Corbus: School?

As Leona, walked down the steps, her direction was changed, from the moving stairs. "Bloody bipolar stair case!" She loudly shouted. To Leona these magical things still havnt sunk in. Since she was still new to the school she decided to wonder around a little. She took so many turns down each hallway, the girl decided to stop and just take a peek at what was in this pod. Leona checked around her shoulder, too see a tall slender guy. She asumed he was about 16. But then again Leona, isnt the best at making guesses.
She thought it would be best to introduce herself, after all he was quit handsome.
"Hello mate. My names Leona. Im a first year. What about you my deer" Leona had a tendancy of calling people 'deer, honey, darling' and lots of other cute names.

"Well I can sorta relate to that! I should be a third year. Its taken me awhile to get here. But here I am!" Leona said. She knew she looked like a first year, people laughed when the found out she was actually 14 years of age. She looked 12 or 13. "Are you new here?" She said with great curiosity? Leona had been at hogwarts for three days now, she could easily spot out the newbies. But then again... her first judgments never seem to be accurate. She looked up at Corbus, locking eyes with him. Oh I hope he doesnt think im actually 11 or 12! Leona thought to herself. She bite her lip glazing into the boys eyes waiting for his response.

"So Corbus, which house might you be in?"
Leona asked. She looked at Corbus... His eyes had been all over the place. She could tell he wished to be on his way. Leona wasnt sure where he might want to be, but she knew she'd probably ask. He almost looked lost. As if he didnt know where he might be going either.
"Corbus? She said exaderating his name a bit.[i] "Don you have somewhere you should be going? You looke side tracked." She remember how he said hed been here three days. Although he didnt look so sure of himself! Shed been here for almost a week... But days come and go here.
Leona looked around her shoulder thinking she heard something; maybe a call of her name. But it faded and she turned back around then looked at Corbus, whom seemed to be deep in thought.

Corbus, had asked Leona, if she knew how to get to Slytherin commons. Truth was she did, but she wasnt a part of that house. Which she was very happy about.
Leona looked around, she was tryn to see where even she was at the moment. After she located herself she figured out how to get to the Slytherin commons.
"Follow me. I can get you pretty much all the way back, but yes im not in slytherin so i cant get you in of course. Though you could probably figure that part yourself."
She said knowingly. She started walking slowly watching for Corbus, to follow.
"Corbus! You coming?" Leoona asked. Then she turned around and looked up at Corbus, who still seemed out of it, staring into space.

"Oh riddles are the worst!"
Leona said giggling softly. They kept walking towards the commons.
"This way Corbus." She said skipping along, their way. She Stoped to check which corner to turn at hen went left with Corbus, following her.
"So Corbus, not to be nosey" -actully she did mean to! But she kept talking... you seem as if your not so fond about your sister. Is this true?"
She asked. Leona is the curious type. She likes to know everything and everyone. she dremed of beng a journalist. Her dream was to get the scoop on all great wizard. She turned around faced Corbus, and started walking backwards. Looking back every few hours making sure she didnt run into anything.

Leona completely understood Corbus, and his feelings/
"I get what you mean. I mean.. its family, your obligated to love them. But when it comes to siblings-" Leona started to stutter off. Then "Y-Y-y-You just sortta....... well you know somewhere you do love the. But theres always the thought if you wernt family- But believe me! If you ever lost your sister,, those words coming out of your mouth of alike for her... They would just be all the more true."
Since Leona lost her siblings, she had great appriciation for them.
And she always tried convencing people, to not take their family for grantit.

Leona shook her head up and down. Showing she was listening to every word Corbus had said. But yet she was still a bit lost in her thoughts.
"Well if you dont mid... could you explain what happend with you sister, when you thought she was dieing?"
Leona had been interested in others lifes. She had a thing when it came to interfearing. She had always interfeard no matter what it came to. She had gotten a thrill, out of storys no matter how side tracked she was.

"Oh an enemy? Well you seem pretty friendly! Im not sure why you might have enemyies!" Leona aske curiously. She wasnt sure weither or not she was getting to a bottom story or not-
Leona and Corbus, reached the coomons. She didnt really want to send him off on his way, and stop talking to him. She grew fond of their conversations.
"Well where here. If ud like you can call me up," She had said hoping he would. She reached in her book bag searching for a pen. Then reached over and grabbed Corbus's hand and write down her number. "503 469 5545." She said out the numbers as they where writen.
"So i guess ill hopefully hear from you? And possibly see you in class!?"
The next day Leona awaited by the phone. Wishing for it to ring. She decided after a half hour of beong on her computer and sitting by the phone if it did not ring she would walk away.
Finaly the phone began to go off- "Hello?" Leona answerd with a giddy voice, she hoped the reply was from Corbus...

"Yes this is she?" Leona said in a uncertan voice. She was unsure if it was Corbus or not-
The first think that poped into her mind was does Corbus know of a cell phone? She wasnt sure if he did becasue hes not from the US and there could of been some wacky term for a phone that Leona didnt know about.
"May I ask whom this is?" Leona said. She was pretty certain it was him. But she didnt want to be desperate and just come out and say Oh is this Corbus! That would make her feel like a complete imbasull.
Leona started figiting with her fingers. And when she talked she on the phone she had a tendancy to play with her hair and laugh alot.
Leona had a strong feeling for Corbus... She had not decided yet if it was the feeling of a good friend to be she could consider a 'Big Brother' or someone she could grow to really like. All she knew was Corbus gave her a happy feeling. That made her smile Though they had just met! His vibe was that strong

Leona's heard a sigh- she was wondering if Corbus was in a bad mood or something... she thought shed try to lighten his mood.
As the cold phone pressed against her face... the hair twirling began.
"Oh well thats nice of your sister. If you may explain-whats the floo network?" She asked. Leona had wonderd if it was some chat thing where you could see the other person. SHe knew there where high tec cell phones where you can talk and look at the screen and see the other. But with her payment she stuck with her cheap silver phone.
She still was on the curiousity of the floo network. Thinking of all the possiblities of what it migh be.

"Well I guess there where some major pieces of wizardry left out of my handbook." Leona said gigling, then rolling her eyes relizing how stupid she sounded.
She put her slippers on as her feet grew cold. Chatting on and on with Corbus. Untill Leonas room mate Alexandra, walked in! Leona didnt like Alexandra, very well. She snored, and talked in her sleep most nights. Other nights she stayed up late with all lights on doing her homework.
"Hello Leona, what have-" She interupted herself once she relized Leona was on the phone. "- Oh Oh who are you talking with!!!!!!"
Leona closed her eyes trying to ignore the obsessed third year who couldnt help but stick her snoute in everyones buisness! "Well Alexandra if you must know im talking to Corbus. Now if u could... Please leave me alone!?" She said trying not to sound like such a bitter drawf. "Im so sorry Corbus! That was my mate. She can be a bit-interuptive.

"Oh she was just being her usuall noisy self." Leona said with a giggle.
She liked talking on the phone-but that floo network started sounding cool to her. And she could hear a slight change in Corbus's, voice. One showing his comfertablity. She asumed he enjoyed talking to her as well.
She didnt want Corbus to get bored... But Leona was slightly nervouse, she couldnt think of a topic to talk about. She kept using filler words such as "Umm, so, yea...."
She finaly took enough time to think of an interesting enough topic. She cleared her throught, then began talking.
"So Corbus-tell me more about yourself... and your background?"
Alexandra had finaly left the room-slamming the door behind. causing Leona to jump in her seat a bit.

Leona lived a complicated life...
She wasnt sure where to start-"Well I guess I can tell you about um well some of my life!"
I had an older brother, but he was murderd;My sister was murderd as well. And as it goes for my mother...she was muggle born-but she went here 30sum years ago. She was in Slytherin...Now she is just a stupid drunk. We dont talk. My father however is wolf. He was in Hufflepuff. They actually met her at Hogwarts. My father and I are very close... But living with him puts my life in risk. I love him but i rarely see him. Iv lived with my god mother on and off the past three years. And she told me about this whole world. She said I had a chioce. I could come to Hogwarts, but id never be able to see her again-or stay in my hometown New Jersey and Live with her till im off to college. I asked why not both...but she said if I where to come here and still talk to her, our lives would be in danger-"
Leona wasnt sure if she had gone to far! If she said too much. She didnt want the secrets behind her and her god mothers relationship to be revield. She had only told her best friend back hoe. And soon enough she had to go in hidding from the dark master. Leona did not want the same for Corbus.

Leona giggles a bit, when she noticed Corbus was studdering on his words-the fact he said "Wow alots happend in your life." Him saying that diddnt bother her.
She figured it was best if she didnt tell Corbus about her God Mother. Although she felt she could trust Corbus, she knew trust works both ways....
"Well Corbus. Its a very long story! And if id tell you-id probably have to kill you." Leona said in a joking matter. "Nah not really. I couldnt hurt a fly! Haha But ill make you a deal. If you give me a little more details-or secrets of yours. Ill spill my secrets." Leona said in a softer toned voice.
She thought shed make her story a little more interesting by making a two way deal with Corbus.

Leona had to think about what she was going to ask Corbus. A few questions passed her mind-but she wanted one that could be answerd with much details.
She thougt about there past conversations.....
"Hmmmm alright. Ill ask you a question!"
She gave it one more thought.
"Alright. So tell me about your enemies? Earlier you said something about getting away from them-if i recall. So please do explain!?"
She didnt understand how a guy as nice and cool as Corbus, could have people who hated him. It didnt make sence to her. He seemed to polite to have enemies...

"Well Ill try to explain." Said Leona looking up. She was trying to phrase this so it was understandable.
"Well lets start off with saying my godmother, and my blood mother where best friends. When mother went 'bad' so did there friendship. I stopped talking to my mom. And moved in with my godmother Marie, but she eventually had to tell me about the wizard world... When she did and my mother found out, it didnt make things go well. My mother hierd some people to kill her. But I made an agreement with my mother. I told her I would come here to Hogwarts, and never speak wit my godmother again-as long as she stayed safe I wouldnt do anything."
"Oh I should have mentioned thoos earlier... There was a letter for me from my father. After he died... I got to see it. It talked about my powers, said something about how strong they are. And if I make the simpliest wrong decision-the matter of death could be iinvolved. So I used that against my mother. I told her if Marie stayes safe, my mother stayes safe. And ummmm..."
Leona stopped and took a deep breath. She relized how long of her non stop talking it had been. But she still had more to say. But she thought she should leave it there. She wasnt sure if she had said too much already. Should she tell him if she still talks to her godmother. If she did Marie's life could be at stake.

leona blinked intencley. She wasnt sure how to react to what Corbus said.
Not from earth? What could he mean by that? Obviously its pretty blahn and simple. It means he isnt from earth!!!!! But then where is he from?
All Of Leonas thoughts came at once. Her head started spinning. So much information over one phone call. She looked at her clock. It was later then she had usually been up. But she got so lost in there conversation. More thoughts came to her. Leona bit her lip thinking on what to say.
I thought my life was hard.... Here Corbus is telling me his deepest secret. Im glad he considers me one of his closest friends. So what im friends with an alien? Oh gosh what do I say to him?
As her thought went through her mind she decided to just plane and simple ask.
"What do you mean Corbus? Not from Earth? Where are you from?"

"Putarius?" Leona tried saying the galaxys name but was unsure exactly how to say it.
She had so many for Corbus. What was Putarius like? Was it beautiful? Was it a big planet. or little? What did the people look like? Did they look the same as Corbus? Did they have a differant language? Did Corbus like that planet?
Leonas head started spinning. She was sorta new to all the wizard stuff. And on top of that her new friend turns out to be and alien!
"Corbus?" She thought about which question would answer the most questions of them.
"Did you like Putarius? You said you moved here five years ago to find your sister. You found her right? So why stay here on Earth. Was your planet bad?"
Leona took a long breath after muttering on that sentance.



xXSorry I Havnt Been On Lately! Had To Take A Time Out Of The Wizard Wrld And Focus On School.But Im Back Now(:"

"Oh. I guess I understand? Now you'v got me wondering what your sister thinks it is you'll find here on Earth."
Leona never thought that earth held anything special. But ever since she discovered Hogwarts she has a new perspective. Then meeting Corbus and hearing his story about Putarius; her mind was blown.
Leona kept yawning she was slowley falling asleep. But She wouldnt mind keep on talking to Corbus.
"Tell me more about your planet? It sounds like a great place; but what about hat new ruler? Just tell me everything!" Said Leona. Corbus had a way with explaining things that brought joy too Leona. She just wanted to hear him talk. She loved his voice, and his stories!

She started blushing after Corbus mentioned her yawning.
She was very tierd. He made a statement about how the days on Putarius are longer-But Leona felt like her day was the longest of them all.
She yawned once again then giggles a bit. "Alrighty Corbus. Ill see you in class. Goodnight dee." She Said in her cute Jersey accient.
She felt silly for calling him deer! Then blushed again for all the same reasons and more.

Leona walked down the crowded hallways. Many students going differant directions. She mangaged to get to her class room with out being trampled by fourth years. Leona was going to be a second year in a small amount of time, yet she was still trying to get use to the school. For it being almost a year Leona had only picked up few tricks. She knew when it came to her next professor to sit in the back! She dosnt mind being called on but if your in the first couple rows-dont expect not to get called on daily! As she walked torwards the back of the class she reconized a certain face.
She saw Corbus sitting by himself, and decided to aproach. "Hey there stranger this seat taken?" She said with a smile on her face and I quiet friendly tone.
She shufffled the books in her hands setting them on the desk. As she set her books down she just stood still. She looked at the empty chair next to Corbus, then directly at Corbus; still with a smile on her face staring into Corbus's eyes.

Leona took a seat besides Corbus, who at the moment was soarting through his bag. She glanced over to see how un orginized Corbuses bag was, then picked up her well put together bag. She lifted the toat to the table and slid out her notebook, quil pin, and book. Then slid out her diary. She quickly tried picking it up before Corbus would see it. But while she tried grabbing it; it slipped through her fingers and slid towards Corbus.
Leonas eyes got wide. Her mouth opened a bit, letting out a fint sounded gasp. Then after a dumb pause she firmley gripped her diary. Then glanced at Corbus praying he didnt see the page flipped open.
Leona started blushing. The page that had flipped open was filled with things about Corbus. Hearts and smiley faces. Their name together "Leona + Corbus" if he had seen Leona would have been more embarassed then ever. Please oh please Leona, thought to herself. Please oh please tell me he didnt see it!?

"Oh my goodness." Leona said bashfully. She couldnt believe she let her journal slip out.
"Smilies? Right! Uhm what els did you see?" She asked Corbus hoping to god he saw nothing els.
She put the Diary back into her bag, this time putting a lock charm on it. That way if it where to slip again np pages would open and display Leonas secrets.
She looked back at Corbus and figited her fingers. Her face was still red from embarassment.

Leona was reliefed when Corbus said he didnt see what was written.
She would of had no idea on what to say. She looked up from her diary to Corbus face to see a smile. She kept wondering on what was on his mind.
"Well Corbus you look like your up to know good." She said sweetley in a sarcastic voice. "Whats on your mind? Not planning an evil scam are you?" She said in a joking matter. Smiling back at the boy.

"Well if you and I had a night out I asume it wouldnt be too dreadfull." Leona said laughing. "Actually I would really enjoy going on a date." Not even Leonas smile that crossed her face could explain how happy it made her that Corbus had asked her out.
Aw he probably did see my diary... She thought to herself. But then she though; what would it matter the point is I have a date with him!? Leona could not wait. She hadnt dated in over a year. She found no guy was worth it. But Corbus seemed differant-he seemed special.
