15th House Quidditch: GRYFFINDOR V HUFFLEPUFF: 27th - 31st

(Gryff Keeper)

::Swift ran onto the pitch, hair flying behind her. The crowd's roars resounded in her ears, and she grinned enthusiastically as she took a running leap from the ground onto her broom, lifting into the air and lapping the pitch. She came to a rest in front of her goalposts, ready to defend them for all it was worth.::

Time for a li'l Swifty action!!

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

::Etta stepped onto the pitch yawning wildly as she waved at the crowd. Rubbing her eyes she jumped onto her broom and kicked off into the air.

"Here Snitch, come here boy," she muttered as her eyes scanned the sky for the little golden ball with wings.::

(Gryffindor Beater)

::WL got up in the air and started to home in immediately on the bludgers. She caught up with one and aimed it at Etta, the only huffie yet on the pitch. It hit her elbow quite hard, thus making it difficult to fly properly, let alone catch a snitch::

Gryffindor Chaser

::prinny walked on to the pitch and looked around. it seemed that etta was the only badger yet to have arrived. kicking off her broom she soared through the air and flew over to the goalposts where WL and swifty were talking::

"can we start the game yet? theres one huffie here"

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

::Etta cried out in pain as the bludger clipped her elbow. mumbling a few choice words and shaking her fist at Waterlily, Etta flew as far away from the Gryffindors who were on the pitch and tried once again o find the search.::

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jenn strolled out to the field with her broomstick in hand. "I'm soo sorry I'm late!" She said with a loud sigh. "Certain new...members have kept me occupied with flowers.." Jenn joked with a wink.::

::She jumped on her broomstick and swerved to the middle of the field. Glancing around for various members, she thought about which play to use first when the other chasers showed up.::

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

::Etta cheered at the site of Jenn on the pitch.::

"Wheres the rest of the team?" she asked as she flew to the right hand side of Jenn. "I know its christmas butwe managed to make it, all be it only just."

(Gryffindor Beater)

::Amber ran unto the pitch out of breath. Looking around she saw people had already arrived.::

"What I miss?" ::She asked catching up to WL.::

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Ginny made her usual graceful entrance onto the pitch. That is, running, tripping, trying to jump on her broom and then missing, and finally managing to get herself up in the air. As soon she was in flight, she was a lot less clumsy. She looked around the pitch for her other chasers, and with a grin spotted Jenn. Ginny flew over to her, after snatching the Quaffle with ease.::

"Up for the Huffle Puff a Boo?" ::she asked with a grin, twirling the Quaffle on her fingers like a basketball before tucking it underneath her arm once more.::

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

::With a yawn, Etta's eyes fell onto the the glittering snitch which was flapping wildly near to Amber. Pushing hard on her broom, Etta gathered speed quickly, she pushed fast until she collided with Amber, knockin her off her broom.::

"SORRY!" Etta shouted down to the falling Amber. "I forgot to turn the nitrus off!"

(Gryffindor Beater)

::Amber was in shock, she had only fallen from her broom once before and didn't really want to repeat the insident again.::

"Someone help!!" ::She yelled hoping someone would catch her before she hit the ground.::

Gryffindor Chaser

::prinny saw amber falling from her broom oh no! she thought not again! pushing her broom toward amber as fast as it would go she managed to catch up with her before she hit the ground. briefly letting go of her broom so that she could catch amber from falling she stretched out her arms and caught her::

"amber! i've got you! now stop waving that bat around or you'll knock me off my broom to!"

::looking around for ambers broom she said::

"i think we've done this one too many times"

(Gryffindor Beater)
::Amber sighed and stopped flinging her bat around.::

"Sorry sorry, yeah. Where is a spare broom when you need it?"

(Gryffindor Beater...remember to say who you are people!!!!!)

::WL caught up with Amber at one end of the pitch and started to whisper in her ear. "How about we do the.....pst pst pst pst pst"

They both nodded and set off in two different directions for the bludgers. WL hit one at ginny, while Amber's was aimed at jenn. It was best to get the two chsers on field out before the game REALLY started.

WL's bludger hit Ginny's broom, sending her into yet another Catherine Wheelie, making her lose the quaffle, landing it into prinny's hands. She looked over to see the outcome of Amber's bludger::

Gryffindor Chaser with Beater on the back of the broom!

::prinny caught the quaffle and looked back at amber::

"hold on tight" ::she said as she flew toward the goalposts where are amy and traci? she thought i cant play this game on my own!::

::as prinny and amber flew toward the goalposts she saw that the hufflepuff goalkeeper had not yet arrived. this should be easy she thought and tossed the ball through the middle hoop::

"and thats 10-0 to gryffindor!"

(Gryffindor Beater)

::Amber sighed and missed her own broom.::

"OY! ANYONE, GET ME A BLOODY BROOM! ASAP!"

Gryffindor Chaser

"sorry amber! no can do! as the only chaser who's arrived i need to try and keep the points up. so until someone can get you one hold tight"

::prinny caught the soaring quaffle and saw that the badgers were closing in. as they drew closer and closer she suddenly pushed her broom downwards, toward the ground. pulling up quickly before she hit the ground she flew up to the huffie goalpasts. as there was still no keeper she simply tossed the ball through the left hoop::

"make that 20-0!"

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Ginny retrieved the Quaffle and flew over to Jenn.::

"We better step up, those Lions caught us with two goals while we weren't paying attention..." ::she said in her best Captain of the Team voice before dissolving into giggles.::

"Anyway Jenn, take the Quaffle from me for the Hufflepuff A Boo, all right?" ::she said with a wink.::

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

:Etta yawned as her eyes fell onto the sight of something gold and sparkly, deciding to investigate she flew hard on broom towards the commentators box only just managing to break when she saw that the object she's mistaken for snitch was in fact grease of Professor Snapes head.

Turning, Etta watched as her team mates began their move.

"Come on HUFFIES!" she cheered waving her arms in the air, almost losing control of her broom, she gripped the handle tightly. "I'll not be doing that any time soon."

(Hufflepuff Keeper)

::Dancing hurried onto the feild pulling on her robes, she huffed to herself and hopped on her new Firebolt that Etta had given her for Christmas. She silently thanked her seeker and zoomed up to her goals.

"Good lord," she muttered and finished putting on her keeper gloves, "If that water was any colder..."

(Hufflpuff Seeker)

:Etta cheered the sight of Dancing and moved lower into the field of play.

"Lets go Huffies!" She shouted as she zoomed around in circles.::

(commentator)

Nancy ran to the quidditch pitch. She was running late for the game do to some over obsessive chatting in the chatbox. She ran to the stands and sat behind the microphone. She smiled at Professor McGonagall who gave her a "it's about time" look. She took the mic:

"And it looks like we are having a lot of action here already! Swifty i am told was the first one to arrive at the pitch! She put on her grrrr game face and stood by her posts ready to block!
Etta was the next to arrive and she immediatly started searching for the naughty little snitch!"

"Then in flew waterlily! She was knocking bludgers around the second she took to the air! Must have taken some pointers from the Weasley twins on that! She hit poor Etta on the elbow! Reminds me of a hit i read about in the quidditch history book! Charlie Diddlebottoms a Hufflepuff from 1899 nailed a Slytherin, Butch Carter in the elbow and he said the exact choice words Etta muttered!

Then came Prinny! She was ready for action searching for her teammates. She is one fast chaser!!
Then Jenn flew in! She is one mean chaser! I know, I have gone against her before. Her moves are quick and quite amazing to watch! Too bad she isn't a Slytherin!
In flew Amber! The mean and mighty Gryffindor beater! She is deady with a beater's bat! Ya better watch out for her....she holds nothing back!

Then in flew Ginny! The feared Hufflepuff chaser! She is like a dart in the wind. She took the quaffle from Jenn and flew like a madwonam twards the Gryffindor goal posts!

Etta spotted the snitch and collided with poor Amber in mid air! Someone save her!!!!!! Reminds me of the quidditch game I watched several years ago when Drake knocked Seamus off his broom while they were fighting over the last peice of chocolate! It ended pretty messy to say the least! But no fear here! Amber was saved by the very awesome princess Prinny! Cheers for Prinny!

Water Lily flew over to Amber and whispered something in her ear! Then the two girls flew to oppisite directions of the feild. They each hit bludgers at Ginny and Jenn! Duck my ladies! Too late! Ginny was sent into a tail spin and dropped the quaffle! Prinny grabbed it with ease! She flew fast and hard twards the goalposts and smiled when she saw the Hufflepuff keeper was nowhere to be found and ten points are awarded to Gryffindor thanks to some teamwork! Nice job girls!

Amber lost her broom and was shouting for someone to get her a new one! Poor Amber! Someone help her already! This reminds me of another time when a Ravenclaw chaser was knocked off his broom by a bludger. It was back in 1969. A bludger hit sent him into a tailspin and his broom smashed into the whomping willow. He was caught by a fellow teammate but her wandered around for quite a while waiting for someone to bring him a broom. He was remembered for sitting in the middle of the field and singing where oh where has my little broom gone...it was heartbreaking! But anyway, back to the game!

What's this! Prinny has the quaffle again! She flew fast and furious twards the goalpost and sent the quaffle through the hoop yet again! 20 points now for Gryffindor! The girl is quite possesive of the quaffle!

Ginny then grabbed the quaffle and headed twards Jenn. She whispered something to her, passed her the quaffle and then winked! These two must be cooking up a mighty badger plan!

Etta continued to search for the snitch and caught site of Ginny and Jenn making a plan. She waved her arms in the air and nearly lost control of her broom! She recovered nicely. Careful Etta!

Dancing came rushing onto the field. She was late for the game but looked like she was ready for action!

And thus so far is how the game is going. Looks like it's gonna be a great one to watch with plenty of action!

Traci walked in with an extra broom hearing amber scream for one. she rolled her eyes zoomed up to her handed her it and searched for the quaffle

::Amber smiled gratefully at Traci and hopped off of Prinny's broom an donto hers.::

"Alright, now to find a bludger."

"well your welcome twinny" traci said looking for the quafle the she saw being handed to jenn she zoomed under hem hit it with her fist got and zoomed to the hoops tricked dani and got it in she cheered along with the other gryffs and sored to get the quaffle again

:Etta spotted the snitch weaving its way through the heads of the fans and quickly shot after it, knocking into Traci=Ronlover102, sending her into a spin. The sound of vomit from behind her made Etta wave a hand in apology. She pushed harder, trying as hard as she could to not hit any of the SLytherrins below, much to their disay, she failed terribly, swotting them all like flies with her brooms tailend.

"sooorrrryyyyy!"

(Gryff Keeper)

Swift laughed as Etta crash-landed into the Slytherins, but quickly noticed that Traci wasn't looking too well. After making sure that her posts were going to be secure... at least, for the next few minutes... Swift flew over to her daughter, concern etched across her face. She whipped out a pack of Inhalant Tissues, which immediately made the user feel better.... well, for the next day or two, anyway.

Smiling slightly, Swift flew back to her goalposts, waiting patiently for the Quaffle to come her way.

::WL flew over to another bludger and nodded at prinny to go ahead and take a shot at the goal, WL was ready with the bludger and as soon as prinny was in the scoring area, she could launch a dual attack at the hufflepuff keeper...a triple attack if amber was anywhere around...::

::Dancing felt to ball go right through her arms and huffed again. She spun around and grabbed the ball before it could travel any further and tossed it to Jenn

Traci made a speedy recovery but now had ambition to win no one knocks into her without gtting her mad wich mad her play better she went after jenn for the quaffle grabbed it after kicking out of her hands and flew to dani where she kicked it into the hoop over to the right where she was so dani barly missed it and she scored again

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Ginny regained the Quaffle and shot off like a lightning bolt towards Gryffindor's goal posts. When she had reached there she dodged a bludger and placed the quaffle in the nook of her shin and foot. Spinning backwards three times, she then realeased the Quaffle, employing the Crazy Badger Kick::

"Woo Badgers!"

Marie hopped on the Quidditch pitch, still trying to tie her shoe laces, panting as she had been running to get on there.

"Sorryyyyyy I'm late," she said as she finally managed tying her shoes and jumped on her broom, squeezing her bat under her arm as she put up her hair in a messy ponytail and kicked the ground.

Gryffindor Chaser (actually playing quidditch)

::prinny flew after the quaffle. as she caught it she flew as fast as she could toward the goalposts::

(Hufflepuff beater)

Marie smiled as Aliza flew toward the goals and grabbed her bat firmly, looking at the bludger that was coming toward her. She aimed with precision and hit it squarely at Aliza, managing not to hurt the Gryffindor chaser but still knocking the quaffle out of her arms.

Another bludger came toward her as the quaffle was quickly falling to the ground. She hit the bludger which collided with the quaffle, sending it to the other end of the pitch.

Gryff Chaser

"marie!" ::she yelled::

::deciding to wait before she flew after the quaffle she flew over to marie::

"you know...this game seems so boring now!"

(Gryffindor Beater)

::Amber watched prinny.::

"What in the world?" ::she asked aloud.::

"never mind!" ::she yelled to amber and flew after the quaffle::

Traci flew with prinny to get the quaffle she managed to get it and passed it back and forth to the goal posts which by then prinny had control Traci held her breath hoping she would make it in the hoops..

Gryff Chaser

::prinny tossed the ball into the hoop::

"well thats that"

:Etta yawned and looked very bored.

No Snitch, No christmas cake, No Jack ..... Ohhhh Etta thought and racing hard on her broom she vanished high into the sky.::

(Gryff Keeper)

"No Jack?!" Swift muttered to herself, watching as her sister vanished into the sky. No doubt she was going to Cardiff to try and retreive the Captain. You could bring David Tennant while you're there, sis... she thought, extremely bored out of her mind.

Until her daughter came along and decided to try and score.

"Now, now, Gin, that's no way to treat your mum, kicking a Quaffle," she grinned, hitting the Quaffle with the tail end of her broom, and back into play.

"Oi, you Gryffindors, be more enthusiastic!!!" she shouted out into the distance.

Traci laughed as she caught the quaffle she sored to the other side went under the keeper and put the quaffle in with her hands then racing back to the middle to retrive it once more

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jenn woke up and glanced around to realize the game was almost over! "Oh darn I am sooo getting lynched by Ginny when this game is over..." She muttered to herself with a loud sigh. Glancing around she spotted the quaffle getting thrown back into play near Traci. Kicking up her heels, she sped to the center and reached out her left arm to grab it.::

::Seated back to on her broom with the quaffle safely beneath her arm, she flew toward the goalposts and circled the center hoop before jerking her broomstick to the left and scoring a goal there. Flying toward the center once more, she skimmed the field and waited for the quaffle to get thrown back into play.::

Traci watched jenn and moaned as she scored but went after the quaffle she caught it again and zoomed a head of jenn and zoomed to the goal post went one way but scored the other way she cheered and zoomed back to the center

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

::Etta came hurtling out of the sky with a handsome man on the back of her broom and towing an old blue police call box, the snitch was directly below, sticking out her hand she tried to grab it but was too high above it, she said something to her passeneger who nodded and wrapped his hands around her waist, Etta swung her self sideways off the broom and scooped the snitch into her right hand.

"WHOOHOO!" She cheered as she landed safely on the ground with the snitch waving in the air. "COME ON HUFFLEPUFF EVEERYONG INTO THE TARDIS WE@RE OFF TO SEE THE UNIVERSE!"

Etta threw her bro over her shoulder, grabbed her new friend and vanished into the TARDIS::

::Dancing smiled she'd not played her best but they had won none the less. She flew to the ground and touched down to cheer with Etta and the Doctor
