I agree, they should come out at the same time.... or at least midnight here and then in the morning elsewhere so that technically we only have a small headstart- like Britain had with the HP novels. But two days apart is absurd. Not just because it isn't fair, but because think of allllllllllll the spoilers that will be leaked! Conversations on the book that will have to be postponed until everyone on HE has read it! Oh, the humanity!

Well. I don't think I'm going to get the book so soon, since it's pointless to order it to Poland or Romania if I'll be in the UK sometime around mid-September anyhow.

Pointless, Cris? Pointless to get the last book in the Twilight series when it comes out, gobble it up in one sitting, and then spend the next few months discussing it ad naseum until Midnight Sun comes out? XD

I know it's coming out in about two weeks, but I cannot wait!!!! I am so desperate to read this book that I am totally ditching work on the 2nd (even though we will be busy and even though that means poor Matt will have to work all by himself as there is no way I'm going to be able to talk Ame into working seeing as she is staying up all night on the 1st to read it with me and our friends). I used to feel weird about being so into the books (as I am a bit older than the average reader) but since discovering Twilight Moms and Twilight Series Theories, i realize that at the heart of it Twilight is just a beautiful romance.

... for me, at least. xD I'm not such a Twilight fanatic - I mean, I agree that Eddie is a hottie and that it's all in all a great series and whatever ... but I can wait one extra month before I read it... plus, I have so many books on my reading list anyhow, that I have no idea when I'm gonna read them all xD

Anyhow - that kind of fanaticism was the case for me only when DH came out Breaking Dawn Countdown 410894

Oh btw - you do realise that by saying "conversations which have to be postponed until everyone on HE has read it" you're uhmmm... prolonging the wait for juicy conversations quite a bit?! XD ... that is, if you really mean *everyone*

But, I live in the US, so for me, all is good! (sorry guys!)
Since the book comes out the day before my birthday, that is my birthday party. Me and three of my friends are going to the midnight release. I am Alice, my friend jess is going to be Bella, Brittany is Esme, and Sara is Bella. haha. I cannot wait.
And, mabey not quite prolonged, but all in big ol spoiler tags, Cris. I dont know how long we can wait XD
We might be able to wait three weeks, tops. haha.

Cris, I apologize. I thought you were human, but now I know that you have inhuman super powers: on being the ability to withstand the sheer excitement felt all over the world by Twi-hards (or Twilighters if you prefer). XD

I too have a huge reading list (tons of books that I have bought just waiting to be read), but as I will be able to read Breaking Dawn in (hopefully) one evening than I shall push it to the top of my list. Plus, missy, you started to sign up for my book club and Breaking Dawn is one of the August books (doing two since it comes out at the very beginning of the month), so you should read it just for that purpose.

Even if I had the restraint to withhold the pleasure of diving into another Edward filled book, I can't deny my friends and loved ones tje oppurtunity to discuss the book with me. Especailly as if my little group of close knit friends I am the one who got everyone reading the series. I started with Ame, she and I then ganged up and forced Tiffany, Michelle and then Courtney- who was adamently against Twilight as she did not want to get involved with another Harry Potteresque, time consuming series. How can I turn my back on them now? Even my husband (who is still listening to the book tape of Twilight (almost done!!), is curious to read the rest of the series.

True. *thinks* .... but there is no way I can possibly get it in August, since I'm in Romania at that time :/ (I mean, I don't know *where* to get it ... maybe I could, if I did xD) ... though I could maybe get it at the beginning of September, when I'm back in Warsaw again.

Oh and .. even if I read it in August .. if I'm in Romania, I won't be online much anyhow, so I wouldn't be able to discuss it sad

Yup, or in my profile. This month we're talking about the Twilight series, but all past books are still up for discussion (for the whole 4 other members on the site XD)

And surely Twilight is beloved in Romania? If not, perhaps you could spread the Cullen love whilst there.
