Welcome, ghosts, to our very own Death Day Party in honor of...

Drumroll, please.

The Brown Lady! (Gemma!)

Everyone is welcome to attend this rpg party - if they've done at least one other class!

The grading for this is simple: You'll get a full 75 points if you stay the character chosen in the sign up thread, post at least four sentences per post, and have a great time! I'll be flitting around to make sure you're all behaving as you should - beware your chaperone, the Fat Friar!

The Supernatural and Paranormal Studies classroom had been decorated earlier that day for the Death Day Party. The Friar had overseen the students interested in helping, and had made sure that the rotting food they brought in had a strong enough stench, that the platform erected for the popular ghost band, The Wailing Waifs, was high enough so they could be seen through the guests, and that the black and dark grey balloons and streamers were hung correctly. Though, of course, the SPS Professor should have known better than to entrust the most kindly ghost with directing, and correcting, the students. She had arrived after the Friar had reported that they had finished, and had had to spend the next hour with her nose plugged as she repositioned just about everything (they had forgotten to remove the desks!). She only hoped that he would prove a better chaperone for the party...

The Friar merrily entered the classroom through the northern wall. He was taken by surprise - it looked even better than when he left! The Brown Lady would be so pleased, he was sure of that. He greeted the Waifs, overjoyed that they had agreed to play. He stationed himself near the center of the room, eager to meet the guests.

The Brown Lady was, as every year, prepared to spend a horrible day reminiscing her death and the life that preceded it. Her Death Day wasn't exactly something that filled her with joy, and every year she grew more angry with herself for not having sought appropriate revenge soon enough. This year, however, everything was a little different as she was staying at Hogwarts School for the Ghost Month project. Upon finding out her anniversary ould be during her stay at the castle, Professor Elana had decided to throw a party for her.

Once she'd found out, she was really glad she'd come over, and now as she was sitting in her guest dungeon she felt as nervous as if she still were alive. It would be the first party ever given in her honour, and she wanted to make sure it was a memorable evening that she could look back to every following year. With a small sigh of excitement as the clock chimed twelve, she glided out of the room - yet through the door, as she still quite liked doors - and down the halls.

Once inside the SPS classroom, she couldn't help but be shocked. The whole room was totally different than when she'd last seen it, and a delicious, mouthwatering - if that were still possible - smell hung in the air. The walls, the ceiling, the floor - everything was covered in beautiful decorations, and she barely took notice of the fact that unfortunately, not a bit of brown had made it inside.

The biggest surprise, though, was still to come and The Brown Lady squealed in surprise (something that sounds really wrong and creepy on a ghost): At the East wall of the room, a platform was located and on it, she saw a set of drums that had "The Wailing Waifs" written on it with, well, something that had the adorable colour of blood. Seeing the band members she hurried to get towards them, and greeted them with enthusiasm she'd hardly ever shown on her this day of the year.

Still taking in all the stunning things about the day, she greeted the Bloody Baron, who seemed to be the chaperone of her very first party, and thanked him for being there. Afterwards, she positioned herself next to him and waited for guests to arrive with whom she could share the great night.

Too bad nobody else showed up to party with you, Gemma! But you still get some points ^^
