Eliza's Defence Against the Dark Arts class

Eliza strode in the classroom, and put her papers on her desk. She was nervous, it was her first time as a teacher. But she mastered her anxiousness, and made the chalk write on it's own on the blackboard. Eliza sat down behind her desk, and waited for her students to arrive.

Natalie entered the class and recognised an old Hogwarts graduate, and her good friend, Eliza.

Natalie sat down like in any normal class and smile at her new teacher, waiting for the class to begin

"Yo 'Liza!" Holly said, taking a seat next to Natalie, "WAZZZZZZZZAP!"

"Hol-ly," Natalie whispered, "she's our teacher now....it's Professor to us."

Hayley walked in. "ELIZ- Proffessor....hey," she said smiling, and sitting next to her friends

Eliza gave Holly a stern look.
"Hello, Professor, how are you? Is acceptable.... wazzap, however, isn't. I'm a teacher now, so live with it." There was a shadow of a smile which disappeared immeaditately.
"So... I think we can start. No need to introduce myself, so we'll get straight to it. What year are you all in, again?"

Hayley put up her hand, then spoke, "Third year Eliz- Proffessor," she said.

"Thank you, and I belive Nattie and Hol- Miss Paterson and Miss Bristol are in fourth year. Good. Well, we'll start with wand use. Books away and wands out, please." She sat on her desk as she waited for her class to be ready.

Hayley put her books in her Vans rucksack, and pulled her wand out from her robes. Normally, school was a bore for her, but this was Defence, and her old friend was teaching her. She smiled, ready to start.

Natalie took her defense books out of her Good Guy rucksack and sat up, listening intently.

Eliza tapped Natalie's desk with a long finger.
"Books away, Miss Paterson. Wand out. Today is a pratical lesson, and I hope you'll enjoy it." She paused, then whispered out of the corner of her mouth to Nalalie, "I'm I doing good?"

"YES!" Holly yelled in a whisper across the classroom, "Oops. Sorry Profez,"

Hayley giggled quietly, and nodded encouragingly at her new teacher.

"Yes Professor...you're doing great...that was even scary...thought you were yelling at me," said Natalie, putting her books away and whipping her wand out of her pocket.

"AW!" Holly crooned at Natalie, "You are sweet peoples. So anyways, what are we gonna learn today dude?"

Eliza raised an eyebrow.
"Dude isn't acceptable either. Please call me miss, or professor." She sat at her desk. "Now, we're going to practice throwing off a Boggart. I thought that this would be a good way to warm up, before we begin the term properly."

"Nice idea D- Profez," Holly said grinning, "An' how do we do that?"

"I take it the Boggart is in there," said Natalie, pointing to the cupboard in the corner.

Hayley glanced round to a large cupboard which was shaking.

Natalie stepped forward.

"Shall I go first?" she asked promptly.

"If you wish," Holly said, but then looked at Eliza, "Sorry. If Profez says you can,"

Natalie waited for Eliza to give the go ahead.

"Yo Profez!" Holly said, coming to stand beside Natalie, "If you DONT want Nat to go ahead, say something right now....,"
There was silence.
"Go ahead NatNerd," she said shrugging.

Natalie stepped forward.

She took her wand out and gave it an odd little apprehensive flick.

The door of the cupboard swung open and out stepped Professor McGonagall.

"Miss Patterson," she said, "I am sorry to say that you have been expelled from Hogwarts."

"No....NO! RIDIKILUS!" yelled Natalie, and the boggart changed to Holly, who dropped dead on the spot.

"NO! RIDIKILUS!" yelled Natalie again, and the boggart Holly got up and said to word, "PURPLEMONKEYDISHWASHER!"

Natalie grinned and laughed.

"Ok...you're turn Holly," said Natalie still laughing madly.

"Very nice, Miss Paterson, just don't panic. Next, Miss Bristol." She said, "Quickly now."

Natalie smiled and went to the back of the queue.

Hayley watched intensly, and waited for her turn.

"Do you want to go now?" Natalie asked Hayley, as Holly seemed to have gone into spasum.

Jamie w2alked in and sat down he wasn't really late he was too much of a swat

"Hello," said Natalie to Jamie, "you want to banish the boggart next?"

"Oh! Sorry!" Holly said, coming out of her daydream, "I think I'll go if ya dont mind,"

She stood and faced the other her, and thought of what scared her the most.
A dead spider monkey flickered onto the spot, then a dead Natalie, a dead Hayley, a dead Shadow, dead Eliza, dead Zeke and then stopped on Holly again. A frightened Holly image.
Holly was confused as to why it was just het being frightened, but quickly turned the quivering shape into a book entitled "Chicken Wars". Holly's favourite book of all time, which was hilarious.

She glanced at Eliza.
"How was that?"

"That was awsome.

((Lol...does the book contain Chicken Wars, Chicken Wars 2 and Murrey the Chipmunk?))

Holly smiled.
"Thanks dood," she said and looked at Eliza.
"What if shes fainted standing up with her eyes open?" she aked worridly, noting Eliza.

"She's meditating," said Natalie.

"How do YOU know?" Holly asked eyebrows raised, "YO! PROFEZ! ELIZA! HELLOOOO!"

Jamie stood up next as darkness cleared around them.... it was pitch black and strange noises where issuing from a corner....
"ridikkulas!" Jamie whispered after about 5 minutes of moaning....
he stood black while a sun appeared in the corner making the noise to be a small cute kitten

"Nice," Holly said approvingly, "Very nice,"
She held her hand up for a high five.

Natalie thought the kitten look very cute.

Hayley turned to face the boggart, and it changed into a number of things. First a clown.....dead Holly, dead Natalie.....dead family...two strange looking dolls. She stepped back as these images flickered, showing her the things she dreaded most. "Riddikulus!" she said loudly, and the image of Chucky and Tiffany turned into a laughing Holly and Hayley, telling the tales of all the silly things they got up to.

Eliza had been busy putting away some papers, and looked up as they each in turn fought the boggart.
"Good. Well, you know that... I'll just be a moment." Eliza started rooting through the drawers in her desk.

Hayley frowned, then sat down in her seat.

Natalie also sat down, wondering what they would be doing next.

Holly lolled around in her seat, feet up on the seat in front.
"I reckon we should all get free slushies just for COMING INTO class....,"
She buyt her heands behind her head and lay back, trying to sleep.

Hayley sighed, and gave Holly a light slap on the head. "Dude....defence against the dark arts! C'mon, we're here to learn," She hissed. "I know, I don't particularly like school either..."

"You can't speak to a teacher like that Holly," Nataliue hissed.

Hayley nodded, and said, "Yeah Holly!" but jokingly.

Natalie looked at Hayley.

"I was being serious...I want to be a prefect," she said, sitting up, but then she grinned, "but I want to be a weird prefect though."

"Oh, I know," said Hayley, "I wouldn't mind being one too, the rebelious type though," she added grinning.

"I wont get prefect," Holly said, eyes still closed, "Im too tired....,"
She muttered something and turned over.

Eliza found what she was looking for, and frowned as she saw Hooly asleep. She walked up to Holly's desk, and slammed a ruler down hard next to Holly's ear on the wood.
"I don't tolerate sleeping in my class. It'll be 5 points from gryffindor if your not careful."
