Shadow, Raven and Shaeman's leaving party.

The trio stood in the shadows just inside the forbidden forest, waiting for the friends that they had called. Everyone had been called so that they could say a last farewell before they had to leave them, their home, Hogwarts, everything, and return once more to their home dimension. Shadow held her head low, trying not to cry. Raven was picking at the hem of her cloak, and Shaeman was emotionless, even though he screamed out to the sky in his heart. They had told no one that they were leaving, and now was the time to tell them, before anyone tried to find a way to let them stay.

Shadow had read the stars so often, that she knew that there was no hope of being allowed to stay. The High Priestess' orders were clear. All Synari were being called back to their home dimension, no exceptions. She blinked back her tears desperately, trying to put a brave face on their leaving, but to no avail.

Raven wasn't crying, but her heart was filled with anger. Anger at the orders they had received. Just as they found their place and a close circle of friends, somewhere that didn't care who your parents were or how dangerous you were, they had to be ripped cruelly from everything that they wanted.

Shaeman stood a little way off, standing with two pegusi, one a rich brown, the other pure black. He was rubbing the black one's shoulder, trying to sort out his head. One part of him wanted to break down and cry, the other begged him to scream aloud in anger, but he did neither. It was not his place. He had found company on Earth, even though he was more dangerous than his half sisters, he had found a girl he loved more than anything, but no. It was not meant for him. Not for someone like him.

There was a loud crack, and Hayley appeared, with Blueberry on her shoulder. "Hi guys," she said, smiling. Then she frowned at their expressions, "What's wrong? Why have you called us all here?" she asked, with a worried tone to her voice.

"We have to wait for the others before we tell you all." Shadow said quietly, straining to keep the sadness from her voice. She closed her eyes, sighing, trying to keep herself nder control.

Hayley nodded, and looked at the ground. What's going on? she thought to herself.

Holly slammed hard onto the ground at Shadows feet.
"Woah- got the message......dudes, whats goin on?"

"Hello Holly." Shadow said dully. She turned to Raven. "Maybe we'd better tell them and get it over with."

Natalie entered.

"Could you not have waited on me Hols?" Natalie asked, grinning, then she frowned, "What the hell is going on...why do you all look like that?" she asked, indicating their sad faces.

"Yes, lets tell them." Raven said. Shadow stepped forwards, looking at the three before her.
"We're leaving..."

"Your leaving?" Holly repeated, "Well where're you goin? Why does everyone look as if somebodys died.....Sha-DOW tell me!"

"We're not coming back, we have to go back to our home dimension." Shadow explained.

"Why...why do you have to go," Natalie said, tears forming in her soft green eyes.

"Synairn has passed demands that everyone returns, so Raven and Shaeman are going there." Shadow said.

Holly's eyes widened.
"Never coming back?" she repeated in disbelief, "Thats a little rash now isnt it? You could always .... come backk.....right?"

Shadow shook her head, the urge to cry even stronger as she saw her friends' faces. Swallowing hard, she explained.
"Once everyone's back, the dimensional barriers are going to be locked."

"Will our mind connection be broken?" Natalie asked.

Holly looked down, resisting the urge to kick something.
"I'll work on it," Holly promised, "I dunno......but i will....I'll try and find a loophole....,"

"Um...Holly...that may be a bad idea...inter-dimensional transfare can be fatal," said Natalie, quoting "Dimensional Dilema"

"I dont care," Holly said quietly, "I'll try anyway.....I've never really worked on a project before....It'll gimme something to do...,"

Shadow shook her head again.
"No, because I'm not going to Synairn." She said.

"Are you going to....Erica?" Natalie asked, naming the other dimesion she know of.

"Hogwarts?" Holly asked at a desperate guess.

Shadow shook her head.
"No, not Erica, and not Hogwarts. I'm going to Aspheri."

"Where the heck is that?" Natalie asked.

"It doesnt matter WHERE it is," Holly said impatiently, "It matters as to whether we can come visit....or you can come back...,"

Shadow smiled sadly.
"Not a chance, dimension of the demons."

"So...are we like....never gonna see you again," Natalie said, her throat going dry.

"Ah," Holly said, crestfallen, Is Jamie going with you?"

Natalie looked at the ground, tears spilling down her face.

Holly sucked her teeth whilst taking a deep breath.

Natalie found what Holly did sounded very french, but was too sad to say anything or even to look up.

Violet fell form the sky and landed on Holly. "Ow, what did I miss?" She asked. "Wait, why do you all look sad? Did I miss something?" She asked.

"Ya kinda missed," Holly choked, crushed to the ground, "You wanna get off me so I can explain kid?"

Natalie held her hands to help the two up.

"Oh, sure." Violet said, standing up. "What happen?" She asked

Natalie couldn't help noticing how many people were ignoring her of late.

Holly stood up after her and shook the leaves off of her.
"They're leaving," she muttered indicating the Roth's. "They gotta go.......for .... some reason."

Violet felt tears srping to her eyes. "All of them?" She asked, shaking.

"They have been called to war in their dimension," said Natalie, sobbing her heart out.

"All of them," Holly repeated, looking at the ground.

Violet looked at them and turned her head. "I...are they coming back?" She asked.

Holly shook her head, not looking at her.

Violet nodded. "So, I will never see any of them ever again?" She asked

Shadow looked at Violet.
"There was a demand that the people of my dimension return there before the dimensional barriers are locked. Raven and Shaeman are going there. I'm going to Aspheri, the demons dimension. I have to take rule over there."

"Is Jamie going with you'se?" NAtalie asked.

"He hasn't decided yet." Shadow said.

Violet nodded. "I...guess I'll see you some other time?" She asked. "Maybe in death." She told them.

Shadow shook her head.
"I can't come back." She said softly.

Holly glanced up at Violet and then at Shadow before bowing her head again.

Violet nodded, tears falling down her face. "And you Sheaman? You can never come back?" She asked.

Natalie went over and put her arm around Holly, still crying hard.
