Hmm, i need to post in the notice board and chase down all of our papergirls to see if they're promoting the edition. No reviews so far, it makes me sad.

My boyfriend read some of the stuff. He referred to it as cute. This was in reference to the Hoscars.

just got a letter off my local authority who i rent my flat from, they've screwed me over, they took me to court last year over rent arrears, i won, now they're taking me back to court, so i phoned them and said i don't know what the hell is going on and they told me, not to worry its just to ensure the court order is amended to say we must pay £26 per fortnight, so i said fine, THEN this morning a letter arrives and its a witness statement claiming that i have persistently missed payments, and constantly ignoring letters and doorstep visits. Which a load of BS because, no-one has been out to visit me and the only letter i've had is the one telling me i'm going to court. I'm furious, i can't believe someone would lie in a witness statement!

That's crappy. I don't think they'll be successful, though. Jerks.

Yeah, i'm gonna speak to a lawyer on Monday and see what he/she says i should do.

General advice would be to save the letter you did receive. Avoid putting anything in writing to them at this point, as things could be misconstrued. Most importantly, though, talk to a lawyer A.S.A.P., which you know of course.

I plan on doing just that. I think as well, if i get my lawyer to ask them, in court, why they felt the need to lie in a statement, it will throw them off guard because they'll have to submit their "logs" as to when they supposedly "visited" my home to talk to me, and all copies of their letters will need to be logged as well, now i know these are easily created and an old date added, but i think if get my lawyer to say something like "have them fax over the evidence right now" they can't worm out of it or anything like that, they'll be forced to admit it was a lie.

I had planned on going up to the office and confronting the woman who is supposedly the witness, but my mum talked me out of it saying that by assaulting an employee i would lose my home instantly and end up arrested.

I could go beat them with sticks. Then they wouldn't want to take you to court anymore...probably because they could get more money out of me in a civil suit. After I get the criminal case finished up, that is.

i have to admit its a first to be following my mum's advise, but beating them up is so tempting, if they were ordinary people i'd have knocked them out by now, its not the done thing on an estate like the one where i live. Council Estates, have a bad name you know, everyone thinks they're filled with drug addicts and there's always loads of violence, well maybe else where, but up here, we're a tight community, you hurt one of us you hurt all of us kinda thing, and its safe for kids to play outside in the streets, there's no burglaries or car thefts or anything like that.

What a conversation! Lmao.

I just finished watching the curious case of Benjamin Button and i have to say, its better than The Notebook and i cried like a baby, it is amazing!

That movie is amazing!

Did you know, I've been stuck by lightening seven times! One time I was just walking through the feilds minding my own business! lmao so funny xD

hehe i was half expecting him to die in bed, after being struck by lightening for an 8th time.

I never expected it to be as good as it was, and i think the last time i actually loved a movie like that was with The Notebook, and no other film had ever replaced it as one of my all time favorites but, god this film tops the notebook!

I think it won loads of awards too... and Mr. Pitt Phiiiitttt just amde the movie all the better! G* he's dreamy xD

Yes... back to the pensieve... I think the 1st of August is too far away for the next pensieve... and July is busy a month... how about we try for the middle of june... that's plenty of time!

um when i did the whole shake up it was on the understanding that its released on the 1st of a month, that way no-one can complain about not knowing the release date and what not.

Plus releasing it in June is too soon, i wanted to have about 8 weeks between each edition, that way we had 6 weeks to plan and write, one week to pull together and one week off after release.

M.... I guess soo... mweh... It was just a thought... I'm a little egar now that Ive seen what the pensieve can do... I wanna be in a part of everything!

Also for those who want to take part with Celebsville, we'll need to discuss what "event" will happen for the next Edition, and have a proper work plan so it gets completed instead of half done like the Hoscars, which by the way was super fun to write

Ermm... we could do something like a visit to the hospital or something and the 'reporter' could be the receptionist and everyone from HE could arrive with different injuries?

A hospital isn't really a celeb event though.

I had a couple of idea's last night:

*Do something like the MTV Music awards, with "live" bands and the general "live" coverage.

*Reporting from the set of a HE-Soap, getting all the gossip etc.

*Celeb event - Charity ball/gala, lots of guests, misbehaviour, people puking in the flower pots, weeing in wardrobes, the usual drunkeness.

And for release, we need to agree on something, we either release in July, and those who have lots to do in the run to prepare for 4th July will just have to submit their reports etc early, or release in August and Stephy you do all the work, while i totally rock on my much needed trip i can just picture it now, loads of skinny hottiful people and then little pale fat me I'd rather release July so that i don't have to worry about the pensieve getting released, if everything gets handed in, you know like i did in January when i almost had a meltdown from not being here lol, but at the end of the day it's a descion we have to make.

we'll go august if it suits, my idea was simply a thought xD

Yes Matthew, I do want editorials. I always do! Tee hee. Just put it in my office, and I'll store it away for proofreading and consideration.

Okay so i've suggested a compromise on the release of next issue, in the checklist thread, i'm going to be cleaning the forum tomorrow/friday so if anyone has any ideas on threads we need, say so now!

That sounds like a good idea Etta. Personally, I probably won't be doing anything on the 4th. I'll likely be working. I also think it's a good idea to keep it at the first of the month. We'll have one before July, though. Right?

No, i've learnt from previous editions not to have them too close together, so i try to leave abour 6 to 8 weeks between editions and because i want to launch on the 1st of every month, making July the exception to suit everyones needs, we'll be releasing one month skipping the next, releasing the month after etc etc etc.

i wish we had a more dedicated team and more dedicated readers to be able to release an edition each month, but we don't so we can't....urgh muesli.

I'm going to feel so bad when August comes around. I probably won't be able to be on staff then. Even if I have internet at home, I'll have a baby taking up all my time.

That's understandable, i guess when it comes time for you to pop Thomas out we'll have to find someone else to take over Editorials, gah i don't wanna think about that! I need to relax my brain!

I just remembered i'm at hospital tomorrow, gah, hmm what music should i listen to? I think Country .... hmm, bit of Carrie Underwood, lol reminds me of when my Step Dad used to play Pasty Cline at 4 in the morning, yes country it is.

One thing I was thinking was that perhaps I could convince my boyfriend to join and we could work together on it. Of course, that would require approval by you, but then you would have two dependable people working as one and wouldn't really have to re-recruit.

I love Carrie Underwood. Little Monster likes to call her Hairy Underwear. My friend, Nikki, doesn't like that very much.

I'm listening to Flat on the Floor, love that song, i'm thinking of the next album to review and its not happening, i think i'll have to re-try doing the Kelly Clarkson one, but ... i think the new Green Day album will be out in time for Edition 11 so i'm kinda thinking, i'll cover that.

"Hi Etta-Monster!!" She just was of the opinion that Carrie Underwood sounded like Hairy Underwear. I've really not heard much from her newest album. I'm partial to "Some Hearts" and "Wasted". Of course, I also loved "Before He Cheats".

*edit* Also, I finished up a first draft of my editorial. It's over 1500 words, though. That feels a bit on the long side. I know I'm a bit ahead of myself, but there's no way of knowing whether I'll go through my unmotivated stages or something between now and the deadline.

I read your rough draft, the length is needed, i believe, because you can not condence the experiences, the emotions and the difficulties into 500 words or less, do not worry about length, its very well written and i was surprised at how much of what you wrote i could relate to, *whispers* i still cry and have one heck of a temper. Anyways, do not make it smaller.

I also think that Edition Eleven's campaign should be on Depression, we had internet awareness for edition ten, and i believe that edition 11 being Depression Awareness, would be beneficial to everyone. Do you agree?

I agree whole-heartedly. It's a good thing to make people aware of. Now hopefully I can get a third person to interview. If not, two will suffice, I think. I'll have my baby do a second proofread of the editorial I wrote. I felt the same way about its length. I really couldn't condense it without losing something important. I'm nervous about what the result of the editorial will be. I'm afraid people will treat me differently. It's worth that risk, though.

Oh....now thats something I could relate to. If you want, i could write a small thing on how depression took over my life and what happen and how I had to deal with it when no one but me and this boy who finally turned me in to the school...just bad bad times.

Actually, even better than that would be if you would let me interview you. I'd like to get three interview sources. *wink, wink*

It being about depression, I have never really, ever, been depressed... so you could use me as a role model example xD

If you want, I could offer some input on what it's like being close to a person who's really depressed/considering suicide, though my input wouldn't be very much because thankfully, the people I was close to never actually acted on what they were considering and I didn't have to do much except listen and comfort.

I know someone else you can talk to. Ill PM them to you if you like.

Pamela, interview as many people as you can. Having as many people as possible will mean that the message gets out there, that we all know someone who is depressed, or who is depressed and has been for a long time. I completed your questions, it was hard but sort of, freeing at the same time.

I also think it would be good to have something from the side of those who have been affected by other people's depression, like June, and also Matthew who as he said, has never been depressed, then you have all sides of the triangle.

I'm going to run with the new edition being our Depression Awareness Campaign, Lesley do you think you, Sha and Sashi could do it Graphic wise? I can help, i may not be good at graphics but i can help with texts and what not, and make sure not so hideous graphics and if i must, i'll ask Elana to help again.

Does anyone want to interview the Mods of H.E? On Depression? Asking them all 3 questions like:

What would you do if you found out someone on HE had depression?

How would you act if a member of HE committed suicide as a result of depression?

What would you do to prevent/help anyone suffering from depression on HE?

that kinda thing. I think it would be good to see what the mods have to say, because this is an issue as a site we must be united on, on HE we're like a family, so it would be good to get everyone's words.

I've just had an idea as well, what about posting in the notice board for site members to sum up in one sentance what they feel could be done to help those with Depression or what they think of people who suffer from Depression, i'd want complete honesty, so i wouldn't be surprised if someone said something like "they're just attentuion seekers" and if someone did say something like that, i'd like to prove them wrong, with our hard work, with Pamela#'s Editorial, with our interviews, with our take that we are form attention seekers.

I know I can. I plan to start when I get home, just to get a early start. And believe me, I have been called an attention seeker so much during depression, I just learned to ignore it. And Pammers, I answered those questions too

Have you seen my graphics lately? They are very depressing...I'm sure I can do it this time. I was gonna start them last night, but my computer was to darn slow, so I just went to bed. Maybe someone should do a thing on cutting, like how it makes the depressed one feel, if they are doing the cutting, and what its like. And how hard it is for the one who is doing it to stop. Just something that popped into my head...can people still do editorals? if so, I could that, if not. Then Pammers or Stephy could. I know Pammers could.
