Shadow's home on Earth.

A lonely house stood un the middle of a field hidden by the dense forest and protected by many invisible charms from many dimensions, making the house practically invincible. Round the back of the house, sat a block of stables housing a small pegasus herd that Shadow had bred herself.

Shadow appeared at the tall iron gate into her house, which was surrounded by a high wall. Muttering several words in many languages though her projected thoughs, the gates opened and she led Violet and Phoenix through before closing them with yet more words. Shadow turned to her two friends. Welcome to my home. She signed to them.

Violet shuffled the cards again adn passed out five. "You go first." She siad.

Violet pulled the six out and handed it to him.

"Go Fish." She said. "You have a three?" She asked.

Violet took the card and moved about a bit, to get comfortable. She set the cards down and looked at her cards. "Seven?" She asked.

Violet took the seven and sat it down with the other cards. She laid her head back onto Shaeman's legs and looked at her other cards. "Four?" She asked.

Archangel crept down the stairs and sat next to them, crosslegged, watching them curiously. A small black wolf cub followed her, who was then folllowed by a large adult wolf.

Violet looked at them, but said nothing. "Matt, maybe you need some sleep." Violet said.

Shadow barked, wondering who the newcomer was. She sniffed him warily, but detected Oddie's scent and relaxed.

"Shadow, thats Oddie and this is her son Matthew." Violet said. "Maybe your children could play cards with him?" Violet asked.

Shadow looked at her two children. Archangel shook her head silently while Onyx was yapping. She morphed back.
"I'll play with him!"

'Thank God.' VIolet thought, taking the cards from Matt and shuffling them again. "Here, pass them out. Five each and play Go Fish...not Matty. I dont think Onyx will like that game." Violet said, standing up and sitting on the couch.

Shadow smiled at Onyx's confusion and explained the game through sign language. Onyx smiled and grinned before sitting crosslegged opposite Matt, holding the cards.

Violet yawned and laid down again.

Shadow got out her potions kit again. Her last potion hadn't worked, although she could now 'talk' in her wolf form.
Not much use though, Shadow thought to herself. No one understands what I'm barking about. She opened another book and started to make the potion.

"Whats she doing?" Violet asked Shaeman, watching Shadow.

"She's been like this for ages. She keeps trying to find a potion to fix her vocal chords." Shaeman explained.

"Oh." Violet said, tighting her covers around her.

Shadow added more ingredients to her cauldron, Archangel watching her with wondeR.

"I wonder whats taking Oddie so long." Violet mumbled, watching the two play cards.

"Maybe there's a problem at the order she needs to sort out." Shaeman said.

Shadow dipped a vial into her potion and drank it.

"Its only Uncle Chris. Not unless Henry went there, but I really doubt that." Violet said, yawning again.

Shaeman shrugged, looking around.

Violet sighed, pulling the covers over her head.

Shadow coughed hard before signing to Archangel, who handed her another vial. She drank it and soon stopped coughing.

"Is she dying?" Violet asked from under her cover.

Archangel shook her head and looked at the book.
"She forgot the counter agent." She explained.

"Oh." Violet said, turning around to lay her head in Shaeman's lap. "What time is it?" She asked.

Shaeman looked out of the window.
"About ten o'clock PM."

"How much longer os she going to be gone." Violet asked herself. She sat up and crosed her legs

"Who knows?" Shaeman said.

Violet stood up and walked in the kitchen. "I need food." She mumbled, looking around.

Shaeman walked in behind her and also looked around.
"I never understood Shadow's way of organising things." He muttered.

"The fridge." Violet mumbled, looking in. "Eww, whats that?" She asked.

Phoenix left her room and came down to the kitchen for a bite to eat, seeing Violet she said "Hey Riddy"

"Something from out dimension." Shaeman said.

"Cheese, butter." Violet mumbled, grabbing them. "Bread....where is the bread?" She asked.

Phoenix went to get a glass of water.

Shaeman rummaged in a cupboard and handed Violet the bread. Archangel wandered in, getting a bit of chocolate and wandering out again.

Violet loked under the cabinets for a frying pan. "Ok, I'm not stupid. I'm sure she has one." Violet mumbled.

Nixy lefted the kitchen to sit down taking her glass of water with her.

Shaeman groaned.
"I feel like emptying the cupboards and arranging everything normally." He said before finally spotting the frying pan up on top of a shelf.

Violet smiled and took the frying pan and grabbed a knife and something to flip the bread with.

Shaeman started making some pasta.

Violet buttered one side of each piece of bread and laid the butter side down in the frying pan. She laid a piece of cheese down on it and sat another buttered piece on it. "What are you making?" She asked

"Some pasta." Shaeman said.

Violet flipped her bread over and buttered two more pieces for Matthew.
