Who will die in the last book

Probably there will be more than one person to die in the last book, but who do you think is the mose significant person to die?

I think that it might be Ron. If i remeber rightly, he has the same something in his wand as Cedric and someone else who i cant remember off of the top of my head. Maybe there is a link, and he is also the one to be in the background throughout - maybe he would prevail and save the whole wizarding world lol?

I think Snape will probably die - I think that Voldermort will kill him - whether he is good or bad im not sure - but i think that is his fate lol

I also think that there will be at least two Weasley deaths, some Professor and auror deaths...possible Ron will die...

I also think the bad side will lose a few people, perhaps most prominently, Lucius Malfoy.

Oh - and Voldie of course!

Jo did say it would be a bloodbath in book 7....

I totally agree with this. I think the main two people who will die are Snape and of course Voldermort

If I did have to choose, I do think it'd be Ron. Molly's Boggart is somewhat symbolising. Plus the fact that Ron seems to be the closest to Harry, in terms of friendship (excluding Ginny of course), so it seems right that the closest to Harry should die... how horrible that sounds...

I think Remus. He wont be safe with all those werewolves.

I hate to say it and believe me when I tell you I don't want it to happen, but I think poor Harry is going to go down in the end. He'll take Voldemort with him, of course! But I don't like his chances of coming out of the final book alive, sorry.

I think Harry will die.. I don`t know really why I think that but it just makes a bit sense, his parents are dead, and if he dies, he would be reunited with them or something.. that`s what I believe.

I think that well...It breaks my heart, but I don't want anyone to die except for Voldemort! I think that...Hermione might die--well because she a muggleborn. Well, since Harry is sorta like James and all, and Hermione is like Lily in the muggleborn stuff, Voldemort might think Harry loves Hermione, and they try to kill his weak point to get at him. They possibly kill Harry's loved ones first...before they get to him. So he'd just give him and kill himself after everyone he loved has been killed. Harry DOES love Hermione in a SISTERLY way. Its sad..if Hermione dies. If she does---I'll be very mad at JKR. If Harry dies--I'll cry so much..wait

I think that more than one of those listed in the poll will die - however, I'm going with Snape out of that list...

I have always believed that Snape will be a pivotal character in the final showdown. I have never believed that he is on the side of evil - I believe that he was forced to tread that most difficult of pathways - one in which his credibility to the 'other side' must be maintained at all times.

Dumbledore had absolute trust in him. When arriving at the Atronomy Tower and being in dire straits, Dumbledore was most insistent that Snape be summoned - and you have to trust Dumbledore's judgment! I don't think that there is any way in which Snape could have fooled Dumbledore for more than seventeen years.

I believe that Snape will give his life - probably saving Harry - or maybe making it possible for Harry to finally defeat Voldy.

Let's face it - Snape is more disposable than any other character - except maybe Mundungus Fletcher - who is to mourn his passing?

Hmm not sure about Remus being killed by Wormtail, JKR pretty much debunked this rumour in the interview she did with that Owen kid on the release of HBP. He asked her if Wormtail would kill Remus with his silver hand, and she said no.

Im not sure who will die. But J.K Rowling has already written the last chapter of the book and she has stated in many interviews that the next book is really sad. I dont know if she would kill off Harry or Harry would have to sacrafice himself (becuause of the theory that harrys scar is a horcrux and he must destroy himself to save the world.)

When JKR mentionned sad, she meant Hermione Granger...... I know its hard, but i really think that this is what will happen...

But I think also ( ITS MAD) but that Ron will be a traitor, and that Lucius will join harry, ron will be against harry, from what he is prooving him till now... And Harry will not have as much pity as he had for Wormtail, and one of the good will finish him off...

I think Snape will die, then Voldemort and then Harry at the very end. Here's how I think the last few lines will be.(I know I write too many angsty fics)

Angsty boy lol. Personally, I do not think Harry will die. I think that at the final battle, Ron will die jumping in front of someone and protecting him. Hermione will, upon seeing Ron fall, try to run to help him but Harry will stop her. Then, Harry will use a strategy Ron taught to him to defeat Voldemort.

See a resemblence? I think that what's going to happen in the battle with the Trio is going to happen in the actual final battle. As for anyone else-such as Ginny-I don't know.

Maybe she'll be the one to find and destroy the locket horcrux-maybe she'll die. Perhaps the death of her and Ron will spur Harry to action quicker?

EDIT-Oh, and unfortunately I think that Fred and George aren't going to make it through the war. They have the same first initials as Mrs. Weasley's two brothers (Fabian and Gideon) who died in the first War.

i really really think its gunna be harry. and lupin. i think its gunna be lupin cuz jk rowling has killed off all the mauraders ( or ar least the good ones) so i think hes gunna die. And in one of j.k rowlings interviewes she sed she'd make the 7th book her last book and no one after her wud be able to write a sequel ... so im guessing that there really cant be a sequel without harry. so i think harry's gunna die.

I had an epiphany!

Yes. While watching Goblet of Fire, I thought of it. Barty Crouch was talking to Harry about his parents and how it was remarkable, yet tragic. Then I fast forwarded in my head. Voldemort told Harry that love saved him. Of course, we all know that.

Who is in love with Harry now?
Why would J.K. Rowling bring in a relationship in Half-Blood Prince if she intended to end it at the end?

J.K. Rowling said two main characters would die in the 7th book. Lord Voldemort, obviously.
And Ginny Weasley.

The moral of Harry Potter is pretty much that love conquers all. But there has only been one example of this. And while it is the reason for the entire story, its not really presented a whole lot.

Killing Voldemort itself would potentially end the series just because there is absolutely no reason to continue Harry Potter when his enemy is dead.
But I think Lord Voldemort will attempt to kill Harry and somehow Ginny will protect him so he lives and she dies for him, like his mother did.

Yes, I admit. There's some flaws to this theory. Of course. There's flaw to all theories. But this is just a new idea I came up with.

Just because you dislike something, doesn't mean its not true.

It could be Ron and Hermione, but I highly doubt it. Friendship has been shown all throughout the films. Its time for something new.
And Molly Weasley is like a mother to him. But she is not his mother, therefore her love for Harry isn't nearly as much as it would be if he had been born a Weasley.

Moony has a great point on her first post about the wands, i never noticed but it does make sense. Although I believe it will end up being Snape or Harry. At first i was kind of thinking malfoy because he wasnt the one to kill Dumbledore...but i doubt it now. *shrugs shoulders* I guess we'll have to see.
