For the following students, you have all created a new potion, now's the time to try them out. Only this time you will be using your fellow classmates as test subjects! To take a look a more detailed look at the first part of this class, click here.

Below is a list of who will be taking what potion. Your job is take the potion and log your results here. This part of the class is worth up to 80 pts.

Are there any potions classes availiable at the moment for me to join? Doesn't seem like much is going on and I'd like to have a go at Potions ^_^

(Apologizing in advance to all, especially to those I don't know well and had to make up stuff based off of sigs and the like. And I want you to know I love you all and that this is just random crazy for points. Thanks for giving me this one, Kate, you know how easy it is to be mean to people XD)

"Listen up, class," called Professor Kate from her desk at the front of the potion's classroom. When the students before her continued to jabber on about their plans for the upcoming Hogsmeade trip, she tilted her wand at an abnormally large cauldron that was precariously hanging over a fire. It immediately toppled over, knocking over the safety grate, and a bubbling aquamarine potion slid out onto the floor. Girls and boys alike shrieked as they scrambled up onto their chairs and desks while the potion oozed into spaces their feet had recently vacated. Professor Kate smiled, satisfied, and with a flick of her wand the potion was back in the cauldron which was back over the fire, bubbling merrily.

"Now that I have your utmost attention," she continued as if nothing peculiar had occurred, "I can explain what we're going to be doing today..."

Mostly listening to the professor's instructions, Elana rested her chin on a fist, the majority of her mind already in Hogsmeade.

"Oh Ron, how sweet of you to come and visit!"

"Of course, my love, how could I miss an opportunity to see you?"

"But really, season tickets to the Arrows when you're not even a fan?"

"Like I said, any opportunity to see you. But I should warn you that the Cannons sent the same package to me, so you'd better not be doing anything for the next few hundred weekends..."

A sharp prod in her side. Elana looked reproachfully at her table-mate June, sticking out her lower lip as she rubbed her throbbing ribcage. She raised an eyebrow at June, who was touching her nose. After a few moments Elana realized that the class was silent and, glancing up front, that the entirety of the class was doing the same as June and looking at her with suppressed giggles.

"Sorry, what was that?" she asked, smiling innocently as she shook her head from side to side. "Seem to still have water in my ears from Herbology, you see, Jenn accidentally flooded the room when she was trying to water the Devil's Snare. Though why we have that I still don't know, it's a safety hazard, wouldn't you think?"

"Not as much of a hazard as not listening during directions," said the professor. "Come on up here, Elana, you're our first willing volunteer. Nose goes, after all. You will be taking..." Kate waved her finger over the rows of vials lining the front table, apparently picking one at random. As Elana got to her feet and walked closer she recognized them as the potions they had created during the previous class. So she was to be a tester, eh? No problem. "...Gemma's potion: Interpressidua."

Taking the vial from Kate, Elana saluted the class and downed the oddly colorless potion. She felt the potion spread through her body and a cold feeling washed over her. Elana began to laugh harshly as her narrowed eyes roamed over the class, picking out her first victim. She put the vial down and advanced on Shadow.

She stopped in front of the table and then suddenly jumped behind the girl. "Ha!" she cried as victoriously as if she had just won Trivial Pursuit. "I'm taking your place as the one who lurks behind others in the shadows, Sha Sha. You may try to take it back, but it'll get awfully crowded back here and I don't know about you but I don't mind crowded places so I think you'll be the one who gives up because I am relentless, re-lent-less I say! You will never beat me, never! What, you don't believe me, Violet?" she said, turning to Shadow's laughing table-mate. "Well Vi, I've got news for you: Kimber is MY twin, Bella is MY rat, and Phoenix is MINE."

Elana skipped out from behind the table and went to the next. "Lucy in the sky with diamonds," she belted out, totally off-key as she ruffled the girl's hair. "Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, guess what?!" she asked, hoisting herself up onto the table. Standing, she looked down at her and said, "Adam Lambert couldn't ever sing that song, which means he can't sing to you, which means he doesn't love you. Yep, that's right, no love no love no love for youuuuuuuuuuu." Elana took a step to her right and waved cheerily at Katherine. "Hey Kathy, you remind me of Sara Palin for some reason. Know what that means? It means that whenever you're running cross country you'll be tripped up by sled dogs and Russians and Democrats."

Elana paused to take stock of the room. Four down, but who should be...

"JUNEBUG!" she yelled, jumping onto her table. "Juney, Juney, Juney, Rhiaaaaaaannon," she sang. "Junester, why do you have a Gryffindor crest on your robe? Honey, you ain't no lion. Go up to Rai's office and try on that old hat again, you hear? NOW!"

As there was no one else at that table, she took a running leap and landed on another. Her feet slid on a few spare bits of parchment and she fell onto Rose. "ROSALIE!" she screamed, giving her a big hug before getting off of her lap. "I like the ground, standing on the ground, standing on the ground without all of you!" She cackled madly.

"Rosalie, Rosal, Rosa, Ros, Ro, R," she trilled, slamming her fists on the table. "Dib knows your secret! He knows, and he will tell! And he will tell me! And then I will tell everyone!"

She cackled again as she ran over to the next student. She slid to a stop, momentarily speechless as she gawked at him. "You. Have. No. House. No one wanted you. Leave. Now," she ordered, pointing at the door. When he didn't seem to get the hint, Elana grabbed his chair and pushed him out of the classroom.

Upon her return, she spotted Nancy and called, "My lovely Nan Nan! I regret to inform you - well, not really - that Aaron and I have just been married! Better - naw, worse - luck next time!"

She skipped back to the front of the room and took ahold of Kate's arm. She pulled her to the single window in the classroom and pulled back the sleeve of her arm. After examining the exposed skin, she let the arm fall back to the professor's side.

"You don't sparkle," she stated flatly before breaking out into a mad grin. "But I dooooooo! And Edward loves me, not you! And I'm giving you negative rep as I speak!" She snatched the vial from the table and ran over to Gemma.

"So, Gem, you made this, yeah?" she said, holding out the empty vial towards the Slytherin. "This is what I think of it." She chucked it into the rubbish bin, cackling madly. "And," Elana continued, hopping up onto Gemma's table, "you are NOT a penguin, you are NOT a muffin, and your agatephobia is about to go haywire, because I AM insane!"

"I believe that's enough," said Kate loudly over Elana's continued laughter. The professor gave the Ravenclaw a vial containing the antidote and she swallowed it. After a few moments her face went slack and she slid off of the table, stumbling on her landing as she gulped nervously. The murderous looks she was getting from the class were enough to get her trembling, and she waved a hand in a weak wave, an equally timid smile trying to light up her expression.

"Hey guys, you know I didn't mean any of that, yeah?"

Silence.

"A prime example of why you should never accept an unmarked potion from someone you don't trust," said Professor Kate, ushering the stunned Raven back to her seat. Kate returned to the front of the room, grinning as she asked, "Next?"
