Valentine' s Drabble Challenge

A drabble is a short piece of fiction 100 words long (no more or less that 10 either way)


Your challenge is to write a drabble based upon Valentine's. It must meet drabble requirements. The only other rule is that it must have the following line in bold!

"HE Is Where The Heart Is"

With a light step she sat on the chair in her room and leaned back. A light happy smile crossed her pink lips as she twirled a strand of honey blond hair around her nail bitten index finger as she waited for it to appear. For the relaxation and joy to flow through her once more.

Finally the moment came and her eyes glowed with anticipation as she eageredly leaned forward. It was all that she could have hoped for. The beautiful internet finally loaded.

It was a wonderfully perfect Valentines day.

After all, HE is where the heart is.

"Home is where the heart is" seems such a strange saying, doesn't it? I mean, what if you don't like your home? Look at literature! Harry Potter, Bella Swan, and the kids who went through the wardrobe had great adventures away from home! And I sure hope they took their hearts with them! So why is our heart at home? I don’t think my heart resides at home! No, for me you could say “HE is where the heart is”. Yeah, HE is the place I feel happy, have adventures, and that is where my heart will reside. For now.
