Shadow's home on Earth.

A lonely house stood un the middle of a field hidden by the dense forest and protected by many invisible charms from many dimensions, making the house practically invincible. Round the back of the house, sat a block of stables housing a small pegasus herd that Shadow had bred herself.

Shadow appeared at the tall iron gate into her house, which was surrounded by a high wall. Muttering several words in many languages though her projected thoughs, the gates opened and she led Violet and Phoenix through before closing them with yet more words. Shadow turned to her two friends. Welcome to my home. She signed to them.

"What...Sethrin was my dogs name." She mumbled. "Come on, lets go downstairs." She mumbled.

Phoenix looked at Shadow " she was here 1 second ago" she replied

Shadow nodded her thanks and ran down the corridor.

Violet walked out, looking into the hall. "I dont see her." She mumbled.

Phoenix called out for the child but there was no reply.

A large black wolf trotted back down the corridor, carrying a scowling wolf cub in her mouth.

Violet walked down stairs, looking around for her. "Um...Shadow's lost child, where are you?" She asked out for. She walked pass the living room and saw a picture. picking up, she smiled, loking at Shadow, Shaeman and Raven. "I guess this was a happy time for them." She said, thinking of how hard it must be for Shadow.

Shadow troted down the stairs and plonked the cub on the floor, growling quietly before the pair morphed back.

Violet turned around, setting the picture back down. "I take it you found her?" She said, poitning to the child.

Shadow nodded rubbing her temples. She looked at the child.
"My name's Onyx." The raven-haired girl said, pushing her one white streak behind her ear.

"That sounds like an animal." Violet mumbled, looking at her. "No offence." She said to her and Shadow. Violet sat down on the couhc, pushing her black hair behind her ear.

"It's a jewel!" Onyx said indignitly, until Shadow silenced her with a glare.

Violet raised an eyebrow but said nothing.

Archangel walked down the stairs silently and stood next to her sister.

"So...what now?" Violet asked, looking around. She stood up and looked back out the window, sighing a bit.

Shadow shrugged, but her twins were grinning evilly. Archangel tripped Shadow as she walked forwards, while Onyx used her magic to aralyse her for a few seconds before the pair of them dashed towards the door. Shadow's magic enveloped her, releasing the spell before she ran after the kids.

Violet sighed, watching them. She looked back up at the moon, glaring a bit.

A fiery pegasus crossed over the face of the moon before descending and landing in the long and narrow paddock Shadow had made for take offs and landings with the pegusi.

Shadow caught up with the girls just as the door opened to show a tired looking Shaeman, who caught them before they got outside. She glared at them and pointed upstairs. The two girls looked at their feet before obeying. Shadow looked at Shaeman and pulled him into a friendly hug before gesturing at Violet.
"Hello..." He said uncertainly.

Violet looked down, tears in her eyes. "I..I lost the necklace you gave me." She mumbled.

"It doesn't matter." Shaeman said, sitting beside her.

"Yes id does." She mumbled, looking at him. "That was the only thing I had and he took it...." She said, trailing off.

Shaeman shrugged.
"I'll make you a new one."

Phoenix smiled and walked back to her room, closing the door she fell asleep.

Shadow sighed, walking back up the stairs to give the pair a bit of privacy. She walked into the library, and immediately, several books surrounded her, hovering in the air. She took up her meditation position and used her magic to turn the pages, on several books at once, looking up different pages in each, even though they were on the same subject.

Phoenix woke up and decide to go for a walk, she start humming to herself as she entered the backyard.

Shadow sighed, closing the books and putting them away with a wave of her hand. She strode out to the stable block and leaned on the half door into Merlas' stall, stroking hte mare.

Phoenix spotted Shadow walking over to she smiled "Hey shad" she said.

Shadow looked up and smiled, one hand on the pegasus' neck.

Phoenix smiled back and asked her friend "Is that your horse?".

Shadow nodded and pointed to the door, where a plaque read Merlas.

Phoenix smiled "He beautiful" she said.

Shadow smiled.
Thanks. She signed before thinking for a few seconds. Do you want to go flying?

A grinned formed on Phoenix's face "YAY!" she yelled "Erm...Yeah" she red slightly red from Embarrassment.

Shadow nodded and walked along to a room at the end of the corridor, collecting two bridles and a saddle. She tacked up Merlas and a grey gelding in the next stall named Snow Storm. She gave Phoenix Merlas' reins and mounted Storm.

Phoenix took Merlas' reins and mounted him. She looked and Shadow to see if she was ready to go.

Shadow nodded and walked Storm towards the long narrow paddock, opening the gate and trotting through. She waited for Phoenix to catch up before spurring Storm on. The pegasus galloped along the field until it flared it's wings ang took off.

Phoenix followed Shadow and took off, launching into the skies. Smiling she looked down the view was beautiful.

Shadow turned back to fly alongside Phoenix, smiling.

Phoenix was flying steady, she took a risk and letting go of the reins she put her hands to her side.

Shadow smiled at her friend, and looked down at the mountainous forest below them and the night sky above them. She sighed silently, enjoying the wind through her violet hair.

Phoenix decide to hold back on to the reins "I love flying" she said.

Shadow nodded in agreement.

Phoenix smiled and saw a clearing in the forest, she landed. Deciding she wanted alook round.

Shadow landed expertly beside her friend and patted her mount as he dipped his head to graze, wings tucked into his sides.

Violet nodded, still looking down. "So...what are studying?" She asked.

"Astronomy." Shaeman replied quietly.

"Oh. Was it fun?" She asked, folding her legs under her.

Shaeman shrugged.

Violet sighed, looking at him. "You've changed huh?" She asked, beginning to feel depressed again.

"Not really." Shaeman replied.
