HUFFLEPUFF CONCERT

"I'm getting to it..." She said giving her a agitated look but let out a tiny giggle. She then became scary and serious.

It was discovered that the portkey was only for Harry meant.

"Oh, I remember what happen next..." said Marie, still shivering

"Well, tell the nice people!" Candy insisted, pointing to the audience.

:Marie gazed into the darkness and started singing softly:

"Reborn was the Dark Lord, and I'm here to tell you how (oo uh oo)
He needed blood, flesh, bone, all of them for his evil plot.
Blood from Harry, flesh from servant, bone from his father's grave, ow! (oo uh oo)
Then before the poor boys eyes, something he never should have seen
Voldie-poo was here again, and in the darkness his red eyes gleamed. (oo uh oo)"

Candy started singing softly along with the spooky music.

"Harry was untied, and to duel the Dark Lord was his task (uh ah uh)
His wand was returned, he was surrounded by people in masks.
Harry tried to run, but it was clear there was no way out (uh ah uh)
The first spell was cast and boy did the Dark Lord shout!
Shadows off his victims past returned before his eyes (uh ah uh)
Harry fled from that place, he heard the Dark Lord cry..."

:Marie joined again for the chorus:

Candy had tears streaming down her cheeks as she music started to fade.

:Marie had almost whispered the last chorus, as she was now crying openly. The music fade out and the light turned off:

Candy sniffed as the music fully faded out and blacked out...," Hey, Marie, you okay?" She whispered to her. Candy wipe dher own tears and sighed as she fixed the mic up to her lips again.


"Hey..Marie?"

"Yeah?" asked Marie softly, weaping away her tears too

"I'm sorry my song made you guys cryyyy..." Ginny said, hanging her head in shame. She ran up and hugged Marie C and Candy. She then whispered, "Do you want me to sing Cedric's Song?"

"That was really interesting, but I don't think I'll be able to get any sleep tonight." Candy said rubbing her chin.

"Oh, that's okay Candy. I won't either" said Marie, squeezing her friend's hand.

:Then she turned to Ginny and winked at her:

"Go ahead" she said, grinning and regaining her self control

Ginny turned on her microphone and turned to face the audience.

"Okay guys, we're gonna tone it down
So get out your badger glowsticks
and wave them in the air" She became quiet as the only sound was Candy playing the melody to the ballad on her guitar, which she had changed to an acoustic.

"Cedric Diggory, in memory of you..."

:Marie went to the center of the stage and sat on a small stool before starting singing:

Cho's tears, falling like jewels" Ginny sang out into the microphone, feeling her own eyes start to water. She had written the danged song, and now it was making her cry-perfect! The red head heard Etta's slow drum beat go along with the melody of the chorus,

:After crying at Voldie's Back song, now she was crying at Cedric's song. So great! But she was proud to cry for someone like Cedric, so while the drum faded out and the keyboard resumed it's soft melody, Marie and Ginny started singing again in harmony:

"Cedric Diggory, keep in your heart

:The keyboard faded out too and Marie stared at the crowd for a moment:

"Please, remember Cedric Diggory" she said softly

:Then, there was a black out and the curtain came down. Marie, even though she was still crying, jumped in her friends arms and almost shrieked. She was glad the first part of the show had gone so well, and she sincerely hoped the second part would be better, or at least as good:

:Just then, she heard someone random announcing to the crowd:

"Ladies and gentlemen, Badger Unleashed will return after a small 15 minutes break, during which we invite your to taste our delicious band eatable product, and admire those who are not. For those who need to go to the bathroom, follow the instructions, and remember to come back in 15 minutes!!!"

:After that, Night of Fun, the Badger Unleashed first song, started to play randomly and Marie rushed into the dressing room:

Ginny chuckled, wiping the tears out of her eyes.

"You both were so great! The songs sounded amazing!" she said. Faintly she could hear Night of Fun playing.

:Marie took her second bottle of water in the evening and almost emptied it:

"You did? I didn't buy the CDs, hearing them once'll do me fine..." Ginny said with a slight giggle and walked over to the changing area. She took off her yellow choker and shirt and put on a black tank top that was cropped into a V and slid on a black sweatband around her wrist. The red head also stepped into a yellow jean mini skirt with a little jean frill around the edge. Ginny then put on her black fishnet stockings and knee high black boots, just as she had finished, the announcer came back on,

"Midshow period has ended please returned to your seats for more Badgers Unleashed!" the brown eyed girl cheered. "Come on everybody! Back onstage for MC!"

"Whaaa I didn't even change yet!!!" shrieked Marie

:Then she looked around nervously and rushed to her bag in which she had put her wand. She took it and pointed it to herself, muttering a spell. Soon after that, she was wearing a beautiful long yellow dress that touched the floor and her hair was up, with small curls coming down on her neck and all around her face:

"What? So not what I asked for!!"

:But then Jenn came and grabbed her hand before dragging her backstage. Marie sighed and jumped on the stage. The curtain went up again and the crowd roared:

"Hello ladies and gentlemen, and welcome back to the second part of Badger Unleashed!!!"

:Marie turned to the other band members and winked at them:

"Time to play Make Music" she whispered to them

:She grabbed her microphone and smiled at the crowd:

"Alright now everybody. Let's hear a story about a little girl named MC..."

:Marie took a deep breath as Candy started softly strumming her guitar in a slow melody:

"Now MC just wanted to be in a band
But her daddy told her no,
he didn't understand. (No no...)
All MC wanted to do was sing soo..."

:Marie saw Etta smile behind her as she started playing her drum loudly:

She cut off her hair (That's right)

:Marie stopped singing and took her microphone in both her hands and gazed into the air before saying softly:

"But, one day...her daddy came into her room...

He asked her what she'd done and she said that..."

:Jenn started playing a soft keyboard melody as Marie was softly singing again:

Polly walked into the hufflepuff band area um it looked good in here ravenclaw was going no where with the band thing she was getting odd looks from the hufflepufs so she stodd up and said good luck guys and walked out of the room.

"Alright Marie C!" Ginny cheered. She then stepped up center stage and said,

"Okay, this song is called Yellow Houses and is about my experience as a Hufflepuff..." The red head took a deep breath as the keyboard started.

"Crashed on the floor after Elfie sorted me in ::Ginny pretended to fall::
This little house of yellow with some crazed new friends

Streams is a bit late, but better late than never! She rushes backstage to change into her Badgers Unleashed outfit. She quickly points her wand at her hair, which is soaking wet from the pouring rain outside, makes sure her face looks perfect, and strides onto the stage. She waves to the cheering crowd, then slides gracefully onto the piano bench, her hands poised over the keys.

Ginny smiled as Streams arrived. She was late, but, the band had known, so it was okay.

"Jenn, tell Streams what we've been up to, okay?" The red head then listened as something was fed into her headset. "What?! Really?! NO WAY!" Her brandy eyes sparkling, Ginny turned to face the audience.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! I have an announcement to make! Two of our own are getting married, not Elfie and Snapey! I'll let them announce who but this is for them!" Ginny strummed her base guitar and began to play and sing.

:: Etta held the drumsticks high in the air after the song was finsihed and pulled out her wand to unleash the heart shaped confetti as she smiled at the newly engaged couple. Stepping from behind her drumkit, Etta walked to the centre of the stage and smiled at the crowd.

"On this day, five years ago, my bestfriend Jacob-Trey died, and i would like to sing and dedictae this next song to his memory and that of anyone who has passed away. This song is called Full of Grace by Sarah McLachlan."

::Etta brushed away the stray tear which had rolled down her cheek as she passed the mic back to Marie, settling herself once again behind her drumkit, she picked up her sticks and allowed the tears to roll freely, away from view of the crowd.::

Ginny turned on her microphone once more, and waved her wand, changing her outfit again. Hey-what was the point of having all those pretty outfits you see her in on Badgers Unleashed promotional stuff if you don't use it? This time she changed into a red cropped tank top with double straps and a slit on the side that laced up loosely. Ginny's pants were black leather and her boots were a dark brown.

"You ready to hear be try and sing again?" she asked the audience. Ginny smiled as there was a roar.

"Well too bad! 'Cause I'm not singing this one! Jenn is!"

::Jen popped up from behind the curtain with a huge grin. She was wearing a typical school girl outfit with kneesocks, her glasses on crooked, and her hair in a simple ponytail.::

"Sorry you guys, its just me this time. Are you surprised I'm dressed like this? Well, let me tell you, it may be hard to believe but I was a huge nerd in high school. Yeah, I know unbelieveable right? (laughs to herself) And there was this guy at school that liked me but I couldn't go with him 'cus I was Ms. Schoolgirl and he was Mr. Quidditch."

Ginny shrugged, she didn't really know. She radioed Flisan, who told her to start singing anything she could think of. The red head shrugged.

"Okay, ladies and gents! I guess you get to hear me screech it out after all!" Her brown eyes closed as she took the traditional deep breath. "This is about my namesake, Ginny Weasley (who I secretly am...bwahaha)"

Streams, wearing a black tank top so that the badger tattoo on her arm would be clearly visible, played a few gentle chords as the song about Ginny finished.

Oh, I love that song, she thought to herself as her fingers skimmed up two scales, finishing the song most dramatically. She tapped her boot-clad foot against the floor and sighed happily. Then she glanced at her fellow band members, waiting for a cue for the next song.

Ilrhagh was dancing and when she heard ginny's song she almost cried

"GO BADGERS UNLEASHED!!!!"

Streams, realizing that the band was now taking a break, left the stage to stretch her legs and get a butterbeer.

::Etta wakled off stage and hanged her outfit, smiling at her bandmates she fell over.

"oops."

::Duck clapped and cheered as she waited for Hufflepuff's next song.::

skyla walks in to almost silence.

"oh have i missed it?" she said to duck the duck before sitting down and realising it might just be a break.

::Etta walked slowly back on stage wearing lowcut jeans and a black crop-top with the slogan 'I eat Angels for breakfast'. Sitting down behind her drums, she began to hammer away a beat and smiled as the crowd went wild. All she needed now was for the rest of the band to come out.:

:Marie walked back on stage and went to Etta who stopped drumming while she whistled something in her ear:

:Etta nodded and Marie went to see all the other band members to tell them the songs that was coming. She went to the front of the stage and sat on it, her legs waving in the air, as she was only inches away from the crowd.

She took her microphone and said:

:Etta started to play her drum again, but this time, it was a slow and beautiful melody. The keyboard joined in and Marie grabbed her microphone tightly:


"Hold your head up little witch

:Slowly, Marie got back on her feet and started walking around the stage:

Be proud of what you have done


:The guitar, played by Candy, joined the other instruments:

:The rythme started to go a bit faster, but it was still slow. Ginny grabbed her bass guitar and started to play:

:Marie went to the stairs that leaded from the stage to the crowd and she got down them. She started to walk among the people who were all staring at her, but still looking at the band members on the stage:

:After walking a bit among the crowd, Marie got back on the stage and looked at everybody in front of her, but in a very individual way, as if she was talking to every and each one of them:

:The keyboard stopped as the other instrument resumed the melody they were playing at the beginning:

:Marie sat back at the edge of the stage and smiled softly:


No more will I take
For now I have shown myself the way
At last I am free
And I will be who I want to be.

::Etta smiled a she finsished banging on her drums. Taking a quick sip of water she burst her drum kit into life and the enxt song.::

:Marie's outfit changed again to black leather pants and a small shiny yellow top. She turned to the crowd, a huge smile on her face, and shouted to the crowd:

"Make some noise Hogwarts 'cause the BADGERS are in the Castle!
Now, I know that since you all are Lions, Birds and Snakes you
probably don't know how to dance.
But don't worry, we badgers are gonna teach you how!"

:Marie grabbed her microphone and pointed at the crowd:

"Crazy badgers clap your hands
Time for the Badger Boogie!
It's the best dance craze that's sweepin' the land.
Dance around just like Loony.
Kick your legs up in the air
Jump high up and down
Have fun all night, nobody cares"

:She started dancing as Candy did a cool guitar solo. Then she turned to her and smiled wickedly:

"Alright Candy, show 'em how the greatest of us do it!" she said, winking at her

::Streams, now slightly tipsy from a firewhiskey, had changed into a black leather miniskirt and yellow halter top, and she wiped a tear from the corner of her eye as Marie finished singing, 'Inside You Lies Me.'

This song struck a chord deep within her because many of her relatives, some of them jealous, had scorned her for joining a band, saying that it wasn't like a 'real job.'

Now that the band was so famous, of course, they denied that they'd ever disapproved. But Streams remembered, and smiled now as she thought how she'd done what she wanted to do.

Her smile grew wider when Marie began the next song, one of her favorites, and her fingers found the right chords quickly, slamming onto the keyboard.::

Candy laughed,"Thank you. First of all, I'd like to say that you lot are pitiful. I want to see some DANCIN'!" she exclaimed, starting to play her guitar again.


"Do you know how to shake your hips?
Around and around like this?
Perhaps you all like to skip?
Or do you wanna just thrust your pelvis?
Instead let's shimmy across the floor
Up and down you definitely know how
Tutut Ravenclaws, do better than that
Or walk out the door!"

:Behind Marie, Ginny grinned hugely as her bass solo was coming. Marie could see that she was excited and nervous, but when her finger touched the cords and she began to play, all the worries and nervosity went from her face to be replaced only by fun. That's how music oughted to be. Marie smiled and, when Ginny finished her solo, she resumed singing as Candy joined her for the chorus:

Now, we-wanna-see-some splits!
*Marie and Candy do a split*
But don't worry, we understand boys
Y'all are doing very nice, now let's turn it up!

:It was now Etta's turn to do a solo. Marie was amazed by it. She had never seen Etta so on fire! During the practise, she had been really good, but now... she was simply amazing!:

It's almost time for us to go.

Knees high in the sky, just like the Huffles know how to.

Candy smiled brightly at Streams and Jenn as they started playing the keyboard solo,they were absolutely amazing.

She brought up her mic to her lips and started doing a random moon walk.

"Ha, now let's see if you can take this on.
Grab a partner and swing 'em down.
Let us conga till the break of dawn!"

:Conga till the break of dawn? Maybe that was a bit too long :

"Candy...take it easy now..." said Marie, restraining a laugh

::Streams tapped her black platform shoes to the beat and grinned at Jenn as their fingers flew across the keys...::
