Defense Against the Dark Arts Class [Jona + Alice]

Jona took the long piece of chalk gracefully in her hands, almost invisible against her pale white skin. She wrote on the board the subject and both hers and Alice's names.

Defense Against the Dark Arts
Miss. Marie & Miss. Lovegood

She realized the texture of the chalk and ran her fingertips along it. Jona's face scrunched, showing signs of contemplation and deep thought.

"Alice... Come here and feel this chalk!!" She shouted across the room to grab her attention waiting for her to fly across the room in a heartbeat.

"jona miss lovegood honestly?" Alice walked over there and with a flick of her wand wrote alice instead of miss lovegood.
"i am only your assistant teacher i dont have to be formally addressed by my last name" Alice grabbed the chalk.
"what about the chalk?' she asked feeling it over in her fingertips.

"Dont changed the subject even if I asked you to touch the chalk!" Jona took out her wand and undid the inchantment on Alice's name. "Its going to be Ms. Lovegood whether you like it or not.. but only on the board you dont have to go by it!" Jona insisted.

"wwwwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyy" she whined.
"i hate my last name can i use an old one?" Alice suddgessted trying to edit the name on the board.
"but seriusly wat was with the chalk?" Alice asked now wondering why jona called her over.

"Sure but Magonagal said it had to be formal.. so im just writing it on everything but people can call us by out first names.." Jona laughed and waited for Alice to change the board.

"Feel this.. its like tire hair!!" She announced amazed. "Dosent it??"

"ya alittle i guess i just dont tend to pay attention to chalk to much" Alice giggled.
"what last name should i use how about sattison remeber that one i was alicia sattison" Alice giggled over all the names she had used then changed the board so it said miss sattison instead of lovegood.

"And you feel okay being Alice Sattison?" She asked wondering if later she would remember and recall the distant memories that had haunted her for years.

"yes because if i say i am alice lovegood everyone will be like oh great my teacher is a lunatic" she said laughing at her reasoning.

"Ah yes good point..." She agreed nodding her head laughing quietly.

"oh thanks for the support" she said shoving her slightly.

"Your welcome!" She chirped playfully. "Now what do we need to do to be defence against the dark arts teachers?"

"i dont know not die" alice said sarchastically.

"Well that will be a great day wouldnt it.. 'Welcome class.. todays lesson: How not to die'." Jona said sarcasticly.

"ya isnt that are job teach them how to stay alive" alice said joking back elbowing her.

"Oh yeah you see ever class starting out say your motivation in life is to not die..." Jona said nudging her back laughing lightly.

"its short simple and to the point" alice said waving a wand making the bored say "lesson one how not to die".

Jona laughed hystarically as she watched Alice write on the board, their new lesson plan.
"Now we wait for students?" She guessed.

"well we kind of need them in order to have a class" she said rolling her eyes playfully at Jona.

Jona flashed her eyes back on alice with a fresh idea.
"Maybe if we stand outside they'll come to us!" She said knowing it was more than just giving students a clear idea that a class is in session.
(mwahahaha i wanna bring harry, ron and hermione into this.. it sounds fun xD)

"no thats a horribal idea we would scare them away before they even see are lesson" she said luaghing joyfully.

"Maybe but thats just a fair warning for whats in store for them." Jona said with a smirk on her face, then without any seriousness laughed.

"fine" alice said starting to walk towards the door.

Jona followed smoothing out her blouse and ruffled her curly hair. She opened the door to a busseling croud of students like her, though they werent pale, beautiful and immortal. No they were wizard of all shapes, colors and ages passing buy working to grow and learn to do something with the years they had.

"omg there going to think were lesbos" alice said laughing quietly.

"Wow thats so true..." Jona said realizing was Alice had ment laughing. "Lets hope not!"

"gosh were more like kids then are students will be" she said walking back into the class room and sitting down in a chair at her desck.

Jona stood in the frame of the door while Alice moved to sit down at the desks. She laughed lightly watching the students walk by. A small group was different than the rest. Jona could fell a wave of charisma and pride. One stood out from the rest, his thoughts much to strong for Jona to understand. He was brave and had fought many battles.

His scuffy hair, glasses and bright green eyes didnt give him independence, instead his entire image was centered around one key feature. A bolted scar holding all his past. His friends were different as well though their past was not nearly as traumatic though they were always by his side. Jona could sense love and affection between two, an energetic red head and a puffy curled, browned eyed girl who's itellect was as bright and close to the level of Jona's own. This supprised her, how bright this witch was compared to the rest she heard. She was beautiful and the tall male continuesly watched her.

Jona was eager and suddenly wanted to know more about this strange group. They were expecting another, the red's sister and idol of the scared one. Jona hoped that once they rejoined together they would make there way done the hall and into the room to learn "how not to die". She assumed Alice would be interesting with them as well.

alice rolled her eyes slightly.
stop reading are students thoughts how about we learn about them the old fashion way and not by reading there own personal memoirys she thought to jona giggiling randomly as ussual.

Jona looked back at Alice with a bright smile and gleam in her eyes.
"You dont understand.. they arent like the rest!" She exclaimed though she knew Alice didnt know who she was talking about. "I dont even know if hes a student of ours." But she sure did hope so, detirmined to know more.

"ugh i dont care its not nice and not fair just try to ignore it please atleast for today" alice pleaded jona to not use her power nicely.

"I am using it nicly! Ive done nothing wrong with it..." Jona countered hearing Alice's opinion in her thoughts. "I promise I will try but it wont be easy, i hear them volinatarily... i have no choice."

"i know i know but you can ignore them its like if someone is talking you ignore me when i am talking all the time cant you do the same thing" alice said laughing slightly.

Jona laughed hystarically as Alice brought of the topic of ignoring her.
"What makes you think i ignore you?" She asked with a large grin on her face.

"well you do" alice said out in the open plain and simply.

Jona rolled her eyes and heared the group moving.
"Alice I think we have some students coming.." She said in an exited tone.

"great what do you want me to do?" she asked.
"ussually we wait till all the students get hear before we start teaching just to refresh your memoiry" alice said playfully.

"Yeah yeah yeah.." Jona smirked laughing. "I was just saying, be ready because they are..."

"there just students with magical powers why do i need to prepare... wow never thought i would say that sentance" alice said smiling back and opening up a book.

Jona let out a weak laugh and sat down herself. "I guess your right.." She said with a sigh, "But you know, this is a new experience."

"egh" alice surged it really was no big deal and she was the one that over exagerated here jona is flipin out over it.

"For me..." Jona corrected in a motherly tone giving Alice a strange, watchful look. "Maybe not for you.. but for me."

"well have we already scared them away or are are students invisable?" alice asked changing the subject.

"No they're all outside..." Jona said monotone as she always had. She knew these things naturally, even as a human she had a strange intuition and unatural background knowledge of everyone.

"oh well fine harsh my mellow" she said giggily.

Jona playfully stuck out her tongue. She moved to the seat behind the desk and sat down in the chair. "But they might be too scared to come inside.. maybe theyre just waiting to see if we'll do something."

"whats ther to do i thought we had to talk alot and hand out books its like the easiest job why do you think i sighned up for it" alice said laughing. the board still saying how not to die made her almost want to contain her laughter so that seemed like the real lesson.

"Ah no.. I thought this was a chance to hex the children into a state of absent mindness and total controll?" Jona whinned playfully.

"yes because that wouldnt get us fiered at all" alice said sarchastically.

"No it would be great... the children would actually know what they're looking forward to in the real world." Jona said sticking her tongue out and biting it playfully. "No serious, what good would it do if we didnt give them some backbone?" She finished, her voice more authoritive.

"i dont know i was kind of just hopeing they would figure it out for thereselfs" alice said jokeingly.
