Wondering (Vi and Odd)

Henry didnt know what to do. Somedays he felt like Phoenix was there and others, he felt like she didnt even care for him. But he couldnt complain, Alice was the highlight of his life. Just seeing her smiled made him happier then everything. But he couldnt see her anymore and he sighed, leaning back on the tree.

Henry picked up Alice, feeling the pain she was feeling. "Come on love." He whispered softly, his anger gone as Alice cried heavily into his shoulder. He disapparated home, looking at Jessibel. He didnt say anything as he sat down, rocking Alice to sleep.

Henry looked up at Jessibel, then looked at Alice, who had fell asleep. He quietly laid her on the couch and grabbed Jessibel's hand, making her follow him to his room again. He quietly shut the door, walking over to his bed and sitting down on it. He pushed his hair back, sighing.

Henry looked at her before laying back. "Her mother cleaned the house out, left. She doesnt know where she is." Henry whispered, looking up at her.

Henry nodded, grabbing her hand again. "I'm tired." he mumbled, pulling her to lay beside him.

"What do you want to do? Do you want to leave or stay?" he asked her softly, looking down at her

"Jessibel, I love you ok. You are my spawn, my problem. Alice needs to get over it. She cant always have her way." He told her softly, leaning up on his elbow. He pushed a peice of hair form her face, kising her on the forehead softly.

"She should be use to it. Her mother left all the time." He said, laying back down. He kicked off his shoes he had put back on when he left and unbutton his shirt. He stood up and walked over to the drawer grabbing pair of pants to sleep in and looked at her night clothes. "See if want these before I throw them out." he told her.

Henry grabbed her hand. "You arent leaving...not..not..nevemind." he said softly, walking back to his bed. He pulled the cover back, laying down.

"Hmm..." Henry said softly, pulling the covers up/ "I'm going to bed. Dont stay up to late." He said, turning out the lamp beside him.

Henry soon fell asleep, the stress from today getting to him. He woke up sometime after that and seen Jessibel wasnt in the bed, but he didnt mind. he rolled back over and fell back asleep.

Henry's eyes flashed open and he jumped from the bed, running upfront to see Jessibel screaming. Quickly, he ran over to her and went to pick her up until he felt her emotion. Pain filled him as he stood up, looking down at her. She would only think of him as a monster and he turned around, looking for a cover and drapped it over her. He kissed her forehead, not caring if she was awake or not and turned around, walking back to his room.

Henry laid back down, watching the darkness in his room. He didnt know what else to do to make her stop seeing him as a monster. He gave her the choice to leave and she was to scared. He tried to be nice to her, but she didnt want it. He let a sigh escape from him before hearing his door open. He leaned up and smiled, seeing Alice tip toe in. "Come on, Sunshine." he said softly, lifting the covers for her to crawl under.

Alice smiled at Henry before falling asleep beside him. Henry had tried to get back to sleep, but couldnt. After a few hours, he got up and walked into the living room, looking at Jessibel. He wrote a letter to her incase she woke before he got back with a few bags of blood/

"You can come lay down." Alice said softly, sniffling a bit. She looked up at Jessibel, her doll in one hand and the cover lifted in the other hand.

Alice watched her before yawning, moving close to Jessibel. She laid her head near her arm, sniffling. "I dont care." She whispered softly, tears merging in her eyes again.

Alice nodded, sniffling again. She closed her eyes, trying to stop the tears from falling, but didnt succed. She started crying harder before she fell asleep. Henry walked back in, shutting the door quietly. He put the blood bags into the fridge, setting down three boxes. Two for Alice and one for Jessibel. He had picked up one of Alice's favorite movies and a doll he had promised her one year. For Jessibel, he got her a book, to help her with her dreams.

Henry walked towards his room to wake up Alice when he saw Jessibel laying beside her and Alice's arm around Jessibel. Silently, he walked over to Alice and picked her up. He carried her to her room and laid her in the bed. He shut the door and walked back into the living room, pushing his hair back./

"Hmm...yet if he was alive, you would be out of here in a heart beat." Henry said, a bit harshly. He walked into the kitchen and got a bag of blood out for himself and let his fangs shift, biting into the bag.

"So you think that makes it ok? To kill me, because of what I am? Would you kill my daughter?" He hissed, throwing his bag aside. He had his hands on her arms in seconds, glaring. "Would you kill my daughter for what she is? A little girl who cant help she was made into a monster like me? That we have to have blood because it keeps us alive?" he asked her, looking into her eyes.

Henry looked at her for a few seconds before bring her close and kissing her. He let all the anger, hate and sadness out into that one kiss before he pulled around, walking to his den with a hard look on his face. He slammed the door shut, walking to his desk.

Henry sat in his office, writing some notes for the Minister again. He didnt let anything cross his mind until the door of his office was opened and little feet crossed the room. Alice made her way up in Henry's lap, laying her head against his chest. "I'm hungry." She said, trying to bite him. Henry smiled at her, standing up. "Come on...I'm not the food." he told her, walking back into the kitchem.

"Come on, Jessibel." Henry told her, setting Alice down in her chair. He pulled a bag out for her, putting it in her cup she liked before grabbing two wine glasses and filling them with blood.

"Here." Henry said, pushing the glass into her hand. He took a sip of his own before walking to his room to start cleaning up a bit.

Henry finished cleaning his room and downed his blood before walking into the kitchen. He sat his glass in the sink, along with the others. "Alice, go clean your room, love." He said to her. She nodded, skipping from the room. "Get your stuff and put them in the guest room if you want to." He said to Jessibel.

Henry just shook his head. "I said you can move to the guest room, not leave. Damn, they seem to get stupider and stupider." he hissed to himself, trying to ignore the pain he felt from the words he said. "Besides, you know what happen last time you left." he said to her.
