HUFFLEPUFF CONCERT

Ginny skipped happily backstage, waving at a couple of friends from Hufflepuff as well as other houses along the way. She was already dressed in her Badgers Unleashed outfit, which Marie C, the lead singer, had so thoughtfully picked out for her. It was a black t-shirt that had been cropped about an inch underneath her chest with two-ribbons that came out from the back to tie around her waist. The red head was also wearing a black skirt that had sort of a ragged edge with some sparkles around the hem. But, don't think Ginny was in all black, because she proudly sported her yellow high-heeled mary jane styled shoes.

"Okay, now where is everybody?" she asked, confused. The red head deposited her bass guitar, which was in it's golden case covered with many Bob the Badger stickers, in the band room and headed out to find her band members. Peeking out from behind the curtain, her brown eyes searched the small audience for a sign of a badger buddy...

:slowly, clipboard in one hand, cup of tea in the other, Flisan came in, ooking around in the big concert hall. A couple of people were standing around, looking rather lost, and she smiled at then as she walked by. She had a feeling that only Ginny would be on time.

She had cut her hair a little and she was dressed in something more casual than her usual golden two-pieced manager costume, because flying always caused her pretty clothes to get all wrinkly. So she was wearing a jeans skirt, a yellow shirt and Huffelpuff tights pants wogether with yellow half shoes with blue rims. her hair was ruffles because she hadn't bothered to comb it this morning. She would jump into her manager self as son as more people came and she would have to shoo some of the less skilled workers around.

She pulled her eyebrows up when two guys came by, carrying Ginny's base guitar amplyfier into the wrong direction, and waved her wooden clipboard at them, making them turn around. Sighing she made her way behind the stage and opened the door to the dressing rooms of her lovely bagders, where she found Ginny's base guitar standing in a corner. just as she had expected, Flisan thought and smirking sat down on the sofa, sipping her tea.:

:Marie, casually dressed, opened the door of the concert place. For a moment, she was stunned. Gosh, this place was so big!!! She had never played anywhere like this. Begining to feel nervous, she took her bag, which she had dropped on a seat, and walked down the stairs that leaded to the stage. She jumped on it and looked around her again, amazed and excited. Then, like a small girl, she ran to the dressing room, where she found Lisie, already there, making sure everything was perfect, like usual:

"Oh my God, how did you get us this place?" she shrieked

:After hugging her manager, Marie started to change into her first outfit for the show, which was a cute and sparkly black dress, with cute yellow ribbons on it. She looked at herself in the mirror:

"I don't really look like myself but... oh, well"

:She started to walk around the small room, waiting for the other members, and singing a bit to warm up her voice:

Ginny caught sight of Marie and ran over to her.

"Hey Marie! I'm glad somebody's here! I got here a while ago and dropped off my bass. Have you seen Candy? Because you two should probably warm up your voices." she said all of this very fast, but that's just what the red head was like. Her brown eyes looked around again.

"I have the lyrics for the new first song. It took me a while to come up with them, but I did it!"Ginny said happily. She held out the paper containing the lyrics to Marie.

"I hope you like them, I tried to make it as close to what you asked for as I could, but without you there...well...let's just say I tried."

:Marie, trying to follow everything Ginny was saying since she was talking so fast, received the lyrics in her hands before Ginny zoomed out of the room. Then, confused, she read the song and grinned. This was so good! Their concert would be huge, and she couldn't wait to see it.

Marie went in front of the mirror of the dressing room and started putting on make up. They didn't have enough money yet to have someone to make that job for them, but they soon would. And even then... but anyway. While putting her lipstick on, Marie looked at her reflection, wondering how she wanted her red hair to look like. She finally decided to let them down. Then she turned around and waited for Candy to arrive, for, as Ginny said, they needed to practise a bit:

Ginny was running around backstage, finding any band member she could and handing them the lyrics. Her responses were getting shorter and shorter as she went along. The red head had a lot to do, after all, after this, she still had to finish writing Candy's solo song. Then she had to hand THAT out to everybody! Finally, she had finished, and her brandy eyes looked around for the room where she should write Candy's song.

"Hmm...I doubt they have a song writer room...so I guess I'll have to make due." she said, opening random doors. The red head found everything but a good room to write in. Her brown eyes had lighted upon-a broom closet, a bathroom, a room filled with mushrooms, and another that had Flitwick and Trelawney...er...very busy in it.

Her red hair streaming behind her like a flag, she quickly ran away from THAT room, and into the make up one where Marie C was. Closing her brandy eyes, Ginny collapsed into a chair,

"Do you mind if I write in here? I'm not quite done with Candy's song..." she opened her brown eyes to look up at Marie. "If I don't talk, it's because I just got traumatized.

:Marie turned around and laughed at Ginny, who looked exhausted:

"Go ahead, but be sure to relax too... the concert start soon... I hope everybody will be here on time" she said worriedly

:Then, when she was finally ready, Marie winked at Ginny with a smile and went on the stage again to do her sound check, still waiting for the other band members to arrive:

Ginny nodded gratefully and pulled out the lyrics she was making the parody of and the lyrics she had so far. She sighed, this was not one of her better works, but, it had seemed like it'd fit Candy well, so she had endeavered...

"GAH! STUPID MUSE OF SONG WRITING! WHY HAST THOU ABANDONETH ME!?" The red head screamed. A janitor had walked in to enter the waste paper basket just as she had screamed this. His eyes had widened and he ran out. Ginny turned around and chuckled,

"Whoops, I'm scaring the janitors...I hope he goes and busts Trelawney and Flitwick.."

::Candy rushed in with a lollipop in her mouth as she tied up her hair. She tripped over a wire and went face down straight onto the floor.::

"I'M OKAY!" She muttered with her hand going up in the air as she got up.

"Sorry I'm late! stupid homework, and I had to bring my bag here to the concert during breaks! Sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry!" Cried Candy as she fall to Marie's feet and bowed to her like a house elf::

:: Etta fell through the stage giggling, in front of her was Candy, Marie Ginny and Lisa. Smiling brightly she picked herself up off the floor and stumbled over to her drum kit which was covered in Bob the Badger stickers. Pulling off her long leather trench coat, Etta revealed a new outfit which hadnt yet been aproved by the band.

"What do you all think?" Etta asked as she twirled, her black short shorts glittered as her red off the shoulder crop top shimmered in the light. "Fab isnt it!"

:Marie laughed at Candy and gave her her hand:

"Get back up, you goose. Come on, we need to practise and you need to change"

:Just then, Etta arrived. Wow, everybody was coming at the same time! Marie examined Etta's new outfit and nodded approvingly:

"Yep, that should do"

:Everything was now going so fast and the excitement was so high! Marie was so nervous that she didn't know what to do at all. She ran backstage and had a little talk with those who were in charge of the technical part of the show, making sure every small spot of light and every note coming out of the speakers would be perfect:

Ginny heard crashes and bangs and simply figured that Candy and Etta had arrived. She sighed and rolled her eyes. The red head then looked hopefully down at her song-maybe it had decided to write itself!

Her brown eyes saw two more lines than when she'd looked away.

"DARNNIT BRAIN! BETRAYING ME!!!" When she had shouted this, Sir Nicholas, the ghost of Gryffindor had floated through and then floated back out, looking scared. Ginny shouted at him,

"Get out of our dressing room! PERVERT!"

:Marie, hearing so many noises coming from the dressing room, headed there to see Ginny shouting at... the wall:

"Ginny, are you alright? Maybe you should take a break and relax... you'll need to be okay for the show, which is in..."

:Marie looked at her watch and shrieked:

"Less than 1 hour! Oh my God!"

:She rushed out of the room and started running all around the place, making last small checks with everybody and waiting for jenn or stream to arrive:

:: Etta giggled and looked at her fellow bandmates.

"Guys is now a good time to tell you about all the people waiting outside?" Etta asked as she slid behind her drum kit, picked up her sticks and started to bash the life out of her drums.

"Squee..." Ginny fell out of her chair, papers flying in the air. ((Oh sure, NOW it rhymes)) She looked up at Marie,

"Umm...yeah...people just keep interrupting me at very very bad moments." the red head explained. Her brown eyes widened when Marie shrieked, "I should calm down? Maybe you should. Don't worry, let Flissy do all the worrying-she's the manager, it's her job."

By the time Ginny had finished talking though, Marie was long gone. She sighed, "Oh well, back to the drawing board."

:: Etta slammed her drum sticks hard against her drums and smiled happily, singing softly to her self while the otehrs warmed up.::

She could hear Etta warming up and smiled to herself. The red head was ALMOST done with Candy's solo song. Then she'd go outside and show Etta how it's REALLY done.

"Hmm...what rhymes with orange..." Ginny mused, crossing her legs on the floor as she chewed her pen.

"Ummm...pourage?" Candy said as she tuned her guitar while sitting in her comfy chair. She smiled and started practising her notes for the concert

"Eh, I'll use shmnorange..." Ginny said, scribbling some words down. She sighed, relieved.

"I did it! I just finished your song!" The red head handed Candy the lyrics to her song ((Check our House post)) and then started running about handing them to everyone who was there.

"Here ya go Marie...and Etta...and...I'll leave this on the keyboard for when Jenn gets here..." Ginny ran around for a minute longer, and then got her bass and sat down next to Etta and started practicing the chords for "Night of Fun"

::Etta giggled and stopped warming up, she was bored and wanted to have some fun. Swinging herself from out behind her drums, she jumped off the stage and opened the fire exit door to hear the screams of fans.

"God i love this!"

Ginny got up to go see what Etta was making a fuss about. She was nearly knocked back by the outpouring of cheers.

"Oh wow...HI!" the red head screamed, running a hand through her hair. "Are all these people honestly crazy enough to hear US play?" her brown eyes wide, Ginny looked up at Etta.

::Giggling Etta nodded and pulled the door shut. smiling she looked at Gin.

"Is it time to rock?"

"Almost. Just gotta wait until Marie is ready, I think..." Ginny said looking around for their lead singer. She was in all of the songs, and it would kind of help if she would show up again.

"MARIE! MARIE WHERE ARE YOU!?" the red head called out, calling several people working technical stuff to stare. Everybody is staring at me tonight... she thought, rolling her brown eyes.

"Ginny come!" Etta shouted as she ran backstage. "MArie will have to catch us on stage, you need to go NOW!"

"OKAY OKAY!" Ginny snagged the magical megaphone normally used to commentate Quidditch games, but which had been leant to them so that they could announce people. When they were done they had to give it to the Slytherins. For good measure, the red head stuck a Bob the Badger sticker on it.

"ALRIGHT EVERYBODY! LET' S GIVE IT UP FOR THE BAND MEMBERS OF BADGERS UNLEASHED!" Ginny heard the crowd roar and she started,

"MARIEC THE LEAD SINGER!" another roar.

"CANDY THE BACK-UP SINGER AND LEAD GUITARIST" The crowd roared even louder than before.

"ETTA THE DRUMMER!" Ginny took a deep breath, shouting into the megaphone was heard work.

"JENN THE KEYBOARDIST!" she put down the megaphone and picked up her bass, Etta would then announce her.

:: Taking hold of the megaphone, Etta roared into,

"Please give it up for GINNY on bass!"

As the crowd roard, Ette walked over to her drum kit and sat down, breathing deeply, she looked at her fellow band mates and tapped her sticks.

"1, 2, a 1, 2 , 3 ,4!" Etta counted the band in and started to slam her sticks onto the drums, her head moving with the beat as she threw herself full heartdly into the song.::

Ginny ran onstage, waving at the audience.

"Hey everybody!" she got behind the curtain and started tuning up, noticing Etta was warming up rather loudly. She hoped they'd be able to hear Candy and Marie's lines before the song.

::Jen rushes on stage and throws down her Muggle schoolbooks. Trying to pull on her jacket that went with her band outfit, she nearly trips over a loose wire. Knocking over several stools as she catches her balance. Several people turn to stare at her, including her bandmembers.::

"I'm okay! I'm okay!" She reassured everyone with an embarrassed grin. "Sorry I'm late! Those Muggle finals took forever! But I'm back now!"

::She quickly sat down by the keyboards and started warming up by playing the chorus of their beginning song. She did it partly to practice, but more to give the audience who were starting to wander in something to listen to as they waited for the concert to start.::

"Hahaha, hey Jen, yeah..now for those wires.." Candy trailed off and made sure the wires were put somewhere so people don't kill them selves.

Candy took a deep breathe and peeked out into the stage, she smirked and ran to get her guitar. She plugged it in and stroked the strings once and heard it vibrate through the whole stadium, suddenly, people were roaring and screaming.

*IS CHEERING ON!! "SORRY GUYS GOTTA GO DO MY CONCERT!!"*

Candy clipped the microphone base thing at the back of her black skirt as she got out on stage and waved to everyone," HEY EVERYONE!" yelled Candy in the microphone as she watched people enter and enter. She smiled and walked over to her spot and seen people waving paper and pen in the air. Candy pu ther guitar down and went on her knees. She bent down and smiled at her fans. She gave them autographs and went back up on stage and tiwrled as she grabbe dher guitar, stroking it with the clip again.

:Marie, who had just been sick in the bathroom, drank almost all her bottle of water and ran on the stage to rejoin all the members of the band. She looked around, amazed, and then grinned before shouting:

"Hey people, Are you ready for Badgers Unleashed?"

"I don't think they heard you Marie. SHE SAID ARE YOU READY FOR BADGERS UNLEASHED?!" Candy yelled and did the electric slide for the heck of it.

The crowd roared/cheered

"That's better."

"That's more how I like it!" said Marie happily, hearing the crowd cheer

:She looked at her band mate and grinned. She lifted her hand high in the hand and then put it down again. The music started to rise from the instruments and Marie started dancing like crazy at the beat. Then she grabbed her microphone and looked at the crowd:

"Let's set aside
the rivalries.
We're all here as your magical guides
to lead you to tonight's revelries..."

:Marie twirled around, her long hair floating around her:

:flisan watched her band members run around excitedly, flinching every now and then when another one had tripped over something. they were nervous, and now wonder. Flisan had done everything to get them the biggest concert hall available in such a short time and she really liked the way it looked right now. People, dressed in badger yellow and black were filing in, cheering at the band that was warming up VERY loudly and slightly off key.

Tucking under her clipboard flisan decided to make sure everything was alright for the time they had to really start playing. Right now they were having fun, but when it came to playing in front of a whole concert hall everything was different. from the accustics to the way your fingers touched the instrument. Flisan knew that very well, she had played music professionally herself before deciding to be a manager for others.

putting down her cup of tea she walked over to where the crew was doing the last sound check and nodded happily when everything went alright. This would be perfect.:

::Etta giggled with nerves as she watched her band mates, Marie and Candy were cheering the crowd on, roars of 'I love Marie' reached Etta's ears as did the screams for 'we want more candy!'

concentrating hard on her drum kit, Etta led the band, trying to stop her nervous giggles as she heard more screams of love and devotion from the crowd.::

"ROCK ON LADIES!!! GO GIRLS GO GIRLS..." Pad yelled as he ran back over to his consert.

Ginny laughed and played the bass flawlessly. Her solo was coming up, and she bit her lip. The red head has written the solo herself, but it was a challenge. Her brown eyes flicked to the audience where she saw Padfoot in the crowd. Ginny smiled, and during her measure of rest waved at him.

"HI!" Ginny mouthed at him. She then however, had to concentrate on her playing...and the solo that was coming closer and closer...the dark cloud on the horizon of her music.

:: Etta giggled Hard as she spotted Pad running in an dout of the hall cheering them on. Slamming her sticks into her drumkit, she hammered out the beat for the song, waiting patiently to rock out her Bob the Badger drumkit.::

She looked over at Etta, who appeared to be having some serious difficulty restraining herself until her drums solo.

"Hold out a bit longer, Etta." The red head said with a chuckle, then turning her brown eyes back to her fingers, which seemed to be getting stage fright. Come on...Relax

:: Etta looked at Ginny impatiently wondering if anyone would notice if she just drummed a little faster...her hands were clutched tight to her sticks, she was tempted very tempted, but no, she couldnt, they would know, the bass would have to speed up and she just didnt want to suffer Ginny's wrath.

"Must be good" She muttered to herself.

Her red hair came out of its neat bun as she shook her head. It streams about her face, making it hard for her to see.

"Whoops." She tried to get her hair out of the way of her brown eyes, but all she succeeded in doing was looking stupid-er.

:Marie smiled at all her friends nervosity, forgetting about her own. She grinned as she heard the music going faster, just the sign she was waiting for:

"Magical musical night of fun!
When you're looking for nonsense, this is the one"

:Marie finished her sentence and turned to Candy. The crowd aclaiming the background singer would finally get what they wanted:

Her brown eyes sparkled as she quickened as the pace of the song increased. [i]Almost time..[i] Ginny thought to herself. As soon as Candy finished her part, it was time for her solo. Although she felt her nerves become tighter and tighter, she was exhilirated by being onstage with her band.

Pillow danced with some random person while the Badgers played.

They were good! She threw her hands in the air and screamed along with everyone else

::Etta began to speed up her drum playing as the song approached Candy and Ginny's solos, it wasnt long until she got to thrash her drums herself. Getting carried away with the music one of her drum sticks flew out of her hand and away from her, Etta didnt care as she perfectly extracted another stick from the pouch beside her drums.::

:Flisan sighed as she watched her badgers perform on stage. from her place next to the stage she could see Etta stiffle a yawn, as she played her drums like a robot. she was a great musician but this didn't seem to find her liking too much.

Scratching her chin, she looked around until she foudn what she was looking for. She looked over at Etta again as the last song ended and threw the spare microphone at her.

"Your Turn" she said and nodded when Etta's eyes started sparkling.:

::Etta's eyes sparkled as Lisa handed her the mic. Stepping out from behind her drumkit, Etta walked ot the edge of the stage and looked down at the fans, smiling she held the mic to her lips.

"ARE YOU GUYS READY???" Etta schouted and the crowd screamed. "Good, now, i am going to sing a very special song, a song for us all, a song to remember, please, put your wands together for Remember Faith!"

Etta stepped back from the edge and as the keyboard and guitar began to play softly she once again held the mic to her lips.
