When you post - please put your position and team (eg. Gryffindor Beater) in brackets before you begin the RPG post - otherwise your post will be void of any points!

Weather: Hot and sticky, summer has come early to Hogwarts.

Remember to observe the new Quidditch rules: day one is for arriving to the pitch, after which the referee will post and the game can properly begin and chasers can no longer immediately state that they have scored. They must wait for the Keeper to post. See the howler in the main forum for more info.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"Shut up!" Skie yelled at her Eyes Set To Kill alarm, but for some reason, it didn't want to be quiet. Finally, Skie threw her pillow at it, but unfortunately missed. Looking around dizzily for something else to throw, Skie glanced quickly at the calender she kept posted above her bed and paused. "Huh?" Circled in big red marker were the words... Quidditch Match? Skie rubbed her eyes to push the sleep away and looked closer. Yup, it definitely said quiddtich match... which meant... "I've got to go play quidditch! Duh! How can I be so brain dead?" Skie grabbed her clothes and quickly shrugged into them as she headed down to grab some breakfast from the kitchen. Whisking by in the blink of an eye, Skie grabbed a granola bar and chugged down a glass of milk in the same mouthful. Coughing for a second, Skie paused to catch her breath and correctly go through the chew-then-swallow procedure that food seemed to require. Skipping down the stairs two at a time, Skie barely stopped herself from tipping over the edge of the moving staircase that led to the Hufflepuff locker room. After that particular obstacle left her gasping, Skie firmly planted her feet onto the steady floor and walked into the locker room.
Putting on her elegant black and gold badger robes, Skie fastened the buckles and looked down, because she felt like she was forgetting something. "Oh, right! I need shoes!" Skie grabbed her shoes and put them on, careful not to mess up the laces. Strangling her black hair into a ponytail with her lucky hair band, Skie gave her appearance one last check in the mirror hanging by the door. Smoothing out the sharkies and tugging on the end of her ponytail to make sure it wouldn't come out, Skie smiled and said "Now all I need is my beautiful Timothy!" Snatching up her broom, Skie spoke to it and said "All right Timmy, ready to roll?" Of course, the broom didn't answer, but talking to inanimate objects was just Skie's 'thing'. Running out onto the quidditch pitch, Skie took a breath of... gross, muggy, humid, water ladened air. "Ew!" Skie muttered. Summer was NOT a favorite season. "Oh well, quidditch is quidditch no matter when, " Skie sighed. Planting her feet on either side of Timothy, Skie pushed off and sent herself hurtling into the air.
As Skie did her warm up laps, she spread her arms like wings and let the height make her feel utterly weightless and free. Performing a few barrel rolls and corkscrew spins, a sudden realization hit Skie. She was the first player from either team on the pitch! "Wow, this is a first! I'm usually really late!" Skie cried happily.

{hufflepuff Seeker}

::Dani was laughing as she followed Skie down to the pitch, the girl was certainatly a sight, but at least she was fun to be around. Grabbing her own set of robes and pulling them over her purple tank and blue shorts she grabbed her seeker's gloves.

Strabbing them on she looked for her brand new favorite pair of golden stilettos, slipping them on she smiled and glowed in their amazing four inch glory. The heels sunk into the ground as she made her way onto the pitch, but Dani didn't care.

"Hey Skie," she said to the Chaser once she'd kicked off.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"What is up Dani?" Skie was still laughing and loving the feel of the wind in her hair. Looking at Dani, Skie immediate thought was that she looked taller, like four inches taller. Glancing down at Dani's shoes, Skie realized that four inch death traps were Dani's choice of shoes for the day. "Whoa, kudos for Dani! I totally couldn't pull off wearing those shoes if I honestly even wanted to. Heels are an automatic face plant for me..." Wincing, Skie remembered her most recent experience with heels which involved grease, skidding quickly, a face versus floor, and then after finally getting back up, a fall onto her backside that resulted in a bruised, but thankfully not broken, nose, and a very sore butt. "Today's game is going to totally rock!" said Skie, moving her brain away from very painful ouch- full memories.

(Ravie Chaser)

Kim rushed into the Quidditch locker rooms. She changed into her robes and replaced her flip-flops for her Converse-the yellow pair. SHe brushed her hair and tied it up in a bun. She grabbed her broom and thought about the game, on her way to the pitch. So Huffie today. Those badgers, wonder how they've played this season. Kim was angry with herself for not keeping up with the Quidditch stats.

Kim walked out onto the field and heard the roar of the crowd. She saw 2 players in the air. Squinting she noticed they were Hufflepuff. She kicked into the air and flew around the pitch. A nice hot day. Maybe i'll go swimming after the game, she thought. She waved to the players on the pitch. She knew Dani but waved at her teammate also, to be kind. Kim waited around for the other Ravie's to show up.

(Ravenclaw Keeper)

Polly walked slowly down to the pitch after the last match she wasen't very hopeful not many people had turned up and she didn't have to do much work. She was hoping that this time it was going to be a little different.

Entering the changing rooms she quickly pulled on her robes already starting to sweat. Polly hated the heat in her opinion summer was the worst time of the year. All the way through the year she had to take her hayfever tablets and spends most of her time inside in the summer. Placing a nose inhaler in her pocket she reached over and felt the cool wood of her broom in her hand. Pulling the wood to her face she smiled at the coldness of it turning it around so it stayed cool and changing it from cheek to cheek. When the wood was hot all round and her hands clammy and sweaty Polly slowly bade her way towards the pitch.

Entering the stadium she waved up towards the crowds feeling the full effect of the sun on her even though it was not miday yet. Fanning herself Polly kicked of from the ground and flew to her position waiting for the other team members to arrive. Loathing even more the weather and hoping against hope that it would rain.

{Hufflepuff Seeker}

::Dani grinned looking at the golden daggers on her feet, "Thanks I love these shoes, they're so comfortable!"

Looking up the blonde Hufflepuff saw her friend Kim, a ravenclaw Chaser, she returned the wave and hollered at Kim, "Hey Girly!"

(Ravenclaw Beater)

Stephy ran on down towards the pitch excited for the match to begin. She loved qudditch and wished that she could play more of it but school just kept getting in the way fo things. Oh welll, only a few more weeks and no more school Stephy cheered in her head as she made her way into the locker rooms out of breath from running. She quickly dahsed over to the one locker that was hers and threw open the door.

Stephy quickly retrieved her robes from within her locker, accidentilty ripping them as she did so. Stephy held up the piece of it that was ripped and saw that it was the sleve. "Thats okay I can fix it" She exclaimed as she reached into her school robes and pulled out her wand. Pointing it at her qudditch robes she said "reparo" and the ripped fabric came together looking as if there was nothing wrong with it. Satisfied she quickly changed out of her school robes and inot her qudditch robes. She then grabbed her gloves and from within her qudditch robes pockets and placed them onto her hands, Once she was sure that they were tight she grabbed her bat and broom from within her locker and ran over towards the door.

In her excitedment to get out onto the pitch, Stephy wasn't able to open the door quickly enough and ended up running into it face first. She fell onto her bottom and loooking at the door she said "I sure am glad that there inst anyone in here to make fun of me." Getting back to her feet she took her time to open the door and get outside onto the pitch.

The first thing that she noiced was the sun. "Summer is here and I wished it wasn't. i like fall. Someone bring back fall" Stephy mumbled to herself as she threw her leg over her broom and continued to look up at the pitch. the second thing she noticed was who was all there. There were two hfflepuffs and two Ravenclaws. "Ravenclaw domintae the field now that I'm here" Stephy said as she kicked hard off of the ground and soared up into the air. As she made her way up her hair kept hitting her in the face and she had to stop and pull out a hair tie from within her robes. She quickly tied her hair up into a tight bun and then flew over to her team mates.

"Hello Polly and Kim. Great day for qudditch" STephy called outto them. "Polly you look as if your roasting." she added seeing that she was sweating. "I'm glad that Im used to the warm weather. I like it when it's 80 degrees outside."

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Capitan)

Rose sighed and streached as the alarm clock in her head went off. The only time it worked was during a Quidditch match. She smiled, remembering that today, the badgers where going agenst tose witty RavenClaws. That was always a fun match.

Still streaching, Rose slipped on some clothes setting at the end of her bed and walked over to the next dorm. She knocked on the door. "Wakey-wakey, Skie! It's time for the match!" Rose pressed her ear to the door and listened for a moan, possibly a 'go away'. But nothing. "Skie?"

Rose opened the door, and her friend's bed was empty. Rose smiled. FOr possibly the first time in Skie's life, she was at the pitch before Rose. But the smile on the girls face faded as she realized that Skie might not have gone staight to the pitch. Hussling, Rose headed towards the lockers.

After she was changed and her darling broom was in her hand, Rose zoomed out onto the pitch, stopping in the middle. Well looky there, sje said to herself. Skie is here before me! And so is Dani. Lovely. Rose loooked past them and saw two RavenClaw players.

Jumping on her broom, Rose flew past them and joined her teammates. "So, we have a plan yet?"

{Hufflepuff Seeker}

Dani waved at Rose, even though she had replaced Dani as Captain Dani respected her.

"Hey Rose, a plan? How about to win!" She said pumping the air with her fist. "I think the game will be starting soon," she added looking around the pitch.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose smiled. "Oh, I can live with that plan." She glanced around, wondering when the other Huffies would come. She was a little nervous, since this was her first game as being promoted to Captain. She wanted to be as good as the rest, and hopefully as good as Dani.

Amy flew onto the pitch, ready to get the match started.

She released the Snitch and the Bludgers, then tossed the Quaffle into the air.

"Let the match begin!"

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

As the Quaffle flew into the air, Rose took the chance and snatched it up before anyone else could realize it was loose. She darted towards the RavenClaw goals, whistling for Skie to fallow her just in case. She looked back and checked the Huffie goals, and Jamie seemed to be on full gaurd. She saw Dani eye the Snitch.

"Go Dani, don't let that devil out of your sight!"

(hufflepuff keeper)

Jamie watched the quaffle being released. Glade that it was passed on to one of his team mates he flew to each goalpost in circular motion keeping his eyes on the quaffle at all times...
this could be fun.... o wait its too eary on to tell.... Jamie thought starting t get a little nervous

Rose got closer and closer to the RavenClaw goals. She stared at Polly, trying to figure out the best way to score.

Jamie watched, his heart beating in his chest.
*thump* *thump* *thump*
Jamie stopped circling the goalposts to watch Rose with the quaffle.. he was perfectly save stopping this motion, no-one could through a quaffle from one side of the pitch to the other.
"please let this go in!" Jamie said to himself urgently, "please, please, please"

(I'll check that out. Remember, position!)

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"La di- da. La di-da. Wait... hm... where? QUAFFLE!" Skie was thrown back by the realization that the quidditch game had started and... what the heck?! Rose was already nearing the Ravvie goals and preparing to score on Polly! "Crap, must have forgotten to drink caffeine this morning!" Skie realized. "Must not sleep during quidditch!" Shaking off all sleepiness and anything that could even be interpreted as tiredness, Skie raced after Rose. Still trying to wake her sleepy body and brain up, Skie did a barrel roll while doing long division of polynomials. "THE ANSWER IS SEVEN TIMES THE SQUARE ROOT OF 5!" Skie yelled, all of her mathematical stupidity finally solving the equation. Now, fully awake and ready to catch quaffles, dodge bludgers, player, and anything else that came her way, Skie finally caught up with Rose. "I am awake!" Skie cried happily. Getting back to buisiness, though, Skie wondered what their next move would be. "Perhaps a Badger Hammock?" Skie asked aloud. "Oh, by the way, congrats on making captain!"

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose slowed as she herd her friend yelling out randome math as she sped to catch up. She was indeed the strangest friend Rose had, but still quiet lovable. Skie mentioned they try the Badger Hammock, and Rose knocked on her head, trying to remember what move that was. "Do we need three chasers for that one Skie, or is it the-oh? C-captain? Right, right! Um, thanks..." Rose sank back on her broom, realizing how much work this would mean. Lots and lots of work. Was she, the shy, helpless, little Huffie, really ready for that tittle? Had it been a wise decision to make her Captain?

Rose glanced around again, slowing her broom to a halt right infront of the goals. It dawned on her that she had no wizardly idea who the co-captain was. Hmmmmm....... Rose was now muttering to herself, completly unawear that they where in the middle of a game and she had the Quaffle.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"Awaken Rose from your land in the place where we go when we zone out! Rose, remember the quidditch pitch and the fact that you are holding the quaffle. WAKE UP!" Skie's patience wore thin and she finally just began to shake Rose until a reaction was made. "Snap out of it! ROSE, WAKE UP!" Skie finally realized that it was hopeless for her to try and wake up her friend. "Rose, please stop mumbling to yourself. You're really beginning to scare me, and the quaffle may begin to slip soon!" Skie was really beginning to worry about her friend and hoped that Rose would just come back from La La land sooner rather than later. "Oh, and when I said Badger Hammock, I meant Huffie Hammock. Brain fart! Sorry." Skie poked Rose for what seemed like the millionth time, but to no avail.
"Hm... Rose, there's a needle poking your arm and it's about to draw blood, Snape is being attacked by fangirls, and your mom's going to sell your horse!" Skie yelled all the things that she could think that Rose would possibly react to and just prayed. Hopefully, the explosion wouldn't kill anyone, just get Rose back into the game, where she was needed. "Rose?" Skie asked.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose continued muttering to herself until she herd the words needle and blood, fallowed by Snape and fangirls and the selling of her darling horse. She darted back to reality. "Noooooo, get it away from meeeeee! Professor Snape, I'll save you!!! Soldier!!!!!" Rose almost knocked Skie off her broom as she flailed her arms. Then she froze, and relized that they where back on the pitch and that she did indeed have to Quaffle. Rose blushed.

"Hmm-mmm. Right. The, um, Huffle Hammock, you say? Oh, sure. Lets do that." She nodded at Skie, agreeing.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"Jeez, don't scare me like that again! I thought I was actually going to have to poke you with a needle in order to wake you up!" Skie sighed, gald that Rose was finally back in the game, even though she had almost knocked her off of her broom. "Ready to Huffle Hammock this quaffle?" Skie asked, scooping her arms in the manner that the move dictated. Ready to move as soon as rose put the quaffle into her arms, Skie made some careful mental notes about carrying the quaffle carefully and NOT dropping it. Readying Timothy for some fast, fun movements, Skie shifted her seat bones to a more comfortable position.
"Hey Rose, you ready to rock this pitch?" Skie asked, excitement practically exuding from her. Somethings never got old, and trying to score a goal in quidditch was just one of those things. It was an addiction, quidditch, but if there is such a thing, quidditch was a healthy addiction.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose hooked her hands under the Quaffle and grabbing onto Skie's wrists. The red ball felt good in the hands of a Huffie. She smiled, then turned and nodded to her friend. "Right, lets rock this pitch. These birds won't even know what hit them." Then, they flew, as one, towards Polly.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"Oh yeah!" Skie cheered and would have done something stupid with her arms if they hadn't been tied up for scoring a goal on Ravenclaw. Cradling the quaffle in their arms, Skie, quaffle, and Rose sped across the pitch, gaining speed as they approached the Ravenclaw goals. Skie laughed as she felt the wonderful feeling of the wind blowing her hair in every direction and tugging gently on her ponytail like a sibling who wanted attention. Speeding through the air made it seem as if time stopped, because this was where she was supposed to be. Far above the rest of the world, disconnected, free of who she wanted to be and from who everyone wanted her to become, flight was the endless feeling of joy epitomized into one word. Then, in the blink of an eye, or so it seemed, Skie was reminded of her job, putting the quaffle through those goalposts in front of her. Pulling her arms back like a cradle, she and Rose stopped, ready to complete the final part of the Huffle Hammock. As they both began to swing their arms in a steady, rocking motion, Skie prepared herself for the liftoff of the quaffle. "3... 2... 1 GO!" Skie yelled at the top of her lungs as she watched, mesmerized as the quaffle whizzed through the air, a scarlet bullet against the green of the background that was the quidditch pitch.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose wooped as they neared the RavenClaw goal posts, and she felt her heart nearly leap from her chest as Skie began the count down. Every moment made her tense.

3.....Rose felt a shiver run down her spine as they began to swing the Quaffle, back and fourth. She looked at the stands, weary of all the eyes looking up at them, watching, waiting for the ding, or possibly not. Rose took a deep breath.

2.....They began to swing the ball faster, picking up a little more speed to help it soar past the Ravvie Keeper. The most important thing right now as to keep focused on the goal, and to not distract her partner in any way.

1.....Ok, Rose thought. This is it. Whatever happens, Huffies are winners forever. The Quaffle rocked back and fourth even faster now, pushing the wind behind it so that a wooooping shoud shot around Rose's ears. Just a little more....

The Quaffle launched threw the air, leaving it's holders and soaring towards the targeted goal. It looked fierce, challenging, as if saying, 'come on, Ravvie! Stop me if you dare!' Rose crossed her finger and closed her eyes.

"Come'on, ding. Ding, ding, ding!"

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Dragon was half way out of the locker room door when she realized she was still wearing her PJs. Blushing she changed in ten seconds flat and rushed out the door once more. "Hello hello." she waved to her dear fans out on the stands (although no one waved back) "Oh, how rude." she muttered and swinging her leg over her broom she yelled "Giddy Up Broomy!" and soared in the air.

And then a loud DIIINNGGG rang in the air just as she circled the hoops and she felt it vibrate. "Yay! Rosie! Go Huffie." she yelled while throwing her coffee cup on top of one of the fan's head.

Refreshed with her sudden coffee and sugar rush she sped towards the center of the pitch when her teammates were and waved brightly and giggled. "So what are you doing today my dear fellow Huffies?"

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose opened her eyes to see Dragon, the other Huffie chaser, heading there way. Rose waved and smiled. "Hey Dragon, we just-"

Dinnnnnnnng! Rose felt a rush of excitment run down her spine. Was that the bell? The, 'Huffies just scored' bell? She turned to Skie. "Was that-"

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"Hey Dragon!" Skie said after she had done a victory flip that left blood pounding in her head and a slight dizzyness that was enough to leave her brain spinning to collect the pieces of the words that Dragon was saying. "Well, until now, we were praying for a quaffle to go in! How was your morning?" Skie asked, feeling the blood pulse beneath her skin and her head begin to settle now that she was upright. Scanning the pitch for the qauffle, which could be thrown back in at any moment, Skie suddenly saw a flash of brilliant red in the corner of her eye and dove down to catch the quaffle that was flying up into the air in a perfect arch. Skie felt her fingers graze the ball ever so slightly but felt it slip just a little. Adjusting her hands quickly, Skie finally secured the ball into her hands. "Gotcha!" Skie exclaimed loudly. Tucking the ball under her arm, Skie rose up to a higher altitude to get a better view of the pitch and of where the other players where. As Skie turned though, she realized a tiny, little detail. She had forgotten to keep track of the bludgers and unfortunately, oh look! There was a nasty little bugger of a bludger aiming for her and it was going to hit her without there even being enough time to react. "Ouch." Skie said in advance, clenching her teeth to prepare for a jarring thud and a heck of a lot of pain. Hearing a ringing in her ears and a cracking near the top of her head, Skie suddenly felt faint- like and black spots began to swim in her eyes. Putting her hand up to her head, Skie felt something moist and sticky attach itself to her fingers. Almost afraid to look down, because she knew the sight of a bloody head wound would send her plummeting into the unforgiving earth below her, Skie was slightly comforted by the sight of sweat that glistened like diamonds on her hands.
"Oh my jumping broomsticks, thank Merlin." Skie murmured, closing her eyes for a moment. Looking down, Skie realized that she was still holding the quaffle, her muscles so braced for the impact of the bludger that not even the marrow shaking, bone breaking force of the little black ball could shake the qauffle from her grip. "Well, that saves me a lot of time." Skie said, mostly to herself as she tried to shake the pain that was bubbling beneath the surface of her skin, her nerves screaming for relief. "You are fine", Skie said sternly to herself, putting her screaming cells into the back of her mind.
"Hey Dragon, Rose, is there a particular move you want to perform at this time?" Skie asked as cheerfully as she could.

(umm read the rules. gotta wait till the keeper posts, or at LEAST 3 posts before you can decide the verdict of the ball!!!)(letting it slide though)
(Ravie Chaser)
Kim had dozed off at the worst possible time. The balls had been thrown into play and the Huffie's had taken it down. They had the ball again and Kim wasn't about to let them score again. SHe sat contemplating for a minute. Finally she decided what to do. Kim flew to Skie who was talking to Dragon. Kim kicked the Quaffle out of her hand and caught it up. SHe swooped past the dumbstruck Chasers and flew towards the opposite end of the pitch. Kim saw the Keeper by the hoops and hoped she could have good aim.

She zoomed down, listening to the whistle of the wind. She was starting to sweat in the heat. She concentrated as she flew the last yards. She threw the ball in the air, and hit it spinning towards the left hoop, with her broom. She hoped to see the boy dive for the wrong hoop or fumble in some way...maliciously she was thinking like a slytherin....

(sorry much, Kim, but isn't there also a rule stating that if the Keeper isn't on, you can get the point? Sorry if I'm confusing myself about that)

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose herd someone behind her mutter something. She turned her head, only to see Skie get muled by a bludger. Oh, shoot, Rose thought in horror. The Bludgers, I completly forgot about the Bludgers!

Rose flew to Skie's side as she felt her head. "Your ok, Skie. No external bleeding. That looks painful. You gonna be ok?" Dispite the blow, she still was holding the ball.

But not for long.

Kim, the RavenClaw chaser, had stolen the Quaffle from underneath all the Huffie chasers. Oops, Rose said, quicky zooming after her. Should have seen that comming....

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

Elana was heading down to the pitch and, taking a glance at her watch, saw that she should arrive right on schedule if she wasn't interrupted by the hippo or a flying monkey or something of that nature. But when her shoulder was touched and a familiar voice greeted her, she stopped and turned around. It wasn't the hippo, nor was it a flying monkey - it landed in the "something of that nature" pile, though it really wasn't of...

"I really can't talk right now," she said quickly, looking around at anything but him. "We have a game, and I'd be on time if I went now, so if you could just, y'know, wait till it's over or send up a letter or just call me sometime, that'd be better."

"I know, I'm sorry," he said softly, sounding sincere. "But this is the first time I've seen you since - since we got back. It'll just take a moment, I swear." He reached down to take her hand, and walked with her off of the path to the pitch.

...however-long-the-game-has-been-going-on later...

Smiling serenely, Elana wandered down to the changing rooms. She stayed unflustered until peeking out at the pitch to see a Hufflepuff throw the Quaffle at the hoops...the little talk had taken longer than she had expected, apparently. But hopefully being in a better mood would help them win, somehow, she thought as she changed into her robes. It was hot hot hot outside, so underneath she just had a pair of shorts and a tank. She laced up her sneakers and guards, grabbed her broom, and ran outside. Taking stock of what was going on as she kicked off, she spotted Kim with the Quaffle, thankfully. She sped up, hoping to catch up with her to help her score, but by the time she reached her Kim had thrown the Quaffle.

Slowing to a stop beside her, Elana said, "Hey Kim, so sorry I'm late! Did I miss much?"

(Yeah...it was Blaise *sniffles* Haven't seen him in ages XD Hope you don't mind me using him for an excuse, Jenn dear :D)

{Hufflepuff Seeker}

::Dani glued herself to her broom and took off after the snitch, she was weaving in and out of players and bludgers, when she lost sight of the ball. Swearing under her breath, Dani pulled out of her suicidal speed and scanned the pitch, it seemed like the game was going well, but She hadn't paid enough attention to see who was in the lead.

Swinging her feet back and forth Dani took off towards the Hufflepuff goals to see if she could get a better glance at the snitch from there.

(hufflepuff keeper)

Jamies eyes widened as he saw the ravenclaw chaser had the ball
"ohhh shoot!" he yelled a little too loud
the ball was getting closer and he waited for the moment he would hear the *ding ding ding* and the shouting of RAVENCLAW 10 POINTS but he tried to put that to the back of his mind.
Jamie started to circle the posts again keeping his eye opn the ball speeding up towards him

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"Whosa whata.... WHAT?!" Skie was totally out of it, but then, out of the blue, she realized that the quaffle was gone, no longer in her hands. "Where the heck is the quaffle? Wait... Oh crap!" Skie cursed herself with every rude profanity and that she could remember and inwardly beat herself with an iron crowbar. "Jeez you idiot! How could you not notice the quaffle being gone?" Chiding herself endlessly, Skie finally realized the obvious. Kim was trying to score, and all that stood between her goal of a Ravenclaw score and the hoop, was Jamie. 'OhMerlin'sBeard!' Skie thought, her mind racing. "How could I let this happen?" She cried as she sped towards Jamie. But, alas, Kim had already thrown the quaffle...
"Go Jamie! You can do it!" Skie yelled, bringing her broom to an abrupt halt. The goal was now in the hands of the keeper, and there was not a thing Skie could do about it. Edging in closer, but slowly, Skie prepared for the quaffle either to score, or for it to be thrown back into play. Holding her breath as the scarlet ball seemed to float through the air in slow motion, Skie gritted her teeth for what the next few seconds would hold. "C'mon, c'mon, you can do it Jamie!"

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose fallowed Skie in her mad atempt to regain control of the Quaffle, but alas, Kim was already yards away from them, and she tossed the ball in front of her, taking aim. All hope lied in the hands of the temp. Keeper, Jamie. Rose smiled. Well, that was what he was here for, to stop the Quaffle the best he could. That was all Rose, as a Captain, could ask for.

The Chaser turned to face her friend, Skie. "Good news", she began, "is that eather miss or score, Jamie is gonna throw the Quaffle back in to play. And I'm sure he's not gonna toss it to the Ravvies."

(oops sorry, i didn't really know about the 'wait three post' rule)

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Dragon gulped nervously. While she was dozing off, again, the quaffle -the dear precious lovely quaffle was gone! Gone from them! "Noooo." she yelled and like Skie she tried to chase after it but alas, it looks like the Ravenclaw Chaser was already about to score. Nervously wobbling on her broom she waited a few feet away from Skie for the ball to be blocked by the fantastic huffie keeper and thrown to them...at least that's what she was hoping will happen.

{Hufflepuff Seeker}

::Dani watched bemussed as the quaffle soared through the goal post and the Ravenclaw's cheered once they'd earned their 10 pts. Her mind was flashing back to her first year on the team as the teams keeper, she was glad Jamie was there, Dani had hated the job, but things were always interesting when the qwaffle came your way.

As Dani was gazing at Jamie she noticed the golden speck of evil floating about three feet behind him, she took off after the little bugger glueing herself to her broom once more. The wind was pushing against her blonde hair and she could feel her left shoe threatening to slip off her foot. Pushing away the thoughts of a killer 4 inch heel plumetting into the stands. The former captain was so close to the snitch now her hand almost grazing the back of the wings.

Her eyes were centered on the snitch and she didn't see the bludger coming at her, if she had she might've saved herself, but unfortunatly the black demon hit the end of her broom, sending Dani into a tail spin.

She flipped head over heels, literally, and lost sight of the snitch again. Swearing she continued moving forwards at a lesurily pace.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"Aw man," Skie groaned as the quaffle went in and the Ravenclaw's started to cheer, loudly. "Well, at least we're tied... Good job anyway, Jamie!" Skie looked anxiously for the quaffle, now that Ravenclaw had scored one goal, Skie was definitely hoping they wouldn't make another. "Oh where, oh where has my quaffle gone? Oh where, oh where could it be? With it's... There it is!" Skie had been singing cheerfully when the ruby flash of quaffle passed through her range of vision. Ducking down a little farther to pull the quaffle into her arms, Skie felt her fingers clutch for the enchanted to fall slowly quaffle, but sighed when they touched the air where the quaffle had been only seconds before. Dropping down a few meters, Skie reached for the quaffle again, this time certain that she would be holding it in her arms soon. Feeling the slick leather of the ball, Skie did a little move called the Huffle Shuffle to get the qauffle more firmly into her hands. Shuffling on her broom, Skie shifted her weight to get a better grip on the ball. Then, waving to Dragon and Rose to follow, Skie began the trek over to the Ravvie goalpost.

(hufflepuff chase and captain)

Rose sighed as she saw the Quaffle brush past Jamie's hand and soar into the goal. She put a smile on and also told the Keeper to cheer up and keep doing his best. She tightened up on her broom as she spotted the Quaffle, but luckily Skie was already half way to it. Rose sat back on her broom til her friend recovered the red ball and headed to the RavenClaw goals, yet again. Rose fallowed, hoping that Dragon would as well.

"So, Skie, what's the plan?" Rose sped up to her side and waited for her plan, if she had one.

{Hufflepuff Seeker}

::Dani caught her breath and gazed around herself for the golden ball, her eyes were playing tricks on her making it seem like twenty of the little demons had just appeared from no where, sighing the blonde rubbed her eyes and looked for the snitch.

"Here Snitchy Snitchy!" She called whistling. But the snitch was no where to be found, sighing Dani turned her back on where her eyes had just been, as another bludger wizzed by her ear.

Swearing she resumed her search.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"TO SCORE AND SHOW THOSE RAVENCLAW'S THAT BADGERS ARE BEST!" Realizing what Rose was actually asking about though, Skie blushed and said, "Wait, oh, that kind of plan... How about a Badger Barrel? I think that that's appropriate for the circumstances..." Skie looked at Rose, hoping for a yes. The Badger Barrel was one of the most fun Hufflepuff quidditch moves, and could involve a lot of dizzy- making, upside down, blood rushing to the head- yness. "I'm open to suggestion though, after all, the goal is still to score, in no matter what way, shape or form." Skie clutched the quaffle tightly to her, there was no chance of anyone taking her beautiful ball from her again. "By the way, Dani, are you okay?" Dani had just had a bludger incident, thank the quidditch gods that it missed. Doing a few loops and experiencing the adrenaline rush that the feel of the world spinning by her always left, Skie looked back at Rose, but kept her eyes peeled for any possibility of attack from bludgers, players, or flying marshmallows.

{Hufflepuff Seeker}

::Dani looked at Skie and gave a thumbs up, "Yeah," she said, "I'm just fine."

As dani was looking at the Chaser she saw the gold demon just behind her right shoulder. A smile spread across Dani's face, as she took off after the ball again.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"Heya fellow badgers." she yelled as she flew round and round Skie and Rose. Pulling to a stop beside them she gave them a wave. "If you need my help just call. I'll be flying around." she informed them. With that, she pulled her broom up and scanned the pitch. Her current self appointed job was to watch out for the players on her team. 1)See if any bludgers were trying to get close to anyone 2)See if any of the chasers were coming to steal the ball again 3)Tell her teammates how to win. For example, tell Dani the snitch was by her shoulder.

"Ohh DANII!" she yelled, "Scratch your left shoulder for me."

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"Thanks Dragon," Skie called in response. "Hm... now... what to do, what to do. Oh, right, I'm gonna go put the quaffle into a Ravvie goal!" Skie looked around for a few seconds and then sped off to the goalpost, doing a few quick barrels rolls that induced some red faced- ness to throw off any bludgers on her tail. As the wind began to get harder as Skie sped along, she felt her ponytail be yanked in every way the wind would pull. Clutching the quaffle tightly beneath her arm, Skie glanced over her should at midfield to check for bludgers, and Ravenclaws. "The coast is clear..." Skie muttered as she sped closer and closer to the Ravvie goal and prepared to throw the qauffle. Weaving back and forth in front of the goals as quickly as Timothy would allow, Skie was a gold and black blur of speed. Then, Skie decided that she would throw the quaffle. "You've totally got to make this..." Skie growled under her breath. Still pacing as fast as she could in front of the goals, Skie suddenly stopped, prayed to all things that the quidditch gods loved, and then coiled her arms to shoot the quaffle.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose nodded and grinned at Skie. "Haha, I like the first plan too. The Huffle Barrel's a good move to do right now. It might take that Keeper by surprise." She turned her head to see Dragon comming up on them. Rose nodded in ignolagement to her plan to watch there back. Also, now she showed Dani where the Snitch was, the Hufflepuff Seeker was on her way, pushing them to victory.

She fallowed Skie to the goals, and waited eargirly to see if the ball went in.
