Retirement Party Double Drabble Challenge

A drabble is a short piece of fiction 100 words long (no more or less that 10 either way)
A double Drabble is twice the fun 200 words long!

Your challenge is to write a drabble based upon Elfie and Amy Retiring. It must meet drabble requirements. The only other rule is that it must have the following line in bold!

"They were never sane to begin with."

Rose sighed, rather sad to see that the Hogwarts Experience's noble leaders were stepping down from office. She knew whatever they thought was the best thing to do, probably was. She would not question their judgment. Instead, Rose tried to remember the back; when she first found out about HE, when she joined as that nervous little girl, and how she grew into a blossoming flower...and Amy and Elfie where there the whole step of the way. It made her sad, seeing them go. But at least it was not forever! They would visit. And of course! They left HE in the hands of Raistlin, another great leader. Things would get better, she knew. Maybe this was a chance for her to help build up the trust of her own house, under her overlord, Etta. Yes. This is not the end of HE. Not even close. She only hoped Amy and Elfie would be fine, leaving their beloved creation behind, in trusted hands. Though they were never sane to begin with....Rose laughed, sitting down on the grass with her wand. All she knew was that those two had changed her life forever. “Thanks, guys”, she muttered before lying down for a snooze.

Alice took a deep breath. She was sad that two verry important leaders in the school had disided to well retire. Alice didnt know eather of them verry well but she was quite hurt that they were going to leave there position for someone else to walk in there foot steps. Alice was so desprite for the anserw why. That anserw would probibly never be fofilled so she gave up on it. Though she did know one thing was that neather of them would leave if it wasnt for a good reason and it wasnt the right thing for the school. They knew better and she trusted them with there choice she only wished that maybe she could have known them better before the left. Though she may not have known them they had changed her life and experience at Hogwarts Experience forever. The one thing people always said was Though they were never sane to begin with and judging them now it was probibly true. Alice only had a little bit to say.
“ya thank you verry much." She tried to make it short sweet and simple but also sincere. They had accomplished there goal ;she had started hers

Cris sobbed onto Caro’s shoulder, soaking the poor girl’s already wrinkled robes. “Watch it! I forgot the spell to iron stuff, and unless you want to do it manually for me…”

Ignoring her friend, which is what she tended to do most of the time, Cris wiped her nose on Caro’s collar despite her moans and continued sadly, “I just can’t believe they would leave everything to Rai. After all, don’t they KNOW him? We’ll all be wearing green within a month!”

Caro coughed. “I wouldn’t be surprised if he did something to…you know to you know.”

Cris’s mouth rounded into a wide O. “Do you mean, you think he cast a spell on Elfie and Amy?”

“No, but feel free to spread that around.” She said with a bright smile. “After all, everybody knows that they were never sane to begin with. A little prod from anyone could have pushed them right over the end.” Caro snapped her fingers in regret. “I wish I was the one to think of the pushing though…”

“Better watch your words Caro,” Raist suddenly said out of nowhere with a smirk. “Once I’m officially headmaster, we’re going to have fried owl for dinner.”

"Elfie and Amy are retiring." Joanne thought, walking down the hallway. The paper had just been posted up by Filch, much in the same way Umbridges decrees were, right where everyone could see. The echos from the booming annoucnement were fading, and the students all around her were abuzz, all talking at once about this new development. Not only were the first two headmasters retiring from their full time job here, but they were handing the keys over to a slytherin..
A lot of people were arguing that they lost their minds. They were never sane to begin with in Joanne's opinion. What would this mean for her house? Would they rise to power, gain more respect? More money would surley flow in from the Malfoys. And she was sure the Death Eaters could find a way to contribute to their funds. Maybe they could get a whole new library! Sure, some policies had to be the same; the ministry hasn't fallen yet. But she could just further her education more! A slytherin headmaster, what a wonderful idea! Who said they were insane? They are the sanest people in this school, with the exception of the new headmaster, Rai!

were never sane to begin with." She heard them say quietly, hidden inside
a mouse hole





“Bonkers if you ask me” another voice
said from inside the statue shaped like a duck





“I mean, who in their right mind would talk to a hippo!?”
yet another voice said from the rabbit hole.





Elfie wandered into the great hall, past the two hufflepuff’s
who were talking to a tree whilst bathing in custard, past the two gryffindors
who were riding giant ants upside down whilst eating sardine flavoured icecream,
past the two ravenclaws who were painting each other with purple mud whilst
fishing in the lake for marzipan, past the two slytherins who were trying to
build a car using drinking straws.





She shook her head as she overheard a small voice from
inside the tea pot;





“The elf and the duck were very insane”





“Maybe our new head will be more sane” said another voice
from inside a jelly wall.





Elfie walked into the office where Amy and Rai were waiting
for her.





“They think we are insane maybe you will be able to show
them different rai?”





Rai nodded thoughfully.





“I think I might be
able to” he said whilst sticking his pink socks upon his ears and making a
noise like an elephant.
