Weather: Blazing almost blinding sun threatens to make some people gave in under the hotness!

Remember to observe the new Quidditch rules: day one is for arriving to the pitch, after which the referee will post and the game can properly begin and chasers can no longer immediately state that they have scored. They must wait for the Keeper to post. See this post for more info.

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

June had a feeling that she needed to be somewhere. Looking at her metaphorical state, she concluded that today, she was only a third ghostly, not like the one half that she'd been before. She smiled as she realized that that Quidditch game must have really helped her get back into the swing of things. She would forever be grateful to her future self, as well as future!Cris, whom she was sure had prodded her future self until said self had written that letter.

June hummed happily - Let me Take You There was stuck in her head, by the Plain White T's - as she walked towards her window. Unlike many other days, June didn't need the blur of players, an alarm clock, or a letter to remind her that Quidditch was today. No, today, June could feel it. She could feel the anticipation running through her veins, tickling at her fingertips, making her whole body practically dizzy with excitement. And this, of course, had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that right next to her on the wall was a calendar with this day circled in bright red, with QUIDDITCH GAME written in gold glitter. Of course not, perish the thought.

Turning away from her window and her wall, June skipped out the door, down the stairs, and into the Hogwarts corridors. She smiled and waved at her friends, though she still felt a tiny bit invisible. Her feet tapped out an uneven rhythm as she continued to skip towards the Gryffindor Locker Room. When she reached it, June quickly slipped inside and walked to her locker. This time when she opened it, she wasn't met with the sight of a dusty bat and broom. No, this time, they were both sparkling clean, her broom especially, since she'd gotten Aethera checked up after the last game against Ravenclaw.

She put her robes on before tying her Gryffie clip into her hair. This would be a good game; she could feel it. Grabbing her nice shiny bat and broom, she skipped outside. For a moment, June was almost blinded by the sun and she ducked her head and raised her hand, allowing herself to see a little. This would be a strange game.

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

::Dani wandered out onto the pitch, she was wearing her killer heels again, she loved those shoes. It was very hot outside and she could already feel herself beginning to sweat along her bra straps. She pouted slightly and pulled out her wand, with a flick of her wrist and some unaudiable latin words, her Yellow and Black robes lost their long sleeves leaving her arms bare and white. Flicking her wrist again, she summonded some tan lotion and rubbed it along her arms. Smiling at the slowly bronzing skin, she peered around the pitch. Almost blinded by the sun.

"Wow," She said. "Bright isnt it?" Pulling from her pocket some glasses she'd bought on holiday the previous week, she placed them over her blue eyes, with another flick of her wrist and wand she made a temporary sticking charm, so her glasses wouldn't fall during the game.

Finally she mounted her broom and kicked off into the air, soaring around for a second she saw RhiannonMei and waved, it didn't matter that the other girl was Gryffindor, she was still a good person. Making her way over towards Rhia she smiled, "Hey," She said.::

(COMMENTATOR)

From her prime viewing position up in the stands, Elana smiled as she looked out over the pitch. It was sunny out today - totally opposite from their last game! Lucky, she thought, wishing that her game had had such nice weather. Though maybe not so much sun, since the game had hardly begun and she had already peeled off her sweatshirt and had to borrow a pair of sunglasses from a spectator. She needed them more than her, of course. How was she supposed to commentate if she couldn't see what was going on? Even though trading a pair of sunglasses for week's worth of tutoring in Arithmancy didn't seem too fair, she was glad to have them. Setting down her sweatshirt at her feet and pulling her hair back into a messy bun, she took the mic and said, "Welcome, everyone, to the fifteenth Quidditch match of the season! Featuring the star players from Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, this is bound to be a terrific game! So far, we've got Captain Beater June for Gryffindor, and Seeker Dani for Hufflepuff."

Seeing that the ref hadn't come out to start the game yet so there was need for entertainment, she asked, "So, who's here for Gryffindor?" She waited a moment before asking, "And for Hufflepuff?"

Arguing about which was the better team, which players would score/block/hit/etc., and out-shouting the others should keep the crowd occupied, Elana reasoned, fanning herself as she leaned back against the scoreboard. With any luck, it wouldn't be reading 0-0 for long...and it would cool off a bit.

Erika walked onto the pitch ready, she didnt like that something come up right before the game started it wasnt fair to her. She was ready as she could every be now. The weather was great and she was happy.
"wow" she said as she moved to the middle with her broom in her hand. "its game time" and she flew into the air.

(Gryffindor Chaser and Co-captain)

"Uh la, la, mais comme il fait chaud!", Cris exclaimed letting herself fall onto the bench in the Gryffindor locker room. She was already wet under her - admittedly, long and dark - jeans and her dark green t-shirt. She had to rest for a few minutes until she could stand up again, then she decided nothing could be better than a cold shower. She indeed felt much better after it, but didn't feel at all willing to slip into her regular, much too thick Quidditch robes.

Cramming through the pile of clothes on a chair that belonged to her, she kept muttering, ".. mais ou est-ce que c'est?! .. C'etait ici, ou non?" ... "Ah, voila!", she shouted as she finally found what she was looking for - the red and gold bikini she had bought last week. Smiling happily, she proceeded with applying sunblock to her cheesy-white body, tying her hair into a ponytail and putting on a white cap. "The pool party ... err game... can start now, I'm ready!", she thought grabbing her broom and stepping out.

Before she could even look who was playing, she heard a bell from the distance, then a voice that seemed to be approaching, that yelled, "HEALTHY REFRESHMENTS FOR ALL PLAYERS! MAKE WAY, MAKE WAY!". Cris wondered what that could be, then a small cart with a purple umbrella turned around the corner and parked right onto to the locker rooms' exit area. Curious by nature, Cris quickly tiptoed towards the cart - "Anything yummy?", she asked. "Mais bien sur!", the purple hippo tending to it answered, "Any fruit juice your heart might ever desire! Served cooled!". - "For free?!", Cris asked not believing her own ears. - "Oui, c'est gratuit et c'est pour tous!".

Cris gleefully grabbed a glass of grapefruit juice, drank it out, thanked, and flew up. It was going to be an awesome game, she thought as she greeted the others - Juneybug, Dani, Erika and Elana, the commentator. Surely, having the sun in her eyes would be quite distressing at times, but at least she had her cap to protect her a bit.

(Referee)

Amy flew onto the pitch, squinting into the sunlight.

She had the crate of Quidditch balls hoisted under one arm, and as soon as she reached the right height she lifted the latch to release the bludgers and the snitch.

She then tossed the Quaffle up into the air.

"Let the game begin!"

(hufflepuff beater)

Jamie rushed onto the pitch half dressed.. he couldn't believe he was late!
"gezzz we to go wand alarm!" he mumbled to himself... he saw all the balls go up oin the air...
"uh oh!"
Jamie mounted his broom and kicked off hard flying as fast as he could up...
"come on... you slow piece of rubbish!" Jamie yelled at his broom.....
"humph! nimbus 2000'the fastest most reliable broom my/" he was cut off by a bludger heading his way, he batted it off towards the Gryffindor chaser....
"can't loose this time!" Jamie whispered to himself

(Gryffindor Chaser and Co-captain)

Cris had already finished flying around the pitch a few times, as she saw Amy enter with the balls. "Let the game begin!", she heard Amy say as she released the balls. Cris nodded her head excitedly, she was really determined that Gryffindor should win this time .. and have lots of fun! She looked towards Erika and hoped her teammate was ready for some good Chaser action - after all, it wouldn't be very hard, with no Hufflepuff Chaser there yet.

Full of energy, as she always felt when the sun shined, she dashed forwards to the Quaffle and caught it lightly in one hand. It felt pleasantly warm and smooth, but she realised it might become even warmer as the game progressed, due to the strong sun - depending on how long they played, there was a chance it might even become hot, but Cris didn't think it would be too soon. Instead, she could imagine the black bludgers would absorb the heat much faster ... brr, Cris didn't want to think how a burning hot bludger hit would feel like. "But enough philosophizing around!", Cris thought and sped forwards, keeping an eye on Erika to pass to her.

She was still flying straight and going through all the steps of a new Gryffindor Quidditch move the team had recently designed, as she suddenly noticed something small and black moving towards her from the light. She squinted but almost had to look at the sun to recognise it properly, which made it almost impossible to tell how soon it - the Bludger, of course - would reach her. All she knew was that in not more than an instant, she could hear how its heavy mass cut the air and that told her it was pretty dang fast.

And then it all happened in a split of a second, as she instinctively applied the bludger-avoiding technique the team had practiced for too many painful hours, until it grew to be a reflex: The Artistic Dive. This meant that the broom would keep its horizontal position, while she turned around it. "Whooooop! Adrenaliiine!", she shouted laughing as she hanged with her head downwards. She looked up - ouch, the sun was blinding!, but at least the Bludger seemed to be gone for the moment, so she balanced her weight to both sides in turn, until she managed to sit upright on her broom again.

"Juneybug, that bludger's yours, have the pleasure!", she shouted giggling over to her sister and teammate.

She then decided it was high time to proceed to her main Chaser job, namely goal-scoring. "Erika, I'll pass!", she shouted, then streched out the arm in which she had held the Quaffle, to throw it. But - surprise, surprise! - there was nothing to throw! She'd obviously been such a nutter and let the Quaffle fall while preoccupied with not being hit by that nasty Bludger. "Now I know what needs to be worked on with that technique: not losing the Quaffle while doing it!", she thought angrily while looking down - where in the world had the Quaffle disappeared to?! ... All she could see where red and green and yellow little stars, the results of looking towards the sun. She rubbed her eyes, but still couldn't see anything, so she decided to call over to her teammates.

"Hey, can anyone who's *not* blinded by the sun maybe see the Quaffle?! - because I certainly can't!"

(COMMENTATOR)

"And we've got two more Gryffies on the pitch!" Elana said, much to their supporters' delight. "Chasers Erika and Cris, who's also a Captain, have arrived. Welcome to the game, girlies, you're right on time! Here's Amy with the crate of balls...The balls are thrown, the whistle blown, and the game has begun! The Quaffle goes to Cris of Gryffindor, and she's already heading down pitch, making good time. But who's this? We've another Hufflepuff, folks! Beater Jamie of Hufflepuff has come, and isn't wasting any time - he's already sent a Bludger at the Quaffle-bearing Cris!" She watched with bated breath as the Bludger neared her friend, and sighed with relief when the Bludger passed over her instead of rushing into her. "And she's safe - no trip to the Hospital Wing yet today! But what's the Quaffle doing way down there? How's she going to score without it?"

(Gryffindor Seeker)

Pamela woke to a blinding light coming in through the dormitory window. "Ach! What is that?" She yelled, no longer worried about waking her dorm-mates. They were never there anyway. Shielding her eyes, Pamela walked over to the window, pulled out a wand and, with a flick of the wrist thick blinds came down over the window. "Bloody sun," she muttered, putting her wand on the stand. "Wait, how high was that sun?!" She pulled back the blinds and saw that it must be much later then she realized. Looking at her clock, she quickly confirmed that thought. "Late!!" she yelled as she began rummaging through her trunks. From the look of the sun, and the feel of the air in the dorm, it was going to be quite hot. Finally she found a tank top and a pair of shorts. The top was gold, the shorts red. Before putting them on, she threw on some sunblock. "Wrinkles and cancer are not for me," she said to no one in particular.

When she was finally ready, she practically flew down the stairs and out the door, a pair of red and gold sunglasses in her hand. She was stopped along the way by none other than Peeves. He was blocking the door to the locker room. "In a hurry?" he said to Pamela in a sing-song voice.

"Out of my way Peeves!" She yelled back.

"What's the password?" He taunted. Pamela just showed him a rude gesture, growled and stormed off. I'll just go the long way. She was still fuming when she made it down to the pitch. Keeping close to the locker area, and out of the way of the game, she walked into the exit of her locker room. She grabbed her broom, which was back fresh from a much needed tune-up, out of her locker and stormed out onto the pitch.

The balls had already been released and the seeker, her good friend Dani, was already out. Immediatly, Pamela began her search. The catch wouldn't be as easy this time as it was the last match. She was flying in a kind of Angry Lion manuever. Much to fast and giving the appearance of having little control. She did have plenty control in reality, though.

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

"Hey Dani!" June said, waving to the Hufflepuff who had greeted her. In the air, she began to warm up, looping and practicing sudden starts and stops. After getting checked up, Aethera was now flying as if she was brand new. "Eek!" June squeaked as, when braking, Aethera was a bit too precise and June almost flew off her broom. Her little bit of ghostliness and her fantastic feeling-like-new Aethera were going to take some getting used to.

As she scanned the air, June smiled as she heard Elana's voice booming across the Pitch and her smile widened at the sight of a Gryffindor Chaser. Before long, another Gryffindor Chaser flew into the air and June squealed with delight at the sight of her sister and fellow Co-captain. June continued to practice and soon, she saw Amy fly out and released the balls.

"Here we go!" June shouted as she took off flying through the air, heading towards a bludger. Now that she thought about it, her bludger wasn't exactly the best choice since it was farther away from her than it looked and looked feisty as well. "Oh yippee," she muttered under her breath as she continued to fly. June narrowed her eyes against the sun, but without a cloud in sight, it didn't help very much. Suddenly, a blur of yellow and black flew in front of her and June had to brake quickly to keep from smashing into the end of the player's broom. When she'd regained her balance - yes, she admitted that Aethera's fantastic precision could be a bit of a disadvantage - June saw that the Hufflepuff had stolen the bludger she had been aiming for... and it was now heading for Cris.

June turned her broom, this time prepared for the quick response from it, and flew towards her friend. Unfortunately, it was obvious after a few seconds that there was too much space between the bludger and herself and June was very close to hoping that Madam Pomfrey would be prepared if Cris didn't have something good up her sleeve. Come on, Cris she thought and breathed a long sigh of relief when she spotted her sister executing a perfect Artistic Dive. The move was a variation of the Sloth-Grip Roll and June grinned when Cris righted herself. She should have known that Cris wouldn't let herself get knocked out in the first few minutes of the game.

"Juneybug, that bludger's your's, have the pleasure!" June kept smiling, but now, a mischievous glint appeared in her eyes. Maybe it was her ghostliness slowly fading away, maybe the sun was getting to her, but whatever it was, June was going to do something drastic. "Merci Cris!" she called to her sister before turning and chasing after the bludger.

It was good that she was already semi-close to it from flying to Cris, and it didn't take long for June to catch up to it. It tried to dodge, but June used the Beating Box to keep it from flying too far. This move had June tapping the bludger around in a box, a move that was instinctive for her since she'd used it so many times. Taking a deep breath, June began the first moves of the Spinning Smash. She began to fly loops around the bludger, keeping the circles tight and constraining. Then, June raised her bat and smashed it into the bludger, sending it straight down towards Dani. She hoped the Hufflepuff wouldn't be too hurt...

Jamie gave the commentator a look fit to kill,
"stupid! your not allowed to take sides!" he yelled violently shaking his fist at the stand.
Jamie hated the Gryffindor team... they always seemed to win! Nothing made Jamie more angry than loosing.. something he very rarely admitted...but very rarely dd he loose.
"come on! it would help if there was another beater on this team, plus.... i have my feelings that the gryffindor team has too many girls!" Jamie yelled to the Hufflepuff qudditch fans who where all standing watching the match from their assigned stand....
Jamie looked around from the fellow Hufflepuffs and looked around the pitch for some sign of oppertunity....
"bingo!" Jamie whispered to himself...
Jamie dived down towards a bludger that was making its way towards the ground at an estimated speed of 100 MPH, Jamie took his chance and whacked it with his beaters bat....
He sent it flying towards the co- captain who seemed to be flying just above him, this was too easy.... way too easy....

Jamie looked about the pitch looking for the other bludger which was zooming about the other end of the picth.... then he realised that there was only him and the seeker on the hufflepuff side... Jamies mouth hung open...
"referee! I call a break... unfair match!" Jamie yelled at Amy.....
jamie prayed into himself that the referee would let them have some time to gather their there team mates...
"please please please!" Jamie whispered to himself... while he flew over to where the referee was hovering....

(Gryffindor Chaser)

"June!" Erika yelled as she flew by on her broom. She flew with the hot Sun's glare in her eye, minuzering past Cris and watched as June slew high to chase for the Bludger. The Artistic Dive seem to work to dodge but she dropped the Quaffle.

The sun made it hard to see ball, "Cris!" she yelled seeing the quaffle as it dropped. She zoomed down towards the bottom for the Quaffle CAN NOT DROP. She wipped around Jamie and did the Lion's Cub to hide the ball.

She flew down and let go off her speed and was quickly behind Jamie and got ready to launch the ball to Cris.

Jamie watched the suspious chaser fly past him... she was pu to soemthing..
go after her! Jamie thought immediatly....
Jamie flew until he was flying beside Erika...
his eyes darted about her... and he thought he would ram her anyway..
*rams*
Jamie was ramming into the side of the suspious gryffindors side...
"come on!" jamie yelled at her

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

June watched as the bludger flew towards Dani and she turned, half-expecting to see the Hufflepuff beater rushing to her aid. A Beater's job, first and foremost, is to protect his or her fellow teammates; June had read that in Quidditch Through the Ages. Her eyes widened in surprise as she saw that the Hufflepuff beater was turned, instead, towards the Hufflepuff fans. Her eyes narrowed - he might be up to something - and she flew closer towards him until she could hear his words.

What she heard surprised her even more, so much so that June's mouth gaped open and for a moment, she actually forgot about looking for bludgers. Was Pickles seriously screaming at Elana? True, it was best if the commentator stayed neutral instead of taking sides and June could understand it if Pickles had been mildly annoyed, but shouting? And though she may have been biased, June couldn't see how Elana had sad anything that indicated that she wanted Gryffindor to win... Pickles's next words made her snap her mouth shut in anger. Honestly, too many girls?! A string of colorful words played through her head, but she knew better than to actually say them aloud. She settled for a "humph" of indignation and her fingernails dug into her bat.

Something told her that Pickles needed a bludger… preferably an incapacitating one. Not only was he neglecting Dani, but he was acting unfairly towards Elana and being slightly sexist to her team – though he might not have meant that – and now - June knocked her bat against her knee – he was telling Amy that this was an unfair game! There was only one thing she could actually say: “Honestly!”

June quickly turned away, disgusted and annoyed. ‘Unfair game’ indeed! It wasn’t her fault if not many Hufflepuffs had turned up; after all, it was each team member’s duty to support each other – here, June thought back guiltily to when she’d been quite ghostly – and it wasn’t unfair if it turned out that the Gryffindor team was more prepared than the Hufflepuff one this game. “Honestly!” she said again, though afterwards, she felt a bit embarrassed; ‘honestly’ was not the only word in her repertoire. June looked up, her mind slowly reverting to its Beater-mode. “Erika!” she suddenly called out, astonished, as she saw one of the Gryffindor Chasers getting rammed into by Pickles. “Foul!” June cried, incensed, as she tucked her feet under her and sped towards Erika and Pickles. When she was in hearing distance though still far away, June shouted again, “Erika!” She hoped her friend was alright.

Suddenly, June was forced to stop short in her tracks. She hiccupped as the force of her stop and her previous speed caused her to do a flip in midair and she hung onto Aethera for dear life. When she stopped, the object of her sudden stop caused her to gasp. A bludger! And right on time, too! June took a few deep breaths to clear her head, though she kept her eyes set on her target. She began to fly towards it, quickly gaining speed, though she was careful not to go to top speed in case she had to suddenly stop again. One time feeling as if she’d throw up her breakfast was enough times for her. June reached the bludger and raised her bat. Now wasn’t the time for any fancy moves; she had a Chaser to save.

“Erika!” she shouted towards her friend, “the Plummet!” The move’s name was short and to the point, similar to the move itself. She knew that Erika would know what to do; this move had been practiced before and it involved a player suddenly dropping down towards the ground for whatever reason if another player called the move. Unless Pickles had been spying on the Gryffindor practices, he wouldn’t know what the word meant. Her heart beating faster, June hit the bludger with her bat and sent it spinning towards Pickles.

(COMMENTATOR)

"Another Gryffindor has come, we've got Seeker Pam on the pitch! Better late than never, eh? And man, the Bludgers are flying tonight! Gryffindor Captain-Beater Junebug has sent one at Hufflepuff Seeker Dani, and Jamie's sent one right back at the Captain - hey now, I'm not taking sides!" Elana exclaimed indignantly at the Hufflepuff Beater's remarks. "I just said that no one'd gone to the Hospital Wing yet - yet! Didn't specify what team or anything, just stating that we've no injuries, and it's not my fault that not many Huffles have shown so don't yell at me! And I'm obviously not stupid," she added, pointing to her Ravenclaw attire. "Ever heard of one of us being unintelligent?" Thouroughly annoyed, she was relieved to go to announcing a catch rather than continuing the argument. "Anyhoo, there's Erika of Gryffindor swooping in to save the Quaffle! But Jamie of Hufflepuff is determined that she doesn't keep her hold on it, and is ramming into her. That seems like a foul to me - foul, anyone?" Hearing June shout it as well, she continued, "It seems that the Gryffindor Captain-Beater isn't happy about this! She's just as determined to keep her Chasers safe and has sent a Bludger at Jamie. But Erika's between them - will she be able to get out of the way, or will the Captain's plan backfire?"

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Dragon grabbed her broom and stumbled outside while slipping a pair of sunglasses on her face to shield her eyes. Looking around she saw that the gryffies were dominating the pitch. Glaring, she swung herself on the broom and looked warily at Pickles. Not that she was taking any sides but Dragon was sure that you're not suppose to ram another player.

Shrugging she flew towards Pickles and Erika to see what she could do.

(Gyffindor Chaser)

Jamie rammed into Erika and almost falling she pulled the Quaffle to her left arm,
very weakly Erika threw the Quaffle.
"Cris i need you!"
Circling the north end of the pitch she let go of her weight and flew down.
hoping Cris would be fast enough she flew forward to chase after the falling quaffle.

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

“Erika!” June called. She seemed to be calling that a lot lately. The Chaser had thrown the quaffle towards Cris and June hoped that Cris would be able to catch it. However, Erika was higher on her priority list right now since Erika was circling down. She seemed to have escaped June’s bludger unscathed and now June could only hope that Pickles would be hit by it, though June knew that her aim wasn’t the best when she was very stressed out, like she was now at this stage in the game.

She flew down to Erika, half wondering if Erika had heard her call of ‘The Plummet’ and half wondering if she had just flown down because she had been rammed. “Did you hear me?” June asked when she reached the Chaser. As she waited for an answer, June glanced upwards, looking for a bludger.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Dragon was just approaching Jamie and Erika when Erika threw the quaffle weakly to Cris. Zooming with all her might, she approached the quaffle and with the Huffie Shuffle she slid up the broom and reached....there. The quaffle slid into her head and she tucked it tightly under her arm and yelled to Jamie, "Help cover me and Dani!"

With that, she zoomed towards the Gryffie goals.

(Gryffindor Seeker)

Pamela was amazed to see just how rough the game was getting. This may well be the first time I get hit. she thought to herself. The bludgers were flying all over the place, and one Hufflepuff, Jamie was yelling at the commentator and the referee. Clearly he wasn't overly fond of the idea of not winning. You should try being the only one on your team to show up at the game. Talk about unfair. She wasn't mad at her teammates, of course. Stuff happens. It did sting a bit that they had lost so badly, and she couldn't really do anything about it.

Next thing she knew, Jamie was ramming Pamela's teammate, Erika. Pamela really couldn't believe what she was seeing. She hoped that the referee had seen it. "If you're going to try to knock players off course, at least use a bludger!" she couldn't resist shouting at him.

As she was flying around, searching for the snitch, Pamela began to feel her temper rise for the second time that day. Being in the air, feeling the wind all around her, had helped ease off the frustration she'd been feeling. Now between the heat and the attituted of a certain Hufflepuff whom she'd always thought was much nicer than that, she was itching to do something drastic. She was hovering right near the center of the pitch, fairly high in the air. She decided to try tricking Dani. Friend or not, this was a game, and Pamela did want to win. With a glance at her Hufflepuff friend, Pamela leaned forward on her broom and took off in the direction of the Hufflepuff goalposts. She hoped that Dani would follow suit, thinking Pamela had seen the snitch. Perhaps Dani would fall for the Sneaky Cub Feint

(hufflepuff beater)

Jamie looked around realising his anger got the better of him,
"ooopppsss!" jamie dragged on as Erika flew away with out the quaffle...
jamies spirits lifted a little when he realised that one of his team members had caught the ball.....
"well done!" he responded to Dragon.
Jamie kept a close eye on the bludgers of the pitch while he chased sfter some of his team mates

(Gryffindor Chaser)

"June, I heard you!" Erika shouted as she watched the Hufflepuff Chaser grab hold of the ball.
The Slice she thought.
"June, Cris, The Slice?" This was a move that was new but it was sure to work. It involved two chasers and a beater. the two chasers were to circle and block the opponent from moving to the ring. If they dont finnally drop or throw the Quaffle theres the Beater.

Erika flew under Jamie hopping he didnt know what they were up to, flew torwards Cris to repete herself just slightly.

(hufflepuff beater)

Jamie looked down at erika...
"what are you up to?" Jamie yelled at her....
he thought better of this and moved until he was flying underneath her

(Gryffindor Chaser)

A cold rushed down Erika's spine as the Hufflepuff Beater Jamie was flying under her.
"I dunno, playing Quidditch." She responded trying to be sarcastic but she had a very nervous undertone. He was already suspicious.

If kept with her plan she was sure to be hit by a on-coming bludger from Jamie.
But if you changed they might get a point. Erika wipped forward for the bludgers were near June.

(hufflepuff beater)

Jamie flew off towards June leaving his fellows behind with the un armed chaser,
"hello!" Jamie laughed at her battung on of the bludgers hard towards Erika... she was being tooo sneaky for his liking!

(Gryffindor Chaser)

Erika roamed around the pitch for a bludger was on her tail, inch by inch it seemed that she wasnt fast enough. She needed something to hit it. If I go strait then maybe June can pin-point where it could be.
"JUNE!!! PIN-POINT PLEASE!!!"

{Hufflepuff Seeker}

::Dani had zoned, she'd missed something, clicking her golden heals together she saw Pam diving to the ground, previous games ha taught her to look ahead of the diving seeker to see if it was a feint, she was having a hard time seeing if the snitch was really flying before Pam, but Dani couldn't see any gold, she blamed the sun.

Leaning closer to her broom she was about to take off after Pam, when something got her eyes, something gold, something really gold, golder than her shoes, it was the snitch. Changing direction faster than a racoon between two trash cans Dani was off after the snitch and not just a feint.

Her body was plastered to her broom as she speed after the golden ball, her blue eyes were glued to the snitch. closer...closer...closer..so close!. She closed her eyes and streched out her hand and felt something hard between her fingers. Could it be was it really?

"THE SNITCH!" she cried out. "I'VE GOT THE SNITCH!"

I'd just like to intervene here with a message for all Quidditch players in this game:

Please remember to develop your posts so that they're in proper sentences, with proper grammar etc. Posts should also be longer than a few sentences.

(Gryffindor Chaser)

Erika flew forward and saw Dani calling to the "I've caught the Snitch!"

"The Snitch?" She called and in a confuzzed voice looked at Pam still following something, or was she just flying, LOOKING. The weather was great but the sun was unberable, it was very hard to see. Not paying attention the Bludger behind her hit her broom. She couldn't breath, her chest hit front of the broom and she circled, the bludger still after her.

Did Dani really catch the snitch or was the sun getting to the Seeker's Head? Erika didnt know...Gasping for a single breath like she was just swimming in the black lake and was in need or air she continued on LOOKING. That was what they were all doing, with Hufflepuff only having ONE Chaser, and ONE Beater, they needed to play offence more. But the Quaffle was no where in sight.

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

"Right, Erika!" June said, nodding to the Chaser's plan. She flew upwards and towards her, cutting her eyes about, searching for bludgers. She frowned as below her, she saw Jamie close to Erika.... and now he was flying away... towards her? June turned her head and her mouth formed an O when she realized that there had been a bludger by her all along! She felt like headdesking at her enormous stupidity, but quickly kicked her brain (and her broom) into gear. She turned to the bludger and raced ahead. However, Jamie got there first. He turned and so quickly that she could barely see it, hit the bludger towards Erika. June mentally groaned. Erika was such a target, lately. Luckily, June was already quite close to the bludger so she thought it would be easy to race after it and hit it elsewhere. But this bludger was fast...

It sped towards Erika and as June flew faster, the bludger did as well. She heard Erika yell "Pinpoint!" and June nodded, though her friend couldn't see her. The Pinpoint was a Beater trick that made it easier for the Beater to tell the future path of a flying object. In this case, the bludger, since it was chasing Erika. She swooped down and raised her bat. Almost there... WHAM! June smashed the bludger upwards and away from Erika. She sent it flying haphazardly, though she regreted that afterwards. If only it could have gone and hit Jamie.... June sighed and turned to Erika. "Are you alright?" she asked. Suddenly, she was distracted by Dani's shout of the Snitch. What... already? June turned; yes, Dani had caught the Snitch.

//Dani, The game ends on the 11th. Today's the 10th.\\

(Gryffindor Chaser)

The rapid moving Bludger was shot by a on-coming one. WHACK!

Intencity of reliablity of June was off her shoulders for another bludger could have benn after her if she didnt aim right.
"Merci June! Merci...Yeah im ok." she said repeating her self while catching a breath.

The Sun's glare started to dissapear as Erika spotted the Quaffle. Flying threw the air someone seemed to have thrown it hard, dashing torwards it she performed the move Slash to speed up. The move was recomended by Erika durring practice to learn for her 2 brothers at home made it up, for the speed of their broom wasnt fast enough.

In the move you are to quickly move jagged to create speed to push your self on the third turn. She chased down the Quaffle as it lightly landed in her hands and she threw it at the ring at the right on the southern side of the pitch. Like eating five packs of Berty Botts Every Flavour Bean she had her Energy shot back into her like Vaccine from a needle.

(hufflepuff beater)

Jamie looked at the seeker,
"seriously?.... come on the match was supposed to be longer......!" jamie complained.... he loved to complain all the time.....
Jamie hoped that the seeker had caught something more along the lines of a pimgie puff... he laughed at his own humour...
"come on!" Jamie circled the pitch loking out for an oppertunity....

//Erika, Pickles, even though Dani caught the Snitch a day early, she still caught the Snitch, meaning that the game is now technically over. And Pickles, I sincerely doubt that Dani caught a Pygmy Puff and mistakenly took the furry live animal for a metallic sphere.\\

Cheery, who had played down the game this time around..and the last time, swore under her breath. She had tried her hardest to play her best, but unfortunately, she was short of energy. (Ahem..out of context, but my power went out when I was typing an entry two days ago and I never got to come back on sad

.) Cheery thought about her nutrition, grumbled, and laughed at herself. The game isn't over yet, thought Cheery.

Cheery flew to the end of the field and then yelled to get the attention of the players on the field. Then she flew around all of the Hufflepuff players, doing figure eights everywhere she could manage. The Hufflepuff players seemed to be getting dizzy and the Gryffindors cheered her on. HA!!!

(Cheery misbehaving? That's odd!)

I'll interject here:

The game is going to continue and the catching of the snitch is not going to be counted.

The snitch can only be caught on the final day of the match to ensure that all games are played for the same amount of days.

The game will continue as though the snitch hasn't been caught - and as today is the last day of the match both team's seekers have the opportunity to catch it.

So - carry on as normal and the game will be closed this evening.

Jamie looked at the referee,
"yes!" he yelled loudly
Jamie was going to try harder this time...
he slopped around the pitch hitting a bludger in the direction of the team member that had teased him about the Pymgy puff
"take that!" Jamie yelled as he hit the ball
