and will end on Sunday 20th December - 5 days of rpg posting!

When you post - please put your position and team (eg. Gryffindor Beater) in brackets before you begin the RPG post - otherwise your post will be void of any points!

Weather: :Little snow is turning into snow storm.

Remember to observe the new Quidditch rules: day one is for arriving to the pitch, after which the referee will post and the game can properly begin and chasers can no longer immediately state that they have scored. They must wait for the Keeper to post. See the howler in the main forum for more info.

(RAVENCLAW BEATER)

Bundled up in a foofy light blue coat (down, so super warm), fuzzy striped blue mittens with a matching hat, and a gray scarf, Elana was feeling pretty cozy as she cautiously made her way to the pitch. There was only a light dusting of snow, but you never could be too careful of the ice possibly hiding underneath waiting to trip you up! She made it into the Ravenclaw locker rooms unscathed, thank goodness. She wouldn't be too much help to her team showing up with a sprained ankle from a slip and fall on the ice!

Elana changed into her winter Quidditch robes, glad for their warmth as she headed back outside with her broom and bat. She pulled her hat back on over her braids and took a look up at the sky, earning her an eyeful of snow. Fiercely blinking it out, she squinted up, shielding her eyes with a gloved hand. Nope, nobody else here yet. Not wanting absences, on her team's side at least, she swung a leg over her broom and flew up to the Ravenclaw cheering section. Someone had to have brought an owl...

Or would be willing to hand deliver quickly written letters, whichever she found first.

Not seeing any owls, she cupped her hands around her mouth to call, "Anyone who will deliver letters for me gets a weeks worth of free Vanilla Coke!"

The love of Vanilla Coke got her a willing volunteer, and she borrowed some paper to write out a few quick notes to her teammates. "Thanks so much," she told the volunteer, grinning. Hopefully everyone would come! And until then...Elana flew around the pitch, not wanting to stay still and get even colder.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Violet sighed, waking up. Her head was hurting from the last night studying as she put her clothes on. Something clicked into her mind for what day it was. A quidditch day. She had been missing it lately, seeing as she had been sick and studying her head off. Maybe she would beat the captain today. She laughed softly, knowing she would. Sometimes, she forgot but it wasn’t her fault, she was a good captain. Violet wondered if she should go and try to wake Gemma, just incase she wasn’t awake. She shrugged and grabbed her broom, making her way to the pitch.

As she made her way into the common room, she noticed how cold it was. She didn’t have to ask to know it was snowing. It was always cold down here as she made her way out the door and into the hall. Most people where either just getting up, or were still asleep, either way, she didn’t care. She decided to stop and get some food this morning, a first for her. As she made her way into the great hall, she saw it was almost empty. She grabbed a piece of toast and sighed, making her way to the entrance hall.

She could tell it was snowing then. She had been an idiot for not buying something warmer then what she had. But she didn’t mind, she just didn’t want to get sick. “It’s a risk you have to take, Vi.” She whispered to herself, making her way to the pitch. She smiled, noticing it was only one Ravie and not a pitch full. She decided to fly a bit, do some laps, maybe talk to Elana.

“Hello Elana, ready to lose?” She asked her, jokingly. She flew around a bit, not really waiting for answer. She was trying to get use to the coldness that was hitting her face and the drops of snow that was cold to the touch. After a while, she was so numb, if she fell, it wouldn’t even hurt. It would be painless. Then….she would feel the affects when she started thawing out.

(Referee)

Raistlin rushed to the pit
carrying the wooden box with the Quidditch Balls. Quickly putting it on
the ground and tipping it with his wand it flew open and the balls wetn
soaring.

Getting up in his broom he flew to the middle of the pitch, released the Quaffle and blew the whistle.

"Game started!"

(Ravenclaw Chaser

Polly ran down to the pitch breathless her bag dragging down by her side. Quickly changing into her quidditch kit she placed her Santa hat on and stepped out onto the pitch.

Her broom held softly at the side of her Polly slipped the wet wood underneath her and kicked of from the snow covered ground. Small flakes fell softly down clinging to her mass of hair which tumbled in soft curls down her back.

Reaching mid air Polly sat atop her broom and looked around confused. Where was everyone. Her brow furrowed Polly saw the referee throw the quaffle into the air and dived forwards as it slowly arched towards the ground. The quaffle far away from her was slowly sinking towards the ground and Polly bent low over her broom and did an arrow head dive where she pushed her head to the tip of her broom and dived quickly to the ground.

Her eyes cast forward Polly kept her left arm tightly onto her broom and reached out with her right scooping the quaffle up in a quick succession. Twirling in delight Polly sped upwards in a straight line until she was in the middle of the pitch. From there on Polly turned slowly to face the Slytherin goals. Bent low with the quaffle in her arm and sped forwards towards the goal posts.
