The Hogwarts Bonfire Night Party

::Amy walked out onto the grounds of Hogwarts, and over towards the crowd of people gathered around the as-of-yet unlit bonfire. She smiled at several of the students as she passed by, and went to stand near the refreshments tables, which practically groaned beneath the weight of the boxes of burgers and hot dogs which would be cooked later on.

She glanced up at the sky and was pleased to see the stars were out in full force, and though it was cold, there was no sign of clouds or rain. The perfect night for a bonfire and fireworks.

"Welcome students and professors to Hogwarts's very own Bonfire Night Party! This evening is sure to be fun packed - we have burgers and hot dogs for later, we'll be lighting the bonfire and burning our guy fawkes doll later, and then to round it off, there will be fireworks!

And there are sparklers for sale for anyone who wants them."

::She smiled, indicating the box of sparklers with her gloved hand. The students began to talk amongst themselves, and Amy made her way over to join in with the Guy Fawkes night celebrations.::

::Caree runs in with her arms filled of different explosive stuff::

"HEEEEEYA!!!!! On the menu is.... Flying heads, Bloody Bones, Splashing Bloodbombs, Bulging Eyeballs.... All of these are homemade!" ::Caree said excitedly, putting down her things::

::Elly stepped into the darkness of the night, the moon was large and the stars twinkled brightly. She couldn't wait for the fireworks, the magical kind had to be better then the muggle kind. Then she saw the ready-to-be-lit bonfire and squeed! Mainly because fire is great for her! The Pyromaniac she is::

::Ginny hesitantly walked out onto the grounds of Hogwarts Experience. This was her first Bonfire Night-well, the Guy Fawkes kind. She shivered slightly, and hugged her cloak tighter around her. Perhaps wearing a miniskirt hadn't been her best idea. But it was pink and pretty and she of course just HAD to wear it::

"Hey Caree! Save some sparklers for meeeeeeeeeee!" ::she cried, trying to run across to her. But, being who she is, the heel of her boot slid on the grass and she ended up on her back on the ground.::

"Oooh look how pretty the sky is!" ::the red head squealed, her short attention span taking over for the time being. Tying her cloak extra tightly over her jacket and tank top, she decided to see if she could find some sort of shooting star and make a wish on it.::

"Come on...show yourself! I command you!!"

~Jesse quietly slipped out of the shadows of the dark night and slowly walked towards the few people that were gathering on the grounds. His blue eyes twinkled like the stars in the sky as the cool air feathered back his soft blond hair. He was glad he was wearing his thin jacket for the chilly wind made him shiver a little. He saw a familiar red headed girl and walked up quietly behind her putting his hands over her eyes~ "Guess who?" he whispered quietly to her~

::Elana walked out to the grounds where the Bonfire party was to be held, gazing up at the sky, smiling and humming a sweet tune to herself. tTo protect her against the cold, she had put on a black button down coat that went to her knees over a pale blue sweater and her usual jeans which covered all but the white toes of her black high tops. She wrapped her blue and silver knit scarf more tightly around her neck; the night was cooler than she had expected.::

::There weren't too many people there yet, she noticed, as she got to the start of the fires. But she spotted her parents right away, Elana's mum's bright hair easially recognizable. She grinned and rubbed her gloved hands together for warmth.::

::Jenn poked Elana in her back. "Boo!" She said with a smile. "I know Halloween's over but I still miss it. No more dressing up as Sailor Moon. Now I'm just a normal girl. That's so....blah." Jenn joked.::

::She pulled two Sparklers from behind her back. "Here, even though I'm still mad at you, you still get one." Jenn said as she pretended to give Elana a good glare.::

::Elana jumped as she was poked, frightened until she heard Jenn.::

"Gosh Jenn," she said, taking one of the Sparklers, "you scared me! Thank you. And I'm sorry...I was just trying to have a bit of fun. Forgive me? Ever?"

::Elana gave her an appologetic smile and held out her hand to Jenn.::

"Please?"

Drake walked through the dark grounds, clad in a pair of black pants with glow in the dark zippers and buttons and a white shirt with a trench coat on over it all. He whistled the Irish Quidditch team's theme as he walked, sweeping a hand through his dark, longish hair. Just ahead he heard the voices of his wife and Jenn and he grinned. Sneaking up slowly behind them, he slipped his arms around Elana's waist and leaned in close to her ear. " 'ello, love."

::Jenn smiled at the two and jumped up herself.::

"I'm not feeling too well, I think I'll take a nice walk along the Lake. Youi know where it's nice and quiet." She waved at them as she walked away. "Leave you two lovey dovey couple alone. Bye" She zipped up her jacket and kicked the sand a bit as she walked away.::

~Jesse still had his hands over Ginny's eyes and was still waiting for her to guess who he was. ~

~But as he stood there, he couldn't help but watch as the cool night's breeze blew through her soft red hair. It made his expression soften into a look of awe.

The light of the moon shone down upon her and gave her a glow like that of a goddess that had descended from the heavens. And seeing this made him smile. Ginny was truly beautiful.~

"Bye Jenn," Elana called after her friend, very much glad that she was done being 'mad' at her, and put her forearms and hands over Drake's. She turned her head around and smiled at him.::

"Hello darling. Lovely night, isn't it?" she said, looking up at the shining moon and bright twinkling stars. She sighed happily and leaned back, loving the moment.::

::She jumped, startled.::

"Ahh it's Guy Fawkes come back to-oh, it's you Jesse." ::the red head smiled and turned the rest of her body so that she was kneeling across from him. Ginny noticed him looking at her oddly and she shifted self conciously.::

"What is it? Is my cloak on backwards again...?" ::she looked down at her cloak-nope, all was okay.::

~He cleared his throat and then looked away quickly as he blushed~ "Uh...no it's just you look r-really beautiful..." He mumbled though he wasn't going to continue on with what he was thinking.

~Then he then looked over at Elana and Drake and smiled~ "They're kind of a cute couple...as long as they behave."

::Ginny flushed a colour similar to that of her red hair. She was silently thanking the sun for going down for its bedtime so that-hopefully-Jesse wouldn't see how she was blushing. She cleared her throat and smiled as well, following his gaze.::

"Yeah...and if they don't...well...they'll regret that now won't they?"

Seamus ran up alongside his borther and Elana, smirking. "Oh, aren't you such a cute couple?" He make a gagging motion and lenaed over to Elana. "I think you could have done better!" He snickered and rapped Drake on the back of the head with his wand, his hair turning hot pink. "Have fun you two." He ran off after Jenn who he noticed had just left the two, twilring his wand in his fingers he ran up beside her. "Hey Jenn."

"That's what you think," Elana called after him. She turned her head and looked back at the now pink haired Drake. "Don't listen to him, he's just jealous that he isn't married yet," she said with a laugh. "I'm honestly suprised that he isn't; usually guys are married within the first few weeks after joining the H.E." Elana paused, trying to hold back her laughter at his hair and said, "I really don't think I could get used to your hair."

::Jenn turned around as she heard someway say her name.::

"Hmm? Oh it's just you." She joked with a fake sigh. Jenn couldn't hold up the face and gave him a smile. "I'm about to take a walk by the Lake. Want to join me?"

Drake looked crosseyed at a piece of hair hanging down across his forehead. "Bloody..." He sighed and looked after Seamus as he followed Jenn. "He's always been that way." Drake removed his wand from his pocket and tapped himself on the head. However, instead of his hair taking back its normal ebony color...it turned neon orange. "Bollocks..." He forwned. "I'm really off today."

::Elana laughed and pulled out her own wand.::

"It's alright, we all have our off days. Here," she said, tapping her wand on his head and turning his hair dark again. "That's better," she said, smiling up at him.::

"Gee, thanks Jenn." Seamus slipped his wand back into his pocket. "I love you too...so mean to me." He rolled his eyes and put his hands in his pockets. "Sure, why not?"

::Jenn put her hand to her throat in mock shock. "Mean? Nobody ever thinks I'm mean." She gave Seamus a wink. "You actually know my true side."

::She walked along the Lake a bit. "So how do you like HE so far?" She asked. Suddenly slowing down a bit, Jenn grinned. "Yeah, let's not go too far. I don't trust you." She joked.::

He smirked, looking over at the glassy surface of the lake. "Its going well enough...people seem to at least pretend to like me." He chuckled a bit and then looked to Jenn. "Oh really?" He quirked a brow. "What's not to trust about me?"

::Jenn patted Seamus's arm sadly. "Yeah, it's very hard to keep pretending to like you though." She joked with a smirk. "But Drake promised me a puppy if I did it the whole school term."

Jenn bit her lip and thought about it for a moment. "I don't know. I've just saying you might not be trustworthy. After all, it's not like I've known you for that long. Just that you like to annoy your brother and you like weird ships." She said with a laugh.::

Dancing walked Out to the grounds she said

"so is there spiked punch here to?" She laughed

Stephy walked out to the bond fire looking for people she knew. There Elana[b] she thought to herself but didnt go to say hi becuase she looked busy. Instead Stephy walked over to the lake and started at the water.

It looked pretty with the stars shining back at her reflecting inthe water. [i]Whens this bonfire going to begin she thought to herself.

Stephy sat down at the edge of the water throwing rocks into and watching the ripples form across the water.

::Jenn noticed Seamus getting very quiet and gave him a hug. "I'm just kidding! Of course I trust you! The part about the weird ships are true though. And don't worry I'm only mean to people I realy like." She teased. Jenn peered up at his face and took hold of his hand to drag him off. "Come on, I'll drag you to a dark corner to show you that I trust you. But for no other reason!" Jenn said as she laughed.::

After being bored at starting at water for a while she thought that she would go and say hi to Elana.
Stephy walked up to her and said "HEY ELANA, do you think that were gonna win the qudditch cup this year" she said grinning at the though of qudditch

Dancing's eyes followed the rippling on the water, it seemed to call to her inviting her in. She obeyed. She changed quickly with help from her wand. And dove into the Dark water.

She was met with the wild chill of ice among the first few strokes. Her head broke the surface and she lay on her back looking up at the stars. I wonder if they would notice if I died, would they care? She took a deep breath and let herself dink into the water. Sometimes she felt so disconected from the others, so frustrated and unwanted.

Hey what is she doing Stephy thought to herself. She quickly returned to the lake to see if she was ok.

"Hey, what are you up to?" Stephy asked

:: skully was searching for the bonfire party when she saw a big light ::

That's probably them.

:: she smiled and hurried to get there. When she did, she looked around and saw Jenn and Seamus, and Jesse and Ginny, and Lana and Drakey. ::

WOMG couples! i knew it! lalalala... i won't disturb any of them, then... ^^

:: she thought, with a veeery large smile on her face ::

Oh, look! There's Stephy at the lake! and... who's there with her?

:: she walked to her, wondering ::

"Hey Steph! what are you doing here? Going for a dive at this hour? Hey, is that sunset?"

"We so are!" Elana cried towards the lake in answer to Stephy's question. "Ravenclaw for the Cup!"

::She let out a wild whoop of victory and punched the air with her fist, nearly hitting Drake in the face.::

"Whoops...sorry Drake," she said, smiling apologetically.::

Dancing heard her name and faced her head toward shore. And waved.

"Hey Steph and Skully. Come on in the water's great." She said laughing

'finally someone other than a couple had arived'

"Hey Skully i just came over here to see hows in the water" Stephy answered her.

"I giess i can jump in, water never hurt anyone" Stephy shouted out to Dancingsunset. Stephy than jumped into the lake. "Your right the water is great"

Dancing stoked up back to shore. And waved to Skully and Stephy. "I love this water in November, so peaceful, and tranquil. It seems like this is the only world."

*Brunette stumbled down the hill throught the darkness a sshe searched for wand. She found it, hidden in the pocket of her school robes. But, she didn't need it now because she saw a well lit bon fire with a group of people already surrounding it.*

Stay calm, just be yourself Holl she thought as she took a deep breath.

*She approached the group slipping quietly down onto a bench and stared up at the night sky. It was really beautiful out, but she hoped she didn't look too out of place.*

Dancing saw Holly and waved "Come on and enjoy the night instead of looking at it. Swim in the stars!" She called

It looked like she was swimming in the stars, she wanted to swim. Swim forever and ever, until she was part of the water.

"Thank you, me lovely." He smiled as she fixed his hair for him. "Bit tired meself." He stretched a bit, putting his arms back around her. "So how ab-." He was cut off by her fist grazing his cheek. It didn't hurt, just gave him a bit fo a start. "Bit excited are we?" He ginned, poking her in the sides playfully. "Who says Ravenclaw will take the cup?"

::Elana laughed, squirming to try and get away from his tickling and cursing her very ticklish self. Unable to stop laughing, she whipped around and hugged her arms around her sides to protect herself a bit, keeping a wary eye out for oncoming poking fingers.::

"About the cup, well, I do," Elana said, grinning. "And who says we won't?" she said, cocking an eyebrow.::

(lol, my friends and I do that side poking thing all the time. And we're all really ticklish....is that how you even spell it? hehee, I can't spell this early, it's 6:30ish am. I HAVE to get on between showering and eating and doing everything else before going to school, hehee :D )

DAncing rased her hand out of the water. "Hufflepuffs gonna win this year. We were so close last time, so close..."

"Well we all want our own houses to win but only one will" Stephy said to the others trying to end the conversation. She sensed a fight and she always hated fights (As to why she on the qudditch team no one will ever know lol)

Stephy swam around in circles a couple of times before stoping and just then started to float around in the water

*Brunette tore her eyes away from the night sky and smiled at Dancing, walking over and sat down next to her. She shivered and rubbed her hands together. it was a bit chilly out and she had left her jacket back at the castle. So she inched closer towards the fire, making sure none of the embers came her way*

"Well I don't know about that Hufflepuffs doing pretty good. But of course we don't have Elana." Dancing smiled at Holly. "What's up" Shre asked.

Drake smiled as she squirmed away from him. "I'll get you later." He ran a hand through his hair and stopped, looking over at the lake. "I never said Ravenclaw wouldn't." He chuckled a bit and looked over at her. "Its hard to know who to route for the Cup to be won by." He looked back over at her. "There's you in Ravenclaw, there's Seamus in Slytherin (though why would I want SLYTHERIN to win), and Jennin Hufflepuff. And, of course, me in Gyrffindor, naturally I'd want my house to win...but then I have three...I mean...two angry women after me...and Seamus."

(Lol, I know what you mean, I just got off an airplane...and am stuck on Ireland time again where its 3 am!)

Seamus smirked. "Thanks Jenn, all I need is another Drake!" He hugged her back lightly and followed as she seized his hand and drug him away. "We're outside though...sure you're going to find a dark corner?"

::Jenn stopped short and thought about it. "Hmm, you're right about that. Everywhere's dark." She admitted with a smile. "Oh well. What do you mean I'm like Drake? Cause we're both so smart, charming and well loved?" She joked as she bit her lip. "Well, I know that I am...not so sure about Drake though." Jenn started to walk back toward the bonfire.::

"There's you in Ravenclaw, there's Seamus in Slytherin (though why would I want SLYTHERIN to win), and Jennin Hufflepuff. And, of course, me in Gyrffindor, naturally I'd want my house to win...but then I have three...I mean...two angry women after me...and Seamus."

"Well, you do sort of have to root for your own house," Elana said, laughing at the joke he made about Seamus, "but for Quidditch...When Gryffindor isn't playing, then you're more free to cheer for whoever you like....even if there is going to be an angry woman or two or your brother chasing after you later."

::Hearing someone walking towards the bonfires, Elana turned around and saw Jenn and Seamus. She waved, smiling, and turned back to Drake.::

"You think that they're going to light them?" she asked, nodding towards the bonfires. "It is supposed to be a bonfire party...."

Dancing shivered under the gaze of the full moon. "I think I'll go for another swim," And dived back into the water.

Zexion stalked out onto the bonfire grounds, he contiuned to wear his normal, Slytherin robes not to concerned with his appearance. He wore a small, frown on his face and he had a book in his left had, which appeared to be in a different language. His misty blue eyes stared straight ahead, to where he was heading. A tree. "Finally.." He thought to himself. "I can be alone."

He glared at the girls shrieking in a high pitched voice, or laughing annoyingly at the bonfire. He manged to make his way to the tree, then sat down and flipped to what looked like three quarters of the way done the book. He mumbled quietly to himself as he read.

Wind swept by and blew through his messy bluey blonde hair. It didn't look dyed...Blue isn't a natural hair colour, so it must be.

After reading about twenty pages he closed the book and put it at his side. Looking ahead at all the happy couples and friends.
