Shadow, Raven and Shaeman's leaving party.

The trio stood in the shadows just inside the forbidden forest, waiting for the friends that they had called. Everyone had been called so that they could say a last farewell before they had to leave them, their home, Hogwarts, everything, and return once more to their home dimension. Shadow held her head low, trying not to cry. Raven was picking at the hem of her cloak, and Shaeman was emotionless, even though he screamed out to the sky in his heart. They had told no one that they were leaving, and now was the time to tell them, before anyone tried to find a way to let them stay.

Shadow had read the stars so often, that she knew that there was no hope of being allowed to stay. The High Priestess' orders were clear. All Synari were being called back to their home dimension, no exceptions. She blinked back her tears desperately, trying to put a brave face on their leaving, but to no avail.

Raven wasn't crying, but her heart was filled with anger. Anger at the orders they had received. Just as they found their place and a close circle of friends, somewhere that didn't care who your parents were or how dangerous you were, they had to be ripped cruelly from everything that they wanted.

Shaeman stood a little way off, standing with two pegusi, one a rich brown, the other pure black. He was rubbing the black one's shoulder, trying to sort out his head. One part of him wanted to break down and cry, the other begged him to scream aloud in anger, but he did neither. It was not his place. He had found company on Earth, even though he was more dangerous than his half sisters, he had found a girl he loved more than anything, but no. It was not meant for him. Not for someone like him.

"Welcome," said Natalie, mouth full of blood pop juice.

Violet shuddered, but said nothing.

Natalie grinned at her.

"Is it awsome being a vamp?" She asked.

"Well...in some respects," said Natalie.

"Oh." Violet mumbled.

"Weirdos," Holly muttered, circling the Black Lake.

"Who are you calling weird?" Violet demanded.

"It's ok Violet," said Natalie, laughing, "she's just having a luagh, aren't you Hols?"

Violet narrowed her eyes, but passed it off.

Natalie grinned.

"So...how're things in your life Violet?" Natalie asked.

"Just peachy." She mumbled, sitting down.

"Cool," said Natalie, sitting next to her.

"I'm bored." She mumbled.

"Me too," agreed Natalie.

"In just an half hour, we can go." Violet said, looking at her watch.

"Spectactular....wait....do you know...will your dad be there?" Natalie asked.

"Most likely." Violet said. "Shadow is his pet." Violet told her.

Natalie looked at Violet.

"Oh yeah...I forgot she was pregnant with his kids," said Natalie, grimacing.

"Dont say that." Violet said, shaking her head.

"Why...isn't it true?" Natalie whispered.

"It is, but the fact that my father did that...I dont want to know it." She said, holding her stomach.

"Mmm...fair enough," said Natalie, also looking sick.

"For a vampy...you act diffrent." Violet mumbled.

"I know," said Natalie, "that's me....different in life...and in death."

"Truley? I like you better now." Violet said, blushing a bit. "I mean...well, your somewhat...different then you were alive." Violet said.

"Let me guess...like...more of a mudblood and less of a danger?" Natalie said, laughing at herself uneasily.

"Er...sure?" Violet said, puzzled.

"What I mean is....when I was alive, you thought I was a mudblood....which I still am...but now I'm a vampire...which makes me dangerous when I'm hungry," explained Natalie.

"Oh." Violet said, loking down.

"S'ok....I forgive you for the past," said Natalie softly.

Violet nodded, laying back on the ground.

Holly looked around awkwardly for a change of subject.
"Umm ... weather's nice," she said lamely.

"Yes.....it is," agreed Natalie.

Holly nodded grinning.

Natalie grinned back.

Holly smiled and sighed lightly.

Natalie lay down on the grass.

Holly lay next to her.
"Sup?" she asked.

"Not much," replied Natalie.

"Me either," Holly said sadly.

"Direct sunlight makes me glow," said NAtalie absently.

"Looking at direct sunlight makes me sad," Holly said sadly.

"Why?" Natalie asked.

"Guys." Violet said, looking at her watch. "We need to go..." She siad.

"Oh....ok," said Natalie.

"i'm not sure where to go...I dont think they are at my house anymore." Violet said.

"Really....I dunno where they would be either," shrugged Natalie.

"We should try anyway," Holly said earnestly, standing up, "Nat, make sure to keep watch as best you can when we get there. We shouldnt be too long.....what are we looking for again?"

"I give up." Violet mumbled.
