Alice walked wearily into the Hogs Heads. It wasnt her first choice of bars, but Bella liked it as the barman would sell her firewhisky and such even though she was underage. Alice wrinkled her nose as she opened the door. She hated the smell of goats. Alice looked around the dirty bar for her sister, who it appeared wasnt there yet. Well, Bella was incredibly fond of being 'fashionably' late, but after experienceing 16 years of it, Alice was not impressed. Alice took a seat at the dingy bar, trying to touch as little as possible of the dirty surface. ''What can I get you?'' The barman asked her in a gruff voice. ''Umm, nothing just yet'', Alice smiled politely. The barman looked mutionus but let it go, resuming his 'cleaning' of the bar.

Bella pushed open the door to the Hogs Head, keen to enter the building.
It was getting a bit cold outside in her slighty slutty outfit which included the shortest of black miniskirts and a low cut revealing red singlet which revealed half of Bella's black push-up bra.
Bella smiled as she spotted Alice sitting at the bar. She was a bit late, yes.
''Hey Alice'', Bella grinned at her twin, ''Long time no see. You've been too busy with the Order to make appointments with Deatheaters''. Bella smirked slightly before calling over the barman and ordering a firewhisky.

Alice raised an eyebrow at Bella's choice of clothing, but shruged her shoulders. Bella had always loved male attention. Alice stood up and embraced her sister before they both took their seat. Bella felt the need to make a snide comment about the Order and ordered herself a firewhisky.
''Do you really think you should be drinking that?'' Alice asked her, ignoring her previous comment.
Alice knew Bella wouldnt be too concerned about how much alchol she consumed, but felt the need to warn her all the same. Perhaps one of these days Bella would listen to her. 'Or not...' Alice thought as she noticed an older man eyes Bella with lust from across the room.

Bella answered Alice's question by taking a long gulp of the firewhisky the barman had placed in front of her. Bella's attention was then captured by a man on the other side of the room.
Bella was quite conciouse of the fact he was stareing at her, and judging by the expression on his face, this man liked what he saw.
Bella winked flirtaciously at him. Sure he was a bit too old for Bella to go anywhere with, but a bit of fun never hurt anyone.

Alice sighed as Bella noticed the man.
Bella began to flirt and Alice watched in exasperation.
In reaction, no doubt to Bella's outfit and behaviour, the man began to walk towards them.
Alice put him in about his late 40's. Almost 30 years older than herself and Bella.

''I was going to buy you a drink, but it appears you already have one'' the man said to Bella, completely ignoring Alice. Alice could not believe that he even tried to use that as a pick up line.

Bella smiled as the man approached.
She pushed her drink towards Alice and said, ''Nope, I'm Bella by the way''.
The man smiled as Bella waited for a response.
Bella chanced a glance at Alice who did not look too happy with the new situation.
Bella shruged, one she had had some firewhisky she'd liven up. Seeing as Alice didnt drink regularly, Bella knew she'd be an easy drunk.

''Mark'', the older man grinned at Bella. ''Two frewhiskys'', he called to the barman who brought the drinks.
Alice glared at Bella as she passed Alice her own drink. This man gave her the creeps and Alice was totaly bewildered as to why Bella wished to socilise with him.
It wasnt as if he was good looking or anything.
He looked as if her wanted only one thing from a young, attractive girl like Bella, and it didnt take a genious to figure out what that was.

Bella grinned at the man named Mark and downed her firewhisky in one.
Mark smiled, and Bella could tell he wanted to get her drunk. She had alot of experience with these kind of guys. Unfortunatly for Mark, Bella wasnt an easy drunk and it took a good two bottles of firewhisky to get her tipsy. A couple of glasses wasnt gonna do much.
Unexpectedly, Mark lifted his hand against Bella's thigh and began to move it slowly up her leg. Once he had reached the hem of her miniskirt, Bella placed her own hand ontop of his. ''Easy there'', She breathed softly.

Alice was trying very hard not to throw up as this creepy old man gropped Bella.

''What do you say we get out of her and go somewhere more... private?'' Mark asked Bella, his voice thick with implications.

''You sick bastered!'' Alice screamed at him. Mark turned and looked at Alice for the first time that evening, ''No one asked you'', he told her icily.

''She's my sister! You expect me to sit here and watch as you hit on her? Its discusting! She's 16! And your what? 49?'' Alice coninued to scream. By now, most of the bar were watching them.

Bella shuddered away from him. Sure, she was willing to talk to him and have some fun but there was no way she wanted to take this any further. She had been about to tell him No thanks, but her answer was not needed as Alice began shouting at him.

''53 last week, love'', Mark grinned at Alice. ''Whats it to you if I prefer a younger crownd!''

''Umm, look. Mark? Maybe some other time, okay?'' Bella said to him as she stood up and went to stand by Alice.

''You're a sick pedo!'' Alice replied, glad she had Bella's support.

Mark was not too happy that Bella wasnt willing to leave with him however. ''What the hell do you think your doing you filthy little stut?'' He screamed at her. ''I buy you a drink, and this is how you repay me? What do you think, im made of money? Your coming with me!''

Mark grabbed Bella's wrist and started to drag her towards the door, but Alice whipped out her wand. ''Expelliarmus!'' She shouted, forcing him to release her sister.

Bella screamed as Mark made to remove Bella by force.
Luckily, Alice took out her wand and forced Mark to let her go.
Bella darted back to Alices side. Mark was furious.
He pulled out his own wand and pointed it at Alice.
Before Bella could react, he cast a nonverbal spell.

Alice watched in horror as Mark pointed his wand at her.
He cast a nonverbal spell which hit Alice directly in the chest.
Blood spouted from where she had been hit, as if she had been stabbed.
''Aaaarg'', Alice collapsed on the floor in a pool of her own blood.
The wound was deep, and she was quickly bleeding. Alice knew Bella wouldnt be able to save her, but hoped that she would be able to escape with her own life.

''Nooooo!'' Bella screamed as Alice was hit.
Alice started bleeding fast. Bella was furious, she took out her own wand and pointed it at Mark, who grinned.
''You bastered!'' Bella wispered through the tears that poured down her face.
''Avada Kedavra!'' Bella screamed and a green bolt of magic shot towards the man she loathed.
He slumped onto the floor, dead.
''Alice! Alice!'', Bella cried, ''Are you okay? Im gonna go get help. Hang on. Stay with me!''
Bella stood up and dashed to the door, she glanced back at her sisters form on the ground before rushing out. They didnt have much time, and Bella could only think of one person who could save Alice now.

Alice had no idea what what going on around her.
All she knew was pain, and hurt.
Suddenly, Bella crouched before her.
Alice nodded, unsure of what she was saying, her senses seemed to have dulled.
She relised that Bella was going to get help, as her sister rushed to the door.
''Hurry...'' Alice wispered inaudibly before the blackness enclosed around her.
She had only passed out though, and she clung onto life with an irongrasp. Her slow ragged breathing was the only sound left in the room.

Bella apperated outside the hogs head, bringing Violet along with her.
''She's inside...'' Bella began, more incontrol of her voice as she relised it was crucial to fill Violet in.
''There was a bar fight. It was my fault. Alice got hit with a curse, i dont know what it was... she bleeding badly''. Bella pushed open the door and led the way inside.
She ran to Alice's side, stepping over Marks dead body and feeling no regret.
Bella noted that Alice was unconcious, but still alive. Her bleeding seemed to haved slowed slightly since she left, but Alice was lying in a large pool of her own blood. Bella turned to Violet. Steady as her voice was, she couldnt hold back the tears.
''Violet, your the first person i thought of. I know you can heal. Please... youve got to save her. I cant let her die for me...'' Bella wispered through her tears.

Violet sighed, looking at Mark and Alice.
"I dont thnk I could help..." She mumbled, but kneeled down.
She turned Alice over some, to look at her face.
She saw she was whiter then paper and flinched a bit.
She couldnt do anything unless she knew what the curse was, which she didnt know.
"Bella....I cant help unless I know the curse....you need to think fast. I have a daughter at home and I shouldnt be apparating while I'm pregnant again." She mumbled.
She pulled her wand from her pocket, giving Alice a check over.

Alice faded in and out of conciousness, and vaugly registered the arrival of Bella and Violet.
She moaned softly, struggling to open her eyes.
''Violet?...What are you doing...?''
Alice tryed to speak but couldnt get her question across.
She closed her eyes once more, and returned to unconciousness.

Bella held her sisters hand, ''Its okay Alice. Violets going to help you'', Bella wispered.
Bella, panicing, tried to remeber back... ''It was a none verbal curse!'' She told Violet.
She hoped Violet would still be able to help. ''He sorta waved his wand in a funny way.. you know, like this''
Bella demonstrated an odd sort of movement. She was trying to give Violet all the information she had.
''He didnt seem too smart, a bum off the street, it probably wasnt too complex a curse''.
Bella continued to cry softly, praying her lack of knowledge and intelligence wouldnt lead to Alice's death.

Violet sighed and watched the movement. She had never seen it before and sighed.
"Then there is no hope..." Violet whispered. She touched Alice's head softly and devolped into her mind.
She saw the man who had caused this and pulled back.
"Nice going Bella. Kill the only person who knows the curse." She mumbled.
She looked over at the man's body and touched lightly, trying to get was memory she could before the body completly died.
She sighed, getting no where.
"I know the curse..." someone whispered behind her.

''NO!!!'' Bella yelled. There couldnt be no hope.
She continued to cry. ''I had to kill him. He was so angry. There was no way he was going to leave me or Alice alive...'' Bella said. She knew it was all her fault. If only she was better.
''I'm sorry.''
Bella looked round at the voice. She spun round but couldnt see them.

Violet looked down and glared.
"No Gladin" She mumbled.

Gladin shook her head.

She listened to Gladin's exchange with Violet.
''Please, Vi. They're our only hope... We might as well try...''
Bella bent down so she was at eye level with Gladin.

Suddenly, Violet was yelling.

She knew they had to hurry before it was too late for Alice.

She glared at Gladin who was shaking.
"Mistress he messed it up!" She yelled at Violet.
Violet punched the wall and glared.

Bella went over to Violet and placed a hand on her shoulder, trying to calm her down.

Bella asked. She needed to know.

Violet didnt look at bella but glared at Gladin.

Alice feeble began to stir.
She was dazed and a bit confused.
''Where am...?'' Alice began before the memorys came rushing back. ''Oh!''
Alice gasped and gingerly felt her side where the curse had hit.
It was still sore, but also numb and the would had closed, making it look more like a scar than a fresh wound.
As soo as Alice relised she was sitting in a pool of blood, she tried to stan to move away, but she felt dizzy and weak. Alice felt her legs give way as she collapsed back down.
''Thankyou'', she wispered to Violet, Bella and the other creature she didnt know.

Gladin smiled at her.
Violet pushed her away and glared.

Gladin hugged her again

Bella saw Alice awake and rushed to her side.
''Alice!!! Your alive!'' Bella sobbed, crying with joy.
Bella helped Alice up and deposited her on one of te bar chairs before pouncing on Violet, hugging her tightly.
''Violet, you did it! You saved her!'' Bella sobbed.
She released Violet and turned to Gladin.
She nodded thankyou before turning back.

She felt her son kick in her stomach more.

With Bella's help, Alice got up and sat in one of the chairs near the bar.
She still felt a bit dizzy and her muscules hurt where the curse had hit but other than that she was fine.
Alice saw Violet grab her stomatch, and she looked to be in pain.
''Violet? Are you alright?''
Alice asked her. ALice knew that she owed Violet her life, and would do everything she could to pay the debt.

Violet glared and pop the bag into her teeth.

She popped it in her mouth and Bella saw the red color of it.
It was blood!
''Violet? Whats that?'' SHe asked.
Why would anyone want to drink blood?!?

She sat down and took a sip of water.
Gladin glared at Violet and kicked her leg.

Bella jumped up and grabbed Gladdin to prevent her from causing any more violence.
