Hufflepuff common room

Jamie walked into the common room, there was already some people that Jamie didn't know when he got in. He gave them a nod as he walked on up into his dorm, wonder who im sharing with he thought

Natalie walked in.

"Awww man," she said, and she swore under her breath, " wrong room again.....third time this week-" she spotted Jamie assending the stairs, " wow....this is the Hufflepuff common room, isn't it......and I was heading for transfiguration....how the heck did I get here." She laughed at her stupidity.

"Shouldn't you be in class," she said to Jamie.

Jamie just looked at her... with a guilty smile,

"funny you should say that!" laughed Jamie
"I'm sick" he coughed mokingly

"Sure you are," said Natalie sarcastically, "maybe should try that to get out of astronomy....something like...I fell asleep, and I tell you, it's exhasting climbing all the way up there every Wednesday at midnight."

Jamie rolled his eyes,

"I think i might drop a few subjects, I can't handle the whole doing every subject for owls we've got two more years of this crap to got through

"I know.....and what with having to use a time turner....that's tiring too...especially since I near got caught twice last week by Filch and then again one day by his cat.....its stupid...but I do like the subjects," said Natalie

"I like tyhem too, but yano, it's hard and two more years? Hermione granger couldn't even do that" Jamie pointed at the picture of the trio on the wall

Shadow appeared silently behind a statue, and watched the pair.

Jamie turned around

"okay Shadow you can come out now! Im beginning to think that ive got the wrond dorm, how'd you all get in here without the password?"

"Apparation protection doesn't work against teleportation." Shadow said quietly, emerging from behind her statue.

"thats comforting to know isn't it.." he said wondering what Shadow could have seen in this room, at times the hufflepuff friendliness could become somewhat over powering....

Shadow glanced around somewhat worriedly, as if looking for something.

Elladora had slipped into the Hufflepuff common room un-noticed by the few others and slipped something out of her pocket, she pointed her wand at it and muttering to her self.

Within a matter of seconds, a ginormus dead pig with wings was flying in chaotic circles of the house tower, though Elladora was careful to not let it harm any valuble objects, or lives... After about a minute of this crazy scheme, Elladora slipped out of the room just as quietly with the flying dead pig following after her.

Shadow ducked as the pig flew through where her head had just been.

( a flying pig?)

the flying pig left the common room and Jamie turned to the other girls, people from other houses like to test our nerve, as hufflepuffs were supposed to be friendly to everyone! such a load of crap!

Shadow put a hand on Jamie's shoulder, in an attempt to calm him down.

Jamie sighed as he felt her warm hand touch his shoulder

Shadow smiled slightly.
"It was only Elladora, she probably ate too much sugar again."

(Got to go, be back in about 1/2 hour.)

"Ok," said Natalie as the bell rang,"that the end of transfiguration......yay...lunchtime."

Jamie waited at the sofa watching the coffee table,

He was waiting for the food to come up from the coffee table because he couldn't be bothered to go down stairs for his lunch

"What?" said Natalie, almost reading his mind, "Did you rig it to bring up food?"

"Got any extra food?" asks Jake as he walks down from his dorm room

"Yeah, I'm kinda hungry too," said Natalie.

Shadow walked over to the window, watching the sun slowly sink below the horizon.

"Um... I got..." Eliza rummaged in her bag, then brandished a box of brownies. "Got them from the kitchens. I don't like sugary (apart fro sugar sticks) , so you guys can have them." She put them on the table.

"Hey thanks," said Natalie, "platario," she muttered and a plate appeared. She loaded the brownes onto it and tucked in.

(ehh..... food was going to appear on the table!)

suddenly the food appeared on the table infront of Jamie who hadn't moved towards the plate that Nat had

Shadow sighed slightly, lost in her thoughts.

Jamie grabbed some of the food that had formed on the table,

"house elves must work so hard to do all this food!"

"I still don't see how you eat so much." Shadow said quietly from her place by the window.

"I do, geezzz, the food here is sooo good" Jamie froze

"oh god!" he dropped the sandwhich he had in his hand
"im a greedy pig!" Jamie felt very surprised at this thought

"I'll take that sandwich if you don't want it" say Lucas

Jamie looked at Lucas,
"okay" Jamie said grossed out, one eye raised

"Aw Jamie, your not a greedy pig....your just a growing boy," said Natalie, smiling.

"Growing maybe, but upwards or outwards?" Shadow asked jokingly.

(Sorry, old joke we say to my big brother)

Jamie didn't really want to talk about it anymore,

"okay, lets thhink about what we're going to do for one hour of our lives then?" Jamie changed the subject

"Well Jamie.......we could......have a wizard chess tournament....or......duel?" Natalie suggested.

She slapped her knee and said, "Yee Ha!" for no reason.

"i think i'd prefere a game of chess, im not in the best of moods for a duel..." Jamie said

"Why....whats up?" asked Natalie, conserned about her friend.

(PS Pickles have you seen the new Potter Puppet Pals yet? It's awsome. BTW, I went home from school early today on account of feeling a bit sick. I'll be in tomorrow though.)

"nothing really, just a bit tired thats all." he said

"Ok then......and I feel a bit.....weird....so lets just talk, we never talk.....oh....we talk all the time don't we, but we should talk, is the word talk starting to sound weird to you?" said Natalie

(( i just watched it school is for losers? its kinda short and pathetic not really one of there best like))

"okay lets just talk," he said offering them a seat in the neqr empty common room

"Thanks," said Natalie, taking a seat, "so whats new Jamison?"

"nothing really, fighting crime, loving evil all the normal stuff, what about you?" Jamie asked Natalie

"Not much....nearly got caught with my time turner yesterday.....and I did go to Hogsmeade last weekend....but not much," said Natalie.
