Shadow, Raven and Shaeman's leaving party.

The trio stood in the shadows just inside the forbidden forest, waiting for the friends that they had called. Everyone had been called so that they could say a last farewell before they had to leave them, their home, Hogwarts, everything, and return once more to their home dimension. Shadow held her head low, trying not to cry. Raven was picking at the hem of her cloak, and Shaeman was emotionless, even though he screamed out to the sky in his heart. They had told no one that they were leaving, and now was the time to tell them, before anyone tried to find a way to let them stay.

Shadow had read the stars so often, that she knew that there was no hope of being allowed to stay. The High Priestess' orders were clear. All Synari were being called back to their home dimension, no exceptions. She blinked back her tears desperately, trying to put a brave face on their leaving, but to no avail.

Raven wasn't crying, but her heart was filled with anger. Anger at the orders they had received. Just as they found their place and a close circle of friends, somewhere that didn't care who your parents were or how dangerous you were, they had to be ripped cruelly from everything that they wanted.

Shaeman stood a little way off, standing with two pegusi, one a rich brown, the other pure black. He was rubbing the black one's shoulder, trying to sort out his head. One part of him wanted to break down and cry, the other begged him to scream aloud in anger, but he did neither. It was not his place. He had found company on Earth, even though he was more dangerous than his half sisters, he had found a girl he loved more than anything, but no. It was not meant for him. Not for someone like him.

The nurse turned to Shadow. "Come on Dear, just get back on the bed." She told her, smiling a little.

Violet glared at the nurse's back, but said nothing.

Shadow watched the nurse fearfully through her sunken eyes, glad of the hood and cloak hiding her skeletal body. She shakily got to her feet, relying on a bed post to keep her upright.

The nurse rolled her eyes and walked over to Shadow. "Come on now. The head master will be here in a minute." She said, trying to help Shadow. "Do you want your brother to come in?" She asked her.

Shadow trembled, but didn't move away, sensing that she would lose any fight in her state. She nodded slowly.
"Shaeman and Violet..."

"Really, the Riddle Girl?" She asked, with an raised eyebrow. Rolling her eyes, she walked to the door. "Riddle, boy, she wants you two." She said, walking out of the office towards the headmaster's office.

Shaeman strode into the hospital wing as Shadow sat down on a bed, her eyes tightly shut against the pain of a fit of hacking coughs.

Violet glared at the woman again and walked in. "Shadow.....are you ok?" She asked, hearing her cough. "Wait...dont answer that. Do you need something?" She asked.

Shadow clenched her fists until the coughing ceased, but her breathing was still very short and ragged. She looked at VIolet and shook her head.

"You know, you can lie about other stuff, but not this." She said.

Shadow glared at Violet, about to say something when her breath caught in her throat again, sending her into another coughing fit.

Violet walked over to the nurses office and got a cup. Looking around, she walked into her bathroom and filled the cup with water. "Hold your hands about your head and breath slowly." Violet told her.

Shadow managed to stop coughing, but her breathing was still very short and ragged. SHe closed her eyes concentrating on it.

Violet walked over to the potion's cabinet and grabbed a sleeping potion. Bitting her lip, she looked around for another potion.

Shadow held her head up, straightening her throat to ease the air passage. She jumped as the nurse came back in.

"What do you think your doing!" She shouted at Violet. Violet jumped, dropping the potions at her feet. "Look what you did! I had those made weeks ago and now I have to get them redone!" She shouted at Violet. Violet bent down, picking up the glass.

Shaeman glared at the nurse, standing in front of VIolet.
"Shouldn't you be trying to help Shadow, not shouting at Violet?" He said, gesturing to Shadow, who was still having trouble breathing.

"I cant help someone who want let me." She said, walking back in her office. Violet finished picking up the glass and threw it away.

"Do you think Shadow was going to be willing? We had to drag her here!" Shaeman said.

Violet nurse glared before flicking her wand at Shadow. She shot another stunner at her. Violet looked at Shaeman and the nurse, before looking back at the nurse. "Hush Shaeman, she is just doing her job. She isnt use to people denying help." Violet whispered.

Shadow didn't see the stunner coming and was hit full on by the spell. Shaeman wasn't happy, but kept his emotions hidden behind the stony mask on his face.

Violet looked down, not liking the way he looked. She walked over to were Shadow was and helped the nurse pick her up, you glared in response.

Shadow remained limp, her breathing still ragged. Shaeman sat next to her, one hand on hers.

The nurse walked back to her office. Violet sat down, her hands in her lap. A few minutes later, the nurse came back. "Since you broke my potions, take this to Proffesor Snape adn get me more or them." She said, handing the paper who Violet.

Shaeman looked up at the nurse, biting his lip.

Violet nodded and stood up, looking back down. She walked out, shutting the door behind her. She heard a lock, knowing the nurse had lock the door for the time being.

SHaeman watched the nurse, his face still stony.

Violet walked down to the dungoen and walked to Snape's office. "Snape?" Violet asked, knocking on the door. He raised his head, glaring at her. "What Ms. Riddle?" He asked. Violet walked in with the paper of potions and gave it to him.

Shadow started to cough again, and Shaeman tried to sooth her by singing an old song that he had heard while in Synairn.

Snape snatched the paper from her and pushed pass her rudely. Violet sighed, waiting for Snape to bring the potions she needed. After five minutes, he came back with the potions and pushed them into Violet's hands harshly. "Get out of my site." he sneered. Violet nodded and walked back towards the nurse's office, straining her neck to look over the box.

Shaeman didn't notice Violet coming back in as he concentrated on the words of the song.

Violet heard the lock unlock and walked in, setting the potions on the desk. "Get out." She told her.

Shaeman looked up, breaking off the song.
"Let her stay! Shadow wanted her to stay!"

The nurse rolled her eyes. "I meant out of my office, not out of the wing." She snapped, shutting her door fastly. Violet went unbalanced, falling backwards on the floor. "Thank you." She hissed, staning up.

Shaeman took Shadow's hand again and frowned, taking his hand away and looking at it. It was bloodstained with Shadow's black blood. He turned her arm over to see a gash from her wrist to her elbow that had been stitched, but the stitches had been ripped out. He took a corner of his cloak and used it to try to stop the bleeding.

Violet looked back at Shadow, noticing her bleeding. Violet walked over to her, pulling her wand out. "Do you want me to stich that back up?" Violet asked Shaeman.

Shaeman nodded, seeing that he wasn't helping her.

Violet whispered some words, the scar stitching up itself. Violet looked over at the table by the bed and grabbed the rag off it.

Shaeman bit his lip with worry, hoping that Shadow would wake up.
"Why did Pomfrey stun SHadow if she wasn't going to heal her?"

"She does that alot." She said. "She is most likely in there fixing the potions up." Violet said looking for a chair to sit in.

Shaeman nodded and watched as Shadow's eyes flickered. She blinked and looked around.
"Where am I?"

"Hell." Violet mumbled, standing behind Shaeman.

Shadow frowned.
"This isn't hell, I've been to hell..." She said, confused.

Violet rolled her eyes. "Its the nurses office." She said, sitting on the table by the bed. The nurse came out, glaring at them. "Did you two wake her?" She asked, looking at Shaeman and Violet. Violet shook her head and the nurse looked at Shadow. "Here dear, take this." She told her,

Shadow looked blankly at the nurse before registering who it was. She looked at the potion before taking it, sniffing it experimentally to see what it was.

"It's healing potion." The nurse said flatly. Walking back into her office, she shut the door.

Shadow set it aside, feeling unsure about taking it.

"Shadow, take it." Violet said, looking at her. "It will make you feel better." She said.

SHadow turned her head to look at Violet, her dull eyes taking a while to realise who it was. She nodded and picked up the potion again, swallowing it.

Violet swung her feet back and forth, looking at Shadow. "What happen to you there?" She asked.

"What do you mean?" Shadow asked slowly.
