Empty 3rd Floor Classroom

Hunter sat back in the chair, his legs crossed at his feet and his arms folded behind his head. He closed his eyes and watched as the torch lights flickered shadows on his eye-lids.

Violet sighed, walking down the hall. Looking around, she saw light flicker from under a door. She was pretty sure no one should be in there so she peeped in, looking around. "Hey...whoever is in here...get out before I report you." She called out.

Hunter's eyes flew open as he heard a woman's voice telling him to leave before being reported. He looked over and said, "And just who are you?"

He uncrossed his legs and moved his hands to his pocket but didn't get up. He figured if there was trouble his reflexes would get him through as they'd always done.

Violet walked in, hearing a mans voice. She bet a girl was here with him. Finally, someoe to bust. But upon walking in, the man looked way to old to be in Hogwarts.

"Who the bloody hell are you?" She asked, her want hanging losely in her hand.

"Who the bloody hell are you?"

Hunter stood up and pulled out his wand, seeing hers in her hand. His reflexes be damned.

"Names Hunter, Hunter Lawson," he said. "And you would be...?"

"Riddle...Violet Riddle..." Violet hissed, her wand tightening in her hand.

"Arent you to old to be here?" She told him, shutting the door behind her. She looked around for a female student, but seen she was the only one here. She backed up, hitting the door slightly.

"Violet Riddle," he said to himself, silently putting her name to memory.

"Aren't you to old to be here?"

He watched as she backed up against the door, wondering if she was really scared or a tremendously good actress.

He laughed, darkly. "Yes, I imagine I am. But you don't look like you belong here either. Just what are you doing here?"

"I'm 16...I do belong here." She hissed at him, licking her lips nervously.

"And if you dont leave...I'll report you for trespassing." She told him.

His eyes grew wide. She definitely didn't look 16. Then again, it could just be the light. He put his wand back in his pocket and retook his seat.

"Don't worry, Miss Riddle. I have permission to be here. And would you please stop hissing at me? You sound like a snake."

He crossed his legs again and folded his hands on his lap. He hoped his acting skills were still up to par. He didn't want her to find out his wand wouldn't have done him any good. No one was supposed to know about that.

"I happen to be a parcelmouth thank you." She said, trying her hardest not to hiss. If there was one thing she hated, it was the fact she was parcel mouth.

"Now if you dont leave...I'm telling. You have til the count of three." She told him, hissing softly. Her fangs tried to shift, but she wouldnt allow it.

Parcelmouth?

"I thought Parcelmouths couldn't switch languages without seeing a snake?"

He laughed. "You're telling? Oooh, I'm so scared. Listen here, I have permission to be in the castle! So there," he said. And then he could have smacked himself. So there? He wondered if he was going barmy.

Violet rolled her eyes. "My father is voldemort...we talk in parecelmouth." She hissed again, cursing herself.

She could have almost laughed when he said So there....he was like a little teenage school girl.

"Poor thing..." She mumbled, her fangs finally shifting. "But I'm hungry....got any blood?" She asked him, looking at his neck with lust in her eyes.

Hunter raised his eyebrow at her. Was she really thinking about eating him or something? What was she, a vampire? Animagus? He decided it didn't really matter, he wasn't about to become food for anybody.

With a twitch of his eyebrow, she was pushed back against the door and held there. He stood up and walked over to her.

"So," he said upon seeing her fangs. "What are you exactly? I didn't think a parcelmouth could transform into a snake, even Voldeshorts daughter."

Violet gasped as she was pushed against the door, but he hadnt moved. She tried to free herself, but it didnt work.

"What does it look like! I'm a vampire!!! Why do you think I want blood!" She yelled, looking down at her wand on the ground.

He looked at her struggling against his magic. He hoped she wouldn't be able to figure out his secret.

"A vampire, that's interesting. I wonder why it is that they let you in here, all these kids running around. So just how many have you killed so far?" He paced back and forth in front of her, wondering just who in their right mind would let Voldemort's offspring into the castle, not to mention that said offspring was a vampire.

"Dumbledore was forgiven." She told him, watching him. Timing herself right, she kicked out at him, hoping she had hit him.

"OW!" Hunter screamed. That bloody well hurt. It almost broke his concentration. Luckily he was able to keep enough focus to keep her against the door. He walked up to her, making sure to keep enough distance to keep her from kicking him again.

"Do you really think you can take me, child?" he hissed at her, not sounding nearly as snake-like, but then again he wasn't a parcelmouth. "I don't take kindly to people kicking me, or any sort of attack on my person. You would do well to remember that." He backed away from her, keeping his eyes firmly locked on hers.

"Now, what do you mean Dumbledore was forgiven?"

Violet glared at him, not saying anything. She was tired of playing cat and mouse adn she be damned if she was some little mouse. She took a deep breath before spitting in his face.

"LET ME GO!" She yelled at him harshly.

His eyes hardened. There was no doubt she was Voldemort's daughter, that attitude alone confirmed it for him.

"Fine, but if you even think about attacking me, you'll be back against that door in a heartbeat," he said. He backed away from her and with a twitch of his eyebrow he released her from the door.

Violet glared before tackling him. She pushed him into the wall a few feet away from them. But being strong, it didnt seem to be much space. "You listen here, dont you ever do that to me again." She growled softly in his ear.

Damnit, bloody freaking damnit! She's strong. Stupid vampire strength.

His eyes started burning with anger and he quickly pushed her back against the door, making sure his magic held all her limbs in place this time.

"WHAT DID I TELL YOU?!" he shouted at her. This time he was able to walk right up to her and he got in her face. "YOU WERE NOT TO ATTACK ME! I told you that!" He backed away for a second and took a deep breath, calming himself down. He knew if he didn't he would end up doing something he might just get in trouble for. He wasn't scared of Voldemort, but he figured if he wanted to remain neutral in this war he needed to calm down.

After a few seconds he turned back around to face her and said, "If you want to leave, I will let you go. But if you attack me again, you will wind up in the same place you are right now. You see, I can play this game all night. I have all the time in the world at my disposal."

Violet groaned, her back hitting the door again. She breathed heavily, glaring at him. She wanted to rip his neck off, break him, hurt him. But she wasnt going to attack yet. She would toy with him more and more.

"You listen here...one scream and the school will be awaken. You can dow what ever you like...personally...I think you should do something about that breath." She said to him, smirking a bit.

He twitched his eyebrow again and placed a silencing charm on the room. But his breath? Was it really that bad? He breathed on his hand and smelled it. His face began to burn as he realized he had been tricked. His eyes grew fierce and he snarled at her, "You little snape is good. I put a silencing charm on the room. Go ahead and scream, and we'll see who comes running to your rescue." He figured his neautrality was gone. In for a penny, in for a pound.

Violet glared again, trying tp pull from the door. "Go ahead then....do whatever you like." She said, losing circulation on her arms. Not that it mattered anyway. She started humming to herself before looking back at him.

"Come here.." She said.

He chuckled.

"Not a chance Miss Riddle. Not until you answer my questions."

He looked at her arms and noticed the fingers were turning a little blue. He quirked his eyebrow and let her arms go a little lax. He didn't want to harm her, just keep her from attacking him.

"Now tell me, why has Dumbledore been forgiven?"

"I'm not answering anything." She told him, glaring up at him. She spat in his face again, trying to get off the door to attack him. "Come on take it like a man!!!" She yelled.

He shook is head. "I'm not fighting you, child. I'm much older than you, I know more magic than you do. I am not willing to fight you, Violet. No matter how much you yell at me."

He hoped being somewhat nice would calm her down some. He really didn't want to fight with her.

"Bull...you may be older but that doesnt mean you can beat me. I know more magic then half the people my age know." She hissed softly at him. She felt herself being losen from the door, but said nothing. If she could keep him focused on her, then maybe whatever was holding her back would let her go.

"Yes, Violet, half the people your age. I'm older. I'm willing to bet I know more curses than you."

In truth, he didn't, but he had a distinct advantage of not needing to know any curses. The way his magic worked, he controlled everything with his mind. All he had to do was imagine it and it would happen. There were several limitations though. For instance, he had a hard time using the stunning spell. One of his worst memories was of trying to use the stunning spell on a squirrel he had come across in the park one day and realizing he had accidentally killed it.

Violet glared at him, but she could feel that she could use all her limbs again. Waiting for the right moment, she attacked him again, pulling her wand out. "Stupfy!" She yelled at him.

He watched as she slid down from the floor and shot a spell at him. He ducked the spell and erected a shield around himself. He quirked his eyebrow and she started tap dancing and waving her arms around her head. He hoped if he got her moving fast enough she might let go of her wand.

Violet didnt even btohered to look back at him. She turned to the door, tryingy to open it. She find out quickly the door was jammed. "LOOK WHAT YOU DID!" She shouted, still trying to open it.

The door looked to be stuck as she shook the door handle.

"I didn't do that. Why don't you try and unlock it. Or aren't you a witch?"

Violet glared at him. "You jammed this door...and i'm goign to the office.." She hissed, going red from not thinking about her wand. She looked around for it, seeing it across the room. "You bring it here...I'm not going over there."She growled.

He watched her going red and had to resist laughing out loud. He would have to remember that she tended to forget things when she was upset.

Now he did laugh, he couldn't control it. "Do you really think I'm going to bite?" he had to stop to get his laughter under control. "I'm not the vampire here, and unless you forgot, I was bothering nobody, just relaxing in a classroom before you came in and started bothering me. So," he flicked his head and her wand flew into her hand, "I'd appreciate it if you left me to relax in peace."

He sat back down again, waiting for her to leave.

Violet smirked. "Then whta kind of person would i be?" She asked, letting her wand drop. "What if I want to relax to? Not against the law." she told him, sitting down on the floor. She fingered he could do wandless magic, but then again, most wizards could. Nothing new. She took her robe off, leaving her in her uniform.

Now that really threw him for a loop. She went from murderous to saccharine sweet in ten seconds flat. Must be crazy as well as homocidal, he thought to himself.

"No, no law, but someone could walk in here and think we were up to no good. Now, we wouldn't want that would we?" he asked, muttering to himself Voldeshorts might have a little problem with that. And then he started laughing, picturing Voldemort's reaction to hearing his daughter was supposedly hooking up with a 24 year old wizard in an empty classroom at Hogwarts.

"Who said I cared what people thought?" She asked him, eyebrow raised. She leaned her head back against the door, breathing softly. She highly doubted anyone would come up here at this time of night, besides her. She was just plain stupid for making her way up here anyway.

"I guess I just assumed you wouldn't want dear old Daddy wondering what you were doing up here with some guy he doesn't know. But what was I thinking, I mean this is Voldemort we're talking about."

He turned his neck one way and then the other as several loud and penetrating cracks echoed throughout the room. He carried stress in his neck, or that's what he figured. He watched her relaxing against the door. Something didn't seem right with her, besides being a vampire.

Violet laughed, shaking ehr head. "My fatehr could care less who I was with. As long as they bring pain and toture, then he is happy." She said to him, looking back at him. "Stressed?" She asked him, raising eyebrow.

"Stressed?"

He smirked. "You don't know the half of it, child." He wondered if him calling her child would make her angry again. He wasn't doing it on purpose, it's just what he always called anyone younger than him. Both of his parents had done it with him.

"So your father doesn't care who you're with as long as they like pain and torture? Sounds like Voldemort alright." He closed his eyes for a second and took a deep breath. When he opened them, he looked right back at her and said, "So how did you become a vampire anyways? Who's your sire?"

"No one you know." She said, standing up. She walked over to him, sitting behind him. She hummed softly and started playing with his hair. "And why are you here anyway?" She asked him.

Her hands playing with his hair was quite soothing. He found himself relaxing even more.

"Just hanging around. I didn't go to Hogwarts myself, but when I moved to Hogsmeade the year I turned 17, I fell in love with the castle. I used to sneak onto the grounds whenever there was a full moon and sit by the lake. I like to stare at the sky on nights like that. And the moon reflecting of the water is a wondrous sight. Made for a nice ending to some rather crappy days."

He leaned his head back to look at her upside down.

Violet nodded, looking down at him. She didnt stop playing with his hair, but she cocked her head to the side, no longer humming. "Where did you go to school then? Dumstrang?" She asked softly.

"My mum taught me at home. Let's just say I learned a few things they wouldn't teach you here," he said, noticing that she had stopped humming. "I knew some people from Durmstrang, and Beauxbatons as well."

Violet nodded, looking down at him. "I was taught by muggles...not magic...but just taught and stuff...then my father forced me to come with him. Learned more then I should have. But whatever." She said, running her hand up and down his hair softly.

He sighed softly as she ran her hand through his hair. She grew up with muggles and was taken by Voldemort. He wondered if Voldemort was even her real father. He looked at her a little more closely, trying to make out her features in the low, flickering light.

"You don't sound to happy about him taking you. Would you have preferred staying with the muggles who raised?"

"Well yeah. Aunt Sam and Uncle John were very understanding people." She said, letting her hand fall. "But they died...fire went threw the neighbor hood." she said, clearing her throat. It wasnt like she could cry, but she could get the feeling and it wasnt a good feeling.

He reached back with his hand and grabbed hers where she let it fall. He waited until she looked in his eyes and said, "I'm sorry." He squeezed her hand to show her he meant it, that they weren't empty words. He knew all about loss, but to lose one's parental figures, and at such a young age...He didn't really know what else to say.

Violet shrugged, looking down at her hand. "Doesnt matter....at least they are in a better place then here...my father would have killed them anyway." She mumbled. She pulled her hand from his playing with his hair again,.
