd just lost her marbles. "So do either of you know what the deal with this spectacle is? Is she trying to steal our title of being the nutters around here or what? I may be delusional enough to believe that there's an invisible spider monkey on my back, but I'm not delusional enough to believe myself royalty."

As she started to laugh who heartily she looked around the pitch and gave quick nods to both Violet and Katherine. "Jessie, it will be nice to finally play a match with you. Thanks so much for stepping in and managing stuff while Cat is out sick as well." Once she finished smiling and speaking to Jessie, Kaylee returned to her confused expression as she staired at the 'queen' keeper.

(Referee)

Amy flew onto the pitch, glancing nervously up at the gathering clouds. She hoped that the downpour held off long enough for the game to finish.

She lifted the lid of the crate containing the Quidditch balls, and the snitch and bludgers flew off into the air. She Tucked the quaffle beneath her arm and kicked off into the air. Once she was flying, the teams surrounding her, she blew the whistle and tossed the ball into the air.

"Let the match begin!"

(Slytherin Seeker)
Katherine kicked off hard and flew up into the air. She was so ready for this game to begin! This was going to be a blast! But she was scared. Well, too late now! she hovered for a second, looking for the snitch. This was going to be one of her bigest challeges yet...

(Slytherin Keeper)
Violet eyes widen and she threw her toast on the ground. Throwing a leg over her Firebolt, she flew up to her post. ‘No way am I letting another quaffle in.’ Violet thought. She noticed a new girl there and wondered why Kat wasn’t there. ‘Maybe she is sick.’ Violet thought and shrugged her shoulders and watched the game. She hoped that Slythein got the quaffle first and it would be easier for them. A loud rumble erupted from her stomach and she glared. ‘Hush now, I ate some toast, you shouldn’t be hungry.’ Violet thought and flew in front of the middle post so they didn’t think she was stupid and didn’t know what to do.
Violet looked up and glared more. ‘Stupid weather. I mean…I love you.. Please don’t rain on me.’ Violet though as she heard some thunder. Violet signed and looked at Polly from across the pitch. She looked tough, and Violet wondered rather the chaser would be able to get pass her or no. ‘Of course they can, we have the best chasers ever’ Violet though. Violet laid her head down on her broomstick and huffed. ‘This game is going to be long.’ Violet though as another rumble from her stomach and the sky was heard. Violet glared

[Slytherin Chaser]

After looking at the spectacle Polly was making of her self for a couple of minutes Kaylee forced her self to pay attention to the happenings on the pitch. Really looking around for the first time she noticed how crappy of a day it was outside. Shrugging slightly she ripped open two pixie sticks and downed them. "I'm going to need all the energy I can get if the sky opens up and decides to soak us." She mumbled as she shoved the wrappers into the other pocket on her quidditch robes.

Still looking around Kaylee noticed the referee walking out onto the pitch below. One quick glance around the pitch told her just what she expected, that everyone was still preoccupied with the birdies keepers shrine. "Works out perfectly for me, besides they seem to only have one chaser on the field and she doesn't seem to be paying much attention either." She mumbled as she waited to swoop in and catch the quaffle as soon it was released.

"Wait for it, wait for it. If I move to quickly it will startle the preoccupied opposing players, so I need to wait until it's up in the air and there's no chance of her reaching it first." Kaylee continued as she continued to look around the pitch. She noticed that only two other players seemed to be paying attention to the referee, Katherine and Violet. "Well at least we are all on the same team. It might be horrid luck if one of those birdies was actually paying attention."

Kaylee continued to mumble to herself, she knew this wouldn't be to distracting since everyone had sort of become accustomed to her talking to herself. But the thing was, she wasn't really talking to herself, she was talking to Fred, her pet spider monkey. Now just because no one else can see him doesn't mean that he isn't real.

Watching with a keen eye she spotted the quaffle and then in a low whisper said, "Lets get to it, what do you say Fred." And he responded with a resounding pat on the head letting her know he was ready to go for the gold. Just like that she leaned down, crossed her legs and took off at full speed right towards the quaffle. "Has anyone noticed Fred?" He responded this time with two taps, which meant no. Smiling from ear to ear she responded, "Good, we don't want any of the interfering with us now do we?" Again two taps. "Your viscous Fred, just one of the many reasons why I love you."

Before Fred could even respond Kaylee reached out her arm and grasped her fingers around that lovely red ball. "We've got it now Fred, lets get back over to the girls and see if we can't pull off some sort of grand opening move." This time Fred didn't tap or anything but she knew he agreed. As she flew back over to Gemma and Jessie she tucked the quaffle in, maybe the opposing team didn't see her, and just maybe if she kept the quaffle hidden well enough they could take the birdies by surprise.

Once she reached her destination she was facing towards Violet with her back toward the two opposing Ravenclaws. Gemma and Jessie were both still facing towards Polly watching the spectacle before them. "So girls I happen to be in possession of this pretty, shiny, happy little red ball. Any ideas one what I should do with it?"

[Slytherin Beater]

Shadow woke up that morning to see her owl sitting right in front of her eyes. Once she had calmed down again, she grabbed the scroll on its leg and read it quickly. She glanced at the clock.
"Holy... !!!!!!!!!!!" She shouted. She had been called for the match and was late. Pulling on her quidditch robes as fast as she could, grabbing her broom and beater's bat, she sprinted towards the pitch, pulling her long hair into a tight plait and cursing all the way.

Once on the pitch, she mounted her broom and kicked off, savouring the feeling of being airborne again before shouting her apology to the captain and beginning her search for a bludger. She was in a fairly bad mood already because of the wake up call and wanted to take it out on some poor Ravenclaw.

(Ravenclaw Keeper)

After changing the back of Elana's robes to say 'LADY ELANA' in light blue Polly had been in a bit of a day dream. Slytherin were in posetion of the ball. Shifting her bum slightly on her broom Polly hoped that the other Ravenclaw's would soon arrive. The chasers passed the quaffle between them as Polly felt her beart begin to beat faster.

She loved the adrenline rush this gave her but she also wanted Ravenclaw to win. Brining her wand up in the air Polly shot another blast of fire works into the air. Hoping to distract the chasers in order to allow the Ravenclaw chasers a chance to obtain the quaffle.

(Slytherin Chaser)

As Gemma had waited for Jessie to answer her questions, she had zoned out slightly and only distinctly noticed another Slytherin come to the pitch. However as soon as she noticed that this other person was in fact Katherine, she snapped out of her usual trance. Was she the reserve Seeker? Would that mean Cat really wouldn't turn up anytime soon? Those questions ran through her mind as she scowled at the fact of the match being played by a not-perfect banana only muffin. Next thing she knew, their Keeper, Violet, was next to her, talking about them being the only Slytherins on the pitch so far.

Huh? Won't she acknowledge the fact that Jessie is here with us? Or have I been imagining things? Well let's check - nope, I definitely see Jessie right here next to me. And us Trio girls thoughts we were loony? And Violet kept talking about the madness of the Huffies last match? Duh she should better check on herself!

Gemma didn't mean to be evil, but the words had weirded her out. She smiled slightly at her teammate and chose not to answer, simply shrugging her shoulders and taking another look at what was going on around her. The weather still hadn't gotten any better [of course not too much time had passed, but still!] and everything else also seemed to be quite the same. It stayed that boring for a while, but finally something happened - and Gemma had to laugh hard, really hard. Kay was walking out of the locker rooms, grinning like a lunatic, and she wore the same batman pajamas she had also played the former match in. It was times like this that she was absolutely confident about having been right to dub this girl the Crazed Banana! As her wifey came up to her and the rest, she wanted to greet her happily, however the words she spilled made it so hard to contain her laughter that she couldn't seem to speak any more.

"So do either of you know what the deal with this spectacle is? Is she trying to steal our title of being the nutters around here or what? I may be delusional enough to believe that there's an invisible spider monkey on my back, but I'm not delusional enough to believe myself royalty."

Oh yeah, Banana, because that's soo much more sane, hell yeah, what are they thinking? Oh my God it's fascinating - I never even knew about that monkey. But I guess I better really not say anything about it, we don't want to end up fighting over traitors or levels of craziness or whatever, I still need to warm up after all!

However, her well-planned period of warming up never occurred as the referee entered the pitch that very second, carrying the precious Quaffle and those dangerous Bludgers. She felt excitement run through her veins - the game was finally going to start. Tiredness, anxiety, everything vanished and all she was aware off was the shiny red ball that was being tossed into the air. She felt as if she was part of a movie, with things happening in slow motion. Only when Kay suddenly took towards the referee and the Quaffle did Gemma snap out of her imaginary scenery, back into the quick-flying reality. That had to be the last dreamy thing until the end of the game, she swore that to herself. Instead she watched carefully as her teammate closed in on the ball, mumbling things to herself as if she was conversing with somebody who couldn't be seen. Fred! This had to be her first encounter of the game with the spider monkey she had been talking about.

Wow, this girl…., she thought and continued observing her on the broom, trying to memorize ever move so one day she'd be perfect on her own broom as well. Kay had now gotten her hands on the red ball they desired so much and brought it were it belonged, to the gathered Slytherin Chasers, having it tucked in securely and hidden from the Acheronian Ravenclaws wanting to get their greedy hands on it. They wouldn't stand a chance, no way. As Kay asked whether there were any ideas on what to do with their nouveau possession, besides the obvious scoring of course, Gemma set her mind to work and started recalling various manoeuvres she had excogitated the foregoing night. They had to eliminate the feasibility of Ravenclaw participating in the game other than abortively chasing them and trying in vain to keep their attempts at scoring.

[Slytherin Beater]

Dorothy sighed into her pillow. She was having the most wonderful dream, she was flying on her broom. Flying... Uh, oh.
"QUIDDITCH!" She screeched, and jumped out of bed, pulling on her Quidditch robes while running down the stairs. She picked up her trusty broom and and rushed out onto the pitch. She knew she looked like an idiot, but that didn't matter. After stuttering a garbled apology to her captain, she speed off to chase after a bludger. She spotted Shadow and winked.
"Allright, Shadow?" She said, but she wasn't sure if she'd heard her, the wind could've blown away her words.

Turning away, she looked around for a Birdie player. She saw the keeper and grinned. If she could knock a bludger to the Ravenclaw keeper, at least to distract the keeper, then maybe a Slytherin Chaser could get a goal.

Smiling evilly to herself, she chased the bludger closest to the Ravenclaw goalposts.

[Slytherin Beater]

Shadow was scanning the pitch for a bludger when she spotted Dorothy coming on. Nodding in acknowledgment at her fellow beater, she resumed her search. She had a plan forming in her mind as she saw that Dorothy had streaked after a bludger near the Ravenclaw goal hoops.
"Shall we knock some birds out of the air?" She asked, flying alongside Dorothy. She ducked as the other bludger nearly took her head off, and then grinned. She had evil plans in her mind now.
"Shall we try a two-pronged attack?" Shadow said. Without waiting for an answer, she streaked off after the bludger.

[Slytherin Beater]

As Shadow approached, she gave a little wave.

Quote :

"Shall we knock some birds out of the air?"

"That's what we're here for!" She replied with a smile.

The the bludger that nearly took Shadow's head off almost knocked Dorothy off her broom.
Shadow sped after it, and Dorothy flew towards the other bludger. She neared it, but all of a sudden, it changed direction and went for Dorothy. She didn't have time to lift her bat - another second and her nose would've resembled a lumpy potato.

She gripped her broom so tight her knuckles were white. She spun on her broom and hung there, for how long she didn't know. All the blood was rushing to her head and she felt dizzy. She righted herself and chased after the bludger as if nothing had happened.

{Ravenclaw Seeker and Co-Captain}

Rigby had been up in her dorm room, listening to David Cook on her iPod and packing for upcoming cruise. She was just about to switch to her Jimmy Buffett playlist when it suddenly occured to her that a quidditch game was in progress. A Ravenclaw/Slytherin quidditch game. With a rush of very unlady like expletives, Rigby had hurried to the Ravenclaw locker rooms where she was now frantically searching for her seeker gloves.

She found one crumpled up under a book of poetry that she hadn't gotten around to reading yet. She threw it on her left hand, feeling very Michael Jacksonish. Her locker mess was getting out of control again, and she flipped through books, partially eaten power bars and empty cd cases. She squealed with delight when she found the missing glove wedged at the bottom of one of her winter boots. Triumphantly she wiggled into it, then grabbed her broom.

Rigby glanced back at the ruins of her locker, knowing she would have to clean it up after the game. That is if she hadn't already missed Slytherin catching the snitch. She ran and jumped on her broom, zooming through the tunnels and bursting out onto the pitch. A quick look at the sitituation told her that she wasn't the only Raven not on the field.

She took off for higher ground, determined to work hard to catch the snitch for her team. She didn't say hi to anyone, feeling embarressed for being so late. Rigby was hoping to fly fast, do as much damage to the Slytherin team as possible, and get the extra points for the snitch catch. However, there were so many missing Ravenclaws. Rigby put two fingers in her mouth and let out an earsplitting whistle.

So much for going unoticed.

Within seconds Jerome, a school owl Rigby used often, came to her, wings flapping furiously. Rigby gave a sheepish smile to Elana and Polly. She dug out a pen and slip of paper from her quidditch robes. Scribbling out a message to her MIA teammates, she tied it to Jerome's ankle.

"You peck them until they read the note, got it, Jerome?" she asked. The owl hooted in response, but it sounded affirmative to Rigby. Off the gray owl flew, and Rigby turned her attention to snitch searching. Just where was that shiny golden orb hiding?

(Ravenclaw Beater and Captain)

::Jessica finally finished her last box. Moving wasn't much fun, and she started to despise trying to put everything back in its place. She noticed off in the distance her broom and beaters bat propped up in the corner. Screaming she realized that game had started.

What was she going to do? She clearly was really late. Grabbing her bat and broom she headed off, trying to find the fastest way to the dueling arena.

When she entered she noticed that she wasn't to late, and she jumped on her broom and headed out to find some bludgers.

(Slytherin Keeper)
Violet sat on her broom, wondeering if anything would happen. Huffing she sat back, her back on a goal post. "Come one, its a new match adn no one came to the last one. Where is everyone?" She asked out loud."I know they arent scared of us, we arent scary. Maybe we smell." Violet said. Violet heard a rumble of thunder. "Or maybe they hate the rain adn thunder." Violet said and watched the game from what little peolpe were out there playing

(Ravenclaw Keeper)

With Slytherin still in posetion of the quaffle Polly felt her nerves rise upwards. If something didn't happen soon she would die with the suspense. To try and keep herself occupied she raised her wand in the air multi coloured fire works shot out high up in the air. She watched in awe as the crowds heads were raised upwards to the fire works that seemed to be falling down on them. When the fire works reached the stadiums they all burts into small sweets that read RA..RA..RAVENCLAW on the front. Each different colour a new flavour. The crowd cheared as the sweets landed upon them and Polly felt herself grin, her tummy starting to rumble at the sight of the spectators scrambling about trying to find the sweets and others munching on those they had obtained.

Drawing her attention back to the game Polly saw that syltherin were still in posetion of the quaffle. Cupping her hands around her mouth Polly yelled "Come of Ravenclaws get the quaffle back and get some goals in." Thumping her arm up in the air as she said this.

[Slytherin Chaser]

While awaiting for a response from Jessie, Kay began shaking her broom violently back and forth. She for some strange reason always seemed to get a great thrill out of the feeling of possibly losing control. While she was shaking around she began humming the tune to her favorite muggle video game called Mario Brothers.

"Do - do - dodadodo..." She mumbled as she started to incoherently sing out loud. Suddenly Fred reached up and hit her hard on the head. "Ouch Fred, what in the world was that for? See if I ever bring you to another match again, gosh." She spoke out loud and clearly this time. Looking around suddenly something hit her, "Oh crap that's right, we are in the middle of a match. Sorry about being rude just a second ago, thank you for knocking some sense into me there Fred. I owe you one."

Sitting back up straight she checked to made sure she still had the quaffle, and yes she was still in possession. Once she knew she hadn't lost it or done something with it and couldn't remember she started snapping her fingers in front of both Gemma and Jessie's faces. "Wake up ladies!!! I think we need to do the DPP and I think we can pull if off this time. Gemma you explain to Jessie what exactly the DPP entails while I refill my internal sugar supply."

While she waited for Gemma to explain the move in detail to Jessie she reached inside of her robe and pulled out a large handful of pixie sticks. As she dumped the wonderful sugary goodness down her throat she looked around at the weather once again. "We might want to get the show on the road before the sky opens up and takes a very large leak on all of our heads. It looks like it's going to pour, and soon." As she spoke she didn't even look over at the other two but instead focused her attention on starring at the birdies keeper.

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

Elana, though furious with herself for missing the Quaffle as it was thrown in, was glad to see some of the team arrive. She waved a hello to them, noting with a sigh that the other Ravenclaw Chasers weren't among their number. Now, where had that Quaffle run off to? Turning to face the Ravenclaw goals, she saw that Polly had magicked a few more fireworks, which brightened up the otherwise ominously dark sky before falling down as candy. Besides the fireworks on that end, there were also the Slytherin Chasers, and since she didn't have it, she figured that, obviously, the Quaffle was in the arms of one of them. "Hey Herbs," she called, "I'd love your help!" She nodded towards the Slytherin Chasers to give her teammate a hint at the help she needed, and then took off.

She sped down the pitch, wishing her broom could go faster. Since she was the only Ravenclaw Chaser, getting the Quaffle into her possession would be tricky, even with the help of a Bludger or two. A vague plan forming in her mind, Elana shot upwards, hoping that the Slytherins hadn't spotted her. Now up in the cover of the clouds, she continued towards the Chasers. If Herby could get a Bludger going their way by the time she got over them, she might just have a chance to get the Quaffle...

(Slytherin Chaser)

Gemma had again become oblivious of anything going on around her as she was trying hard to come up with one of the many moves she had thought about the previous night. Yet it seemed nothing was willing to come back to her, no ingenious strategy would suddenly make light bulbs appear above her head. The only thing she did notice appearing was fireworks shot by one of the Ravenclaws, and that got her out of the thinking. They had to do something, and quick, no matter if it wasn't the most original move they'd ever come up with. They'd have to create some confusion and try their best to score. She had the slightest idea of a move now, remembering all the chaos her dangling upside down had created in the former game. Maybe this would work...

Just as she wanted to explain her idea to her fellow Chasers [no matter how zoned out Jessie looked] Kaylee started talking again, suggesting they pull off the DPP. Of course, that seemed like a good standard move for them by now, which meant they should try going for it. But seeing as Kay was probably also right about the rain soon going to pour, she tried giving Jessie the shortest explanation possible, hoping the girl would actually listen to her.

"DP standard move. On person more in the row. Pretending all around. If you don't take off now, we gotta make it normal DP though, because we can't keep stalling any more. Don't feel offended then, please..."

She trailed off, hoping that her teammate was actually listening to he, before she turned to the other who was staring intently off into the direction of the other team, possibly their keeper. "Don't worry, Banana-hun, she seems busy enough with all her fireworks, we're gonna get this shiny red treasure where it belongs!", she rushed out before asking her if she was alright with taking off without reaction from Jessie. Then again, she didn't wait for any reaction from Kay either but simply took off, gliding into a position that'd put her above Kay while giving Jessie the possibility to come up underneath the two of them.

"BANANA NUT MUFFIN POWEEEER!"

She screamed this with delight as she felt the renewed rush of icey cold air hit her face and stream into her lungs. Somehow she was hoping for the downpour to happen, as she loved the sensation of rain, it added just so much adrenaline to the whole thing [meaning less sugar was necessary]. But right now, it didn't rain so they'd have to go for the strong surprising effect in order to overcome the Ravenclaw keeper.

[Slytherin Chaser]

Taking off straight ahead at full speed right next to Gemma, Kay looked back to see Jessie still stunned and sitting there. "Wake up Jessie, NOW!!!" She screamed across the pitch as her and Gemma neared the birdies goal post. Leaning down, crossing her ankles in Kaylee took her position on the above offensive. She always did have a thing for heights, but that's besides the point now.

Looking around she could see that Jessie still seemed to be stuck in shock or amazement at the spectacle the birdies keeper was causing. "I understand liking the shiny things, but gosh I don't think I've ever been that entranced before." She mumbled to herself as she felt the first rain drop hit her face. Smiling slightly she looked up and saw that they were within goals reach.

"Hey Muffin, I've got a present for you! Are you ready for it?" Without even waiting for a response Kay pulled out the quaffle from her side and threw the quaffle down to muffin. Once she released the quaffle she did a sort of flip type thing and feigned like she was falling off her broom. And as she hung there in mid air she silently mumbled a prayer that Gemma would score before the match was through.

[Slytherin Chaser]

While Gemma was mildly irritated at Jessie not following and obviously not having listened to them at all, she was still really glad that at least Kay had gotten right to taking off with her. The fact that her friend had chosen to go even higher than she herself already was didn't exactly appeal to Gemma, who had a slight aversion against extreme heights, but now was probably not the time to worry about the health of her teammate. Now was simply the time to score. And quickly. She felt a raindrop hit the tip of her nose, another clashing with her cheek. Before she knew it, it would be pouring and part of her hoped that that time would come before they'd get close enough to the goal hoops, making the Raven's Keeper even less concentrated. Then again, she seemed rather unconcentrated already, so it might not be too much of a problem.

Hearing Kay talk to her all of a sudden from somewhere above her head, Gemma didn't even look up because she knew exactly what was coming and didn't have any intentions of giving the Keeper a hint as to what would happen to the Quaffle in just above a second. And sure enough with the raindrops starting to come down from the skies above fell a red, shiny ball down to her, right into the hand she had held out by her side [though only ever so slightly]. She knew Banana would probably pull something off to furtherly distract the Ravenclaw team, so she concentrated on scoring only, the now extremely strong rain influencing what she could make out of the goal hoops, but it seemed the Keeper was only lingering in one spot, quite much in the middle, so she lowered herself on the broom and flew a little lower altogether, feeling the wet in her neck now. Just as she had fought her way through the chaos of rain and upcoming wind to right before the goal hoops she pulled her broom upwards again, so she appeared at one level with the hoops all of a sudden and flicked the ball at them carefully, confident that this would be scoring. Yet she still chose to take a sharp turn and fly upwards to her Banana so as not to look at the result of her trial.

"Now wasn't that excellent timing on behalf of the weather, wifey?", she grinned once she had reached Kay and shielded her eyes from the water to look at her.

[Slytherin Chaser]

Still hanging on in mid air she winced and pulled herself back up right once she saw Gemma throw the quaffle towards the hoops. "Hopefully that goes in and the game is called to a close, because I'm already starting to get soaked. And as much as I like rain, we already have one sick player, we really don't need anymore." Shaking her head back and forth she felt Fred give her one tap to agree with her. "It's good to know that at least you agree with me Fred." She mumbled as Gemma approached.

"Now wasn't that excellent timing on part of the weather, wifey?" She heard Gemma say as she flew up and hovered next to where Kay was sitting and watching. "Yes dear, perfect timing indeed." Looking around she saw that Jessie still seemed to be stuck in the motionless trance that she'd been stuck in for most of the game. "I wonder whats wrong with her? I mean I know we zone out sometimes, but usually screaming knocks us right out of it. Well all except that one time when you fell into that sugarless coma." She said to Gemma as she continued to stair at Jessie.

"Oh crap Muffin!!!" She yelled and then turned a shocked and worried face towards Gemma, "You don't think that maybe that's whats wrong with her? Maybe, just maybe she might be stuck in a sugarless coma? Do you think we should go over there and try to shove some candy down her throat?" Still looking slightly horrified and feeling slightly stupid for not thinking of it earlier Kay looked to Gemma fro her thoughts.

[Slytherin Chaser]

Turning to look at Jessie, Gemma continued listening to what Kay said after she had confirmed her opinion about the weather. It seemed Jessie didn't even feel bothered by the huge drops of water falling from the sky, but what could be wrong with her? She felt reminded of something, but couldn't quite put her finger on it. Only after Banana's rather loud and close to her ear screaming of a not so nice word and the horrified questions she came up with afterwards she knew it. It had indeed showed some reminiscence to the way she imagined herself to have looked when being in her sugarless come.

So instead of answering to her friend, she just nodded frantically and began digging through all the pockets she could find on her robe, getting out all kinds of sweets. "Banana, what can you offer? You must be right, we'll have to save her!" Hoping that her wifey would get some stuff out of her personal supply once they were over where Jessie was hovering, Gemma took off at full speed again, this time not only fighting the rain or trying to win a competition, but rather to make a fellow Slytherin's life reappear. She knew how those comas felt and they sure weren't pleasant!

"Banana, hurry up!", she screamed, not knowing whether she had followed, before she realised that she was already almost past Jessie and got to a sudden, unpleasant halt, patting her broom apologetically as she felt rain splashing into her eyes. This game was slowly becoming absolutely unpleasant!

Despite the snitch not having been caught, this match is now over.
