HUFFLEPUFF CONCERT

::Ginny chuckled as Candy murmured something like "Oh fine". Flipping the switch on the side of her microphone, the red head began to sing::

"Do you feel tired yet?
Slytherins, are you passing that off as hip-shaking?
Please, you're making my upset..." ::As if ashamed, Ginny shook her head at the green clad Badger supporters in the crowd. She began to play the bass part of the duet while Candy played her electric guitar part.::

:Marie smiled at Ginny and then at Candy, who joined her again for the chorus:

Slide, wherever you want
Do not question the badger
Maybe you'll spin-come on flaunt!
Now, we-wanna-see-some splits!
*Marie and Candy do a split*
But don't worry, we understand boys
Y'all are doing very nice, let's turn it up!

:Etta, now more confident or so it seemed, did another drum solo, in which stream joined later on to make it a duet. Then Marie turned to Ginny and sighed sadly:

"Sorry to say it's time to go, Ginny" said Marie

"Just as they were getting the hang of it too..." ::Ginny said regretfully, keeping the time with her foot. She waved to some members in the crowd that she recognized and smiled::

:Marie thought for a while and then grinned. She turned to the crowd:

"One last time Hogwarts Experience!" she shouted joyfully

"Let's see that dance!" ::She screamed into the microphone, punching her fist into the air. Candy and Marie sang the final verse in perfect pitch::

"Originally made in Hufflepuff House
You gotta twirl if you wanna impress.
Underestimate the badger boogie, and you are a mouse.
Rock the castle, you know it best.
Switch to the left, don't you doubt.
ELFIE DUMBLEDORE REALLY ROCKS IT OUT!!"

:Candy started playing her lead guitar as Marie stared at all the Ravenclaw she could see in the crowd:

"RAVENCLAWS!
Jump everywhere!"

:It was Ginny's turn to play her bass while Marie now looked at the Slytherin:

"SLYTHERINS!
Boogie over there!"

:Etta gave a little drum solo and hit the cymbal as Marie turned to the Gryffindor:

"GRYFFINDORS!
Slide to the waaay back."

:Jenn and Stream both started to play on the keyboard when Marie finally smiled at the Hufflepuff:

"HUFFLEPUFFS!
Know how to jazz it up!
The badgers know where it's at!"

:And then the Band started to play in unisson and Marie smiled at their manager, Flissy:

"Let's give it up for our wacky badger manager
LisaMackay aka FLISSY!!!"

:Marie laughed as Flissy jumped in the crowd and did a little crowd surf:

"ALRIGHT ELFIE!!!" ::Ginny cheered, jumping up and down. She then remembered she had a line and said::

"Marie C, the magnificent lead singer!" ::Ginny played along the melody of the song on her bass::

:Marie laughed and then looked at Candy:

"Our beautiful back-up singer
and guitar player-Candy!"

:Candy strummed a chord and did a split... ow, that would hurt tomorrow...*

"Drums provided by the lovely and loony Etta!" ::Ginny shouted happily as Etta did a somersault over the drum kit to a guitar melody provided by Candy. She laughed and hoped she wouldn't rip when it was her turn::

:Marie danced a little before turning to the crowd again and pointing to Ginny:

"The very cool bassist and song writer-
Just_Ginny!"

:Ginny swayed to the right and then fell over. Marie laughed as Jenn did a keyboard slide:

"Here come our wonderful Stream, our sweet keyboardist"

:Stream cheered and jumped all over the place:


"And last but not least- our other fantastic keyboardist Jennifer_Williams!"

:Jenn twirled around and kicks in the air while Ginny does a bass melody. Then, everybody joined Marie as they shouted:

"BADGERS-OUTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!"

:The Band music faded out as the light turned off. Everybody rushed offstage, except Marie, who went searching for Elfie in the ceiling:

::The room seemed to be tilting to the slightly drunk Streams as she ran about the room, hugging enthusiastic fans and signing autographs.::

:Marie, coming back down from the ceiling without having found elfie, rejoined all her band friends and hugged them all. Then, smiling, she turned to the crowd and started to sign autographs too, for those who wanted some:

Streams thought dazedly, I wonder what happened to elfie while a fan began shaking her hand and wouldn't let go. She promised the overenthusiastic fan a free band T-shirt just so that he'd let go...::

Suddenly the room grew dark as everyone got startled and screamed. (The loudest scream sounded an awful lot like Fated) Just then the stage lit up with firecrackers and colorful streams of fire as the words "BADGER UNLEASHED" glowed in gold in the sky above everyone. Then the entire room rained with balloons, streamers, confetti, and free candy!

Streams, drunk and giggling, knelt on the floor together with the fans and groped around everyone's feet, searching for candy.

"YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" ~Fated screamed and shouted "THIS CONCERT ROCKS!!! GOOOOOOO HUFFLEPUFF!!!!"

~Fated was dancing around like a madman, hooting and hollering he caught candy and all sorts of cool goodies that rained down. Being in the front row he could see the whole band and was oogling over them~~~

"HUFFLEPUFF!!! HUFFLEPUFF!" He started cheering and chanting getting the crowd doing the same as he was~~~

"YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOHOOOOO!"

:Marie laughed at the crowd before whispering to all the band members, including stream who was drunk. As one, they all jumped back on the stage to give an Encore:

"Okay everybody! This is our last song, for real this time! This show was our first ever, as was our cd... but in Spring 2007, our second cd will come out, and tonight, we are going to give you a small view on Badger Unleashed next cd!!!"

:Marie grabbed her microphone for the last time before another long time. The band behind her started to play and she began to sing:

"At the begining we were
Very last of all
Few of us would participate to make our house proud
Because most of our member thought
That the name was simply all
But they were wrong
And Hufflepuff grew very strong

And so we're back
Back on the game
And there isn't any of you that could call our house lame
So Hogwarts Experience beware

:Candy joined Marie for the chorus, dancing and playing her guitar at the same time:

:Jenn started doing an amazing keyboard solo as Stream, who was still drunk, played with the technis and opened and closed lots of different lights, but thankfully not touching the sound technic:

Just feeling sorry for ourselves
We needed help
Cause we were down and on the ground

And climbed the stairs
From fourth to second and we swear that we'll at least stay there

:Candy joined again, surprising everybody with her wonderful voice as she did an harmony with Marie:

:Jenn did a very short keyboard solo before the whole band started playing again:

:Marie danced on the disco rythm with a big grin on her face. Then, for the very last time, she looked at the crowd, smiled and bowed as the curtain went down and the light faded away. Crowd's cheer filled the emptyness that she was feeling inside herself, though it wasn't quite filling it all. The Battle of the Bands had been really great, and she couldn't wait til the next one. She lifted her tear strained face to the sky, where she saw Elfie flying with hippos, and smiled softly again. She bent down, kissed the stage like the oversentimental girl that she was and leaved the concert place, full of the memories that the first ever Badger Unleashed show had left in her memory:
