I'm not doing anything today, just gonna chill out in front of the tv and argue with the cats probably. I think we're having Pasta and Kievs for Tea, depends if i can be bothered to cook the Kievs lol.

That would be funny. It's too bad his shoes are never anywhere near a dining room table.

I just finished Reviewing LAdy GaGa's album, i was struggling to do Kelly Clarkson, i got like half way through and then swore, and put it on the back burner. So atleast i have an album review ready for NEXT edition.

BTW everyone, i need everything completed by April 24th. I repeat April 24th is your Deadline.

Okay so i'm thinking, in some cases, ie graphics, sports and Editorials we might need a day or 2 longer, espically for the Sport F1 because there's another race on the 25th and 26th, so if needs must some articles can have an extra two days, but serioulsy its a needs must thing.

Also, Pensieve Pixie will be stealing from Chatter posts on Friday this week, soooooooo if you want to shout how brilliant you are, do so now!!!!

EDIT: i also think we should each take turns to act as Pensieve Pixie and steal from the chatter thread each edition, so for this one i'll be stealing on her behalf, then for the next one someone else can act on her behalf and so on. Just shout if you want to do it!

Okay guys, Pixie has stolen early!

And it's in my office!

Little baby Thomas is a hyper-active thing. Today, he did some strange wave thing. I could feel/see him kick (or something) one side of my lower abdomen then above that spot in the middle (probably right at the top of his little home) and then about 2 inches to the left of the first site. It felt and looked very funny.

Lol it sounds like he was doing a mexican wave, or maybe he was practising his gymnastics!

Stephy watch out the ... *watches a vase fall on Stephy's shoulder* Never mind.

Who knows? The day I predicted my manager's baby would be born has come and gone. No baby yet. I'm so frustrated with her. I think the main problem is that our hormones cause us to clash more than we ordinarily would. Either way, I'm looking forward to the start of her maternity leave.

Lol, if i was pregnant and people were placing bets on when i'd have my baby, i'd tell someone to place a bet on 4 weeks before my due date, and that my first child would be a boy, cos thats how it is in my family, my generation was Girl, Boy and now my cousins children are being born Boy, Girl so you know, keeping up tradition lol.

I was born 9 days after my due date. My cousin was 10 days after. My aunt was in the hospital to have her labor induced when she finally went into labor naturally.

Right now, the grumpy pants are fighting to come one. I am tired, I have deadly heartburn, my ribs hurt, and I have to set up the continental breakfast early for a team that wants to eat 15 minutes before breakfast starts. And I think my tummy has just decided to do some very mean things to me.

*huggles* Eat lots of chocolate. Put the grumpy pants, find an empty room and rant it all out. Or just rant at meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Seriously, though, i'm proud to know every single pregnant working woman i know, because if it was me, i'd have crumbled the moment the hormones went wild and i'd highly doubt i'd get out of bed for anyone.

My apartment sure suffered. I could barely do a thing but sleep when I wasn't at work. I hated it because I used to have a problem with housekeeping (understatement). It was like I went right back to where I had been.

Shortly after my last post, someone came in to get a room. He actually thought he'd be paying $50 tops for a room at a Hilton brand hotel. It's not uncommon, but it still shocks me every time. Seriously, the average for a hotel like ours is about $110.

Well, some people are just .... idiots.

The Hilton in my city costs £150 for a decent room, which is really cheap compared to the Copthorne which charges £350, mind you, i've never worked for The Hilton, but i have worked for The Copthorne and i can sure as heck say that you get what you pay for, work training is like being at an Army Boot Camp!

They're obsessive here. If we get below a 9 on any survey question that we have even the most minor amount of control over, they're on our cases. They expect perfection pretty much. Some people, though, will say the front desk was not hospitable because we don't have free razors, toothbrushes, etc. Or they'll say that check-out was inefficient because they weren't permitted to cut in front of someone else who was being waited on. The latter example gave us 1s in related questions, such as efficiency of check-out, can-do attitude of front desk, staff made me feel welcome.

Honestly, the whole system is arbitrary anyway. When a hotel can be in the top 10 one month, go all the way down to the top 20 the next, and shoot back up to top 3...I think that's fairly solid evidence that it doesn't illustrate what it's supposed to.

i'm hopeless for filling out stuff like that whenever i'm asked.

I just sort of go "I won't do it right mind!" and they'll be like "you can't do it wrong" *give you the big cheesy grin* then i'l shrug and go eanie meanie minie moe, and randomly select ones to tick. I normally get dirty looks as i leave

That's what I swear some people do. I think others have a tendency to almost never select 10s or 1s. That's how I am. 9s are my 10s, and 8s are my 9s. I would get front desk associates all over in trouble.

Lol yeah my friend does that, she'll only give a 1 if someone really makes her angry, and she only gives out 10s if there was a fit bloke involved she once wrote in the comment section for a restaurant "Here's my phone number, get Tony to give me a call."

I have been known to tip better based on looks. Then again I typically tip 20% or more on average, so I actually slightly over-tip almost everyone. I've been known to give assinine tips like an $10 tip for a cup of coffee. I always overtip at under patronized restaurants, like the one I frequent here in town.

I don't actually go to restaurants - tight boyfriends, so i don't get to tip but i think if i did i'd tip about 20% as well, depending on the service and if they included a charge on my bill (my friend says it happens alot on her bills).

Over here it generally only happens with large parties.

I don't want to set up breakfast...or coffee...or deliver receipts. I'm going on strike. On second thought, I don't think that will work without a union backing me up. Instead I'll just do my bloody job (and the servers' bloody job).

My invisible friend, Little Monster, has helped to cheer me up too. She's not really a monster. She's a pixie. She's cute. And the great thing is, she uses me to talk so everyone can talk to her. Just like Mr. Hand Man.

To Tweet one's Feet, thou shall use capital letters on Twitter and shout for all the world to see, TWEET MY FEET. Therefore Tweeting with thou's Feet. Tis rather amusing for 3 minutes.


Ah she sounds wonderful! My Teddy Bear Munky normally uses me to commicate his dislike of John and his love of F1, and then there is Mr Clyde, John's Orang-outang bear who is madly in love with Mr Nico Rosberg *points to siggy* we normally argue mid race when i start cheering for someone else. And Munky and Mr Clyde, while normally best of friends, get into HUGE arguments each race weekend, and Munky always mocks Mr Clyde with his Denim Dungeree's and Mr Clyde cries because his bottom is bare.

I'm sure that makes her very happy. We need to start it up again. Yeah, he's Furry Face. He didn't like that nickname at all; not sure why. And, right now it doesn't fit him. He has a smooth face. Well, kind of. He had one. It was already sharp 12 hours later. For a bit, though, he had a Hugh Laurie thing going on. He didn't do it as well as Hugh Laurie, but it still worked.

I was watching Grey's Anatomy last night with French subs and no sound - it totally lost half way through, but somehow i was able to understand what was goin on lol, so my old French teacher won't be ashamed her star pupil forgot all she was taught haha.

I wanted to have read through it so that tomorrow I could watch what's going on (and participate comfortably) tomorrow during church with the intent of understand things. Wednesday will be back to online business as usual.

*pouts* i wish i could dye my hair but its still too brittle to do anything with it *looks longily at Hair dryer and Straightners.* i hate having curly hair, why can't it just be naturally sleek and straight? And OMG the colour! Its driving me nuts, its like light brown for 7 inches, then its dark brown for 3 inches then i have about an inch worth of blonde root coming through! Blast thy family genes!!!!
