Ginny noticed Lupin as she walked out of her Common Room. She bustled over, calling out to him so that hopefully he would slow down. When Ginny finally had caught up with him, she was out of breath, but that wouldn't stop her questioning.

"Good morning, Professor Lupin. I have to ask you-where and who were you with after dinner until the body was found? And, pardon me for asking but" Here she dropped her voice. "Is it close to a full moon?"

:: Herby entered the room as it grew silent over the full moon comment. Herby stepping in quickly asks::

"Do you by chance still have to take potion, to hold back the werewolfness? And if so, do you put you potion in a glass container or bottle?"

(Remus welcomed Ginny and Herby into the office.)

"Please come in. I was expecting some questions, and please do not fear, the full moon is still just under a week away."

(Remus smiled and poured the three of them a goblet of steaming tea each, his tattered black robes swimming against his pale skin)

"Now lets see, ah yes! I was in a, shall we say, conference, right here in this office, with who, I would rather not say at present."

(Turning to Herby, he smiled)

"Yes, it is unfortunate, but I do take that wonderous potion, though Severus Snape presents it to me in a goblet. What he brews it in I am unsure."

Ginny took a sip of the tea and smiled.

"Thank you, sir. Now, I was wondering where were you after dinner up until the body of Professor Trelawney was found?"

“I understand Remus, that you don’t wish to state who was in your office, but could you at least state if it was a professor or a student. It would help so much, as I understand the confidentiality rule.”

:: Herby sipped her tea again, and was quiet enjoying it.::

::Jen enters the room and smiles at the professor and her classmates.::

"Hello Professor Lupin," she says cheerfully. "I see I'm already a bit late with the questioning. My but I hope you don't mind me commenting but your black robes are quite tattered. Are they really old or did you tear it on something recently?"

"Umm Remus. Where you by chance with Tonks? She had stated that she was with someone, and she's a bit tipsy. By chance is this what happened to your robes?" ::Herby waited for a response.::

"Just been talking with Tonks, my you do both make a lovely couple i am rather jealous, anyway, moving on, i just wanted to ask you if you knew some of the ingredients which were used to brew your potion? Professer Snape is being a pain and wont answer my questions at present."

“I went for a short walk by the rose beds before returning straight to my office for my…conference and I was there until the second scream alerted us that there was something wrong, and, well it was not exactly either professor or student to be precise.”

(Remus smiled at Jenn)

“I do not mind at all, though it is unfortunate in my case that these tattered robes are due to age, and no, it has nothing to do with anything that may have occurred last night.”

(He fiddled with his goblet)

“Ah, you have been speaking with Tonks then?”

(Remus smiled at Etta)

“If you are asking whether Devils Snare would be used in my potion, then the answer is no. Devils snare would be a tricky ingredient to use in many potions”

"Yes, we've been talking to Tonks. Poor thing hasn't been able to give us many answers though. She said she was with a "good friend" most of the night. I believe that friend was you, sir. Could you tell us what happened? Any wineglasses broken?" Ginny asked, recalling what had happened during Tonks' interview.

(He frowned)

“No…I don’t think so”

(Remus smiled at Ginny)

“Ah, well I guess Tonks has let you know it was me, and let me think…ah yes, well I believe she did break a wine glass…she can be clumsy sometimes…”
