Ravenclaw Common Room

Alice trudged down the halls tell she reached the painting that opened into the common rooms.
"You realize you have to solve a riddle?" the picture asked her.
"Please just let me in or do a password thingy like the rest of the houses please?" she begged and the picture opened.
"Only this once because your exhausted." The picture explained and Alice stepped in. she went towards the chair were she always sits but saw it was taken so she settled on the floor pulling out books and parchment from her bad digging through her unorganized mess she finally came across the black leather bound book she was searching for. Alice looked at the fire memorizing the unruly pattern it followed flashing back and around.

Elladora was coming down the staircase to the dorms at an alraming pace. A door slammed shut behind her, and her hair got caught. "Ow, ow, ow!!" she said, pulling her long, black hair out of the shut door. After a minute of struggling, she finally just opened the door, and let her hair fall back down to her waist. Elladora continued her run down the stairs, and threw herself into the fluffiest couch in the common room.

She rested for a bit, catching her breath before sitting up rather quickly. She noticed someone by the fire. "Helena?" Elladora asked tentatively. "Is that you?"

Emmalynn was wandering the school when she found herself in front of the Ravenclaw tower entrance. Before she had decided to go in or not, the tower had already given her a riddle:

"To make objects fly is as simple as two choice words and..."

Emmalynn was garbage with riddles on a good day, and today she was tired and unfocused, but she repeated the riddle to herself and thought about it. We learn the hover charm in first year... the words are Wingardium Leviosa and... ah!

"Swish and flick!" she said, pleased with herself, even though it was an easy riddle. She walked into the common room and saw Elladora. "ELLA!! I got the riddle right!!" she exclaimed.

Elladora smiled at Helena as Emmalynn burst into the room. Elladora was slightly startled, but easily calmed as it was just her friend.

"Congratulations, Emmalynn," Elladora said, deciding to talk like a muggle game show host. "And welcome back to the Ravenclaw Common Room! Your prize upon entering this fine day will be..." Elladora looked around her searching for something that could be a prize, or at least turned into one.

Elladora whipped out her wand, summoned over a piece of firewood, and shaped it into a thestral. "This!" she finished, handing out her craftwork proudly.
