HE's Most Haunted - Sign Up

So, you think you can live through the most haunted place on earth?

In this event, I will be testing your survival skills, teamwork, and all around knowledge and creativity. You will be put in a team and sent to one of the three - allegedly - most haunted places around. Your task will be to prove the existence of ghosts by role-playing your experience. But wait - we're all witches and wizards here, we know that ghosts exist.

We are all witches and wizards, right?

Wrong.

Only one member of your group will have a background in magic, and he or she will try and get the group safely through the haunted mansion, ship, or tomb. These people's main objectives are safety of the group and keeping them from seeing a real ghost. Having been appointed by the Ministry of Magic to keep a watchful eye on these meddlesome Muggles, these people are trusted with protecting the secrets of the Wizarding World. They need to be ready to create distractions, talk with ghosts to convince them to remain hidden, and anything else that may come up. They will be randomly chosen, and the rest in the group - you are Muggles with a background in paranormal activity. You go to places equipped with your night-vision goggles and cameras, ready to do a séance to communicate with the dead. (Think Travel/Discover Channel's Most Haunted show :D) Throughout your time in the haunted place, various obstacles will come your way, either helping or hindering the Muggles or witch or wizard.

There will be two parts of this event. In the first you will have to give a sample of your role-playing abilities in two posts: one where you are the witch or wizard in the group, the second where you are one of the muggles. I will give you a haunted place and you will need to role-play from any time in your journey. Could be packing up and checking your things, seeking out the ghostie, or preparing for a séance, whatever you like! The second will be the team ghost search. You will need to pass the first part to move on to the second part. Part One will be opening shortly.

Points are as follows:
Part One: 100 points available
Part Two: 150 points available
Total Points Possible: 250
