Last Night

Violet made her way outside, pulling her hair into a ponytail. She recalled the events that had happened yesterday and she mumbled under her breath. Sinister and Max getting together and Clafin and Luke together. She wondered where she belonged among the friends she had and put it together, she was a thrid wheel. Like always. She under one of the few trees around Hogwarts, she pulled out a book and started reading.

Clafin walked outside and saw Violet beneath a tree. She ran over to her as fast as she could. "Hey Vi," she said as she gasped for air. "Whats up?"

Violet looked up from her book, a slight glare on her face. "Hello Clafin." She said, turning to her to book. Deciding not to be rude, she put it away shaking ehr head. "Sit." She told her, patting the ground.

Clafin sat down next to her as she grinned at her friend. "Whats wrong? You seem kinda...glum." she asked sincerely.

Violet shrugged, not saying nothing. There wasnt nothing wrong with her, not that she knew of.

"Oh, alrighty then." Clafin said as she looked down at her hands.

"How are you?" Violet asked her softly.

"I'm great. " she said quietly. She didnt want to offend her friend by saying anymore than she had.

"That's good." She told her, leaning back against the tree.

"Errr. Yea." Clafin said awkwardly. "So, did you hear about Max and Sinister? she asked eagerly,

"How could I not?" She asked her, turning her head to him. "I am the third wheel..to them and you and Luke." She said, shrugging. "I'm use to it." She told her.

Clafin felt horrible when she heard Violets response. "Well what happened to you and uh...Seth?"

"Seth? He was someone old to me. He is the father of our children...and that's all he is and will be." She told her, shrugging. "It was over before it started....we tried to convince ourselves it was real...couldnt take the hits and tears." She mumbled.

"Oh" she said sympathetically. She looked up at Violet and grinned. "I have an idea!" she yelled excitedly.

Violet raised an eyebrow. "And what is that idea?" She asked her.

"We are going to get you a boyfriend!" she giggled.

Violet looked at her like she was crazy. "Yes and who would like a vampire?" She asked her.

"Well I bet lots of people would. In case you havent noticed Violet, youre freaking gorgeous" Clafin said assuringly.

Violet narrowed her eyes. "Just because you think that doesnt mean others do." She told her, nodding.

"Oh yeah? How would you know?" she asked in retort

"I didnt say I knew. I said just because you think that doesnt mean others dont." She told her. "Everyone sees beatuy differently then another." She told her.

"True, but someone would have to be crazy not to like you. I mean, come on. Your smart, kind, and beautiful. A triple threat" She said through a grin.

"Smart...no. Kind...only when I need to be. Beautiful..you're blind." Violet told her.

'Oh please. Your devoting your...well afterlife to healing others. How is that not kind?" Clafin said quickly

"Because before that I happened to make three vampires all of which go to this school." She told her.

"But, you've obviously changed." Clafin offered.

"Yeah...sure.." Violet said, shrugging.

"Stop being so gloomy." Clafin pleaded

"I'm not gloomy. Just...annoyed?" She told her, shrugging again.

"Aha. I thought you said nothing was wrong." Clafin said quickly. "Okay Vi, spill."

"I already told you what was wrong." Violet told her, standing up.

"Well I am trying to help." she said

Violet nodding before grabbing her arm. "Well, go put your plan into action...I'll stay behind you to prove you right." She told.

"Alright then I will." she said as she tried to think of a guy good enough for her friend. She could only think of one...but he was already taken. She walked off trying to think of someone.

Violet sighed and followed her, pushing a hand threw her hair.

Clafin ran back to where Violet had been earlier. "Hey! Guess what?" she said excitedly

Violet looked up at her with a raised eyebrow. "yes?" She asked her.

"I know someone who likes you!" she said as she hopped up and down from ecitement.

"That was...quick..." Violet said, shaking her head.

"I told you it would be!" she said quickly.

Violet just rolled her eyes, crossing her arms some.

"So...?" she said impatiently. "Dont you want to know?"

"Shoot for it." She told her, running a hand threw her hair agian.

"Well, you know my friend...Thomas?" she said hesitantly.

"The one with the Sparks girl..yeah." She told her.

"Correction. The one thats totally and completely single and likes someone. Guess who? You!" she said overly excited.

Violet looked confused for a few seconds before bursting out laighing. She fell on the ground, holding her stomach.

"Oh come on. He's not that bad." Clafin said in a confused tone.
