Shadow's home on Earth.

A lonely house stood un the middle of a field hidden by the dense forest and protected by many invisible charms from many dimensions, making the house practically invincible. Round the back of the house, sat a block of stables housing a small pegasus herd that Shadow had bred herself.

Shadow appeared at the tall iron gate into her house, which was surrounded by a high wall. Muttering several words in many languages though her projected thoughs, the gates opened and she led Violet and Phoenix through before closing them with yet more words. Shadow turned to her two friends. Welcome to my home. She signed to them.

Violet noticed Shaeman had left and shut the door. Walking over to the drawers, she pulled out some shorts and an oversized shirt. She walked back into the hall and knocked on the bathroom door. "Anyone in here?" She asked.

"What?" Archangel called out.

"I need to come in and get dressed." Violet said. "Um, I can go some place else though." Violet said.

"It's ok, you can come in." Archangel said.

Violet opened the door and shut it behind her. "Um, do you talk?" Violet asked, walking to the shower and pulling the curtain back and dressing in there.

"Talk about what?" Archangel asked.

"I dont know." She said, pulling the curtain back adn stepping out. "Will if so, I'm down stairs with Shaeman." She said.

Archangel had no idea what Violet was talking about to she turned back to the mirror.

Violet walked back into the kitchen and got her cover. She walked into the living room and sat on the couch,

Archangel sighed, walking down stairs.

Violet kept her eyes on the ground, biting her lip. She pulled her cover around her tighter before laying down.

"What's wrong?" Archangel asked.

Violet looked up and shook her head. "It's nothing. I'm just tired." She said, sitting up.

Archangel raised an eyebrow, not believing her.

"Shouldnt you be in bed?" Violet asked, yawning a bit.

Jamie knocked on the door,
"Hello?" he whispered to himself, wondering...

Violet stood up and walked to the door. "Jamie?" She asked.

Jamie nodded, and looked about at the cold night, he raised an eyebrow without speaking

"Um, come in." She mumbled, opening the door futher. "Archangel, go find your mommy." Violet said, wrapping ehr cover around her even more.

Jamie smiled,
"Is she?" he asked stopping

"Yes, she is a mother. And no, I'm not telling you the father." Violet mumbled, sitting on the couch with her legs folded.

Archangel ran off, returning, dragging Shadow behind her.

Jamie frowned at her, "whats up with you?" he asked her..

"I'm tired ok." Violet hissed.

Shadow looked at Jamie, but bowed her head in hello.

Jamie nodded "perfectly okay..." he turned around.. "Hi..." he traiuled off.

"Come on Archangel, lets go find Uncle." Violet said, standing up.

Jamie watched her leave...
"Hel;lo," he said properly

Shadow raised her hands and used sign language to say hello back.

"Shaeman, where are you." Violet asked herself.

Jamie smiled weakly, he heard but not understood now he did,
He lifted his hands and copied back the symbol

Shaeman had walked down the stairs, but he saw Jamie and swiftly walked back up again.

Shadow looked at Jamie, and pointed to a scar along her throat.

Jamie frowned at her and signed 'why?' to her.

Jamie didn't know why Sheaman was being like that, he barely knew him..

Violet looked at Archangel and smiled. "Here, lets get you to bed. You need to sleep." Violet said.

Jamie smiled at Violet, he hadn't spoken to her in a while

Archangel nodded and yawned, wandering upstairs.

Shadow dropped sign language and opted to project her thoughts, even though it tired her out more.
A failed killing attempt. I can't speak.

Violet glared at him a bit before turning her gaze on Archangel and smiling again.

Jamie looked aT shadow,
Im glad you failed it..
he trailed off in concentration and the rest was muffled to him, he doubted shadow would hear it

Shadow put her head on one side questioningly, unsure of what he had tried to say.

Jamie just smiled
doesn't matter...

Shadow nodded and played nervously with the hem of her cloak.
