OWL's Studying Session

First topic message reminder :

Holly lolled around in her chair.
"Im bored," she said to George.
George sighed.
"Holly we came here to STUDY. So STUDY is what we're gonna do!"
Holly rolled her eyes.
"Why are OWL's so important anyway?"

Violet smiled and akward and pulled a frog out. "Thats her name?" She asked

"Yes....give her here then," Natalie demanded.

Violet sighed and looked at the frog. "But she was growing on me." Violet mumbled.

"She's not a pet Violet," said Natalie sternly.

"But she could!" Violet said.

"She wants to learn...not be poked at and played with," said Natalie, more sternly this time.

Phoenix watched "Are they fighting over a frog?" she asked herself

"Come on please!!" Violet said, begging/

"Violet...if you hand her over now I won't report you," said Natalie, holding out her hand, "sometimes blackmail is the only way to get people to see the difference between right and wrong."

"But, come on." Violet said, loking at it. "Let me keep it." She said.

"I can't Violet...I'll get you a real frog if you want," said Natalie.

Violet felt tears in her eyes. "Bye froggy." Violet mumbled.

Shadow walked into the study session, her arms full of books. She noticed the fight for the frog, but she just rolled her eyes and sat down, opening one books and starting to go through it, writing notes on a very long piece of parchement.

"Whatcha doing?" Violet asked, looking at the frog still in Nat's hands.

"Studying." Shadow said angrily.

"Oh, someone is touchy." She mumbled, grabbing her slushie again. "This is sooo painful>" She said, grabbing her head.

Shadow glared at Violet through the hair that had fallen over her face, and then looked down at her books again, quill scratching furiously.

"Are you made at me?" Violet asked, looking hurt.

"I'm TRYING to study!" Shadow hissed.

Violet nodded and stood up, walking over to her books again.

Shadow quietly thanked Arias in her mind and returned to her studying.

Violet opened her book with dresses again and scanned threw them quietly.

Shadow's quill scratched furiously again, only stopping occasionally to turn the pages or to read through a difficult passage.

Volet found a pink one and smiled. 'I know who is wearing that one.' She thought, looking at Shadow a brief second before looking at the page again.

Shadow sensed the look and rolled her eyes.
"Actually, I've already got my dress, for your information." She said, not looking up.

"But it has to be my color." Violet mumbled. "And if I'm actully wearing a dress...my colors are light blue....but I can tweak it a bit." She said.

"Is there something wrong with your mind that means that you can't think silently?" Shadow said, raising her head to glare at Violet.

Violet looked back down, tears flooding her eyes. Standing up, she walked to another part of the room, sitting down to write in her notebook and mark pages in her magizine.

Shadow looked down at her books again, eyes skimming over the demonic text.

Violet bit her lip, looking at the dress she was going to get. She began to draw it in her notebook, adding more desgins to it.

Shadow opened a different book, comparing the two.

Violet stood up, walking back over to the chair and grabbing another book.

Shadow looked up at the ceiling, thinking before scratching with her quill on the parchement again.

Holly started.
"Oh, hi Shadow," she said, "Didnt realise you were here .... I think I was dreaming or something"
She laughed.

Violet looked up at Holly, but glanced back at her book.

Natalie transfigured the struggling frog in her hand back into a first year, who screamed.

"Don't mention anything about this," she said kindly but firmly to the first year, "I'll explain later."

The first year nodded and ran from the room.

Violet sighed, flipping threw the book.

Natalie began to look over her Care of Magical creatures notes.

"Er, Shadow..." Violet said, looking at her. "I was wondering if it was bad timing as to tell you which dresses I would like for the twins to wear...." Violet mumbled.

Natalie smiled.
"Look at you...making plans already...here that Holly....our little Violet is growing up," said Natalie, grinning at Violet.

"What....the wedding is that far away...I think. Whats today?" She asked.

"I dunno...but isn't it like...six months...or something?" Natalie asked.

"Janaury." Violet corrected her. "And I need my part done.....girls are really picky." Violet mumbled.

"Mmm," Natalie said, only half agreeing.

Violet rolled her eyes. "I'm bored." She said, laying upside down on the chair.

"I'm not," said Natalie, continuing with her studying.
"Where's Hermione when you need her?" she muttered, more to herself than anyone else.

"Graduted. I can help you." Violet said. "If I can get my froggy back?" Violet asked. "Or not."

"Nah...I just need to know where the closest tree to the school is which is home to a Bowtruckle so that I can take a quick look at it....I can do it later," said Natalie.

"Oh." Violet mumbled.

Natalie grinned at Violet.
