Corbus: Man From Another World

Larkson sighed softly, leaning her head on one of her hands. She was almost there, but wasnt sure how long it would take, seeing as she was a bit distracted. She turned to look at Corbus for a few seconds before finally pulling in the drive way. She got out of the car, nodding a bit. "Yeah...I'll tell him." She said softly, pushing her hair back. She walked up the steps to her parent's house, opening the door before looking around. "Mom, dad?" She called out before shrugging. "Guess they are at work." She mumbled, biting her lip a bit before finally stopping at her brother's room.

"Hey...pack something blue and come on...I gotta show you something." She told him, walking back to the living room. She sat on the couch, turning to Corbus. "Come on and sit." She said, smiling at him. She wished he knew what love was because otherwise, she wouldnt have to take things really really slow. Not that she didnt like it, but it would be nice to have him hold her or at least understand what love was. She yawned a bit, leaning back on the couch.

Larkson turned and smiled at him again, leaning her head against his shoulder. "My brother should be out soon...." She mumbled, looking towards his door. She heard some movement and the door open and she stood up, smiling. "What is it Larkson? I'm trying to find Helena. She hasnt been to school in a few days." Seth told her. She rolled her eyes, taking his hand before pulling him to the door. Even though he protested, he didnt say anything else or try to move. Larkson pushed him in the car before turning to Corbus. "Come on, we can go now." She mumbled.

She got back in the car, putting her selt belt on before waiting for Corbus. "Larkson, come on...I want to...wait...where the hell have you been? You have been gone for days!" Seth yelled at her. She rolled her eyes, yawning agian. "I'll tell you later. Dont worry about me...and Helena is safe. Belive me...only for a few hours though." She said. "That's her brother, Corbus." She nodded towards him, yawning again. "Darn it...I'm tired." She mumbled, wondering why she was, once again, tired.

Seth grunted, crossing his arms and leaning back into the seat. Larkson smiled at him threw the mirror before backing out of the drive way and back to her house. When they got there, she walked into her house and grabbed some things before going back outside. "Ok, Corbus...we are ready.." She said, nodding to Seth. Seth raised an eyebrow, shaking his head. "I refuse to go anywhere until I know where we are going..." He said. Larkson rolled her eyes, shaking her head. "Come on....I swear...you get to see Helena." she said. Seth's eye lit up and he nodded, smiling. "Well, were to. America? Mexico?" He asked. Larkson laughed softly, shaking her head. "Try...some place different. I'll tell you when we get back to the er...cruiser?" She said, nodding.

"My old wand." She told him, pulling it out. She smiled a bit, putting it back up before grabbing both Seth and Corbus's hands. "Let's go!!!" She yelled, walking towards where she guessed the cruiser was. When they got there, she let go of their hands and walked over to the passenger side door, getting in and sitting back. "Well, come on!" She yelled, glaring a bit. "You two are worse then women." She mumbled, looking out her window. Seth looked at Corbus and back to Larkson. With a sigh, Seth made it way to the back, getting in before looking at her. "Where are we going?" he asked her again. Larkson rolled her eyes, waiting for Corbus to get in the cruiser before she started talking. She didnt want her brother to jump out and decide not to go.

Larkson smiled, turning to Seth. "Ok...so home is another planet. We are trying to-" She started before Seth rolled his eyes, leaning back. "The Prophet? Yeah, Helena told me all about him. And I thought you knew all this. Wasnt I mistaken." he said, nodding. Larkson raised an eyebrow before turning around, kicking Corbus softly. "That worked out better then I thought. I guess I can tell him the rest when we get there huh?" She asked him, laying her legs across his lap as she lead her head against the seat. Seth yawned, laying down before falling asleep. Larkson watched him, before pulling her wand out, making her hair go back blonde, changing the black she had in it. "Well...earth was fun for a while huh?" She asked him, smiling.

[color:7a5c=blu8e]Corbus was surprised to find out that Helena had told him already about the Prophet. he wondered how much she had told him and why she had told him about it. [i]Maybe it's because of this whole love thing[/i[ he thought to himself.

"How much did she tell you?" Corbus asked Seth. He wanted to see if Seth knew more than he did. Corbus could tell that Helena was keeping secrets from him but he didn;t know about what or why. "Did she ever mention me?" he asked Seth and than stopped himself from asking another question

Seth looked suprised but didnt say anything for a while. With a few seconds left of thinking, he shrugged. "She never talked about you...all I knew what she wasnt from this world...took awhile to get her to actually know that when I liked her, she was free to return feelings or leave." Seth said. Larkson turned her head to look out the window, yawning once more. She really didnt care for what they were talking about.

"Corbus...how many other planet's are here?" She asked him, turning her head towards him."I mean...what other planets do we humans know nothing of?" She asked him, pulling her wand out. She made a book appear infront of her, looking down at the front cover. It was really old, brown, and looked torn, like it was worthless but seen so much that it knew everything.

"This is a journal that my grandfather gave me before he died. You may like it...it's about love somewhere in there. He could explain it better then I could have anyways." She mumbled, turning to look back out the window again,.

Larkson smiled before turning to look at Seth. "Ok Seth, so when we get there...we need to start planning. You can stay in my room...I can stay with Helena or steal Corbus's bed or sleep in here for that matter." She said, shrugging. "But, please, dont do anything stupid. Dont try and wear anything other then the blue or try and challenge the guys there. Believe, they dont want your woman. They dont think that way anyways. But there are some things I want to show you." She said, smiling.

She grabbed Corbus's hand softly, running her hand light over his. "Are there anymore drawnings that I dont know of?" She asked him, turning his hand over and tracing the lines on it softly with her fingers.

Larkson nodded and sighed softly, not sure of what to talk about now. She bit down on her lip as she turned to look at Corbus, a smile coming to her face. "So what are going to do when we get there?" She asked him softly, looking back down at her book. She looked threw the diary a bit before setting it beside her and leaning back against the window once more. Seth didnt say anything as he looked at the planet. He could already feel a bad feeling in his stomach, like something was telling him he didnt want to be there and he shouldnt be there, but he kept quiet, not wanting to be the ruiner of anything.
