7th House Quidditch: HUFFLEPUFF v RAVENCLAW: 21st - 25th

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::As she walked confidentally onto the empty Pitch, Elana pulled the tangled mess of brown curls that made up her hair into a ponytail to keep it out of her face as much as possible. Wow, I'm here first. That's never happened. She grinned ear to ear, put a leg over her broom and kicked off. How she loved the feeling of rushing through the brisk autumn air, the feeling of flight. Elana took a quick lap around the Pitch, hoping members of her team would show up soon.::

(hufflepuff Keeper)

::Dancing ran out onto the Pitch she smiled. Only Elana was here.

::She leaped onto her broom headed into the air near Elana.

"Hey girl," She waved "Looks like we're the only ones here."

(Ravenclaw Beater)

"Hello my dear dancing quintuplet!" Elana said with a laugh as Dancing flew over to her. "Yep, sure does."

::Elana grinned, glad that Dancing was here. She hadn't seen her much, and since they were quintuplets (lol, it's true! Our birthdays, her twin, and her cousin!) it was espically good to see her.::

"Ready for some Quidditch? I am, and I only hope my team-mates are going over more stratagies," she said with a hopeful glance at the locker room entrance to the Pitch.::

(Hufflepuff keeper)

"I am soooo ready for the match, Ravenclaw's goin' down" Dancing smiled, "so how about a race before any one gets here." She grined

(Ravenclaw Beater)

"Oh really?" Elana asked, brow raised. "What nonesense they tell you in Hufflepuff, Dancing. A race? Oh but of course," she said. Before Dancing could reply she had lain down and was speeding towards the goal posts on the opposite end of the Pitch.::

(Hufflepuff keeper)

::Before she could blink Elana had zoomed forward damcing followed with easily speed closer only nanometers behind.

:: They were almost there when..._________

(Ravenclaw Beater)

...a Bludger suddenly soared past Elana. She realized a split second later that it would hit Dancing if she didn't hit it first, and changed her direction immediately. The game hadn't started. That would be a good excuse if anyone asked why she had saved Dancing. A moment before the Bludger would have hit Dancing, Elana struck out with her bat and it zoomed off in another direction.::

"Close one," Elana said, breathing slightly heavier. Not good that the ball had caught her off gaurd...::

::the two girls neard their destination when

CRACK a bludger attacked them.

:: "OMG Elana you saved me," Dancing whispered, "when you could've let it hit me."

She hugged her quinty(Which was very hard since they were on brooms.) "Thanks"

(Ravenclaw Beater)

"Aww, of course I did Dancers!" Elana said, hugging her back with quite a bit of difficulty. "You're my quinty, I couldn't have let that hit you. Well," she said with a grin, "not before the game starts."

(Hufflepuff Keeper)

"Before the game started, eh" dancing grinned "If the game was going you would have hit it at me,"

::She laughed but still wondered where her teammates were

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::Elana gave a noncommital shrug, still grinning.::

"Possibly...You never know, do you?" Elana began tossing her bat from hand to hand, sitting up and also looking towards the entrance. Where are they?::

::lol I wish the game would start...

Oh well, "hey whne did you get married?" Dancing asked bobbing up and down on her broom. "I only just noticed. your siggy"

(Ravenclaw Beater- As would I *sigh*)

::Elana blushed, smiling sweetly.:: "October 18," she said. "It was a blast!"

::She was getting frusturated. Where was her team?! Elana sighed and turned back to Dancing, "I'm gonna go check and see if anyone's coming."

::She flew downwards to the entrance and lightly touched down. Walking over to the door, she couldn't believe no one besides her and Dancers had shown yet. She poked her head inside and yelled as loudly as she could, "COME ON RAVENCLAWS, GET OUT HERE ALREADY! WE'VE GOT A GAME TO WIN!"

::Elana grinned, anger disappearing as she stepped back from the opening. She knew how loud she could be when she tried and hoped that her voice would be ringing in her team mates ears for a while. Served them right, being so late and her not being able to score anything.::

(Hufflepuff Keeper)

::Dancing flew to her teams locker room, looked around no one was there. She opened a door that lead to the grounds no one was even in sight.

::She ran back to the pitch she was a little freaked out this never happened.

"Elana," she called "I have an Idea." she ran over to her quinty. "I'm gonna pm all my team mates, you know to remind them. Amybe you should do the same..."

(Ravenclaw Beater)

"Wonderful idea, Dancers my dear," Elana said. She pulled out some spare parchment that for some reason was inside her royal blue Quidditch robes along with a quill with a bit of ink. Quickly, she wrote letters to each of her team mates telling them to get onto the Pitch before the game ended and somehow, her faithful owl was flying towards her. She attatched the letters and followed the owl with her eyes as it flew to Ravenclaw Tower where her team mates were...hopefully.::

(Hufflepuff Keeper)

::Dancing did the same but with no owl she preformed an oppisiste of the 'acio' charm and sent her pleas of request to her missing team mates.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jen blew her nose on a tissue and ran out to the field with a broomstick in her left hand. Glancing up at a slightly angry Dancing, she waved at her as she kicked off into the air.::

"Sorry! Had a bit of a cold but I'm here!" Jen said with a smile. "Oh and Elana, we weren't filling Dancing's head with nonsense about Hufflepuff winning, it's in the tournament scores." Jen said with a slight smirk as she pointed to the Hufflepuff points. "Let the games begin!"

::Jen flew over to the center of the field and waited for the quaffle to get thrown into action. Glancing around the field one last time, she prayed that it wouldn't be like the last Slytherin game where she was the only Chaser. Snapping back to attention as she saw the quaffle get thrown into the air as the whistle was blown, Jen stretched out her right arm as far as she could and was able to catch the quaffle with her fingertips. Holding the quaffle close to her chest, she wrapped her arm tightly around the ball and started toward the Ravenclaw goalposts.::

::Elana made a face and took off after Jenn. Without a Keeper, Chasers, two Beaters...well, pretty much the whole team besides Elana, scoring would be way too easy. Very unfortunate for the Ravens.::

::She was catching up to Jenn, thankfully, and there was a handy Bludger she was nearing also.::

(Hufflepuff Keeper)

::Dancing clapped "I knew someone would come."

She whispered at Elana in a friendly manner, "I protect your goals. good luck" She zoomed off to take position in frount of her goals.

she sighed, The game had begun.

(Hufflepuff Beater)

::Erin ran into the Quidditch pitch, mounted her broom, and took flight.

"Sorry I'm late guys!" she called to her teammates, as she started looking around for a bludger and any excuse to hit it.::

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jen glanced behind her back and spotted Elana speeding up to hit a bludger in her direction. Leaning as close to her broomstick as possible, she brought her legs up onto the broomstick to present a harder target for Elana's bludger.::

::Wobbling a bit to the left, Jen flew close enought to the goals to toss the quaffle in and score the first goal of the game! Simple yet effective!::

:Marie rubbed her eyes sleepily as she walked on the Quidditch pitch:

"Sorry people, I overslept," she said, yawning.

:She jumped on her broom and kicked the ground, hoping the cold air would wake her up:

skyla runs onto the pitch after marie

"where are all the ravenclaws?" she whispered to Elana before circling the air.

Suddenly the quaffle was brought back into play after jennifers goal. Skyla stormed after it and using the motion of the wind tossed it into the air before chasing it and coming back on track.
She motioned to Elana to follow her and protect her at she zigzagged through the hufflepuffs towards the goal

(Ravenclaw Beater)

"I dont' know!" Elana shiwpered back. She followed Skyla through the maze of Hufflepuffs, hoping that she would score. Do we have a commentator for this match?::

(Reserve ravenclaw chaser number 2)

Illy ran onto the pitch and mounted her broom. Ravenclaw needed her and she was here - yes with ice cream and pumpkin juice down her top and her hair not brushed, but she was here.

She noticed Elana helping skyla towards the goals and flew over nearer the goal, keeping her eye open in case skyla needed to pass her the quaffle

Wendy-- Hufflepuff Chaser

Wendy had hardly recovered from her major headache and a hurt ankle. She had no choice the team needs her for the quidditch match against Ravenclaw. She kicks off from the ground on her firebolt and found herself on the air.

"Sorry I am late, I just got out of the hospital wing, Madam Pomfrey insist on a last minute checkup before i leave."

Looking around, she saw that the ravenclaw chaser have got the quaffle. She wonders how is she going to snatch it from them. They have two chasers around.

"Hey Jen, any ideas how to get the quaffle.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"Of course!" Jen said with a smile. "We just need to do the Huffie Swift Swirl." Whispering the details to angel, she gave a firm nod and flew off to catch up to skyla as angel flew in the opposite direction.::

::When in position, she gave angel the signal as they both started flying at skyla at top speed from opposite directions. Looking like they were going to crash into skyla, Jen kicked up her heels and accelerated even faster.::

::At the very last moment, Jen swerved to narrowly miss skyla and stick out her left arm to knock the quaffle out of skyla's arms.::

::Pulling her broom into a sharp dive, Jen reached out and caught the fallen quaffle. Leaning low on her broom, she swiftly flew toward the Ravenclaw goals.::

(Alyssa -- Ravenclaw Chaser)


:Alyssa ran out into the pitch quickly tying up her blonde hair.:

"Sorry I'm late!" She called to Elana as she mounted her broom and took flight. SHe smiled and then flew after Jen, hoping to catch up to her before she made a goal. She came up underneath her, raised her right hand and knocked the quaffle out her arms.:

"Next time!" she shouted to Jen with a small smile, clutching the quaffle close to her chest. She turned around sharply and headed for the Hufflepuff goal.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jen grinned as she followed Dimples down the field. 'Now it's getting interesting,' she thought to herself.::

::Jen dipped down until she was flying directlyon top of Dimples. Holding onto her broomstick tightly with her legs, she suddenly flipped upside down infront on Dimple's face, stratling her enough for Jen to grab the quaffle. The quaffle fell and Jen caught it with her right hand as she used her left hand to jerk the broom to fly in the opposite direction.::

::Holding the quaffle tightly under her arm, she sat upright again. Looking over her shoulder, Jen noticed Dimples right behind her. Turning forward again, she was able to duck in time to get out of the way of a oncoming bludger! She hoped Dimples dodged the bludger as well. Performing the high speed zig zag Woollongong Shimmy to throw Dimples off her back, Jen flew straight to the center hoop and tossed it in for another goal.::

::Giving Angel a thumbs up, she turned around and flew toward the center once more.::

(Alyssa -- Ravenclaw Chaser)

:Alyssa felt unbearabel pain as the bludger made impact with her right shoulder. She clenched her jaw, pushing back tears and continued to pursue Jenn, but not as fast. She leaned forward on her broom to gain speed, expertly dodging a bludger:

:She flew up behind Jen, knocking into her with her left shoulder and caught the quaffled with her left hand and sped towards the Hufflepuff goals:

"Nice Try!" she called over at the surprised Jen. She zig zagged up in down the field and threw the quaffle into the righ hoop. But she shoudln't have scored with her right arm because the pain in her right shoulder became worse. She hoped it wasn't too bad:

(Ravenclaw Beater)

"Good work Allysa!" Elana called, hands cupped to her mouth. Too bad there hadn't been enough time for her to get to Allysa and Jenn...But there was that Bludger. She swung and hit it at Jenn, regret filling her for she didn't like to potentially hurt a friend...but hey, that was her job.::

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jenn ducked as she rolled on her broomstick to get out of the way of Elana's bludger using the Badger Roll technique.::

"Alright that makes the payment up 5 mORE apples for throwing bludgers at your former wedding planner!" Jenn grumbled jokingly.::

(ravenclaw keeper)

kitkat stretched in her dorm and looked out of the window and noticed the quidditch game

"darn" she muttered grabbing her quidditch clothes and broom. "The stairs will take too long" she thought as she pushed open the window, mounted her broom and flew straight down to the pitch

After muttered appoligies, kitkat zooms up to the hoops, her eyes wide and watching the play in front of her, ready to use her new and improved keeper tactics

::Hufflepuff Keeper::

::Dancing narrowly missed the qwafffle that swirved right through her open arms. "Crap," She yelled. "I am not having a good day"

::She dived around grabbed the qwaffle and threw it into play. Passsing it to Jenn With a Badger Swipe. ( Passing the ball behind her back to a chaser)

::She cheered Loudly Now this, this is a game

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jen caught the quaffle with one hand and gave the other team a slight smirk. She tucked the quaffle under her chin and leaned forward, cushioning thge quaffle between the broomstick and her body so it wouldn't be stolen again.::

::She flew to the far left hoop which was immediately blocked by kitkat. She jerked her broom to pretend to go for the right hoop and quickly layed back on her broomstick to shoot a goal when kitkat moved to block the other goal.::

"Yes!" she said with a smile as she flew off.::

::Dancing punched the air as Jenn scored. Bracing her self she watched the qwaffle it would becoming this way. She knew it.

(Alyssa--Ravenclaw chaser)

:Alyssa caught the quaffle after Jen scored through their hoop and sped off towards the Hufflepuff posts. She looked over her shoulder and saw that Jen was right on her tail. Quickly thinking of a stratergy she ducked an oncoming bludger and plugned toward the ground, pulling up just before she hit the ground:

:She smiled, as she glanced behind her. She had lost Jen. She sped towards the Hufflepuffs goal, swerving out of the Keeper's way and scored through the center hoop.:

"Heck Yes!" she punched her fist in the air.

::Elana gave a wild whoop as Alyssa scored. After a short victory dance, she concentrated once more on the game. Deciding that as much as she hated to do it, Dancing needed to get out of the way, Elana's next Bludger made its way towards the Hufflepuff Keeper.::

(Hufflepuff beater)

:Marie, who had been almost falling asleep during the previous minutes, flung her eyes open as she saw the bludger going toward her keeper. Sighing, she grabbed her bat and flew toward her, placing herself in front of the goals and waiting for the bludger to come, looking for a target to send it at. Instead of a person, she decided to help her team a little.

Aiming with precision, she hit the bludger with all her strenght and sent it flying toward the quaffle. She smiled as the two balls collided, sending the quaffle flying toward the Hufflepuff team and away from the Ravenclaw chasers.:

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jenn grinned as she caught the quaffle.::

"Thanks Marie!" Luckily Jenn was hovering right next to the Ravenclaw goalposts when Marie hit the quaffle toward her. She volleyed the quaffle straight into the left goal hoop.::

"Good thing you woke up Marie!" Jen said as she laughed.

:Marie yawned as she flew around the pitch sleepily, trying to keep her eyes open:

"Who said anything about waking up?" she asked tiredly

(Alyssa-- Ravenclaw Chaser)

:Alyssa flew up behind Jen, bumping into her and snatched the quaffle from her hands. She dogded a bludger and MarieC and spiraledlow towards the ground to lose Jen. She pulled up straight into the air right in front of the Hufflepuff goals and shot it through the left hoop:

::Dancing Swearved to the Right and caught the ball before it soared through. She tossed it lightly to Jenn.

(Okay you chasers need to give us keepers some warning or we can't do our job. Okay...okay.
IT IS AGANIST THE RULES TO MAKE SOMEONE DO SOMETHING THEY DON'T WANT TO DO! DIMPLES YOU CAN'T JUST KEEP SAYING YOU KEEP MAKING GOALS! YOU NEED TO GIVE US A CHANCE TO REACT!!!!!!! *GLARES AT DIMPLES* )

Wendy -- Hufflepuff Chaser

As she was still not feeling that well, her head was still hurting. So she miss a bit of the match, but she intends to continue the game and hopefully she will help the team score at least a goal or two or better than the first match.

"Hey Jenn, over here, lets score some goals"

Seeing that Jenn have the quaffle, she will have to wait for her to pass it to someone in the team.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jenn looked over at angel and grinned. "Here show us what you got!" She tossed the quaffle to angel over her shoulder using the Backhand switch.::

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::Thank goodness Lily's here. Finally, another Beater in a game! Elana thought happily as Lily entered the Pitch and made her presence known. Grinning, Elana flew towards Lily.::

"We should let them know what it feels like to be hit by a Bludger hit at them by two wonderful Beaters," said Elana. She had never had another Beater with her in a game, so hadn't ever had a chance to try any double Beater attacks and was happy for a shot at one.::

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::Elana, recognizing what it was Lily wanted her to do, hit the Bludger Lily had hit at her before flying after the other one. When she had gotten to it, the Bludger she had hit had reached Lily, and knowing that it would be coming back to her soon, Elana quickly hit the new Bludger at Lily. Not too hard of course; don't want to injure your own team mate.::
