Eliza's Defence Against the Dark Arts class

First topic message reminder :

Eliza strode in the classroom, and put her papers on her desk. She was nervous, it was her first time as a teacher. But she mastered her anxiousness, and made the chalk write on it's own on the blackboard. Eliza sat down behind her desk, and waited for her students to arrive.

Natalie looked shocked, but didn't say anything, but shook Holly awake; she didn't like when her friends got yelled at or points taken off them.

Holly jerked awake quickly.
"WOW- ITS IN THE SAFE! LEMME ALONE- I....oh....hey profez....sorry about that. Late night....if you know what i mean...,"

Natalie looked at Holly.

"You. Are. A. Prefect!" Natalie hissed, pointing at her own badge to remind Holly.

"I still dont know how that happened," Holly said, thoughtfully loosing track of everything else.

Hayley looked at Holly, and apologised on her behalf, "Sorry Profez, Holly has this disorder, where she justs sleeps sometimes," she said, trying to soud convincing.

That girl can lie, Natalie thought to herself.

"Its true," Holly said, equally convincingly, "Id give you a doctors note...but I dont have a doctor....,"
She nodded gratefully at Hayley.

Natalie chose not to say anything. She couldn't lie for toffee, even though it was very tasty.

Toffee is tasty.....
Holly thought absently, pondering whether Eliza was going to say anything anytime soon.

NAtalie was worried about Eliza. She seemed to be in a state of shock, for no apparent reason.

Hayley frowned at Eliza, a tad concerned, "Profez?" she asked, "Arii?"

"OI!" Holly said promptly, "PROFEZ IS MY WORD WOMAN!"

Hayley stuck her tongue out. "Whatever..." she muttered.

Natalie was starting to get worried about Professor Eliza.

"Wha' eva' minga'," Holly muttered, sticking her tounge out.

Natalie gave Holly a look of contempt.

Holly returned the look and then made the rock sign to Natalie.

Natalie smiled and did the same, but then remembered her composure and sat up straight again.

"You have ISSUES!" Holly said to her, and lay back in her seat, "Do you think 'Liza went into some kind of trance?"

"I don't know," said Natalie, "maybe we should give her a little poke...you know...to make sure she's ok."

"Lets do that!" Holly said, the most enthusiastic she'd been all lesson.
She poked Eliza on the shoulder.
"Eliza- Profez- Proff- Proffessor,"
She had called her the wrong name thrice in a row.

"Ok....I think thats enough...maybe we should try reading quietly while Professor Eliza gathers herself," said Natalie.

Holly snorted but then saw something in Natalies face.
"Gosh, you were serious? Well you can read, Im going to write stuff on the board....,"
Holly did so.

Natalie scowled.

"Stop it Holly...what does that even mean?" she said, pointing at a rude phrase Holly had written on the board.

Natalie decided not to press matters and took out her book, "More facts on possessed dolls and what to do if they feel sad."

"I cant tell you," Holly said grinning, "You're too young my love!"
She pranced around with the chalk still in her hand.

"Excuse me...I'm freakin' older than you," said Natalie.

Hayley grinned at what Holly had written on the board, then using her wand began to write things on it too.

Natalie did not approve of this rumpass, so she sat quietly, reading her book.

"Oh come now Nerd," Holly said pityingly, "'Liza wont care if you join in. S'not like you'll get expelled or something, you have a clean record!"

"I. am. I. prefect," said Natalie, scowling, "and I would rather like to keep my badge, thank you very much."

"Fine, be that way," Holly said shrugging, and continued to prance and sing, happily.

Natalie started doing some of the theory work that was in her DADA book.

"Whatcha doin?" Holly said, though she was not interested, "Is it cool? Can I see? Lemme see-"
But she accidently tipped a bottle of ink over it.
"Oh checkerboard," Holly said, and began to run.

"Hol-ly," said Natalie, before removing the ink from her work with her wand and continuing with it.

Holly continued to run, convinced at some stage she would be so annoying that Natalie would have to chase her. It would be fun.

"Fine," Natalie said, and she began to chase Holly around the room. It was just like only times.

Holly couldnt remember when they had ever done this before, but if they had ever, it was just like old times.

It was like old times when they used to chase each other at the movies when no one else was seeing the film but them and they had the theatre to themselves.

Holly remembered the old times and laughed about it, just in time she hurdled over a fallen desk, wondering why Eliza wasnt yelling at her.

Natalie attempted to corner Holly by running close to her.

Holly laughed and summoned a box from the corner to go behind her, hoping it would slow Natalie down in making her have to run around it.

Natalie whipped out her wand and gave it a swish to the right. It was like a magnetic force that moved the box out of the way. Natalie ran towards Holly and caught her.

"Your it," she said in a baby voice, and ran to the back of the classroom.

Holly took out her own holly and dragon heartstring eleven and six eighths of an inch wand and said, "So thats how we're playin huh?"
She cast a disarming charm rather expertly at Natalie.

Natalie dodged it equally expertly.

She held her 10 1/2 inch vine-wood and unicorn hair wand over her head and pointed it in Holly's direction.

She cast the same spell at Holly.

Holly wasnt watching and so was caught off guard, her wand flying across the room and her falling flat on her back in the classroom grinning, and out of breath.
"I have taught you a little TOO well" she said.

"Please...I taught myself that spell on the first day I came here," said Natalie grinning at Holly and holding out a hand to help her up.

Holly acted as if she was taking Natalie's hand, but insted snatched her wand and dove up without using her hands, to point Natalies wand at her chest.
"Taught yourself that?" she asked grinning.

"Yes," said Natalie, snatching her wand out of Holly's hand, "yes I did."

"Sure you did babe," Holly said grinning her trademark grin, she then swaggered to her desk and sat down before producing a bottle of Firewhiskey and taking a long swig.

"Hol-ly...you can't drink that in class," said Natalie, "you could get drunk."
