Subject: "We'll Make Forts Out Of Pillows" [Alice+Jona] Sun Jan 24 2010, 20:14

Jona rummaged through loose papers, picking objects home and putting them back in their place. She fell to the floor, reaching underneath the large oak bed that sat proudly in the middle of the room. She crossed her arms, looking around for things that shouldn't be there. Her eyes grew wide, her bright yellow irises gazing upon the glowing red object. The crystal sparkled magnificently, her pale white hand reaching for it. She wrapped her fingers around the chain slowly, carefully pulling it towards her so it didn't break and shatter like glass. She stood up straight, holding the necklace in front of her. It swung around, twisting and untwisting. Jona placed it around her neck and turned around to walk back down stairs.

Mathew had just dropped her off at her house after a long period of talking and walking and never once did the thing that was on her mind come up.
"Bye." she whispered waving and then dug through her purse for her keys. Eventfully she found the neon pink piece of metal. She had painted it one earning when she was bored. Slamming it into the handle she unlocked the door. Alice shut the door loudly throwing her charm bracelet on the floor.
"Jona go away!" she said walking past her.
"Wait! Where did? How did? What is that? Where did you find? Whets going on?" she finally asked backing up to see Jona with the red crystal necklace she had bought her one day. That was before everything happened so fast. Questions buzzed through her head and so did fake tears. She so longed to cry at this very moment but nothing ever came it never would.

Alice.. she gasped, eyes wide as she could hear the slam of the door only a few feet away from her. She straightened her posture and walked casually towards the kitchen across the hall and across from the front door. Alice passed by, looking down and then stopping her eyes wide. Jona closed her eyes cursing under her breath, caught red handed.
"Now now Alice you know if you throw a boomerang it'll come right back." She said, her weak smiled turning melting into fear. Her fearful gaze at Alice who eyeballed the crystal hanging from her neck. She held it in her hand, tucking it underneath her shirt. "I don't know what’s going on Alice, care to explain where this came from?" She said sternly, but accidently slipped, "It was underneath your bed!"

"If you must know I bought and I was going to give it to you if it wasn't for you stealing it." Alice snapped her brow creasing.
"Now why are you here? What are you doing here? And how did you get inside of my house?" she asked crossing her arms over her chest.
"I mean I understand being mad at me but breaking into my house and stealing a present screams little desperate right?" she asked little confused by this all.
"Jona just explain what’s going on I am already confused enough with having to deal with my... Him I don't want to jump through any more hoops or solve any more puzzles so just straight out explain what’s going on.” She asked done more time before walking over and picking up her charm bracelet she had thrown on the ground and placed it in her pocket. It was her favorite position. She had got it before she was changed it was a gift from her dad but it was the one time when he wasn’t insane it was around 200 years old and fragile. Sometimes she hated it sometimes she loved it but it was strong enough to last all that.

"How does anyone get into houses anymore..." She rolled her eyes, ashamed that Alice would ask such a stupid question when they were after all vampires. Jona turned her expression tensed she almost was glaring at her, "A present that you threw under the bed... Would you like it back?" She raised her voice in almost shock, "I am NOT desperate." She opened her mouth but before she could continue she watched Alice pick up the charm bracelet, clasping it back onto her wrist. She stumbled over a few syllables, trying to avert her eyes up back at Alice who faced her again. "I don't know why I am here and there is nothing to tell you... all I want to know now is why this necklace"- Jona held it in her hand again- "was under the bed."

"No I don't want it back." she said surprised that Jona would think about it.
"After all I got it for you." Alice added on thinking of how to explain why it was under her bed.
"I was angry... I wanted to break it I don't know why but it wouldn't... so I didn't want to look at it so I flung it under my bed." she finished hoping it would clear things up but knew the interrogation wasn't over.
"Are you happy know?" she asked wondering if that was what she wanted to here.
"Excuse me for a second." she said pulling her jacket of and heading up stairs. She pulled out a small yellow bottle and swallowed two before returning down stairs to where Jona was waiting.
"Any thing else?" she asked a little less irritable.
